A cozy, well equipped guest cabin in beautiful, quiet Arundel. Plenty of outdoor activities available nearby, or you can just sit up on the hill, and enjoy the incredible views while sitting around the campfire. There are many opportunities for recreation in the area - hiking, swimming, canoeing, skiing (of all sorts), snowmobiling, and we have great tennis, badminton and basketball just down the hill.
This small cabin is situated on a beautiful property, with incredible views over Beaven creek and the Rouge river. Eclectic touches abound, from the handmade bed to the funky hobbit door. There is a well equipped kitchenette with all you need to prepare simple meals. I encourage you to enjoy the property and surroundings as much as the cabin itself! For guests looking to bring their four legged family: Well behaved dogs that will stay off our furniture and don't shed heavily are welcome to join you on your stay. We need to be able to remove any and all fur left in the cabin between guests to offer our incoming guests a high standard of clean. Please let us know the type of dog you are bringing in your booking message:)
Here are some of the activities nearby... We are very close to the Sentier du Corridor Aerobique (58 km of multi-use trails). Rent at Canoe Kayak Arundel and explore the waterways and lakes nearby (1 km away), or do some fishing. For road cyclists - we are on the Gran Fondo and Super Fondo routes. Dai Tong Lam Bao Son Buddhist temple is 8km down the Rouge River road and is open to visitors. For alpine skiers we are 30 km from Mont Tremblant, and 35 km from Mont Blanc. For cross country we have our own trail system in the village of Arundel, accessible for a small fee. Hikers will enjoy the Sentiers Montcalm where you can climb Mt LaRose. Climbers will enjoy the 90-100m massif nearby. Arundel Golf and Country club has a beautiful course beside the Rouge River, and is 3 km away. Municipal tennis, badminton and volleyball courts are 1 km away, and have newly updated surfaces. There is a hockey rink during the winter also. We are surrounded by farms, many organic - Morgan Farms, Runaway Creek Farm as well as a farmer's market in Arundel (in season). Terra Perma provides workshops and activities (10 km)
  • Super cabin, clean with a great view. It was very quiet I suggest it to everyone :)

  • My wife and I came for a two night stay in February 2020. We had a great time skiing Mont Blanc, which was one of Ted’s many recommendations. The place was warm and comfortable after a cold day on the slopes. Perfect for a couple that wants to get out of the city for a little retreat. We very much appreciated the wine glasses. We thought we would be drinking our Pinot Noir out of mugs—Nope, Ted had it covered.

    Jonathan2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Ted’s place is charming and cozy! The cabin has some really cool wood touches, it was warm and well-stocked with everything we needed and the landscape surrounding the cabin was absolutely beautiful to wake up to. Ted was really helpful when our vehicle got stuck in the driveway and was quick to show up and help us. He gave us a great suggestion for a hike that we thoroughly enjoyed.

    Emily2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed here for a night. Such a lovely location, private little cabin on the hill with a spot to have a fire. Check in was so easy and Ted was always available for any questions we had. Can't wait to get back to this gem!

  • Perfect place for a weekend getaway! The cabin has all you need and offers a spectacular view/sunset that you can enjoy by the campfire. Ted has a lot of local tips for hiking, canoeing etc. Would definitely recommend!

  • Nancy and Frank were excellent hosts. Nancy gave clear directions ahead of time about a common mix-up with the roads, welcomed us upon our arrival to go over any questions we may have, and was very accommodating & responsive. The cabin is great, very accurate to the photos, and a really beautiful space. Love the string lights that lit the path. We stayed in the middle of winter, but I'd love to come back and utilize the fire pit in the summer! It's a convenient location to Mont-Tremblant, we went there each day of our stay without issue. I would definitely recommend to others and hope to return soon.

    Jenna2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Charming chalet that is very private, surrounded by forest. We especially loved the short distance (10 min by car) to the snowshoe trails of Huberdeau. We hope to be back!

