Vacation rentals in Rocky Mount

The place was clean, the beds were comfy and the view was gorgeous. We enjoyed the kayaks, the bikes and the hot tub during our weekend getaway. We did not use the grill but it would be nice too at sunset. You’d have the view and the sunset while hanging out on the deck and grilling. There’s a large table for everyone to eat at. There are 2 full bathrooms. The kitchen is small but stocked with everything we needed. The coffee maker didn’t work well but we notified the Fred so I’m sure he’ll take care of that for the next guest. It was a cozy place to stay and gather with friends. Fred was very responsive and helpful.

Colby’s place was spacious and accommodating for our family’s lake house vacation. Super clean and comfortable and fully equipped with everything needed. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Rebecca was an amazing hostess. There was an issue and she handled it with kindness as well as professionalism 💜 Now about the space : It was SPECTACULAR! We needed a stop on the way home from Florida & this one appeared to be in our driving direction but the price was comparable to a hotel but had way more space. My Husband couldn’t understand why I booked a barn but sure did appreciate it when we walked in 😆 . Upon arrival, the space smelled so fresh and was very clean. The well lit home was very helpful for arriving at night.We also loved the shower on the first floor ! Honestly, I was so excited for the morning to come just to see the view from the back & it was nothing short of amazing. The sun was piercing through the windows so beautifully. If staying in the area longer, would have really enjoyed being outside with a cup of morning tea taking in that amazing view 🏔️ . Would love to try another stay at this place if ever in Virginia again! Thank you for your world class 😊

Johns is an excellent host. We have stayed at his property at Mariners Landing several times. House is clean and fresh with plenty of space . House is on golf course with accessible pools across the street. Johns property is in a nice quiet area with lots of walking paths. John is very helpful and responsive to any questions. We will be back in May.

We loved staying here. Eclectic style and convenient. Very clean! You could smell clean as soon as you walked in. Had everything you needed. Easy exit instructions. Friendly cat, Dodge, who loved getting pets if you wanted to give them. If you need a firm mattress, though, FYI, this bed is more soft. But other than that, perfect! Would stay again. Thx Peter!

It was a great stay and just what we needed at the time.

Our family enjoyed our too short of a stay over the thanksgiving holiday! This beautiful home provided all the essentials and space we needed to have a beautiful Thanksgiving feast to enjoy with family! The 2 ovens came in handy to heat our meal. We also had a short drive to enjoy hiking at the Smith Mountain Lake State Park. Would be a beautiful place to stay and visit in the warmer months as well.

Vanessa and Elton's place is fabulous! Very clean, well-stocked kitchen, like a home away from home. It is evident that Vanessa is detail oriented as she had clear instructions for all aspects of our stay. The decor of the condo is beautiful, and the bed is comfortable. This was a great Christmas vacation for our family. The home was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. We cooked all of our meals. The kitchen was fully stocked. The beds and the couches are extremely comfortable. I fell asleep on both. The location was beautiful and quiet. I highly recommend this home.
