It was perfect. All the sleeping was comfortable, it was clean, private and in a pretty area.

Olga is a wonderful and courteous host and her cottage is the best deal in all of Sacramento. Why stay in some crummy hotel when you can stay in a custom 1 bed room cottage complete with wine, fresh fruit, and a beautiful yard? I recommend this great location in the beautiful Fair Oaks neighborhood to anyone looking for a unique and tranquil stay off the beaten path.

I stayed at Olga's guest house for a last-minute vacation with my 3 elementary school-aged children. The area is quiet with lots of rivers, parks, large lots with trees, and winding roads. The town of Fair Oaks has a park that is famous for its roaming chickens. We had a lot of fun walking around in the town, and my kids LOVED the back yard. They were able to feed the chickens through the wire, swing on the swing, and play with the myriad of toys around the place. Olga was very personable, checked us in, gave us free reign of the yard, and showed us everything we needed to know. The guest house (if you can't tell from the pictures) is basically a large room with a pool table in the middle, a kitchen at one end, a sleeper sofa at one side and the fabulous dining nook with the windows PLUS a closet and a bedroom and a bathroom. All windows have blinds except the dining area, which does not. We were welcomed with a friendly, personalized note on the chalkboard (my kids loved that), clear instructions on WiFi and checkout, and a nice bottle of wine. There was a coffee maker, and coffee, filters and accoutrements already there as well as some basic snack items I barely noticed except for thinking they were a nice touch. I like to know about the coffee situation, though. All of the pictures are accurate. The bed was very comfortable, the pillows were more than satisfactory for my picky tastes, and the sleeper sofa was already made into a bed for my kids when we arrived since they knew we were coming and would need it. I tend to be very wordy in my reviews, so I am going to try to stop talking now and just say that in general I like to stay in much larger and completely private spaces, but this had the ambience without the pricetag and I never felt completely crowded.

Olga's cottage was lovely, clean and tasteful. Very quiet to. I slept like a baby! Olga was easy to communicate with, and very pleasant. The town of Fair Oaks was great, too! Thanks for a great experience.

We enjoyed our short stay, to celebrate our anniversary. We're local & just wanted a change of atmosphere from the everyday home chores. This cottage is spacious, has all the comforts, & is an artpiece in itself. The bed is so comfy, it made it tough for us to checkout in timely fashion---should have done 2 nites.

Description was very accurate and Olga was a sensational host! The guest house was amazing and beyond perfect! Garden was beautiful and the deck covered with grape vines was as relaxing as it gets! Also the town of Fair Oaks is a hidden gem! Fair Oaks village (downtown) is 3 min away and we visited antique stores and even had some amazing IPA beer and the craft brew restaurant and pub! The American River also 3 min away and we rented bikes and rode the bike trail! Also on Wednesdays there is a local farmers market and we bought some salmon and scallops and fresh veggies and cooked back the guest house for a peaceful and beyond delicious dinner!! All in all perfect stay! Oh and can't forget the pool table where I beat my poor wife 3 times in a row before she quit.

Top-level hostess. Beautifully decorated room and house; gorgeous back yard with swimming pool. We were even offered access to our own living room separate from Desiree's. She was such an accommodating hostess -- even offered to cook us breakfast. The price for all this was very reasonable -- what a great value.

I felt very welcome and at home in Desiree's house. I loved how Desiree accomodated my needs in her kitchen while I was there. It was easy to store my food and cook what I needed. It was in a great neighborhood and convenient for where I needed to go for my stay in Sacramento. This is definately my "go to" place!

Desirees place was a great stay. I arrived at her house and felt at peace. She lives in a beautiful neighborhood that is close to many restaurants and shops. Her house is immaculate but very warm and cozy. The bed is extremely comfortable. Great place to rest. So glad we stayed here. Will visit again

Our host was extremely sweet and very inviting; making our trip much more relaxing than it would have been in a regular hotel. I was in town to take a DAT test and were able do some last minute late night studying while providing us with coffee. She made my first Airbnb experience beyond amazing. I still can't get over how beautiful her house and back yard is. I will be coming back just as a getaway from Reno someday for sure!

Ben was extremely welcoming when we arrived, and showed us around his lovely guest house. He had plenty of towels for us so we could splash in the pool and relax in the hot tub, and the kitchen is stocked with dishes and coffee - so great! My boyfriend and I just stayed at Sergey's place while we were on vacation in California and we absolutely loved everything about it! Everything there is so beautiful and it was so relaxing the entire time we were there. Sergey was extremely polite and helpful. His cat who liked to find us and get some attention from us once in awhile was super sweet, too! I definitely want to come back the next time we ever travel to California and I highly recommend this place to anyone staying in that area.