Petit Paradis du Lac is a perfect place to relax & connect with nature. This two story 4 season cottage is situated on crystal clear Otter Lake. Enjoy ice fishing, skating, and our private dock!Enjoy an outdoor BBQ & outside fireplace on our huge deck with beautiful lake views !
The inside space is cozy, charming, and rustic with a touch of modern as you will see on the picture. There is a first bedroom on the first story and a 2nd bedroom on the second story with a deck and big windows with lake view and high ceiling. The kitchen, living room, fireplace is all open concept. Outside, we have a big terasse to relax, cook BBQ, have supper, enjoy our outside firepit, etc. Again with the lake view.
We are 20 minutes from Mont tremblant village, 35 minutes from St-Agathe des Monts and 40 minutes from St Sauveur. We are 2 minutes from Huberdeau and Arundel where you will find a casse-croûte, a grocery shop, liquor store (SAQ), beach, and parks.
  • Quiet, cozy, and fully-equipped chalet to enjoy the nature and relax from busy city lives. Amazing site-seeing with all activities you can expect, like kayaking, BBQ, fire pit. Close to Mont-Tremblant but would suggest staying another night in this chalet rather than going to that crowded tourist attraction. We were a little worried about the cleanliness as it has a lower rating, however it turned out to be neat and tidy. There might be specific corners that needs better vacuum a little but overall we were all satisfied. Would come back next year if possible

  • This is the second time that my sister and I have stayed in Eva’s home and we love it. If you need to clear your mind from work and stress this is the place to be. Nature, the crisp air, the lake, kayaking, cooking and eating meals outside including breakfast with the amazing view is wonderful, different critters including a peregrine falcon is a must see! Also, communicating with Eva is easy peasy and fun! Thank-you so much for sharing your home once again and for an awesome week!!

    Melinda May2019-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • Peace and tranquility! Beautiful view of the lake surrounded by nature and the birds. Kayaking on crystal clear Otter Lake was serene! The best vacation I’ve had since 2013. Eva is an amazing host! I will definitely be back!!

  • Eva's place was wonderful! I stayed 3 nights with my boyfriend and we loved it. Eva gave us all the information we needed before arriving, check in was smooth and the cottage is amazing! The place was clean with everything you need to cook. Having access to the kayaks was such a great bonus, the lake was fun to explore. Little touches when we arrived were greatly appreciated. Location is great, the town is very cute, we found a farm nearby that had some great products we also did a day trip tremblant. Would highly recommend this little paradise amongst the birds!

Don’t forget to bring your own bath towels and to make sure your car has snow tires if you’re traveling up here in the winter. Come enjoy a wonderful getaway in a superb chalet nestled in a beautiful wooded setting surrounded by mountains and overlooking the Rouge river! Less than 1h45 from Montréal, this chalet is perfect for a large/extended family or even a couple families to enjoy together. You can stay and enjoy the chalet, hiking the peaceful woods or canoeing or kayaking on the river, or venture out to golf, ski, or visit any of the many attractions in the greater Mont-Tremblant area!
In the summer you will enjoy hiking the numerous trails that span nearly 100 acres, watching waterfowl in the pond, or canoeing, kayaking, or fishing the Rouge river! Eat outside in the screened-in gazebo and enjoy cooking some marshmallows or s'mores in the outdoor fireplace. Take a picnic and enjoy swimming at the beautiful Lac à la Loutre less than five minutes from the chalet or one of the many other fantastic lakes in the region. In winter, you will enjoy the gorgeous view from inside where it's warm and cozy with an electric fireplace or venture out for some winter hiking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, or sledding. Relax and enjoy the satellite tv or bring your own DVDs or BluRay discs. Enjoy a day of skiing at Mont-Tremblant or Mont Blanc, both within half an hour drive. Nestled in the mountains along the Rouge river between Huberdeau and Brébeuf, if you do decide to leave the chalet you will benefit from scenic drives in every direction! And if you need to restock on food or supplies, there are several small markets within 5-10 minutes of the chalet. There is plenty of space at the chalet for kids to run around as well as books, toys, and games to play with. A crib and high chair are available and there is also a dishwasher, washer, and dryer. The layout is open and great for family time, but you may also enjoy some quiet time in the sun room or in the little window nook looking out toward the pond. The kitchen is well equipped, including a gas stove, microwave, coffeepot, even a small blender and food processor. The three bedrooms on the main floor are spread out, the master bedroom is very spacious with a king bed, there is a small bedroom with a single bed, and there is another nice bedroom on the main floor with a queen bed. The other three bedrooms are upstairs, one with a queen, one with a double, and one with a single bed plus the crib. It is sure everyone will find their special place at Chalet Beau Bois, inside and outside, and that you will create many lasting memories!

