Our little corner of Rosedale, a paradise of beach, bush and wildlife has survived the recent south coast bushfires and the current COVID-19. The tall spotted gums and ironbarks are untouched, as are the rainforest trails, beautiful Nun’s Beach, and Tranquil Bay. Our animals have survived, eight kookaburras, including four fledglings, our echidna and the possum who was munching on the compost citrus. “It's a perfect spot for nature lovers. Everyday we had bird visitors ranging from small red browed finches to various parrots including king parrots, crimson rosellas, lorikeets and cockatoos. There is also a family of friendly kookaburras coming for some roo treats:) The place is great for hikes and strolls down the beach. In Guerilla Bay there are some great spots where you can find yellow tailed black cockatoos. Just round a corner, in Mogo, there is a great little zoo offering encounters with animals. The White rhino encounter is incredible and worth its price. One of the best animial experiences we've ever had. About an hour drive south there is the Eurobodalla National Park where you can see plenty of wallabies and kangaroos and if you are lucky even an emu! Inge and Roc are very friendly and will provide you with great tips about the area.”

“Malua Bay is a beautiful location. The house is perfect for a few days getaway or longer if you have the time. It's light and airy with heaps of room. Unfortunately the area has had a hammering from the recent fires but that had no impact on our very enjoyable stay. The scenery around the coast is incredibly beautiful and the beach is just a short stroll away.”
