Our listed half-timbered house (75–90 m², for up to 5 people) has what hardly any other holiday apartment offers: a private gym that can be used almost around the clock, with a leg press, cable pulley, and dumbbells up to 30 kg. Afterwards: Finnish sauna, garden, starry sky. Rent bikes and canoes, enjoy the Elbe, and unwind in the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Halfway between Hamburg and Berlin. Gym free of charge for stays of 3 nights or more!

My holiday home in Wendland

This old barn has been transformed into an architectural experience through modern expansion. Over 250 square meters, two living areas, three closed bedrooms and two bathrooms, one with a bathtub. There is also a sauna. Suitable for up to two families or three couples. The location: edge of the village overlooking the fields, the circular village of Trabuhn in the beautiful Wendland. In the village there is a riding stable with riding opportunities for guests, including children. Swimming facilities in Arendsee and Gartow.

Time out in the forest with an oven and sauna!

In the middle of the forest, on a clearing, 3 km from the beautiful town of Gartow, lies our special retreat. If you are looking for peace and quiet in nature and value simplicity and goodness, this is the place. The old half-timbered building, a former stable, was renovated with high quality and sustainably with natural materials. Clay plaster on the walls and the wood-burning stove guarantee an excellent indoor climate, and the walk to the wood-fired sauna promises absolute relaxation!

Vacation home

Welcome to our stylish apartment – ideal for families, groups and friends. Completed in 2022, the property offers modern living comfort on approx. 170 m². You can expect a spacious, open-plan living and dining area with fully equipped kitchens, four separate bedrooms, two bathrooms and a sofa bed for two additional guests. Space for up to 10 people. The highlight is the bright living area with high ceilings, open half-timbered and glazed Tennentor overlooking the village square.

Vacation home "Schwalbenblick"

Our first vacation rental is located in the front half of the former cowshed. On the ground floor there is a charming kitchen island, the dining and living area as well as the bathroom. The double bed in the upper sleeping area is complemented by a single bed, and there is also a comfortable sofa bed for two (a total of 5 sleeping places). Our second listing, the Owl's Nest, is located right next door and can also be booked. In that case, there is space for up to 8 people.

Listed farmstead

Relax with the whole family in this cozy accommodation. The listed building ensemble from 1799 is located in the Wendland region, where numerous cultural highlights meet beautiful, partly untouched nature. A true paradise for children as well: A sandbox, a large hammock, plenty of play equipment, bikes, scooters, and the traditional circular village (“Rundling”) that’s perfect for playing together. An organic pig farm is also part of the property, adding to the rural charm.

Natur Nest Nemitz – Living in a converted stable

Our new, charming and lovingly furnished apartment is located in a former stable building of the old farm, just 700 m from the Nemitz Heath. The 60 sqm are divided into a kitchen, hallway, bathroom, a bedroom/living room and a beautiful wooden terrace - ideal for couples or solo travelers, suitable for a maximum of 3 people. Wallbox and bicycle shed are provided. On request, 1–2 horses can be accommodated (€20/night) – ideal for unforgettable star rides in great nature.

Wendland with dog up to 8 people, winter sauna!

Dannenberg in the beautiful Wendland with beautiful cycling trails, forests and the nearby Elbe. Great outdoor pool nearby, good nearby shopping, sauna can be booked from September to the end of April. (€10 hour) On weekends only book both nights, no one-night booking. It's an apartment, Airbnb presents it as a tree house! Large staircase to the top, large apartment, large balcony - no shared use. For check-in, the door is open from 3 pm, the key is inside.

Elbperle, Pure Nature

Here in the Lenzerwische you can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. We have the Elbe right in front of us. In summer, it invites you to swim or fish. In autumn and winter, it sometimes shows its power and lets the water level rise...Wildlife of all kinds are at home here, and a birdlife that will amaze you. Our Elbe Pearl is also so special because the Elbe Cycle Path runs right outside our door.

Stylish country house for family, friends & groups

The 200-square-metre, freshly renovated and heritage-listed "Fohlenstall" is idyllically located in the heart of the Wendland, near the Elbe Valley Biosphere Reserve. Set in a 10,000-square-metre garden with mature trees, the light-filled house offers plenty of space for families, groups of friends or workations. The generous amenities, lovingly selected antiques and modern design create a special atmosphere – a place to arrive, be together and relax.

Relax on the small pony farm

Enjoy a great time on our private farm with our horses/ponies. Depending on the number of guests, you have two or three bedrooms, a large living room with a dining table, a small but well-equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with a bathtub at your disposal. From the terrace you have a beautiful view over the horse pasture and enjoy the sunset. I'm happy to give you tips on things to do in our beautiful Wendland. I look forward to meeting you!

Kulturhaus Wahrenberg

Unfortunately, our farm is not suitable for excessive parties. Our house was built around 1850. The house and barn of the listed three-sided farmstead are built with oak timber framing. There are 10 wedding linden trees around the house. In November, when the linden trees are pruned back, the house can be seen in all its glory. From May, it then slowly disappears behind shady foliage, remaining wonderfully cool throughout the summer...
