Vacation rentals in River Lyd

What a fabulous house for a family break! So much space that for the 11 of us to spread out in,we never felt over crowded. The house was very well equipped,we could all comfortably sit down to eat. The garden was very safe for the children to run around in and it was such a quiet area. David was very responsive to any query I had. I think we could be back next year!

We were so lucky to find this at such short notice. Perfect location. (Turns out I came here 40 years ago with my parents). Very quiet and safe. Great for families and easy access to all the great beaches on the north coast. The lodge was virtually brand new and has everything you need for self catering. Everyone on the site was friendly. Nice play area and walks around the site especially with a toddler in tow. Highly recommend and we’ve already talked about coming back….. if they’ll have us. 😬

Very patient hosts (we got lost-and Philippa came to get us.) Very generously provisioned with bread, tea, coffee, milk, orange juice and a Cornish cream tea. Scones were delicious! The kitchen had everything needed for cooking at home every night. Beautiful decor, large, clean bathrooms with great water pressure and comfy beds. A lovely pastoral setting down a country road. Highly recommended as a base for exploring Cornwall.

wow, wow great apartment overlooking Fowey River. we had a wonderful stay, apartment has everything you would need and ideal location to visit Polraun and Fowey. we parked in St Saviours Car Park at the top of the village and walked down the very steep windy lane to the apartment. Luggage on wheels is a benefit and good legs! we stayed a long weekend to visit the Eden Project which is about 40 mins drive away. Then we took the ferry boat (£3.20pp) over to Fowey for day which is lovely with some nice shops and restaurants. We ate in the Lugger Bar, Polraun and Haveners, Fowey Quay both meals were great and highly recommend either. there is a small store in village for supplies, coffee shop/bakery and two pubs not much else. we would definitely stay again. Watching the world go by with a glass of wine on the balcony was the highlight of the weekend sat in the sunshine 🌞

Lovely, spacious, and modern property. Plenty of choice for outside seating too. exceeded expectations, more than matched the photos provided. Only advice I will give, which is not anything negative about the Property is be mindful if you have guests who aren't particularly mobile as there are steps up to the property and the driveway is up a fairly steep hill. We did also struggle to get a taxi, as didn't really seem to be all that often or available in this location from what we found and Uber just said it would be a very long wait. The Property itself was fantastic though, plenty of space for all of us. Myself, My Husband, My Sister, her Partner and children plus My Dad came for the weekend & there were three spacious double rooms, two with en suites and then the two singles in another room for My Niece and Nephew, so absolutely perfect for what we needed. Overall, very happy with this property & our Host was very friendly and super quick to reply to any questions. Would stay again!

Beautiful, quiet location. Little Ashton was very comfortable, home from home, with outlooks to the countryside and excellent location to Bude and the surrounding coastal towns . Perfect getaway !! The host Robert gave clear instructions on how to locate the property and thank you for the provisions of milk, bread ,jam etc . Much appreciated!

Our second time at Swallow Parlour and was as fabulous as the first. Beautiful location, peaceful and immaculately presented again. The weather was beautiful so the pretty garden was a joy to use for bbqs and to enjoy the weather. Thank you again, we will definitely be returning a third time! Ashley a fantastic host as ever.
