Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Richmond County

This was a great little place to stay for 2 months (Feb-april). Daphne was a great host, and was always responsive. Being a winter rental there are always little things that happen and they were fixed right away. The house is an older house in the country and felt peaceful. Internet was fast and the house was warm. Unfortunately we could not walk to the ocean, when the snow melted there was a puddle that you could not go around. Would stay again.

You won’t believe it until you see it!!!! The most incredible view that just goes on forever…we brought 2 dogs and the surroundings were absolutely perfect for them. Sean was great and kept in touch with us the whole week, even brought us fresh eggs from his hens!!!! Everything was perfect and we had an awesome time.

We had an amazing one-month stay, the house's highlights are: Well-located residence for discovering Cape Breton Island and its surroundings. Very quiet place and away from neighbors, just across the marina. Beautiful residence, very clean, full of beautiful windows, comfortable and well air-conditioned Outdoor fire pit and pergolas were very much appreciated. All services and restaurants are less than a kilometer away Nature is very present all around the house (deer, foxes, squirrels, crabs, cormorants, herons, blue jay, kingfisher, etc.). Points to consider: No curtain in the master bedroom. No mosquito nets in any of the windows, so you'll have to choose between mosquitoes or air conditioning. Dining table for only 6 people seated (listed; maximum of 8 guests). Very poorly equipped kitchen Many bulbs are burned out indoors and outdoors and none A big thank you to our hosts for the stay!

Cute little historical house within walking distance to Pondville Beach. Peaceful and serene.

We are grateful for our time at Leslie and Todd's beautiful home. The view is extraordinary, we savored time at Pondville Beach and Lennox Passage provincial park. Whenever we had a question, Leslie and Todd responded very promptly. The kitchen was well-equipped with all we needed - including very thoughtful touches. Every room was immaculate. A wonderful stay. Jennie and Guy were amazing hosts. They were extremely helpful and accommodating. Their cozy home has ample space on the main level for indoor living if you ever needed a break day. The deck is large and private and probably my favourite part of the house. The kitchen is extremely well stocked which made cooking away from home an enjoyable experience. The home gets a great breeze from the ocean which kept things cool on the inside and left us with no bugs on the outside! Jennie and Guy provided some excellent tips for things to do in the area and we used the home as a jump off point to see many other fun things in Cape Breton. While not immediately on the ocean, you can still see it from the deck and they were happy to share their kayaks and paddle board with us. A very nice perk which you won't find in many places. The little island is picturesque with lots of beautiful scenery to explore. The local beach was sandy and warm and the two pubs we went to were quite nice as well. Overall, I would highly recommend it. The value for money was extremely fair and we had a great experience overall. Thanks for the memories!

Picturesque, peaceful, and private. Fairly secluded. A lovely spot for a restful weekend away. The host is very responsive, helpful, and extremely easy to get along with. Would stay at Susy & Che’s again.

Sharon’s home is in a beautiful spot, with friendly neighbours, in a beautiful town. Sharon was easy to reach and really made an effort to make us feel welcome!

This place was beautiful. First time staying in a dome and definitely was not disappointed. It was very clean and decorated beautifully. It was very cozy and homie. It was stocked with everything you needed and then some. They thought of everything. The private hot tub was amazing and the lake was steps away. The host was very responsive as well. If you are looking for a private getaway tucked away in the woods on a lake this place is highly recommended.

Amazing all around, stayed for two nights & it was an absolutely stunning experience!! 10/10 recommend. Very clean, aesthetic, and peaceful. You’ll have a beautiful experience waking up in the morning hearing the waves and breathing in the fresh crisp air. We visited in April so I was a little worried that I would be cold but they have a full throttle heat pump located right above the bed, so wasn’t an issue. I loved the little seating room located at front of dome, it also has a full functional kitchen with a microwave, a fridge & stove top. There is also a bbq outside on deck right next to the hot tub:) lots of hiking trails around the area also, the domes were pet friendly also which my dog also had the time of his life ❣️ Thank you for a wonderful expierence and stay! We will be back!

A perfect little airbnb not too far to go see the cabot trail and Cape Breton

Loved it! Hot tub nice and warm. A reprieve From the ‘ off grid’ part of my holiday. Clean, vintage, quaint. I ll be sending you my Sister and My friends! Paradisio!

The idea was to chill out and recharge by the lake - and that's what happened. We had a terrific time and the staff were so responsive and helpful. Hot tub was excellent and looking out on a stunning view. Great little touches like a welcome gift for Archie the dog too which always helps!

This was a beautiful, peaceful place to stay. Wildlife was amazing there. Damien was very responsive I would suggest bringing your own food simply because of the remote location The views were amazing ,gorgeous sunsets. St.Peters is a very friendly town not far from his location, I highly recommend trying The Farmers Pantry.

Cozy cabin, private and quiet. Pet friendly, so that was a plus! I didn't end up getting to check out the common areas. The cabin being 420 friendly made me feel at home. I came to unwind and get away from work/life. This cabin checked all the boxes. I do wish I could have stayed a second night. I would go back again, next time take the time to check out/enjoy common area(s)

We booked super last minute so we could stay longer in town to visit my grandparents - we were beyond pleased with our stay! We had asked the host if there was any stores near by as we weren’t familiar with the area just to grab the kids some hot dogs but nothing was close nor near by and the host actually came down with hot dogs, buns and ketchup for my kids! Such a sweet gesture!!! The cabin was adorable - above expectation! Will definitely book again!

This by far was the most perfect getaway for my husband and I. The one thing we could not stop talking about is how this place was equipped with everything you could think of and I truly appreciated that. From things like condiments readily available in the fridge to toothpaste to even an air fryer, things you would normally have to bring yourself. Outside of that Jennifer and her husband were the most kindest, lovely and fun hosts. We had an impromptu boat ride with them and what a special time it was. My husband and I often do getaways to disconnect from the world and reconnect with each other and this place really elevated our getaway.

My wife, dog and myself all enjoyed the; beautiful scenery, privacy, and the overall experience of staying in a dome. Host gave clear and easy to follow instructions, recommendations for local restaurants and activities, clean area, clean hot tub and offered beautiful additions to our stay. Check in and out was smooth as silk, would definitely recommend and book with again!
