  • MaryLou and Joe’s tiny house was a wonderful place to spend a night, very clean and cozy. We stayed on the ground floor on the king trundle bed and were very comfortable. It was quite cold outside but we were toasty warm. We found everything we could ever need in the kitchen including some amazing coffee! We would definitely stay here again.

  • The COOLEST place we have stayed to date! Lisa has a bit of an obsession with tiny homes & this was a great opportunity to find out what it's really like to stay in one. Great design, and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Cosy & warm even when it was -12C outside. Great base for exploring Algonquin Park. Could not recommend more highly- this was an awesome highlight of our road trip!

This lovely home is clean and comfortable for your vacation with a recently renovated basement. It is steps to downtown shops, restaurants, and groceries in one direction; and to the beach, boat launch, and church in the other. There is a BBQ in the large, shaded backyard along with a picnic table and chairs.
The interior is very cozy with a full kitchen both upstairs and down. There are six twin beds in three bedrooms plus a pullout couch that could sleep two more. The living area has hardwood and the bedrooms have laminate flooring to by hypoallergenic.
The street is very quiet. Barry’s Bay is quite small so you can walk everywhere within the town, including to the water. The lake is small so the water gets very warm. Algonquin Park is a 20 minute drive away with some of the best hiking in the province.
  • We had a truly amazing stay! Barry’s Bay is an adorable town that’s very visitor friendly. The lake near the house is stunning. I highly recommend sunset or sunrise. The house has many thoughtful touches that make you feel at home. Very cosy and clean! The hosts are very helpful and gave us great recommendations.

  • Wonderful stay at Liam's place. Quiet. Not far from Algonquin Park and many lakes. Close to all amenities.

    Juliana2019-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time at Barry's Bay, at Liam's. There is what we expect: the beauty of the scenery a few miles from Algonquin Park. And what we discover: the Polish imprint of places and especially the very nice home of Liam and his family. The accommodation is rustic but warm, full of testimonials from people who have lived here.

    Laurence2019-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • The cottge is exactly as described. We only used the upper floor with kitchen and bathroom and living area and our total stay was 3 days. We appreciated the wifi and the location in Barrys Bay on a quiet street with parking and wifi and cooking facilities which served us for our short stay. Although the cottage does not have airconditioning there are ceiling fans and we did not feel the heat during our stay in perfect summer weather we enjoyed during our stay. The lake which is close by has a lovely swimming beach. We wish we had more time to enjoy this lovely area. Liam was excellent with communication and available to answer questions. Thank you so much.

    Barbara2019-07-11T00:00:00Z
  • Our family had a great time. The home was comfy, clean and had all the amenities required for a quick trip. We arrived later than expected and spent most of the day white water rafting, so really spent one night here. But we loved the experience and have nothing to complain about! The host, Liam, was thoughtful and kept us informed of his availability and facilities. He was helpful and accommodated our delay in reaching and our request to check out later. This was my first experience with airb&b and loved the feeling of a home stay much more than hotels! We also met Liam's cutest little daughter !

  • This place was amazing! The pictures dont do it justice. It was big, clean, had everything you would need and was really cozy. Indoor fireplace was awesome as the night got a bit chilly. The beachfront lakeview was beautiful!! Amazing sunsets! You can walk out in the water so far and it’s all sand and only up to your waist. The canoe was a great bonus. We will definitely come back here!!

  • Barry and Carol’s house is such a fantastic place. The whole house is furnished with a great style and they had a lot of special collections. They are very nice and friendly. Even though we accidentally brought some trouble, hey never blame us. And they got a pretty dog. We did chat a lot and had a perfect stay there. Recommend to anyone who is planing trip nearby.

  • Barry and have beautiful, intersting, gorgeously furniture house. You can spend hours looking at their mid century furniture and equipment. We loved the old coffee grinder that they had. We had a great time at their place, which we used as a base for Algonquin hiking. They are the sweetest couple with a lot of interesting stories. And their place is right on the main road. I'm totally going back again!