  • We had a great stay. The house was sparkling clean, had everything we needed for relaxing and cooking, and was located within an easy drive to Mont Tremblant where we spent the holiday skiing. It was very private and off the beaten path, but also easy to get to and accessible even with 5-8" of snow. There is a grocery store within 15 min that is small but well stocked. I would definitely recommend Alexandra's place to anyone looking to stay in the area.

  • We chose Terra Perma for our first father-daughters trip and it was absolutely joyous. We enjoyed being nested in a pristine environment but equipped with the amenities that made it much more convenient for foreign travellers to experience the Canadian wilderness. The organization's philosophy and permaculture integration especially resonated with us as we trusted that the services offered were given with strong consideration for environmental integrity and promoting sustainable development. We stayed in the Terrasol and Cordwood, both of which was stocked with all the necessary supplies. The private outhouses in both the cabins were very clean. We appreciated the cozy sun-lit Terrasol, which remained sufficiently warm throughout the day. On the other hand, the interior of Cordwood lacked sunlight and the second floor didn't have lighting. There were other guests during our 5-day stay but there was a lot of privacy and space. We especially enjoyed the virgin lake, which was equipped with a paddle boat, canoe, and stand-up board, and the nearby trails. We booked a guided tour which was roughly an hour (could be a little longer for a more extensive sharing) and introduced us to the main areas of the site as well as a visit to the vacant cabins. A very beneficial part of our stay! The farm had abundant produce during our stay, and we were very happy to stock up on fresh seasonal produce (varieties of tomatoes, zucchinis, carrots, beetroots, cucumbers). There are also weekly markets in different towns nearby and a delicious on-site food truck serving authentic Mexican food on Saturdays!

  • Had such an amazing weekend at Terra Sol. Highly recommend to those wanting to get away and enjoy nature. The accommodation was cozy and perfect after a day at the lake and the bed was so comfortable. Sam was a great host and super friendly. The entire staff made us feel welcome. We definitely plan on coming back again soon!

  • A unique winter experience we would recommend to everyone! Our group of 4 + 2 dogs had an amazing time in the cabin as well as around the beautiful property. The hosts were quick to respond to any requests and were super accommodating :) We loved the snowshoe trail and feeling like we were in the middle of nowhere. Hoping to come back in the summer!! :)

  • Evans Farm is a beautiful home in a great location. Our family stayed for a skiing weekend at Tremblant. Very stylish living area and comfortable bedrooms and baths. We loved our visit and hope to return!

  • Fantastic farm house on a beautiful property within 20 minutes of Mont Tremblant. The fireplace is incredible, and Marie was extremely helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had about the house or surrounding activities.

  • The Farmhouse was beautiful! The place was spacious, modern and clean. The property was lovely and we enjoyed exploring on a winter walk. Marie was a lovely host accomodating our requests. Thanks so much, Marie!

  • Beautiful property, easy check in, very responsive host. They left 2 small sleds for our children, and we had plenty of clean towels, pillows, and wood for the fireplace. We left a drip coffee maker we bought and some laundry detergent and other household items as they weren't stocked with those. Wifi was a bit of an issue, but overall, loved the house and the location (very close to town!). A bit sad that Catherine's Creperie was closed for good, but happy to know Charlotte's Bistro was an amazing local place with great food! Thank you again Marie!

    Teresa2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay over Christmas. The home was perfect for our stay and in such a great place to not only enjoy the home and Mt Tremblant but also the surrounding countryside. Marie was a great host, accommodating all our needs without hesitation. Would highly recommend and hope we have the chance to stay again.

    Joanna2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing stay at Evan's Farm. Everything is exactly described in the description and in pictures. The host is amazing and the communication was excellent. We needed a small getaway from the city over the weekend and Evan's Farm is exactly what we were looking for: quaint, quiet, and warm. We had romantic dinners as well as cozy movie nights with the fireplace in the living room area. This farmhouse also has 4 bedrooms - 1 master bedroom with ensuite on the first floor, and another master bedroom with ensuite on the second floor, plus additional 2 smaller rooms (one of them has 2 beds!). There is also a town nearby where you can get all of your groceries and other supplies, about 10 min drive from the house. I would definitely come back again in the future!

