Vacation rentals with lake access in Ruapehu District Council

Lovely accommodation with fantastic views. We met Michelle briefly and are thrilled with the hospitality. Thanks for cereals, bacon, eggs, chocolate etc! We really enjoyed the view of the lake and were extremely satisfied! Fresh flowers were everywhere, really very lovingly prepared. The terrace was a dream ! Love, Rebekka and Berni

We just had the most restful 10 days The house has an amazing view of the lake it’s peaceful and is equipped with everything you could possibly need and more. The house is very warm and very modern. It is as advertised. We were only 20 minutes from Taupo so when we wanted a bit more action we were not far away. A great stay. We would definitely stay again.

Belinda’s place is absolute amazing, the view is just stunning! Everything is well placed and super tidy! Highly recommended!

Thank you Karen & Peter for a wonderful stay. Kinloch is a safe and fun place to visit. The home is modern, well appointed and is perfect for a family, with separate wing for parents. Good double garage and a restful aspect next to a reserve which is a short walk to the lake. We would fully recommend this property and we would like to return. Karen is a great communicator. We had a great stay during our NZ trip!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Your Space Taupo. The home is spacious and homely. It was clean and the views were beautiful. We enjoyed the spa and our kids loved playing tennis at the courts. We also loved walking around the lake. It is only a short drive into town to enjoy the cafes and restaurants. The hosts were attentive and thoughtful and overall we had a 5 star stay and have recommended it to our friends. Thank you for a lovely holiday

A fabulous place to stay for our group of friends . Jeanette was great to communicate with and the house was perfect with everything and more you needed for a fabulous and comfy stay. Love the check in and check out times makes such a diff to our weekend away . Definitely recommend and will hopefully be back :)

An amazing place to relax with all the mod cons! The host was super attentive and nothing was a problem. Thoroughly recommend this place and would come back again. Absolutely would rate this as a five star plus place to escape to.

Amazing place in an amazing part of the world, hosted by beautiful people. The place was as described, squeaky clean, close to the Taupō township. But not too close so you are away from the hustle and bustle. Lynne’s place has beautiful views of the Great Lake. Was quite helpful with local cultural, nature, and dining recommendations. The place is very relaxing and peaceful with modern amenities and fixtures and a view that is just stunning!

What a beautiful apartment. The views from the lounge and the master bedroom were amazing. Looking straight across Lake Taupo. The kitchen facilities were fantastic with lots of utensils. . Bathrooms were a good size Parking was easy and undercover. Thoroughly recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Nothing will prepare you for how beautiful this luxurious suite is. If tranquility is high on your list, then this is definitely the right choice. Jane and Mark are so very kind. They made so many wonderful suggestions for places to visit and restaurants. The morning breakfast is beyond perfect. Fresh fruit, yogurt and home made bread made us feel so spoiled. It’s a wonder that Jane is not a professional baker. The bread, cookies and cakes she makes are the best we have ever had. The apartment suite is very clean and very well appointed. The bed and linen are very clean and plush. Taking a short walk leads you to the lake or view the lake from the porch outside the bedroom. The Māori rock carvings are right around the edge of the property, easily accessible by a short swim. Step out onto the deck and see the emerald lake by day and the universe of stars by night. All I can say is we will definitely be returning and planning to stay longer. 10 out of 10 super luxury accommodation.

I didn't stay here personally but my best friend did. She said it was amazing. Clean, tidy, great location. She said Jane went above and beyond. I spoke back n forth with Jane when booking the air bnb and she was super helpful.

We had a nice stay at Paul's Aribnb. Instructions were very thorough which made checking in and out very easy. Property is exactly as described.

This place is truly amazing, it has a lot of character, the place is super well maintained and clean. The view is breathtaking, I wish we could have stayed longer :)

Tastefully renovated cottage with lovely wooden floors. Detail in funky crockery and glasses, everything you needed to make your own dinners, great selection of games, loved the detail of a coffee machine and beans to freshy grind. Beautiful and sunny out the front. Great back yard if you had young children to run around in.

Great place real handy location and private with the reserve out the front. Easy access to the lake. Very cosy place. Beds were very comfy
