Very nice stay, with comfortable beds, great balcony and good views.

Minh Vui’s place is fantastic, the best we’ve experienced so far in Vietnam. Minh Vui is also very responsive and friendly as a host. The room is comfortable, spacious and even luxurious for Vietnamese standards. The bed, couch area, small kitchenette and bathroom were very clean and tidy. There’s a beautiful view from the bathtub across the room and to the Halong Bay limestone karsts. There’s either an infinity pool with jacuzzis or indoor pool with jacuzzis accessible for 120 VND per person for 1 time use. There’s a homemade/artisanal icecream shop (with limited flavours but very tasty and reasonable price) at the main floor of the building. Halong Bay isn’t necessarily very pretty or very developed, so location-wise it was slightly disappointing to us (with no nice cafés or restaurants, or even shops at walking distance). Nevertheless, great place, would recommend for a relaxing comfortable stay!

My friends and we stayed at this place for one night and this honestly was one of the best accommodation experiences in Asia in my life. Everything was so nice. The house is awesome! It feels like home. All rooms were clean and Jay prepared everything what we needed. Also he was open for our special requests, but we didn’t have one. Highly recommend this place in Ha Long! There are also many restaurants around, you can walk there - the surroundings are beautiful as well. Thank you Jay for this beautiful place!

Unable to fault the building or the apartment. Stunning sea view, spacious, modern apartment and fantastic host, just what we needed after three weeks travelling in Vietnam. If you are looking for a peaceful, good location and are happy to take a £2 taxi to the busier area then this is the apartment for you. 100% recommend and would definitely stay again if we were ever in Halong Bay. Found a great craft beer restaurant ‘hops and chops’ , excellent food if you want a night off from Vietnamese.

Our stay here was wonderful!! The host was so helpful, and offered us many recommendations for the area. They even helped us book a day cruise around the bay, on the busy holiday! I would definitely recommend staying here, and would stay again if I ever came back to Ha Long!

I had the pleasure of staying at Minh’s apartment at Best Western Sapphire and was thoroughly impressed. The apartment was exactly as described — modern, spotlessly clean, and extremely comfortable. Minh was an exceptional host, demonstrating excellent communication and genuine care throughout my stay. The location is also excellent, with many great coffee shops and restaurants nearby, all while being in a quieter area away from the more touristy parts of the city. Her responsiveness and attention to detail made the entire experience seamless. I would highly recommend Minh’s apartment to any future guests and would gladly stay again.