    Marie-Claude2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely cabin in the woods. Off the electrical and water grid but we still had cellular access for emergencies. There was a spot down the hill to charge cell phones. The lake is small but cute and we were able to kayak and canoe! Loved the outdoor kitchen and the wood stove!

    Keith2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • The tiny cabin is adorable and the area is gorgeous! Terra Perma is a great place to relax and enjoy nature. We loved swimming in their private lake, and the host Sam was very quick at responding to any questions we had. She even helped save the day by allowing us to pick some fresh basil from their gardens to cook with because we had forgotten ours! Would love to come back some day!

    Kylie2019-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time at Terra Perma. The cabin was just as described and was very clean when we arrived. Everyone was super friendly and there were lots of places to roam on property. Will definitely visit again.

    Sarah2018-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful experience!! I was greeted by the charming and helpful hosts Sam and Elan who guided me to my spectacular cabin. It was just far away enough to give a sense of privacy and tranquility but I was within a short distance from all the activities and services. I spent the next couple days exploring the hiking trails, swimming on the private lake and checking out some of the fascinating on going projects happening on the 800 acre property. I had never visited a permaculture green house, artisinal sugar shack or yoga wellness center prior to my visiting Terra Perma and was happy to take a self guided walking tour! I will definitely return to this fantastic ecotourism resort. My only regret is not having booked a longer stay!

    Karl2017-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • The location is wonderful and the people really friendly.

    Hannah2017-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • This place is a true gem. We loved the trails, the beach, and the cabin. A great place to reflect and recharge. We will be back soon.

    Melissa2017-05-22T00:00:00Z
  • We booked two nights at the Cordwood cabin and are so pleased with our experience. The cabin was beyond expectation! The bed was amazingly comfortable and the bedroom even had its own dresser, table, and chair. There was plenty of room to set up our travel crib too! The downstairs featured a futon, large lovely wood coffee table, a small dining table with chairs, a wood burning stove (which we made use of during the night), and a little kitchenette with gas burner, kettle, plates, bowls, utensils, glasses and cups, cleaning supplies, salt/pepper and other basic herbs & spices, and a large jug of water with pump next to the sink. They even provided a lantern! The cabin was spotless when we arrived and if we could have stayed longer, we would have. The site itself was very well maintained! It had a picnic table with a large umbrella for shade, three wooden benches, a fire pit (with a really cool grill so we could cook over the fire), an outhouse (that might well be the nicest one I've ever used), and outdoor kitchen. The kitchen had a camping grill with two burners that was hooked up to a propane tank. There was also a sink and two large jugs of water for usage. We found an iron skillet and iron pot, plus a big spatula, long fork thingies for roasting marshmallows or hot dogs, and oven mits. There was a trail leading from our site to a nearby beaver dam, which was really nice. We were able to get a brief hike in in-between the baby's naps. We didn't get to explore much because of the kiddo but plan to when he is older. We want to take advantage of the canoes that are available and perhaps take our son to the wonderful playground we saw near our cabin. The lots are far enough apart that you can hardly hear your neighbors so you truly do get peace and quiet. We had more wood, which was included, than we could ever need so the fire pit was always in use. We were told that if we needed any more water or firewood, someone would bring it and though we didn't need assistance, the friendliness of the Terra Perma staff made me believe they would help out in a heartbeat. The cabin looked like they just finished wiring it so I think soon it will have power, how cool! We honestly can't wait to book another visit at the site, we loved it so much! The only negative I have is that the door to the cabin didn't lock. I'm a bit paranoid so I would have loved to have that feature. That said, I felt very safe while we were there. All in all, it was a wonderful weekend and we can't wait to see what else Terra Perma has up its sleeve for the future. They are building more places to stay and adding more activities to the...

There was also a karaoke machine that we enjoyed. The host was great at communicating! We arrived in a snow storm, and the driveway was cleared as soon as possible so we could park right by the house. Very private place with a awesome chalet vibe. We would return again!

  • The perfect getaway! The cozy yurt experience we were looking for. Even though it was snowy out, we stayed warm the whole time -- you do have to stay on top of the fire, but it was no problem, plus the bedding provided kept us VERY warm throughout the night. We did bring an extra sleeping bag, which helped keep us even cozier while we slept. Sam was very helpful and responsive before and during our stay. Great host! The yurt is located in a beautiful forest with scenic trails nearby. Highly recommend! Definitely want to come back in the summer.

