Patrizia met us at our arrival, showed us into the private parking. There was a terrific newer styled elevator to take us to the third floor apt. what a treat. She immediately made us feel like home. She went out of her way to take time to show me a terrific restaurant with an incredible patio view. The opening window off the bedroom and the balcony off the kitchen were a wonderful bonus too. She was a perfect host.

Patrizia's apartment was comfortable and clean with easy access to Modena and it's environs. Her apartment offers an actual parking spot that is gated. The apartment is also offers the comfort of an elevator. Patrizia also filled the pantry with provisions for breakfast and snacks. Very good small apartment , Patrizia and her family are very friendly and provided us will all we need for our 2 night stay. Good location to cover Maranello , Modena and Bologna areas.

Patrizia was a fantastic host!! The apartment is in a small town right outside of Bologna, but there are numerous little shops and restaurants on the main streets. The place is very secure (numerous keys/secured elevator) and there are a few nice places to site-see nearby).

Comfortable and simple. Good location in between Modena and Bologna in Bazzano, a charming little town with a green market on Saturdays. Pasticcheria downstairs is good and wonderful to smell in the morning. Patrizia is a gracious host, fridge was stocked with bottled water and other goodies. There during pasqua and her sister baked us an amazing strudel. The family makes amazing balsamico. Small, well appointed kitchen with clothes washer.

Great location! Perfect condo. All kinds of necessities were available. Patrizia had prepared for us fresh fruits, jogurt, bottled water and much more!

Patrizia et son mari sont des hôtes exceptionnels que nous remercions très chaleureusement et sincèrement pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse. Ils produisent un excellent vinaigre balsamique qu'ils nous ont fait déguster avec générosité. De plus le village de Bazzano est vraiment très bien situé pour visiter Modena et Bologne sans oublier la campagne et les villages environnants. Nous y avons passé une semaine, mais il est possible de rester bien plus longtemps si on veut approfondir la visite de cette partie de l'Emilie. Nous recommandons cet appartement sans aucune hésitation.

La casa di Patrizia è esattamente come descritta, c'è tutto il necessario x trascorrere la permanenza nel migliore dei modi. We loved our stay at Stefano's place--it was our favorite out of all the places we stayed in Italy! The location was absolutely beautiful, and Stefano and his wife Marilena were very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. We enjoyed talking with them, touring the property, and seeing all of Stefano's cherry and olive trees. We were served a delicious breakfast on the terrace each morning, including Stefano's homemade jams! They graciously invited us into their home for lunch one day, and we got to learn how to make risotto--one of my favorite memories from the trip. We would definitely stay here again!

From the bottom of our hearts we want to thank Stefano for the loveliest visit in Valsamoggia, it was our first airbnb experience. Such rare generosity and kindness to give us the best experience of his home, which he so obviously loves. The B&B is wonderful, the area is fantastic, genuine and calm. Just what we wanted. We bought some fruits at a close by market, took a walk through the parc to enjoy the views and had dinner at the winery next door, which was one of the better dinners of our whole Italy trip. The breakfast Stefano and his wife will serve on their terass is wonderful with fruits from their garden or areas close by, and we missed it everywhere else we went.

Stefano was the best host we could have asked for. Like others said, he makes fresh jams (breakfast is filling and fantastic), his wife makes delicious little cookies, and he is very accommodating. His place is beautiful and clean, and the little restaurant/vineyard nearby is heralded as one of the best vineyards in the region. He also recommended a restaurant a short drive away which specialized in "down home" cooking from the region. We wouldn't have changed one thing about our stay and highly recommend!

Wow! What a wonderful experience we had at Stefano's home! He welcomed us as though we were the most important people in the world. He sent directions in advance and was waiting for us when we arrived. Our room was spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean. In the morning, Stefano and his wife prepared a wonderful breakfast for us and sat and told us about the area. When we asked about cheese, Stefano immediately offered to take us to a nearby factory and talked to owner into showing us around. Our goal when we left home was to see Italy and how the local people lived. Stefano went out of his way to welcome us as if we had been his best friends for years. I would definitely recommend B&B II Ceraseto to anyone looking for a real Italian experience.

It's a must! Stefano and his wife are wonderfull host. The room was very beautifull, confortable, clean and with lovely view. We will have loved to stay longer. Go at the restaurant near the house, the food is excellent and tast the wine, you will not regret it. Thank you for all the good care.

As of the moment we arrived at Il Ceraseto, Stefano welcomed us with open arms. He gave us a tour around his property and informed us with tips and tricks on the region. They made a delicious breakfast in the morning. When we needed to leave early, they woke up at 4 AM to make us breakfast! Besides the great hospitality, the house is located in a beautiful valley, next to a vineyard. For those who want to explore Emilia-Romagna, I would definitely recommend Stefano's B&B.

Me and my girlfriend have stayed in a couple of AirBnB´s during 3 years time. This stay was the best ever! From we arrived until we left Stefano and his wife took great care of us. We felt like we stayed at relatives! The house, location and view are better than the pictures =) We have stayed in many top ranked hotels around the world, and the quality of the breakfast here was much better than in many 5 star hotels. Very clean house and kitchen. The room and bathroom was excellent! Great that you have the possibility to use the kitchen, and also a fridge. Stefano speaks good English and his wife speaks good French. They are very easy to talk with and with good hearts. Ask them about a country and they have visit it! We highly recommend this place, and will come back in the future for sure!

