Thank you for inquiring about my family's home away from home. I hope you'll be as happy as we are spending time so close to many family activities that remain available during all four seasons! There are ice castles, swimming, kayaking, hiking and while skiing and snowboarding is excellent and within a 30 minute drive, there's snowmobile trails at the end of our road that are also great for nature hikes . We are very excited to now be able to offer WiFi at Bear Creek Cabin!

Great location for a White Mountain adventure. It is close to Loon Mountain, Canon Mountain, Waterville Valley ski areas. Great base for your Ice castles, kayaking the pemi, Biking or hiking the White Mountains. Cozy studio with queen sized Murphy bed. There is a 3/4 bath and well equipped kitchen. Have a cup of coffee on the porch and watch the sunrise over the mountains. The Oak walls are locally harvested. Host has allergies so service animals create a health issue

Welcome! Birch Bear Cabin is on the banks of the Baker River and nestled in the White Mountains. Enjoy a romantic retreat, a Girl’s weekend, Fly-fishing with the guys, or Rumney Rocks! How we got our name.... On our property are two stands of white birch trees. And...if you look closely you will find the claw mark on the kitchen cabinet left by a bear looking for a snack. That is how we came to be Birch Bear Cabin!