  • I gave this accommodation full 5 stars. Barry's bay is a small place, usually used as a transit point for visiting Algonquin Park. This accommodation is 6-7 minutes walk from the town centre, the owner of the house lives downstairs, and a particularly friendly dog is always on the porch. The bedroom is small and has heating; breakfast is served in the morning, and eating in a traditional Canadian kitchen is a very different experience for us. The homeowner is very friendly, I also ask Barry Park's hiking trail which is better, it turns out that he recommended it very well, it is worthy of the locals! Although their rooms are not brand new, they have a sense of life; the bathrooms are cold, but considering the price, the price/performance ratio is super high. I really like it and hope to visit later.

  • Carol & Barry are fabulous hosts and their home, a true home away from home. About 40 minute drive to the East gate of Algonquin Park, the house is beautifully renovated and decorated, very well equipped and clean. We were able to cook meals comfortably and they even made fire in the pit in the backyard one evening! We could not have found a better place to reconnect with friends and nature. Thank you!

  • Carol and Barry are very welcoming and their house is very nice (location, decoration, cleanliness). So we had a great time with our little boy at Barry's Bay and visited nearby Algonquin Park. We recommend you without hesitation this bed and breakfast.

Enjoy a 1600 square foot deck on a level waterfront estate with 650 cedar trees providing total privacy. A private dock leads to swimming and a unique pristine sandbar under only 18 inches of water extending 110 feet from your shoreline - 120 feet across your beach for kids to play in. Sit in your lawn chairs and enjoy your feet in the sand, turn up the music, fish or take your boat out. (2) canoes, (3) paddleboards & (4) kayaks provided. (Note: June-Sept minimum 6 Day Bookings.
The unique setting provides the best of country and city living - the feeling of complete seclusion in remote country, with all of the convenience of a medium sized town at your fingertips. Grocery stores, beer and liquor stores, pubs and restaurants are 5 blocks away - a short 1 minute drive or 10 minute walk to town center where you'll find eclectic stores to shop, outdoor gear and numerous tourist activities to book and enjoy. Barry's Bay has an active summer tourism calendar including the Triathlon/Duathlon that takes place a 5 minute walk down the road on the beachfront, July 1 Canada Day celebrations, and several fishing derby's that launch from the town boat launch located a 3 minute walk away. The fishing from the left side of the dock is excellent... off the dock you can catch lake trout, walleye, northern pike, smallmouth, and largemouth bass. You'll be greeted daily by Canada Geese walking the sandbar, a family of ducks, and the slap of beavertails at night (the tail slaps sound like a giant boulder dropping in water!) :)
No neighbours to either side of you on the waterfront... you have over 500 feet of waterfront playground. Popular day trips on the lake include white water rafting (20 kms down the lake); Algonquin Park (30 minutes drive) and several golf courses within 15 minutes drive.
  • Jill’s cottage was excellent for our group of 10 to celebrate New Years! Kitchen and bathrooms were very well stocked and every bedroom even had a TV. There was an abundance of towels for all of us and amenities like a coffee maker and dishwasher in the kitchen were a nice touch. Jacuzzi tub was great and we had ample space for everyone to sleep. The cottage is located right on the lake, so you can skate on it in the winter. If you’re thinking about booking this cottage for a group don’t hesitate!

  • We all like the house very much, really had good time there. The house is as beautiful as the photos, and very very clean. It has a large living room, you can enjoy the lake view through the large floor to ceiling windows. We enjoyed the camp fire in front of the house, you can buy fire wood from the gas station for 20 bucks, which is enough for 2 hours. The house has everything you need, we just feel very convinient and comfortable. We like the house and recommend it.

  • This is a beautiful cottage with all the modern day conveniences. There was plenty of room for everyone and we liked the lay out of the rooms. We enjoyed using the canoe, kayak, and paddle board. The natural waterfront is lovely. We saw beavers swimming back and forth, ducks, loons, Canada Geese, and a Blue Heron. We were disappointed that we couldn’t swim near the dock in front of the cottage. Yes there is a sandbar but this is only good to sit in and cool off as it is very shallow. With all the lily pads and seaweed trees in the deeper water it was not ideal for swimming. Thus, we chose to swim at the public beach which is a short 2 minute walk away. Or we took our boat out on the lake to swim. We swam mostly at the beach during our stay and also played beach volleyball at the volleyball courts. Being so close to the town was very convenient for groceries. There are no coverings on the windows. It would have been nice to have blinds at least on the bedroom windows to block the light in the morning and for added privacy. The host was very prompt with answers to any questions I had and it was an easy check in.

