Fantastic place in a fantastic location with a view! You will need a car to get to Marcus’ place, it has uniterupted views of the Baltic sea. Marcus also was very helpful with giving us tips and helping us plan our days, we would not hesitate in staying here again or at one of his other places.

We enjoyed the stay very much and spent a week in the beautiful house, surrounded by nature, water and lovely people! We didn't have a car for the arrival and departure (which would certainly have made it more practical and easier), but the longer walk from the bus stop/ferry was definitely worth it! The location was a dream – a quiet place and lots of nature! For shopping and other excursions, we had bicycles available from the accommodation! Hakan and Natalja were really great hosts! The house is located in the Uppsala / Stockholm area (40 min by train) yet completely rural. The furnishings leave nothing to be desired, and from the hot tub you can look into the Swedish countryside.

We (2 adult, 3 kids) stayed 4 nights at the wonderful house and enjoyed a very cozy and peaceful stay.Matilde's cottage, or rather, little house, has everything one would need and is beautifully decorated. The kitchen is equipped extraordinarily well for a holiday home and we got very pleasantly surprised when cooking since we were quite ambitious with our meals. Matilde was very responsive and helpful. The house has a beautiful garden and terrace so we could enjoy meals or snacks outside and almost always have a sunny place to be. The only thing that takes some getting used to is the toilet but it worked well anyway. The island is very beautiful and peaceful and we enjoyed our walks, berry picking and even though the weather was worse than we had hoped for, we really enjoyed our time there. The boat that we got to borrow added something very special to our trip and it was a unique experience to be able to stay on an island. We highly recommend this place!

We had a lovely two week stay at Johan’s charming house. We loved waking up to the views of the lake and trees, and starting our days with the most beautiful walks around the lake. It is a wonderful place to retreat, peaceful and surrounded by nature, but only a 25 minute drive to Stockholm. Johan was very helpful and responsive. Would highly recommend and hope to stay again!

3 days in a beautiful and very well equipped house. It was clean and comfortable. Our tall teenage grandchildren would have been more comfortable in the single beds if they had been available. But they managed and we had a really good time.although we didn’t use it, the public transport system was close enough to be an asset. Long walks to Stocksund through the forest and past the lakes were a bonus. The information and help I received from the owners including a video walk around the establishment was invaluable when we arrived and included an introduction to the feathered pets . I would highly recommend it. We had a great time. Thank you.

We stayed at this beautiful house in the archipelago for one night with friends, and it exceeded all expectations. The place was even better than the photos, with incredible views to the archipelago and a peaceful atmosphere. The decor was delicate and tasteful, creating a truly lovely space. Communication with Malin was excellent, she was attentive, flexible, and made everything smooth. I highly recommend this place!
