  • Sunset Canoe Tour on the Toronto Islands
After meet and greet at the Centre Island, we will go over the tour safety rules. Your guide will do some of the paddling technique demonstration on land and guests are free to ask any questions. Before getting into the canoe, we would put on our life jackets. Your guide will be assisting with getting in the canoe. Once everyone is in the position and comfortable, the canoe is pushed off, your guide is at the rear seat and we all start paddling. As we canoe around the islands, your guide will be telling about the islands and its history, as well as the history of the unique historical Voyageur Canoe replica that we are using on our tours. Our first destination is the Bird Sanctuary which is located behind the Donut Island. Once we get there, we stop paddling, and seat for a few minutes quietly, listening to the sounds of nature. The next point of interest is the Toronto Harbour and the stunning views of the city skyline. It's time to get out your cameras and take those million dollar pictures and selfies. As we proceed paddling through the islands lagoons and around some small islands, we can indulge into watching the gorgeous sunset skies. Our program ends after the sunset, as we arrive back to the Centre Island. Your guide will assist you to disembark from the canoe. After getting off the canoe, it will be time to say good bye. We hope to see you again. Other things to note No previous experience is required. There is a guide in the canoe with you at all times. There are public washrooms and restaurants in the park. You will need to take the ferry to the islands.

  • Making Healthy Natural Soaps -Workshop
During this 3 hrs workshop you will learn how to make natural soap. We will make it in traditional way, by hand. Learn from an experienced soap maker, step by step, what is involved in the cold process of making natural soaps. We will create a recipe, discuss the benefits of all natural ingredients that we can use in soaps. Nature is a powerful source of well-being, therefore we use quality plant oils, herbs, clay, essential oils, activated charcoal & minerals. You will learn some tips and craft secrets and obtain a lot of information if you plan to make soaps on your own. No previous experience in making soaps is required. This is a real workshop where you learn to make soaps from natural ingredients. I am passionate about protecting nature from further pollution and enjoying healthy lifestyle. By using natural soaps we make a little contribution to our mother earth and huge contribution to our own health. Learning a new skill is always good but if you can improve a quality of life, it becomes meaningful and unforgettable experience. Natural soap can be a great gift for health conscious people. You will leave this workshop with a couple of ready to use soaps (fully cured), knowledge how to formulate your own soap recipes and ultimately how to make it Other things to note The workshop is for the cold process of making Natural Soaps. • Natural skin care - Workshop
During this 2. 1/2 hrs workshop you will learn about the best natural ingredients that you can use in making healthy skin care products. We will talk about the benefits of natural oils & plants that can be used to improve overall health, particularly powerful for skin treatments. We will create a recipe for facial cream, body butter, skin toner, hair treatment oil & learn how to make natural balms & salves. During the workshop we will have time to make three products. Mother earth facilitates the growth of countless species of plants that contain the secret of essential oils. Since ancient times these have been used in an almost intuitive way. Scientific research has confirmed that they contain a broad spectrum of active ingredients. The most common ways to apply essential oils on our skin is by diluting them in plant based natural oils. When mixed and applied as a cream the active constituents of essential oils and plant carrier oils penetrate our pores. From there they pass through the tiny capillaries under our skin and continue to be incorporated into our circulatory system. The rest of the journey is easy to imagine. You will take home the samples of each product we make. Other things to note Due to many requests for this workshop out of regularly scheduled time, I decided to provide booking for the time convenient for you if it is for 3 people or more. Some notice is required.