    Camille2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful moment in the nature. The space is perfect, right in the middle of a beautiful eco-village. Trails and a somptuous lake near the home. Don't forget it's more about camping that it's about a comfy cottage but it was just perfect for us. You realize that waking up at 3am to get the fire starting again is just a really good experience.

    Julie2019-09-30T00:00:00Z

    Anais2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • The Yurta is super comfortable, it's on a huge deck and on an equally big lot, it's very private and there are all the glamping amenities listed in the ad. We made several walks barefoot in the forest so the trails are beautiful! And the lake is perfect with a great pontoon in the middle and no boat :) In short, we are already planning to return!

Although there are other places to visit in the area, we mostly enjoyed our time on site, walking the trails and kayaking/canoeing on the private lake. We got local produce from the permaculture farm and local meat at other farms nearby - and had fun cooking it deliciously over the fire using the grill/cast iron on site. The staff were lovely and communicative. Would recommend to folks looking for a relaxing retreat.

  • We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Amazing location in the terra-park, with beautiful sceneries. We really like the fireplace and outdoor kitchen and that almost everything was available/thought of for us. I would recommend people to have winter tires and an suv (which we had) if they are renting the cabin because it's pretty adventurous (fun) when trying to get there in heavy snowfall. The only funny thing that happened with us is that the people who slept upstairs where very hot at night compared to the people who slept downstairs who were cold. Other than that, I really recommend you rent this cabin. The price is very fair for what you get. I will be going again forsure in the near future.

  • Nice quiet and natural place. One can recharge. I would go back without a doubt!

  • The cabin is cute, cozy and warm. Very comfortable. It had everything we needed to spend a nice and relaxing vacation, including kitchenware and very comfortable beds. The surroundings are nice and quiet, we liked walking in the trails. We'd definitely love to spend a few days during the summer too!

We were here at -32C and the woodstove kept us so warm and cosy to the point where we had to open the door at times to cool off haha. There's alot of things to do on site, the owners were always just a quick call or text away in case we needed information about the activities, or just about anything. I strongly recommend trying Terra's cabins!

Six Bedrooms...Beautiful, large and yet amazingly cozy lake front cottage. Best kept secret in the Laurentians. Remote and yet only one hour & 30 minutes away from Montreal and 35 minutes from Mont Tremblant. Property will charm you with a combination of comfort and spectacular mountain and lake views. Pet friendly and perfect for large family gatherings. Real country experience.
This is a 5 generational home. Exquisite, spacious, and yet it makes you feel right at home the moment you walk in. Waking up in the morning to the peaceful view of the lake is especially spectacular with either the loon swimming by on a summer's morning or a herd of deer in the winter, running across the frozen lake right up to the house. The large family room adjacent to the dining and kitchen area is great for large family gatherings, cocktails and BBQ's. The house is situated at the end of a medium size lake, with no neighbors on either side. The wrap around balcony is perfect for morning coffee or late afternoon cocktails....or just hang out...the sun shines on it all day long. The bedrooms are large and comfortable and are all uniquely decorated in different country styles. Upstairs is another den where kids can hang out away from the adults. There is also a trampoline in the back of the house. All non motorized boats and toys are available to guests. There is a private beach, with two docks... one off the beach and one in the lake that guests can swim to or paddle to by boat. The lake is tested yearly and is super clean....guests are encouraged to swim and fish. Lake contains bass and trout.
Our closest neighbors are about 400 feet away, and cannot be seen from the house. The lake is motorized, but by being at the tail end, boats don't usually come our way. The house is as quiet and peaceful as you'd like it to be.
  • Very good communication with Diana. Very large house, the 6 bedrooms are large, the living room is gigantic and very comfortable. Our group of 12 had a wonderful holiday time.

    Louise2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • This beautiful large house has a special character where there is a lot of space. Our family of 16 and were quite comfortable. The rooms are large, welcoming with comfortable beds! The cleanliness of the premises is impeccable. If the opportunity arose, I would rebook again! Our host quickly answered our questions. I would highly recommend it to any group who wants to have a great vacation !!!

    Louiselle2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • Another great stay at Diana’s amazing country home. Lifetime memories were made for three generations of our family. We will definitely be back yet again!

