It was a beautiful location with perfect access to the rest of Golden Bay! Nothing felt too far and it was always lovely to return to the cozy caboose.

We loved staying at David’s place. Was a walk to everything we needed. Had an amazing outlook onto the water. And David and his family were so helpful. The kids loved the foosball table too. Highly recommended.

Angie is an amazing host. Other than we asked so many questions and favors, all she has been doing was being nice, calm and supportive. The tiny house isn't so tiny.. we were very surprised to see how big the house is versus tiny houses. You have a beautiful lake just in front of you, the house has all amenities you need for cooking or relaxing. There is no wifi - we kinda liked it, place to talk with your partner and have a great night with her. I have absolutely nothing negative to say. Would come again! We wish you the best, thank you!

A truly lovely home, it rained all weekend for us (April) but we really enjoy this home, it was warm, comfortable and modern. Super functional for a large family of six. Melissa is a great and friendly host. Would definitely stay again, thank you! ☺️

For a recent project where we were installing our products, our installation team had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful Airbnb for the past 4 days. They said it was a fantastic experience. The host, Marina was incredibly helpful and kind, going out of her way to ensure the team felt welcome. She had everything prepared for their arrival, including a great selection of coffee, tea, Milo & jams etc! The house was fully stocked with all the essentials. The house is very nice, well arranged, clean, comfortable, great location and had beautiful views. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy, well-equipped home away from home. Lovely large lower floor modern apartment with elevated view over Golden Bay. Quiet but couple of cafes nearby including excellent seafood chowder at Nikau's. We spent 4 comfortable nights there and its central enough for a few solid walks, supermarket 10min away and Collingwood, for the day trip to Farewell Spit, about 35mins. Good choice.
