At 45 minutes, you have Le Château de Guedelon and Saint-Fargeau, Toucy, the picturesque village of Noyer-sur-Serein, Chablis and the house of Colette. 10 minutes away: the city of Joigny offers its Market (Wednesday and Saturday) and its train station.

A stay on an old castle farm: Burgundian, pleasant, comfortable, tasteful but without fuss or cold crowds. The 15th-century castle farm d'Arbonne has a guest/vacation home (gîte) within its walls that accommodates 6 people in summer, 4 in winter (the romantic tower room cannot be used in winter). The entrance to the courtyard is shared, but you have your own cottage, with a tower! There is only a wood-burning stove that you have to maintain yourself.

A few kilometers from Toucy and its market but also not far from Auxerre, the medieval site of Guedelon or the Château de St-Fargeau, it is the perfect place to disconnect for a weekend or more. Former farm of a castle now disappeared, the estate belongs to Régis and Véronique. Lovers of heritage and gardens, they are committed to the restoration of buildings while respecting their history, ecology and the environment.

The Lodge

On the ground floor, a very bright 60 m² lodge, with all modern comforts, in the heart of nature and in a peaceful setting. You can make the most of the hanging bed. Large windows give you a view of the pond with its fountain in summer. Its entirely hand-crafted corded wood wall is exceptionally charming. Separate from my home, the Lodge is set in lush green surroundings.

In the historic center of the village, housed in an old barn, the 50 m2 accommodation has a spa bath and a private and peaceful backyard with views of the trees. 2-minute walk to the bakery and grocery store. Next to the accommodation, the church rings every hour, even at night (for people sensitive to noise, provide earplugs).
