We got all the information we needed by communicating before our stay with Tarek. When we arrived, we were welcomed by Thami who came to pick us up. He was extremely available and even accompanied us to the restaurant. You'll definitely be able to count on them if you need anything else you need. The riad is beautiful and comfortable. It is in the heart of the medina and is however very peaceful.

Spacious accommodation, quiet most of the time, and great location for exploring the moroccan delights and culture of Rabat. Very comfortable - bed was comfortable. A cat comes with the territory. Bathroom hand basins need some attention as does the door to the bathroom. Some lighting needs some electrics. Be careful of the hot water!! But overall a great place to stay and with the higher terrace gives you a panoramic view of Rabat and Sale especially at night.

Gilles is a great host. His employee Khadija was also great. It makes you feel at home in Gilles Riad. Khadija prepared breakfast for us, and Gilles cooked for us. Gilles can cook very well! We ate together and chatted. You like to listen to Gilles. On our departure, our taxi ordered the previous day did not come. Gilles kindly wanted to drive us to the airport himself when Khadija found a taxi for us. We were then able to leave by taxi on time. Unfortunately, our trip was overshadowed by continuous rain, we could hardly do anything, which is why our mood was clouded. But Gilles, Khadija and Sarah (another guest) made up for the bad weather. We were pleasantly surprised by the panoramic view of the valley as well as the beauty of the surrounding nature. The house, garden, and pool were impeccably clean and perfectly matched the photos and descriptions provided. We particularly appreciated the presence of relaxation and barbecue close to the pool, which greatly contributed to our comfort. The place is quiet and ideal for a stay with family or friends, looking for a peaceful place to recharge your batteries. The host is very friendly, available and attentive to our needs. In addition, the property is secured thanks to the presence of the caretaker Miloudi, who is not only very kind, but also ensures daily safety, cleanliness of the pool, and the proper functioning of the equipment. We enjoyed our stay so much that we would not hesitate to return, maybe next spring this time!

The airbnb was a great place to stay. Very friendly people who were always eager to help. I have spent my 30th birthday with some friends there. But you should know that you cannot behave the same way like you would in Europe. You have to be careful with alcohol (since it's a muslimic country), loud noises or parties. But Sarah helped us to behave accordingly and showed great patience - also because there was a language barrier. Also you should know that you will not get your own key to enter the airbnb whenever you want to. You have to be there before midnight or tell the owners when you will get home. Same for the restaurant that is inside the Airbnb, you should tell in advance when you want to have breakfast or dinner there. So it's more a bed and breakfast than your "own" airbnb. Either way we had a great time in Rabat and we were so pleased to meet the people working there. Big plus : the house looked very beautiful - typically Morrocan.