Definitely recommend. Robin was a great host, she started a fire for us and checked in to make everything go smoothly.

  • The view and the privacy are what make this place special. The water access would be especially good for children. Classic cottage vibes inside, no frills but entirely adequate.

  • Spent a weekend away with friends at this cottage, and the pictures do not do it justice. The view is absolutely incredible from every angle. The sandy waterfront was great for spending all day in the water. The cottage itself was clean and has everything you need, although you probably won’t want to spend any time inside with the amazing scenery outside. Thank you for a great stay!

  • Really great place to get away from the city. The place itself was really nice and clean and Amy was great at getting back to messages really quick. Overall a 5/5

    Oana2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time here! This cottage is immaculate, spacious, and thoughtfully decorated with everything you could need! Truly a home away from home. We spent most of our time on the private dock enjoying the surrounding lake which was beautiful, clean, and quiet. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was newly renovated, and there were multiple seating areas around the property that were great for whatever we were feeling. We highly recommend this cottage to anyone who is looking to escape and unwind. Our only wish is that we could have stayed longer!

    Jonathan2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Amy's place was outstanding, the place was impeccable, her communication was excellent, there was nothing left to be desired. Already deciding a time to book for next year. Thanks to Amy for an incredible spot to have out family holiday together.

    Paul2019-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • Amy's cottage was just as described with all the necessities you would need in a cottage and more! The beds are comfy and cottage is well laid out and stocked. The lake and kayaks were definitely a hit! Would definitely love to go back! Amy is a perfect host!

    Dianne2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • My family of 4 stayed for a week at Amy's place and we all agreed that we would stay again. We enjoyed the entire property especially the cottage itself, it feels like a real cottage. We spent lots of time by and in the water, the outdoor space is large with many different seperate sitting areas to sit and relax. Everything we needed was available and or provided. The beds were comfortable, and the cottage was very clean when we arrived. The property and lake are quiet and having the town 10min away is a huge bonus. Amy answered any questions promptly and overall we had a great time.

    James2019-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing time @ Amy's place! Communication was perfect and Amy was kind enough to move our reservation by one day when we had some last-minute travel issues (cousins coming from Poland had their flight delayed by a day). She was also very responsive when a big storm came through the area and the power went out for a little bit. As other reviews have noted, the pictures do not really do this place justice! The little deck overlooking the water was a great spot to have a morning coffee and afternoon Aperol spritz :) and the water is super kid-friendly... this was a big deal for us and our 3-year old, but he/we had an amazing time playing in the water. it is super clean, sand/gravel mix and gradual entry so is perfect for little kids still learning how to swim. We also took full advantage of the kayaks and the beautiful weather we had. The cottage itself is well stocked with everything you could think of. We had a great time and are already looking fwd to renting from Amy again next summer!!!

  • Had an amazing time George's place! Recent reviews by others had worried me but my time was perfect. We had no issues at all. The view was one of the best things to wake up to. Thank you George!

