Northern Lights guides usually stop outside the cabin because it is a particularly nice place for the Northern Lights. Enjoy an exceptional northern lights paradise, mountains, forests, mountain lakes and the sea, all just outside the door.

"The View" is the name of the place and it lives up to the name. The cabin is located on the farm "Sollia", which has been in the family for several generations. Here you have direct access to nature and the surroundings on foot, by bike or on skis. Little light pollution, a spacious porch and lovely garden. Here you can swim in the Skogsfjordvannet in the summer or take an ice fishing trip in the winter. Maybe you want a challenge to climb "Nondagstind"? If you want both peace and quiet and urban amenities, Tromsø city is only an hour's drive away.

Welcome to Ramfjorden, a place of beautiful nature and towering mountains. Enjoy your time here in this detached house, which has everything you need for your stay. The area is a good location to see northern lights and arctic animals. Here you can fish in the fjord that is icy 6 months a year, go mountain hikes in the nearby area or drive into Tromsø which takes about 30 minutes. I have free baby crib, snowshoes, sledges, sledges, sledges, fishing and ice fishing excursions. We can also rent out a sauna, skis, and snowboards on request :-)

If the weather is clear, it will dance in the sky directly from the living room window. Many unique destinations on foot and by boat that the host can inform about if needed and have maps available in the house.

Our modern, well-equipped home sits right by the sea with breathtaking mountain views, surrounded by pristine Arctic nature. Spot reindeer, otters, moose, or even whales, and watch the Northern Lights from the porch. Steps away, enjoy a panoramic sauna by the water. A traditional BBQ hut is available as an optional rental. This is our beloved home, and many guests tell us they fall in love with it too. Few places blend comfort and wilderness like this. We never tire of it—and hope you will, too.

Authentic and Romantic Lodge close to nature

Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. The perfect match for a couple, but will also function very well for up to four persons. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

Designer lodge with sea-side sauna and hot-tub

Beautiful designer house by the sea in the countryside 1 hrs drive from the city of Tromsø. The area is great for hiking, skiing, fishing with the midnight sun in the summer and aurora borealis during winter. Included in your stay there is a woodfired sauna placed by the sea with a fireplace and a cosy indoor chill-zone. We charge NOK 250,- per sac of firewood used to heat these facilities . To prepare and fill the hot tub for you to use during your stay, we charge a fee at NOK 2000,-

Do you want to stay in a beautiful remote place, while still connected to the city? Grøtfjord is located just a 40 min. drive from Tromsø. Close to some of the areas most amazing mountains, fjords, ski and climbing areas. a. Big appartment with 1 bedroom that holds a king size bed and one bunk bed. There is a fold out sleeping couch in the living room. All facilites, towels to firewood are included! A car is needed to get to grøtfjord. The hosts live in a different section of the house.
