It is only 4.7 km from under centuries-old pines to Koper. But if you choose a bike path towards Portorož and Piran, you have two climbs and tunnels of the old PARENZANA railway. Izola has the city beach Lighthouse, the cleanest sea is here. The beach has a natural shade of conifers, and we can swim in the sea until mid-October.

It is located in the authentic Istrian village of Gažon which is situated on a hilltop above the coastal towns of Koper and Izola. It has only a few tourist capacities, so it remains still a normal living village. The village is surrounded by vineyards and olive orchards.