    Sepand2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay at George's place! It's a very classic Canadian lake cottage, not a luxury vacation home - so think rustic, or as George puts it, "a work in progress" but it's progressed enough that we had everything we needed for a great stay and we greatly appreciated it being a pet-friendly rental, so we could bring our dog. As far as the cottage furnishing goes, the mattresses on the three beds in the bedrooms (2 queens, 1 full) seem practically brand new and were quite comfy. The bathroom, while small and snug, had plenty of hot water for showers. And the kitchen is also small, but equipped with all the basics and plenty of pots and pans for cooking for 3-4 guests, plus a grill on the deck with a grilling basics and accessories. I would not recommend the cottage for an extended stay with a large group, because of the single bathroom and small kitchen, but there are additional bunks & a futon if you have additional guests outside of what fits in the three bedrooms. I was also really impressed by the cottage solar system - while it rained most of the first two days we were there, we never ran out of power! George had had showed us how to start up the generator in case we did, and we did limit our light use on those rainy days, but still, the solar panels and battery did the job with just a few bright spots of sun during those first two days of our stay. The lake is lovely - after that first rainy day, we spent most of our time at the cottage on the deck or out on the water. We saw the loons out on the lake several times as well as turtles and frogs. George provides a canoe and rowboat, though we opted to rent a kayak from the outfitters by the Tim Horton's in Barry Bay - they are lovely folks and I highly recommend them! There's also a few inflatables provided, so we had a nice time floating out on the lake and swimming. The cottage is secluded, with only two other houses on the road and probably less than 10 total on the lake, but it's just a very short drive to Barry's Bay, which has two well-stocked grocery stores, an ice cream shop, and, of course Tim Horton's - it's nice to stay somewhere so quiet yet so close to town! My partner and 8-year old daughter did a river rafting trip with the nearby kayak center George mentions in the listing - it's very low-key whitewater (not the class IV-V we are used to) and my daughter absolutely loved it - kids as young as 3 can go on the family raft trips! All-in-all, it makes for a great lake cottage vacation week! Enjoy!

    Martha2018-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • A great cottage! It's not the fanciest cottage in the world, but it has everything you need in a cottage. Very well kept and clean. George's neighbor Tom, was very helpful and was always there when you needed anything. Would definitely recommended this cottage to others and go back again.

    Aaron2017-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • This cottage was awesome! It was super private as there were only 2 or 3 people on the whole lake, and very comfortable. George's neighbour Tom was amazing, and was there to answer any questions we had. He had a fire started for when we got there and got a fire going in the cottage to take the chill off and welcomed us with a bottle of wine! The cottage itself was cozy and had lots of sleeping space. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, dishes, pots, pans, and things like saran wrap and tin foil. And the fire pit was perfect for staying cozy and watching the stars. We only ended up using the generator in the morning/afternoon to cook on the stove and to shower. There are LED lights all over the cottage that work on batteries rather than hydro and they are really bright. Also, the outlets work off of a battery so you don't have to keep the generator on to charge your phone. The lake itself is really quiet. The water stays warm for a long time and the floating dock is a really fun to have a picnic on and jump off. The canoe was in great shape so it was nice to be able to explore the lake a bit. Overall we loved our stay here and have already started talking about coming back next year.

    Caitlin2017-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • A little piece of paradise! This cottage has a lot to offer. Hot and cold running water, fresh clean linens, pots, pans and dishes galore all add to your comfort. The lake is perfect to fish, canoe and swim. If the quiet is a little too much for you, Barry's bay is 7 minutes away. You can attend a Tuesday night jam session at a local pub. There is a farmers market on Fridays that offers everything from candles, samosas, art, syrups, fresh veggies to baked goods. Our greatest pleasure was meeting Tom, the neighbour. He is at your disposal anytime and will drop whatever he's doing in an instant to address any concerns you may have. The area is great for hiking as well and if you need a little more of a challenge, you can always take a short drive to the Madawaska Kanu centre for some kayaking. We plan to return next year! Thanks George and Tom!

    Bri2017-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • George's cottage was perfect for our group of 10. the cottage was in a secluded area with a beautiful view of the lake that we basically had to ourselves. The rooms were comfortable and the backup generator worked perfectly. George and Tom were great hosts - we would definitely love to come back again!

    Holly2017-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • We had an absolutely wonderful, magical stay at George's cottage. The lake is just beautiful, and having access to canoes, a row boat, and a floating dock was the best. George had hired a cleaner and the place was honestly very clean. I think he has made a huge effort to improve the place. No complaints. It's quite private, and that definitely contributed to a wonderful stay as well. George's neighbour Tom was incredibly nice and helpful. We would seriously recommend this place as an off the beaten path gem, with great value. Oh and the sauna! Definitely check out the sauna that uses hot rocks from the fire. So great. The cottage is off the grid but the generator is very easy to use and doesn't need to be on during the night so the sound didn't really bother us at all.

    Shaina2016-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed at George's cottage with my family and our dog. We had an amazing time and very much enjoyed our stay. It is a perfect cottage if you are looking for a private getaway and perfect for dogs to roam freely. George was a great host and quickly addressed any concerns we had. There is also a nearby neighbour (Tom) who manages the property and came by everyday to ensure everything was going well. He provided excellent service and was very accommodating. I would highly recommend this rustic cottage if you are looking for an off grid experience.