We loved it!! Stefano and his wife are really nice, helpful and welcoming. The house is new and we had a beautiful room with an amazing view. f you are looking for a relaxing stop in the nature it is the perfect spot. It is also well located as it it is quite near to Bolognia and Modena. We really appreciated the fact that there is a really good restaurant 5 minutes walk from the B&B so you don't have to take the car to have dinner at night. We highly recommend. Many thanks!!

Anna Maria's house is like the last station between earth and paradise. It starts already with the pictures in her advertisement and her description of the area and the atmosphere. That's Italy! It continues with the reality, which topped all expectations. She herself made our stay to a great experience with all the paintings, her culture, her rewarding suggestions for excursions and our conversations. At the end we felt like having shared a friend's household. We are very grateful to have been here. A short stay will never be sufficient - we planned already to return.

The house is an old barn perfectly renovated and nicely furnished. The room has a great view on the mountains and on the landscape. Laura is a great host, she booked a restaurant for us (great choice) and she prepared an amazing breakfast with homemade marmalades (six different kinds!) and homemade bread. We could not ask for more!

Laura was such a beautiful host! All the time we stayed there she took very good care of us. The house and the room was very special and very beautiful. It is very comfortable to stay there. I'm very glad we chose to stay at Laura's place. She's a wonderful woman and we felt very welcome the whole time in Abbazzia. The location is great - on top of the hill in a tiny village with part of medieval castle still intact. Yet it's only 5 min drive up the hill from bigger community, Monteveglio and less than 30 min from Modena and Bologna. There's also a medium priced restaurant just two doors down with very good food. The house is beautiful and the room is very nice. Definitely, feels like home. Of course, there's a gorgeous view out of the window and from the terrace. We liked very much talking with Laura and having breakfast in the morning that included her homemade jams. The rest of the time it felt very private. Sharing the bathroom was no problem at all. All in all, I'm so happy we stayed with Laura. We would like to come back again for longer.

Anna Maria is a great host, the room is really looking like on the pictures and is the dream of everyone. The place, where she lives, is very romantic, a small castle with 8 or 10 houses+church in it. The breakfast is served on her terrace. She collect much informations, bruchures and maps of all cities and landscape arround for her guest. For Bologna she made a wonderfull drawing where is the best parking and go by bus to the citycenter. Anna Maria even is a wonderfull woman, she tells me very much of italian way of life and italian way of burocrazia. Molto grazie + a prossima volta! I wish her all the best and would absolutely highly recommend

Stefano is a great host. The room was as described. The area is very calm, we had a great night sleep. The breakfast was tasty, and the view from the terrace while one's having morning coffee is exceptional. I would highly recommend staying here.

We (my husband and I) had a very good rest at Stefano and Marilena's place. The room was quiet and spotless, the bed very comfortable. Stefano and Marilena are very warm and friendly people. They gave us good tips on Bologna and also about the new highway to Florence. Marilena made really delicious cookies. Too bad we only stayed one night. We will for certain visit the area again and will stay at their place again next time.

If you are looking for a place to calm down and chill out, this is the place to be. Maybe a little bit hard to find, away from civilization, out on the hills, this little retreat let's you forget your every day hassles. Combined with Stefano's cherry jam and travel stories and Marilena's cookies, we had a very pleasant stay.

I am part of a group of Italian and Australian researchers working on a joint editing project. Old Black Balsamic is the ideal place to relax and enjoy the beautiful landscape, amazing architectural design and gorgeous features and furniture of the house; and, let's not forget! great local food and wine. We had no time to visit the amazing historical surroundings but were pampered by Lorena with garden vegetables and pizza. And had an extraordinary, unforgettable, tour of the old, traditionally-made, famous modena balsamic vinegar. I will definitely rank Old Balsamic with a 10-10!!

The old black balsamic B&B is a beautiful and recently renovated house, very stratigically located between Modena and Bologna. It is comfortable, large and clean, and has a fantastig huge garden with pool. Lorena, the host, is very friendly and communicative. The fridge was full, and a bottle of prosecco included ;-) Although we were there inly for 3 nights, we enjoyed it a lot!

This was absolutely one of my best Airbnb experiences. The grounds were gorgeous. The apartment had beautiful modern furnishings with spacious bedrooms and a lovely kitchen (including delicious fixings for breakfast). Lorena was very very friendly and quick to respond to any and all questions. We even got a tour of their balsamic production and got to take some home our self.

Thank you Lorena for being such a wonderful host. We loved our stay in the villa and it was exactly as described if not better! Expect to be well looked after. We arrived to lovely vegetables from the garden, a bottle of Lambrusco and very generous breakfast supplies. We had a tour and lesson in the making of balsamic vinegar and found it fascinating. The house is well appointed with everything you need. It is modern, we'll built and so spacious. Our kids loved playing in the garden with the dogs and were even brave to have a swim. Lorena speaks good English and helped us to make plans in the area and even picked us up from the train after a day exploring in bologna. Stay here. The house is great and so are the hosts. We changed our plans to stay an extra night. There is so much to do in this region.

This place was amazing! The view and the surroundings was so beautiful and we would love to eat breakfast at the terrace every morning with Stefano's homemade jam :) Stefano was very kind and a host beyond expectations! He came to pick us up when we could'nt find the place and was very service-minded with interesting stories to tell. The room is very nice with private bathroom, clean towels and everything like a hotel :)
