Tranquil location, stunning views - a real getaway from the hustle & bustle of daily life. Greatly missing morning coffee watching the sun rise over the mountains, listening to the birds & smelling orange blossom from the trees! Attentive hosts, easy to reach. Stayed here as two families (4 adults, 4 kids) & there was plenty of space, everything needed to make it our home away from home. Clean, well-equipped - BBQ & cooking facilities made preparing meals easy. The heated private pool and ping pong table were particular hits! Comares nestled in the mountains is beautiful & only a short drive away - Restaurante Verde Oliva is particularly amazing, incredible views, great service & excellent food! Lots of places to explore by car (you won't reach anywhere by foot!). Nerjes, at the recommendation of Jose, was a lovely day out. Also recommend a visit to Almachar, try Bar Lopez if you can - friendliest service, great coffee and fab toasties! Highly recommend - thank you Jose & Isabelle.

Lovely stay. Very nice welcoming bottle of wine, fruit, crackers, etc. Kudos to Lawrence and his wife for a nice welcome and lots of good recommendations. Beautiful surroundings and a good central point to visit white villages and other sites. Only suggestion is to remove that there is a dryer from the amenities list, only a drying rack. Not really helpful in cold, rainy weather. Overall, a great stay and would definitely return.

Great villa to spend a few days enjoying the pool, barbecue and the incredible house of Carlos. We were able to visit Granada and all the wonderful surroundings , Carlos is always attentive to any questions, giving recommendations and making the stay very nice. Highly recommended!

I don’t even know where to start- this place was so great! Situated off a main road but still easy to find, the house offers ample space for, well, everything. There are at least 4 areas to sit outside, as well as a private pool with a while bar attached to it, but indoors it’s just as comfortable. Heating worked well, bathrooms spacious and clean, kitchen well-equipped and inviting to use. Indeed the nearest bigger supermarket is not close at all, so come prepared, but Tim and Kate also provided several kitchen staples plus some extra groceries that took the stress off. The area is gorgeous, and there are several restaurants nearby if you choose not to use the facilities (that do also include a barbecue!). Plenty of entertainment around, games, movies, and just generally a great vibe. This is clearly a well-loved home, so glad we picked it. The hosts responded super quick and even offered a late checkout as it was possible, thanks Tim & Kate!! Hope to be back someday.

A beautiful villa on even more impressive grounds. The house, garden and pool are in great condition and well kept. The host allowed us an early check in and late check out which was highly appreciated. It was due to no visitors coming the day we left so of course it couldn’t be done always but was nice that he volunteered us that option. Gave loads of great recommendations for local restaurants in both Nerja and Frigiliana (a gorgeous town just 5 mins drive away). Would highly recommend.

What a nice time we had with our boys of 3 and 8 in Nuria's villa. Of course because of Nuria's hospitality for whom nothing is too much. Anything you need is in the house or get them in the house. Otherwise, there is always the phenomenal view. The variety of the area really offers something for everyone. Sometimes into the mountains, or on an adventure to the waterfall through a dry river bed. Also beautiful historic cities less than an hour away and of course the quiet beach life of Nerja where you will find plenty of facilities for all ages. Andalucia has stolen our heart. And Nuria also got a place in that <3

We had a really great holiday here. The location was perfect for us as we had privacy and peace but we're only a few minutes away from amenities by car. The villa was home from home and had everything we needed. There are so many lovely outdoor dining areas to choose from and we used them all! The pool got a 10/10 from the kids so they were delighted! The nearest beach town of Torres del Mar has absolutely everything you could need and is only 15 minutes away. Janet has been brilliant at communicating and answering queries. A top host! So a big big thank you from us. We've had a memorable, happy and action packed holiday. It's a beautiful location and well worth exploring.

Great stay at Madeleine's. Rejuvenating and peaceful, it is the perfect place to rest and enjoy the calm and nature that the mountains offer us. Dear fellow travellers, Alan is a great hosts, warmly welcoming you. Guides you to the place (which is really a hidden gem) and he gives solid instructions about the house. Also Alan can tip you on walking and shopping. All works great, and is pretty idiot proof in use :-). Be aware that the swimming pool lamp is in the hallway, but that is the only remark I have on this excellent place and tastefully decorated house on the hill. Enjoy your stay.

Wow Casa Olivier is absolutely stunning! The villa is tastefully decorated in an Andalusian style. Each terrace has beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. The villa really has everything you need including a huge catering kitchen and a Games room complete with a beautiful wooden bar. The hosts are always there if you need them and also left us with exquisite coffee, home grown olive oil, fresh tangerines, lemons and oranges. We would recommend other guests to come with a private vehicle to explore the local area. Casa Olivier might just be the nicest place we have ever stayed.

The decor is neat and the large pool equipped with a hot tub is top!… A more than a more than a perfect stay!… A HUGE thank you to the owners for the welcome, the daily touches, their availability and their concern for excellence!… have no hesitation in booking!…

We recently had a fantastic stay at Mariló's property with our group of 16 (11 adults and 5 children). The host allowed us to check-in early and was very hospitable. He gave us a tour of the property and was responsive to all our questions throughout our stay, also offering recommendations for local shops, restaurants and activities. The property itself was exactly as described and had everything we needed for a comfortable fortnight stay. Being relatively remote in the mountains, it was a very peaceful holiday, though having a car is essential to get to and from the location and make any excursions. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing mountain getaway.

The house was great and was very clean and had a lot of space. It had everything we needed for cooking. The pool space was so comfortable and had a lot of loungers. Susan attention was incredible, she always helped us any time we needed and was always available for us. She answered our messages so quick and she was so effective. We will sure repeat soon.

Very nice place, tried to extend our stay but understandably it was already reserved. If we were to go back to Cordoba we would definetely try to stay there.

We enjoyed Robert's house. It was nice and spacious and very clean. Upon arrival, we received a large basket of useful, useful and/or tasty things.

Property better than the photos Loved the pool and hottub. Could have stayed at the property all week but enjoyed several outings that are all worth doing (Nerja and Frigliana which are both just over 30 minutes drive) Drive up to the property from Sayalonga is quite the experience. Glorious mountain road (narrow and steep at times). Any car can manage it though and shouldn't put anyone off the property

Wonderful retreat - fantastic 360 panorama with astonishing views. Incredibly peaceful and exactly as described. Absolutely top quality design/architecture of the property as a whole, it has been really thought through and marries form and function beautifully. Mette is a wonderful host, nothing was too much trouble and she was incredibly responsive. The only guidance I would add is that it is isolated - which is the whole idea! It’s not a long drive (40 mins to nearest beach) but the roads do need a bit of getting used too and you need to be a bit more planful than spontaneous. But overall as good as it gets for this sort of holiday and property!

Jurn's house is just beautiful. The location is incredible, easy to enjoy peace and quiet. Jurn welcomed us and was always helpful and super nice. A lovely stay.

Excellent Villa, really well equipped, super clean and a very welcome starter pack, useful if arriving late. Quite remote location, but as described and the main costal area is no more than 20 mins away by car. Loved this place, great for a family holiday.