Wonderful cabin on a limited access road, with all the basic necessities. The sweet and knowledgeable hostess puts it over the top for an unplugged getaway with charm. Definitely hope to return and relax again some time.

  • We had a wonderful and cozy stay in the cabin for a special birthday weekend. The wood stove kept us nice and cozy while the temperature outside dipped to freezing, and we played Magic in the light of an oil lamp. There are many beautiful hikes in the area, and Pat was very helpful and accommodating. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

  • We had a wonderful time at this cottage. It is so private, you are completely surrounded by nature. The cottage was clean and very comfortable. Upstairs makes you feel like you’re in a treehouse, it was so neat. There is lots to do nearby, Algonquin Park is within an hour, and the little towns are delightful. Lots of forest area around the cottage to explore, as there is a significant amount of property to see. Overall we were very pleased and hope to visit again.

  • The cabin is beautiful and the time spent here was very relaxing. The woods surrounding the cabin are very quiet, and offer quick access to hiking trails. The woodstove was more than adequate to keep the cabin warm, and everything you'd need to prepare/serve a meal was there for use! Definitely recommend and hope to return :)

  • If you don't mind the no hydro this place is perfect. Create such a great atmosphere with the lanterns and candles. The wood stove heats the cabin perfectly without it being too hot. Gaisheda was such a great host and made sure everything we needed was there and fully stocked with wood, cooking equipment and all the amenities. It didn't even feel like we were off the grid. Felt like home!!!

    Dayna2017-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • Staying at Gaisheda's cabin was great! The cabin is cosy and really spacious. The cabin is in the middle of the forest and we enjoyed the atmosphere, barbecuing and the area around which is great for outdoor activities. We were welcomed by friendly and open-minded people who took care of everything we needed checking in on us to make sure nothing's missing to make our stay perfect. The cabin is not easy to access but we were offered help to get our luggage in and out of the cabin. Thanks again!

  • Beautiful spot! Water was lovely and beach front was clear of weeds and rocks. The three-season room ensures you can still enjoy the view and weather if it rains or you’ve had too much sun! Sandra was quick to respond with any questions we had and we had a relaxing time at this place! Kitchen and cottage were equipped with all the amenities we needed for our stay.

  • Loved the place

  • Sandra was a delight to deal with and the place was super cute. Unfortunately a tornado the hit the area the same day we arrived for the weekend (!!), which had a big portion of Northern Ontario completely out of power. Sadly, that made it tough to stick around, so we left earlier than we'd have liked, at no fault of either party, just very bad timing! The house was great and the lake was wonderful. I would definitely come back here again. Sandra was a great communicator and accepted our booking at very short notice. Highly recommend this spot!

  • This place is amazing! So clean and quite! The cottages a spaced out perfectly! We had our own access to the lake. Beth and Randy were so friendly and helpful! They restocked our firewood everyday and we’re always around if we needed anything! We will definitely be back!

  • My girlfriend and I have been coming back to this place for three years and it never disappoints. From the location to the amazing hospitality. We have made this our annual tradition. Look forward to next years visit.

  • Great spot for those seeking a quiet getaway in a beautiful part of the country. Lake was clear, the Cabin was clean and offered every amenity you'd want/need and the private fire pit was the cherry on top. Would highly recommend.

  • Cozy, well-equipped cottage (gas grill on the terrace, fire pit in front of the house) in a beautiful location with private lake access. Very nice and helpful hosts, boats of all kinds at leisure. Half an hour by car from Algonquin Park, shopping at Barry's Bay, 5 minutes away. A little tip: take mosquito repellent with you. ;-)

    Cécile2018-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • We are so glad we ended up going here, the views are incredible! while we were there we had one neighbour that we barely saw so it was super private, and it’s close to everything you need. I recommend hiking the trails at Algonquin too, breath taking views. The place was really clean, and Beth was a great host, definitely recommend staying here. The only downside is the mosquitoes and black flies but you’ll get them everywhere you go at this time of year. And if you want some good food check out Charlie D’s chip truck, great food made by some really nice people.