    Chris2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Diana rented us her house to celebrate our wedding. It was absolutely perfect! The house is charming, the rooms are all unique and decorated with care. The veranda is huge, making it the perfect place to gather. And what about the small private beach and the lake. It was exactly what we had in mind for our wedding. And the chalet is very well equipped. Thanks again Diana, hoping to celebrate our first birthday there next year! xx

    Véronique2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • This was our second year in a row, and we’ve already booked for next year. The home is warm, comfortable, spacious and perfect for either indoor living (those rainy days) or outdoor. We were a crew of 6 adults and three kids and never really bumped into each other. Beach is wonderful, private and scenic. Beautiful upgrades on the house this year which really brings it up to date. We give this home our highest recommendation! Can’t wait to be back in 2020. Thanks Diana ;)!!

    Kate2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Diana’s house is absolutely amazing. Everything you dream a cottage should be. It is significantly larger than it looks in the pictures. Lots of privacy and space for everyone though our family loved the wrap around porch and private beach the most. Nice touch to have the beach loungers by the beach and also water craft. Lake is very clean. Our family of 14 had a great time: everyone had their own bed if not own room which was nice. Very reasonable rate for everything that is included and the most gracious & generous hostess. There is no cell reception and the wifi is very basic. No streaming movies in case that is a deal breaker for some: as my sister in law “What on earth will we do? Read a book?” We would return in a heartbeat. Thank you Diana for sharing your lovely family home!

    Liza2019-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • Diana was a great host. She quickly responded to my many questions to help me plan our annual family vacation. Her roomy house was perfect for 6 adults & 6 children. We were impressed with this amazing house ( larger than expected). We enjoyed the large living room & dining room with a table to sit everyone and the large comfy bedrooms. The private sandy beach on a quiet lake was enjoyed by all. Grand-kids caught a lot of fish (catch & release of course). The kayak & pedal boat were also enjoyed by all. Diana bought the new water noodles which were a hit with everyone. The large porch was perfect spot to relax. The trampoline was also a great hit with grand-children. Great vacation! Thanks Diana!

On a six acre property is our beautifully restored farmhouse to relax in and appreciate all life has to offer. If you enjoy peaceful surroundings, beautiful scenery, outdoor activities, this is the place for you.
A perfect country home. Over 100 years old, although entirely renovated to reflect its ancient charm with all the luxuries of modern life. The house inspires calm and rest, the view is simply meditative. Kick off your shoes, light a fire, and sip a glass of wine to leave all the stress of the city behind. The area is enchanting with deer, wild turkey, and blue jays dropping by to say hello every so often. Sometimes we even hear the wolves howling far away in the mountain. 15 minutes from Mont Tremblant, 20 minutes from Morin Heights, a ton of activities right at your fingertips, and then again the peace and quiet too. Bring your snowshoes and step right outside to discover our backyard! You will enjoy discovering the different areas to relax on the property. There are lakes, cycling paths, and a beautiful golf course within 3 minutes of the home. Discover the famous Gil's Beefeater restaurant of Arundel for a truly country experience. All visitors say they renew their energy when they visit us, come and enjoy!
The Laurentians are gifted with a pristine nature and are well known for their incredible parks, forests, rivers and numerous lakes. What makes this area so unique is its wide range of activities available throughout all four seasons. Spring- The spring equinox also means it’s sugar shack time once more, a tasty and festive way of underlining the change in temperature, a traditional event to be savoured each year. The time is ripe for a spot of bird-watching or a fishing excursion. Springtime in the Laurentians brings back vivid greenery to the mountains, and the feeling that everything is possible. Summer- During the summer, visitors and nature lovers enjoy taking advantage of the abundance of outdoor activities. The morning might be golf or cycling, with a picnic on the beach at lunchtime, followed by a lazy afternoon swim. Later on, perhaps a tour around the galleries before going to find a terrace from which to enjoy another gorgeous sunset, glass in hand. The Laurentains has blossomed into one of Canada's premier golf destinations over the past two decades. Three of Canada's top 50 golf courses are only a short drive away: Le Maitre (#36), Le Geant (#41), and Le Diable (#42). Autumn- Fall paints itself in a vast tableau of amazing colour- it is North America’s greatest natural show. The days are shorter, just right for quiet ramblings along a hiking trail or perhaps a romantic fall getaway. What a time for enjoying a gastronomic meal, cocooning in a spa or spending a delightful evening beside the hearth. It is also harvest time, as Thanksgiving approaches, just right for picking fruit which has ripened under the hot summer sun. Winter- One day you take that first step in freshly fallen snow, and from that moment, you know you will always have to come back. The gentle silence, the immaculate white shroud, the vivifying air: all invite the explorer out of doors. Whether you hop on a snowmobile, showshoe, or put on your downhill or cross-country skis, the Laurentian region is just the right place for dreaming, even when you are awake! It is home to the famous resort destination Tremblant Ski Resort known for its indisputable charm, picturesque landscape and five-star skiing.
  • It was a winter wonderland. We had a relaxing long weekend with lots of time curled up by the fire and some nice snowshoe hikes with our dogs around the property. Thanks for your hospitality!

