Vacation rentals in Rowan County

Once I seen all of the reviews leave 5 stars I thought this place has to be amazing and that it was I did not want to leave this place, I appreciate Jim and Dawn . We did not get a chance to get to everything due to the weather but we enjoyed the thunderstorms and the views from the balcony ! And also thank you to Mr Jim , while driving on those country roads lol I did hit an animal in the road and before I got back on the road for my 3 hour drive Mr Jim came out jacked my car up and got under my car and removed some things that would make my ride home very dangerous and for that I was so grateful ! I cant wait to come out again !

Awesome find! Quiet and relaxing, so much to do right within the home. Perfect for fishing, water sports and relaxing by the fire. Highly recommend!

Nice and responsive hosts! Lots of seating options with great views, well stocked with necessities. Large water filtration in fridge was super nice and supplies available making it easy to start a fire for s’mores!

The pictures of this home does not do justice to what you actually receive. This home is absolutely beautiful, with SO MUCH ROOM. The extra living room was extra helpful with the kids. There was a lot of yard space and the pool was perfect. Easy lake access. Will definitely be renting this again. William was absolutely amazing and answered any questions we had!

We stayed at Carson’s lake home for the last two months while we were transitioning to a new home.. His house was the perfect size for me, my husband and our two fur babies. The house had everything we needed for our longer stay - the bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, and the daybed in the sunroom was a favorite reading spot of mine too. The views of the lake are so serene and beautiful and the fishing from the dock was great! The doggos loved running and playing in the yard too. Carson was a great host and was always available for anything we needed. Janice, the property manager, was fantastic as well. I would definitely recommend “No Obligations” to anyone wanting a relaxing getaway to High Rock Lake. Thank you Carson!

VERY PEACEFUL getaway! The RELAXING atmosphere of sitting on the tree house porch was GREAT ! Close enough to town to find restaurants and supplies.

The best rental house I’ve ever booked. There was nothing missing. I appreciated that they provided basic cooking supplies like oil, salt, pepper, etc and they provided hand soap, dish washing liquid, etc. that many other rentals do not provide. The extra towels for the lake and hot tub were a huge help. If I had to pick one negative to point out to renters, it would be that if you have kids under 3 you will have to watch them very closely with the open stairs. But the rest of house, grounds, furniture, etc are all kid friendly. The house and grounds are beautiful, just as described. The host is very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.

If you are looking for a good place to fish this is one of the best spots so far we came here for my boyfriend Bday and this was the most fish he ever caught we enjoyed it. Grilled food and did roasted marshmallows. The host was very responsive Amber & Her husband. I Didn't have no issue with them as long as you communicate with them and follow the rules everything is good about them. They answered every question If you dont like the bugs then this not the place for you and if you are not good with walking the stairs just know there are steep stairs to the doc but if you love to fish then this is definitely the place to come you will have some on and off moments with the fish but if you patient enough you will have so many fish you can have a fish fry . Caught crapees & catfish. If you want to fish at night there are a few lights provided but I would recommend to bring extra just incase and place them where you going to stand at we fished till 10-11 on some nights We will be Back!
