If I tried to combine the features of a rustic farmhouse and a stylish apartment, I couldn't achieve what Elisabeth and Philippe have done with their property. It oozes charm while also being so comfortable. My wife and I slept like babies, no doubt due to the wonderful bed and the quiet setting. Our hosts were so very, very kind and made our stay memorable.

She was kind enough to accept us and check us in pretty late in the evening and her place and our room was exactly what we needed after a long drive. The house is located in a quiet village half an hour north of Orleans, which was ideal given our route. The house is on several floors, the bedroom and the adjoining bathroom, recently renovated, are on the top floor. We were able to use the house kitchen. There are very friendly and minimally invasive pets. We had a good stay.

We had a lovely stay at Nicholas’s apartment. It was cosy, very clean and had everything we needed, plus a comfy sofa bed. It was also in a nice quiet area with well lit street lights . I would definitely recommend staying there for a couple of nights when visiting beautiful Orleans.

Far above the usual Airbnb benefits. Small price and yet we were received like royalty: bathroom bags (handkerchief, shower gel, shampoo etc) like at the hotel and cafe await you on your arrival. The room is immaculate, as per the same photos for the bathroom. Key box available (late arrival in our case), individual lock on the door of the rented room. Just for that, it's worth it! But what particularly pleased us was the welcome and accessibility of Cédric: we are not used to renting a room via airbnb but an entire accommodation, hence a concern about our positioning perhaps clumsy. Cédric knew how to put us at ease: very good information and communication. To the point that we would have stayed longer, if only to take advantage of our host! Small clarification: as indicated in the description of the accommodation, there is a parrot, the small Paloma. I had some a priori, rather negative on birds in general: they knew how to make me change my mind (expressive, cuddly and quite discreet).

The flat is a 10-minute walk from the station in a quiet road, very close to all of he sights of Orléans on the top floor, 40 steps. As I knew I would be staying in this attic flat in a heatwave up to 34deg, I requested a fan in advance and it was provided. All the facilities were good and the flat was very clean. The kitchen had tea and coffee provided. For most of the time it was very quiet. I didn’t meet the hosts, a relative let me in, but they were helpful when I messaged. Very good value.