This place was an awesome summer stay. Close to a lot of cool activities and the pool was fantastic. The best part of the pool, it was shades more often than not. There is a lot of fruiting trees, the plums were so good. I would definitely stay again.

I felt very safe and comfortable. The neighborhood is very upscale and is wonderful for morning and evening walks. The neighbors are friendly. I thought the cottage was convenient to shopping and not too far from the freeway. The neighborhood is very quiet for a restful nights sleep. I would definitely stay here again!

Everything was great - the cottage was attractive, immaculate, nicely laid out, and very comfortable! Brigitte was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The backyard and pool (a couple steps from our door) were amazing - definitely a place I'd come back to and stay longer to enjoy everything.

I love the location of the cottage. It is in a beautiful rural feeling neighborhood yet conveniently located between two major freeways and shopping. I also love that it's so close to old town Fair Oaks. I will definitely be back for another stay which would be my third. Brigitte is a wonderful host.

Brigitte's place was just as described. Even better actually. The pool was lovely, the place was quiet. the bed was extremely comfortable. Fritz, the dog was friendly without being intrusive. And Brigitte--what a fascinating person.

Brigitte and her daughter Beth have thought of everything. The bedding and towels are fluffy and new. They left snacks and drinks, and shared some of their organic fresh eggs! Delicious! The pool and yard are lovely and relaxing and our 13 year old had a blast on the diving board even if the pool was still brisk! Great location and yet feels very far away from it all.

Sara was really great with communication and was very accommodating to our needs. It was a nice and lovely little space and I can imagine it's a beautiful retreat during the summer months.

I loved staying here during a painting workshop in Fair Oaks. The house is quiet, private, and cozy. Very clean, comfortable bed, full kitchen which made it cheaper to cook in than go out to eat. Sara and James were helpful but not intrusive. Private entrance through the backyard was great. Plenty of hot water and full bathtub. On-street parking but the street is safe and my rental car was fine. I'd come here again, no hesitation.

Sara's pool house was perfect for 2 people. Directions were spot on, check-in/out very easy, great high speed wifi. Bed was comfortable and kitchen had all the essentials. Quiet spot with big trees all around. Really lovely.

Perfect. We could not stop talking about how beautiful this place was. Extremely private in law unit with a big gorgeous yard, nice pool and tall redwood trees. Felt like we were a thousand miles away, but it was close to everything. The unit is super clean and really adorable, big enough for 4+1 child. All supplies we needed were available to us. Our hosts were amazing and helpful whenever we needed anything. My son absolutely loved playing with the cute little ones. TV had all channels plus movie channels and the deck was perfect for lounging with a glass of wine or beer. We even played a little basketball on their private court. PERFECT PERFECT PERFECT.

Sara's home was exactly as described and very private. The check in and out process was easy and we had a wonderful stay.

We stayed here to be close to a wedding we were attending in the area. Rene, our host was out front knee-deep in her plants and poppies when we pulled up. She greeted us with smiles as she and her kitty Bastet showed us to our room. We could tell how much genuine love and care she put into the space. The walls are covered in her lovely paintings, she handpicked a vase wildflowers for our room, and even gifted us handmade soaps. The house smells like the inside of Whole Foods (which is what I wish my own house smelt like). We feel so lucky to find such special places with like-minded people!

Rene was very accommmodating. She made sure our stay was comfortable, informed us of all that we needed at the house, provided very generous snacks, tea/coffee, and water in the room. She accommodated our requests to use the kitchen and open her house to us. The house was beautiful and very nice. The room was very comfortable.

Biba is a wonderful, gracious host. She is a fast communicator and her instructions for accessing the space were easy to remember. The first thing we noticed when we arrived at her home was the fragrance from her landscaping. Intoxicating. The neighborhood is a cul-de-sac and in a safe and quiet part of Fair Oaks. The home was unbelievable awesome. Comfortable bed, big bathroom, and a relaxing table outside in her gardens. The kitchen was awesome. We enjoyed our stay in Biba's AirBnB immensely and hope the next time we are in Fair Oaks we can snag it.