  • A perfectly situated location in the peaceful countryside, yet close to towns and activities. The farmhouse is a stylishly casual place to rest and relax, with many thoughtful touches provided by a generous host - we enjoyed our stay very much and would highly recommend it.

    Claire2019-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • Taessa's place is wonderful. It's reclusive, but accessible to Mont Tremblant (15 minute drive). It's spacious and thoughtfully laid-out. There's a firepit in the backyard which was exceptional for stargazing and fire-fly watching. Beware of the mosquitos - we visited during the July long weekend and were eaten alive. Taessa had thoughtfully put out mosquito face masks, and candles, they were helpful in deterring the buggers. We loved the full kitchen and BBQ set-up. We were able to cook delicious meals and enjoy them in front of the fire. Can't wait to visit again!

    Nina2019-07-01T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful place for a get away quiet vacation. Spent a week with a family of 5 in this winter wonderland. Taessa is a great host, very reachable and helpful.

  • Our family of 3 (including 3 month old baby) had a wonderful long weekend at the Farmhouse. It really is the most peaceful setting and the house itself is beautifully rustic chic but so clean and with all the amenities you need. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked and we enjoyed cooking up a storm with the produce we bought from nearby Runaway Creek farm. Thanks again Taessa!

  • We had a great stay at Wendy's cottage between Christmas and New Year's. The view of the lake in winter was incredible. We were unfortunate to have freezing rain both before we arrived and the day we were supposed to leave. Mike was nice enough to come and thoroughly salt the driveway. Although I'd advise extra caution driving up in winter! We enjoyed some great family time - especially as there was no cell service or other internet connection. Looking forward to potentially visiting in the summer!

    Katherine2019-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay at Wendys cottage and it was exactly as described. The kitchen was very well equipped and bed was extremely comfortable. We enjoyed using the kayaks and paddle boat on the quiet lake and beautiful sunsets from the deck. We appreciated the satellite tv and karaoke machine and loved dining outside in the gazebo. There is a great local bakery and Mont Tremblant is close by for a day trip. We didn't meet Wendy but did contact her about a concern which she promptly resolved. We loved our week at Wendy's and highly reccomend her cottage.

    Jennifer2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • Wendy's cottage is very nice. It is very clean, comfortable and well laid out. We had a great time and were delighted to discover the Lake Green by paddle boat and kayak. We were also able to make beautiful walks in the forest. We are pleased!

  • Great cottage on a calm and beautiful lake.

    Brandon2019-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • Wendy’s cottage was everything we’d hoped for in a family weekend getaway! The cottage was tidy and clean with everything we needed, plus lots of extras like life jackets and board games. We came with 4 young children and the space was perfect for them. From the view of the lake from the deck to the use of the pedal boat, the experience was nothing but lovely. Wendy was a great host, excellent communication and gave us a courtesy call upon arrival to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommended!

    Madison2019-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • To All Future Renters, Wendy was an amazing host! She consistently checks in and ensures that we have anything we needed! The place is simple and cozy. The only downside is that we did not have cell phone service but if you're looking to disconnect from the world and spend time with family and friends, it is the perfect spot! We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and a very clean place. I would definitely come back again! Thanks, Brian Pham

  • For a unique family holiday I highly recommend this site which will be filled a weekend or holiday. The Mongolian yurt was really comfortable and clean. There are several activities on the site such as a wellness center, a trail park, a general store with local products ... We spend 2 nights in winter with our 1-year-old daughter. liked a lot too. I want to mention that it is important to bring your own organic soap because the water goes directly to the ground and provide a budget for the wood to buy locally. For nature lovers it's a must. We will return without hesitation.
