Vacation rentals with a firepit in Province of Matera

Excellent discovery of the region thanks to the privileged location of Vito's house! The place was very clean and quiet, with everything you need for cooking. The garden is also very nice, we felt at home! We would highly recommend it!!

The house is surrounded by olive groves, in an oasis of peace just a few miles from the sea, we particularly appreciated the outdoor garden. The sunrise view from here is truly beautiful. Egidio is a super helpful host.

Wonderful location, breathtaking city, unique stay combining the ancient with modern luxuries and a lovely host. Host was always responsive and helpful especially with our last minute request for the nearby secure parking garage. Garage attendees were expecting us and so friendly. Spacious accommodation with easy, secure access mere steps from the heart of Matera. A delicious complimentary breakfast at a nearby cafe was also greatly appreciated. Lovely, friendly staff serving divine pastries, sandwiches and coffees! Matera is not to be missed and staying in a cave apartment, with a hot tub as well, was a once in a lifetime experience!!

Every word would be superfluous to describe Marco's availability and kindness, a rare level of hospitality and when we needed it, he was immediately ready to help us, much more than he was in his duty. Not to mention the location, basically it's a simple country house, then you go out, sit at the table under the gazebo in the garden and it is here that you understand what is special about this place. You can enjoy a breathtaking view that on one side overlooks the valley that then leads to the nearby village of Corleto Perticara, on the other expanses of woods and mountains What can I say, if you're looking for some peace, a few days away from the daily stress, this is the place for you. The stay at Oreste was impeccable. Already from the booking interviews, he was absolutely available. Getting to your destination was easy thanks to the detailed information you provided us by phone. We checked in later than expected but it didn't create any issues for us. We found a house clean, tidy, and with an outdoor space that was the joy of the children. He gave us the produce from the garden, a delight. We also had the pleasure of tasting the products of their butcher shop (absolutely recommended) thanks to the possibility of lighting a nice wood-burning barbecue. And again, they were available to help us. If we come back here, we'll definitely choose this place again! Recommended for families who want to relax a little and who want to give children days surrounded by nature.

The apartment fully reflects the photos, we found it with all the necessary accessories including the washing machine and the microwave oven is 5 minutes by car from Policoro in the countryside, quiet and quiet. Upon arrival Francesco and Giusy, greeting, we were offered a welcome drink upon arrival and made us find fruit from their own. Everything didn't disappoint our expectations.

What a wonderful find! A great spot surrounded by olive and orange trees and other local produce. So peaceful! Surprisingly close to the sea too which was a real bonus. Our hosts have been so welcoming and easy to communicate with, nothing seems too much trouble. They have made a much appreciated effort to converse with us. We speak very little Italian and they speak very little English but it has been great fun working through this difficulty. The dogs and cats that live in the grounds all have such wonderful characters and have kept us entertained while we enjoyed our evenings on the terrace. All in all a wonderful stay in a fantastic spot.