If you are working near Folsom or Ranch Cordova, this is a great location for work travelers. It is close to stores and other necessities. It is setup with a partial kitchen and other amenities that make it feel more like home. It is a nice alternative to always staying in a hotel.

This place feels like a home away from home. Had a great layout. The bed was comfortable. Biba was a wonderful host. Very helpful and accommodating. She even made sure we had creamer and coffee. It was a wonderful stay. Would definitely stay here again and recommend.

The Urban Cabin was an excellent place to stay! It has everything you'll need, well appointed house layout, huge lot with lots of shady outdoor space with beautiful trees, the lawn chairs and bench swing were a plus. We had plenty of space for 6 people. Angelina was friendly and readily available for any questions we had. Highly recommended

We had a wonderful stay at the urban cabin which was walking distance to the Rudolf Steiner College. It was lovely - the front yard with the chairs was perfect for the morning and we really appreciated the air conditioning once the day heated up. Angelina was very easy to communicate with and a wonderful host.

Angelina's place was great. We were there when the weather was mild and had a great time sitting under that big tree in front. In the evening we had wine and cheese for dinner under the tree. In the morning we entertained the kids. The kitchen was not perfectly stocked but had all the essentials for the cooking we planned. The beds were very comfortable. Actually everything was great and we had a wonderful weekend at Angelina's place. Because we were there at a mild time of year we didn't use either the air conditioner or heat. I don't know how it would be in different weather.

The Urban Cabin is a great quiet oasis with easy access to Sacramento and the Sierra foothills. The house is spotless with everything you need and a wonderful front yard and places to relax under the sycamore tree. Communication with Angelina was easy and prompt.

Angelina was a great host. The house was exactly as pictured with such a amazing outdoor space! We stayed in the yard almost the whole time. Angelina contacted me 2 days before our trip and had everything set up for our arrival and the key was there for us to find where she said it would. The location is a 2 minute walk from a nice park that has trail going down to the river. Both the river banks and the park are dog friendly. We all had really great time and I would definitely come back on my next trip !

We loved our stay at this Urban Cabin. Beautiful, comfortable, clean, with everything we needed for a long weekend stay. We particularly liked the giant fenced-in yard, and the bench hanging from the giant oak tree. Next time we come to the area we hope to be able to stay here again!

Angelina was very accommodating with my late check in time and late check out. The house was well equipped with everything you would need. We took advantage of the bbq and swing.

The cabin was exactly what I was looking for and more. The pictures do not do justice for how cute and well decorated this cabin is! You are able to park within the gates of the property which was a great perk & the hot tub was also a great treat! Angelina was very responsive and answered my questions in a very timely manner. We would definitely stay here again and recommend the place for anyone staying in the area.

She was a trouper accommodating my goofy arrival schedule, greeting us with the friendliest of smiles and warm hug. What an awesome place. So much love and care has gone into making the space comfy and welcoming (the photos are great and yet, don't do it justice). Large, spacious room. VERY comfortable bed. Great amenities. We're in the area every year or so on business and will TOTALLY be staying there again. The only thing I wish for that we didn't get with this stay was MORE TIME in the comfort of the home, back-yard and with Diane. Next time we plan to arrive a day early leaving a day later.

Diane is nice and the room is spacious. The bed is comfortable. If it's cold, remember to ask where the space heater is. I was cold because I didn't know! The toilet is downstairs, where the room is, and is shared with someone who rents a room full time. The shower is upstairs, but I didn't use it as I only stayed one night.

Sam was nice and understanding. There was some miscommunications about amenities provided so I had to shorten my stay. She did fully refund me for the days I did not stay there. Sam provided me with toothpaste, toothbrush, and body wash upon arrival, which was thoughtful. The room was nice and clean. The neighborhood was quite and clean. I wouldn't recommend this place for extended stay, unless you don't mind frozen meals or heating up food in the microwave.

Great place and experience! Randy and Cynthia were wonderful hosts. They greeted us when we arrived and showed us the room. The room has its own private entrance through the garage. It's a very spacious room and bathroom. It had everything we needed and then some. It's a close walk to the American River where there ware trails for biking, walking or running. We brought our bikes and enjoyed the trail. We will definitely stay here again next year!

All those looking for a spacious apartment in the quiet surroundings are in good hands with Cynthia and Randy! Bed is big and comfortable! Bathrooms senses all expectations. Space is large enough. Hosts are very nice. For American River just a few steps! Suitable for 1 to 2 persons. Warm recommendation !!!
