Hotel vacation rentals in Progreso

We stayed at the Hotel Peregrino for two nights and had a wonderful time. The historic center of Mérida is within walking distance, and the ADO bus terminal is, by car/taxi, just mere minutes away. The hotel manager was very welcoming, spoke impeccable English and supported us in anything we needed. We had booked a day trip which required us to leave before the official breakfast time, the staff was very supportive and prepared sandwiches, some fruit as well as tea for us to take on our way. We would definitely recommend Jim's place to anyone traveling to Mérida.

Me and my husband enjoyed very much, pool was very clean and refreshing, room was also super clean and atmosphere is really fantastic 💓can’t wait to come back again

This was my fifth stay at Villa Mérida and it most certainly won’t be my last. It is a tranquil oasis within the heart of a beautiful and dynamic city. There aren’t words sufficient to describe how welcoming and kind the staff are, including Batiste, the gracious concierge. We were so sad that we weren’t able to catch him before our departure to say goodbye. The Villa itself is pure magic. The pool was recently upgraded with a heating system that provides the perfect temperature for a relaxing dip. The landscaping is a tropical dream come true. The kitchen is the perfect place to meet other guests, grab coffee or espresso, and prepare a quick meal if you don’t feel like venturing out. If you are lucky enough to find rooms available, book them. You won’t be disappointed!

I had a wonderful stay! Batiste, the host, and other staff were so friendly and ran the place beautifully and professionally. It was private and peaceful but there were many opportunities to connect and visit with other guests. I also arrived to the surprise that my room was renovated and had a fantastic new and bigger layout which was perfect! The area felt very safe even at night, and it was very close and accessible to anywhere I wanted to visit. If not walkable, everything was a quick Uber ride away. I would absolutely recommend Villa Merida to anyone! Thanks to Batiste & co. For a lovely vacation.

We had a great stay in a private twin room. The Hostal is super clean, the kitchen is great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend staying there!

Es un hotel con amplias habitaciones, me gusto la decoración, los muebles, la cama muy cómoda, solo me gustaría que el servicio de cocina iniciara más temprano, ya que podíamos desayunar a partir de las 8 y en ocasiones debíamos salir más temprano y no podíamos desayunar. Regresaría para otra ocasión👍😊.

As advertised. There were quite a few bugs and creatures, but that can be expected at a campsite with cabanas.

my husband and I stayed in Monica's home for a full week. the home was huge and could have easily accommodated a family or a group. the home was located near shops and restaurants. It had colonial charm with modern amenities ( air con, filtered water, smart tv). The outdoor area had nice furniture and ceiling fans. The pool was beautiful, we used it everyday.

To be honest, I don’t want to say how much we loved this place because then it might not be available next time I want to visit! It was perfect for my family of 5 (kids age 12, 10 and 7) from the moment we arrived. Willy was so kind and gracious, helped orient us to the area and greeting us personally for check in. The home was spacious, clean and comfortable. The ocean was literally a short walk out the front door and the water was warm and shallow, very safe for my kids to swim in. The balcony gives a beautiful view and we watched the kite boarders in the evening with our happy hour! The downtown area of Progreso is a short drive, which we loved - we were thrilled to generally have the entire beach to oourselves! There are plenty of bodegas and restaurants withon walking distance. The restaurant across the street, Tacon Madre, makes amazing and affordable food - we bought a kilo of Al pastor our first night and ate it for 3 days! We will stay here again, hopefully next year. 😁

El precio fue bastante bueno para la ubicación del lugar, nos encantó.

Es un lugar muy tranquilo, limpió, desde que llegas al hotel te reciben de una manera agradable. Son muy amables, atentos y muy buen servicio.

Todo estuvo muy bien nos encantó,te hace sentir en casa,la anfitriona súper amable y atenta,cabe mencionar que las camas están muy cómodas (nos avían tocado camas muy incómodas) sin duda la recomiendo y esperamos volver pronto

just the perfect place in Merida. it's not in the city center but you can easily walk about 20min to get to the main square, when you get tired, you can use Uber which is about 2eur to get back to the place. We loved everything about the apartment, it's big, great AC in the bedroom, wifi was fast, there is hot/cold water dispenser, cooking utensils, small patio, comfortable bed, just everything you need for great stay! we will come back thank you

Una estancia muy agradable. La cama es realmente muy cómoda. Se descansa muy bien. Nos retrasamos al llegar y Rita siempre fue muy amable y contestó al momento. Con flexibilidad para la llegada. Los utensilios para cocinar nos fueron muy útiles y el espacio compartido era muy agradable también. Todo limpio. Realmente la estancia fue muy cómoda y el precio increíble.