  • The cottage has a beautiful view of the lake. The apartment is very well equipped. BBQ with a wood fire overlooking the lake is unforgettable! In addition the hosts provide us canoe boats, pedalo to go on the lake! Weekend unforgettable lovers!

The townsite of Barry's Bay offers anything you may need from groceries and liquor to unique gift items. There is a pharmacy in town and the hospital is a short 5 minute drive away should the need arise. As well, Barry's Bay is within driving distance to a number of large city centres which include Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa.
  • Our stay at the cottage was great! The location of the cottage is next to a beautiful lake and the cottage itself is really cozy. Beth and Randy are amazing hosts: very friendly, welcoming and really helpful!

  • Thank you Beth and Randy for a wonderful stay. The cottage was a cozy retreat facing stunning views of the bay. We enjoyed a boost of glorious vistas, cozy campfires, grilled steaks, and a laid back vibe... cottage life .

    Sue2019-06-16T00:00:00Z
  • Clean, cosy and well supplied cottage with beautiful views of the lake. Use of the canoes was a definite bonus. Very friendly and helpful landlords. All in all, a great experience.

  • Excellent location in Barry’s Bay, just a 35 minute drive to Algonquin. The cabins had everything we needed.

  • Lovely, cozy cottage on a quiet lake. Cottage is small but has everything you need. A 5-10 min drive to town which has a well stocked grocery store. Hosts were great, would definetly recommend.

  • Beth & Randy are terrific hosts! The cottage was clean and the lake was great! It’s like a little private resort. Canoes, paddle boats, and kayaks are available for use. Randy even gave us some fishing rods to use. They take great care of all their cottages and landscaping. We will be back for sure! Highly recommend for a weekend get away.

  • Lovely spot on the water. The cottage itself is fine, but the best thing about this place is the environment around the house. You have a large piece of land from which you can enjoy the view over the lake. Here you can take a dip and in addition, the canoes and kayaks are ready to paddle over the lake. There is a large barbecue and there is enough wood ready for a fire in the evening. The place is also a great base for trips to Algonquin Park. It is about a 35-minute drive from the cottage to the East Gate of the park.

    Sander2018-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing. Perfect for us. Mom, dad and two younger kids always had something to do, somewhere to explore or somewhere comfy to relax. We arrived and were treated to warm smiles and a casual, personal welcome. Beth and Randy are really great hosts and even better people. The cottage itself exceeded our expectations for roominess and cleanliness. It's simple, but well stocked with everything we needed for every meal. I won't call our cabin luxiourious, but it's far from a fishing hut. Modern looking, rustic and comfy. The boys loved their stay with a flat screen TV for a rainy day, sandy beach for the afternoon and fun paddle boat, kayak or canoe rides in the morning. We were treated like family and loved everything. When we ventured out it was 5 minutes to Barry's Bay for groceries (Metro or Valuemart), LCBO, beer store, steadmans and even a Tim Hortons. Algonquin was a quick drive for hiking and exploring the various visitor exhibits. It was a great week. Thank you again Beth and Randy!

Comfortable rustic family log cottage/cabin on beautiful Carson Lake 30mins from Algonquin Park's East Gate just outside the village of Barry's Bay, ON. Quiet cabin with sandy beach and lovely views. Perfect for couples or families with small children only. Cottage features one bedroom, main living/kitchen/dining, bathroom w shower, porch bed, BBQ, row boat. Please know this is a clean, small, rustic, comfortable space. No pets please. Relaxing get away- enjoy our family getaway!
Our space is rustic but comfortable. Therefore it is not a 'Muskoka Cottage'. The cabin was originally built in the 50's I believe. Spruce log. There have been some additions. We have recently renovated the bathroom and put in new flooring in the main cabin. There is hot running water, a shower, indoor plumbing etc. I leave everything there from when I am there! There is no phone connection. There is an old TV and DVD player to use for rainy days. YOU can not launch a boat from our beach. Canoes and kayaks OK.
We are a seasonal cottage in between one full time home and one cottage- therefore the property is mostly quiet. The lake is small, so there are not too many boats. We enjoy fishing and paddling.
