This is the best airbnb I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in, every one of us was indeed impressed with how lovely the apartment was, it’s very spacious and perfect for 4+ people, it’s the ideal location for exploring Madeira by car. As it’s in the central location of the island. The host was amazing left us a welcome basket with loads of different local snacks, they was very welcoming and attended to our needs and provided lots of information about Madeira and activities that we can do Overall for the price and quality of what you’re getting it’s out of this world 🌍 get yourself booked in 👍🏻

We had a great stay and wish we could have stayed longer. Check in was easy and the shop and bar at the bottom of the hill are easily walkable and have everything you need. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the sunny porch in the mornings watching the birds, including a kestrel and a buzzard. The hot tub is a touch of luxury and we enjoyed meeting the goat next door. The property is private and peaceful but within a short driving distance of the town and many walking trails. Thank you so much for a lovely stay, Jo + Matt.

We really enjoyed our stay at Maria's place. It was very clean and comfortable. It has lovely views of the ocean and great location to discover the whole island. There was also everything we needed including the basics for cooking like oil, vinegar, salt and herbs. The only small downside was that the town was a little too far to walk but there are a couple of restaurants that can be walked to. Maria was great at giving us recommendations and helping out when we had issues with our flights.

We really enjoyed the accommodation! (family of 6 people) This one is well located, a beautiful view, very peaceful and private place. It is very well equipped, heated pool (for €30/day), barbecue available, very spacious and clean. Which makes it a great value. We recommend it!

Such a beautiful house on the mountain. You have the sea view. Rui very helpful, he helped us a lot with checking in. You have to be able to drive properly when booking this accommodation. The best way is to use the way according to the instructions of the landlord. The surroundings are fantastic, very quiet and very private. We will definitely come back.

Great location with beautiful views and private parking by the house. The house is generously sized and conveniently equipped. The host was friendly, helpful and easily accessible if needed. Particularly noteworthy is the small supermarket right around the corner. A very nice thank you for allowing us to spend a nice time in Madeira.

We had a great stay at Susana’s Airbnb in Funchal! The space was clean, bright, and very well-equipped — the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The highlight was definitely the enormous terrace with beautiful views over the city and sea — a perfect spot to relax. The only small issue was that the bed mattresses were not the most comfortable, as we could feel the springs. However, this didn’t take away from an overall lovely experience. Thank you, Susana!

My husband and I are in our 60's, we did not hire a car but relied on the buses. The Number two bus is right outside, the number 1 & 3 are down the hill and a bit of a walk, easier for us if we walk a bit of a zig zag- up one block stop for a wee sip and then continue :) the number 4 bus stops about one block down and over a block. We took the bus to Lido and enjoyed the swimming complex with a huge pool, lockers , showers. We enjoyed a few jazz venues, walking along the promenade and roof top views. The apartment was lovely and had a nice cross breeze and a washer/dryer. We would book again. :)

Fabulous trip to Madeira, accommodation was excellent, very comfortable bed, lovely apartment, really enjoyed the balcony. The apartment was in a quiet street in the old town, close to lots of fabulous restaurants and the cable car station. Loved everything about it, our host was amazing really responsive and gave us some great recommendations for places to eat. Thoroughly enjoyed the food. Will definitely come back 😁

We were allowed to spend 6 nights in Julie's wonderful apartment. Julie has proactively contacted us before and we agreed on our arrival time. She was then on site to hand over the keys and also explained to us everything we needed to know. The place was really just a dream, the view is wonderful and we couldn't get enough of it. It looked exactly like the photos! The kitchen and bathroom had everything you needed, even shower gel and shampoo! Julie was super helpful with a last-minute change in dates. We highly recommend Julie's place!

Very good value for money. The apartment is in the middle of the center and from here you can explore Funchal well. The host is very responsive and friendly. The kitchen is well equipped, only the cutlery and glasses were not properly washed.

We had a fantastic stay in this cozy apartment right in the center of Funchal. The location couldn’t be better — just a few minutes' walk to the centre, restaurants, shops, and the beautiful waterfront. It made exploring the city super easy and convenient. The apartment was well-equipped and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The host was friendly and responsive. Despite being in the heart of the city, it was surprisingly quiet at night, and the balcony was a lovely bonus for morning coffee or evening wine. Would recommend this place to anyone looking to explore Funchal on foot and experience the local vibe!

Nice apartment, very functional, beautiful view The app was not working (network problem?) at the bottom of the building upon arrival, so we waited a while at the door, unable to contact the owner to enter A little further from the beach than we understood, but very well located

Chayenne is a nice and super helpful guide. If you need him, he answers quick but not want to bother you. The appartment is well equipped, confortable for two.

We highly recommend it! We went with 4 people, check-in was with the host, but it wasn't a problem, even better because we still got a lot of valuable tips. The apartment was very clean and overlapped with what is offered in the photos. Recommended!

We spent 9 beautiful days in Madeira and were allowed to live in Carlos' apartment. Carlos was very helpful with all our questions and responded flexibly to our request at check-in. Carlos had provided water, coffee, bread, fruit for a first breakfast. We immediately felt very comfortable in the apartment, it is nicely furnished and it has everything you need. From the terrasse you have a side sea view. The location in Funchal is great, you can easily walk to the old town and also by car well out of the city. Very important is the parking space for the rental car in the underground garage. But it must be a small car, also because of the roads in Madeira. 5 min walk is a great Portuguese restaurant (Cai D'Queixo), highly recommended Thank you to Carlos for everything. We would book Carlos's apartment again.

This was the perfect place for my family of 4 for 5 nights. Roberto met us for check-in and guided us into the garage, easy to park and utilize the remote control. From there you access the elevator to the 5th floor. The condo is exactly as it looks in the pictures. Our 2 adult children were with us and the room situation was ideal. The weather could have been better, lots of rain, wind mixed with some sun. I chose this over some other homes because of the amazing patio with a view, we didn't use that much due to rain.We ate at Francos the second night, which is around the corner, it was good, but we discovered the streets closer to the water and hotels, and ate in that area the next three nights. We also found a great breakfast/coffee shop called the LOFT in the same area, super yummy and so reasonable. The kitchen was fine, and worked for breakfast on a few days. Good to know there is a washer, but no dryer, so you have a drying rack. We loved our stay here!

We had a wonderful stay at the property. We particularly liked the magnificent view of the coast, the good amenities of the apartment and the quiet location. We felt completely comfortable and would rent the airbnb again at any time!

Had a wonderful time spending a week here. Great location if you want to be just outside of the busy area of Funchal. Having a designated parking was really good since finding street parking can be challenging. Also located right next to a shopping mall with a grocery store so it’s easy to pick up essentials. Fatima who checked us in was great and responsive!
