The old church in Højerup and Stevns lighthouse is 4-4.5 km away. Lovely Rødvig is about 1 km away, with various restaurants, shopping and beach. Store-Heddinge is 6 km away, with shopping and several restaurants.

There are good opportunities for swimming and surfing. There is the possibility to play paddle tennis, rent bicycles and take the train to Køge. The beautiful hiking trail along the coast, "Trampestien" also starts in Rødvig.
