There is a heat pump/AC, WiFi, TV channels. Cozy cottage, centrally located in relation to the mountain. Near Jotunheimen and Rondane. Welcome to Rondane National Park! The cabin is 2 km from Mysusæter, and 2 km from Spranget (the national park starts here). The cabin is located on top of the Rondane mountain plateau with the possibility of both short and long walks. For example, you can walk up to the top Ranglarhø right behind the cabin and get lovely views, walk down to Bridal Damage, or you can walk or bike from the Leap into Rondvassbu and plan your top trip from there. Fully take a hike as a day trip from our cabin and the option to rent a bike on the run.

We live on a small farm with pets and a kitchen garden. On the edge of the courtyard in the courtyard is a single-family home from 1979. The house is family friendly and has great views. It has 5 bedrooms and its own common room. With nature reserves and national parks all around us, it is a good starting point to spend your holiday here. Great hiking terrain, short distance to Grimsdalen a seter valley with free-range livestock and a rich plant and wildlife. It is part of the Tour de Dovre cycle route.

Leiligheten har en romslig stue med store vinduer og balkong som gir deg panoramautsikt utover Gudbrandsdalen. Her kan du slappe av i komfortable sofaer foran peisen etter en dag ute i frisk luft. Den åpne planløsningen inkluderer også et fullt utstyrt kjøkken og andre fasiliteter slik at du kan føle deg som hjemme under hele oppholdet.

Velkommen til Viking-gården Sygard Listad. Her bor du på historisk grunn. Viking-kongen Olav den Hellige bodde her i 1021, for å forberede slaget mot kongen i Gudbrandsdalen. Dette skjedde under kristninga av Norge. På gården finnes den hellige brønnen "Olavskilden". Kjøreavstand til Oslo er 250 km og det samme til Trondheim. Her kan du dra på ski i Hafjell, Kvitfjell, Gålå, nasjonalparken Jotunheimen eller Rondane. Om sommer kan du se Peer Gynt, moskus-safari eller dagstur til Geiranger.

The cottage sits wonderfully close to Mysusæter city centre 910 meters above sea level and direct access to magical Rondane National Park.

Enjoy a quiet break in this unique micro-house down by Glomma's riverbank. Watch the river flow by while you enjoy the peace and quiet of our little house for a night or more. The house is idyllically located by the river Glomma in Alvdal. Just a few steps from the house, you can fish, swim or sit and relax in front of the outdoor fireplace. The area is also a great base for hiking, with many options for nice daytrips. A stay with us is much more than just a place to sleep 🌲☀️🏞️

Mountain cabin next to Rondane National Park

Simple and charming mountain cabin located at the tree line, 1000 meters above sea level. It is only one kilometer from the national park, and it is five kilometers to walk to the Peer Gynt cabin. The cabin has neither running water nor electricity, but it has solar power, which is generally sufficient for charging phones and using lamps. Water is fetched from the stream behind the cabin. There is an outdoor toilet in the outbuilding next to the cabin. The cabin is heated with firewood.

The upper appartment will be closed off but it will not be occupied when the lower apartment is rented. The cabin is relatively close to the Rondane National park with easy access to hikes, both easy and more or less challenging.
