High on a mountain in 103 acres of forest, hiking trails and a wildlife pond, the Eagles Nest--2 room suite, ensuite bathroom, balcony, cupola, and private entrance--overlooks the beautiful Pioneer Valley. Come to rest, create, renew.
A perfect retreat in every season-- & in winter, it's best to drive an AWD vehicle! High on a mountainside in the midst of 103 acres of bird-filled forest, walking/skiing trails and a small pond for wildlife, Patchwork Farm Retreat in Westhampton MA overlooks the beautiful Pioneer Valley. The Eagles Nest is the whole top floor of the main Patchwork Cottage and has its own private entrance. It is a lovely suite of two rooms, plus ensuite bathroom, covered roof-top cupola and private balcony. The suite holds court over a garden, wide terraces and an ancient Ginkgo tree. As necessary, ceiling fans, central air and heat keep the Eagles Nest wonderfully comfortable. The larger of two rooms of Eagles Nest suite is a bed-sitting room with ceiling fan, extra-comfy queen-sized bed, reading chair, walls of windows, and built-in cherry bookshelves. Stairs pull from the ceiling to give access to a covered, lighted cupola above the Eagles Nest. It commands a panoramic view of the Pioneer Valley, Mt. Tom, the Holyoke Range, and Connecticut River. Eagles Nest guests have used the cupola to practice yoga, sleep, read, drink coffee at dawn and share wine with their friends at sunset. The suite's adjoining room has a private outside entrance, extra-comfy single futon bed, small closet, writing desk and chair, cabinets, small refrigerator, water dispenser, microwave, coffee/tea setup, lots of built-in shelves, glasses and dishes, and an elevator to other levels of house. A solid wooden door separates the two rooms for quiet and privacy. Eagles Nest is a perfect writer's or artist's retreat, or personal getaway for an individual, a couple of friends or a family. It's also close to Northampton, Florence and Smith College (15 minutes), Williamsburg's Snow Farm (14 minutes) Amherst (25 minutes) and it's a lovely drive to Tanglewood or Jacob's Pillow (50-60 minutes). The land, its trees and stones, its 4 miles of walking trails and wildlife pond have inspired many guests. For preparing food on your own, Eagles Nest has an electric water kettle, tea bags, Keurig coffee maker supplied with caf & decaf coffee and Cremora; a microwave, water dispenser, small refrigerator, and dishes. In a tiny kitchenette downstairs next to the bathroom, you'll find a sink, extra dishes and a ceramic-lined electric skillet, should you like to cook eggs, grill toast, or sauté veggies for other meals. (We are a vegetarian household and ask that our guests not cook meat in the house—but we supply a small grill for outdoor cooking of whatever you wish). For your convenience, we stock freezer packs ($5 for the use of eight packs during your stay) and bags of ice cubes ($5/bag), plus occasional frozen treats (ice cream sandwiches and fudgcicles being among the favorites). Wifi is available to check your email, though we find that our own personal "hot spots" do a better job of getting wifi signals. Because we are in the wild and wonderful woods, our satellite internet does not allow for streaming, downloading or updating files. It will be a pleasure to welcome you to Patchwork Farm Retreat!
We love the woods, rivers, and lakes, but especially we love the people in these Western MA hill towns. Westhampton is a small town of about 1700 folks, and our new public library is a place of pride and enjoyment for all. Visitors are sure to love the local cafes at Outlook Farm on Rt 66 (10 minutes), and Straw Bale Cafe (7 minutes) on North Road, as well as the historic Blacksmith Museum in the center of town, near the iconic white-spired church. Within four miles, Bread Euphoria serves delicious home-made breads, soups, sandwiches, pastries, full meals and awesome coffee--and free, unlimited WiFi. Restaurants abound in nearby Florence (vegan Evolution Café and Ms. Flo's Diner, are great); and in delicious Northampton (15 minutes).
  • This is a beautiful space with amazing light and easy access to a network of well-maintained trails. Highly recommend.

  • Our stay was really wonderful. The location is great to explore the area and has wonderful, well-marked trails to explore. The view is spectacular. The beds were comfortable, even luxurious. The space was perfectly clean. It would be really perfect for a couple - for two friends it was a little bit awkward, as we hadn't realized that there wasn't a spot for us to sit together (not on a bed). I had understood two bedrooms to mean there were two bedrooms PLUS a room with a couch or something, but it's actually two bedrooms connected. One has a GORGEOUS view and a queen size bed and an arm chair. The other has a fold out small sofa bed. Patricia was an incredible host - I would definitely go back.

  • Beautiful place for a relaxed vacation in almost perfect seclusion. Perfect for anyone looking for a place to focus and/or relax!

  • The Eagle's Nest is a truly magical property. Talk about nature-bathing! The walls of windows invite in tons of natural light - with a perfectly placed bird feeder for hours of bird watching. The trails on the property are maintained with excellent signage! We went for a different hike every day of our stay. It's hard to believe that this spot is so close to the hub of Northampton, because it feels so remote and serene. Check-in and communication were easy and friendly - we were really made to feel at home. We loved this space so much, we are already talking about booking ourselves a weekend there in summer, so we can experience the land in a warmer season. This was an incredible retreat, and we are so grateful for the thoughtful cultivation and open welcome.

  • This place is gorgeous and you will have a pleasant stay.

  • Second time staying at Patchwork Farm. Gorgeous area -- we were lucky enough to arrive after an ice storm so for two days the forest was magically covered in ice. Beautiful! Can't wait to come back again.

  • We had a wonderfully relaxing time, and we loved exploring the trails around the property! The view from our room was amazing, especially at sunrise!

  • I loved my stay at Eagle's nest. It is a beautiful space and enjoyed the well marked trails to walk. Communication was great. I would love to come back again.

Small, rustic cabin in the woods behind our home. The cabin has electricity, but no running water. Drinking and cooking water are provided from a hand pumped container. The cabin is a beautiful place to slow down, connect to nature and one's self. If you love to camp, you will love the cabin. It is the perfect locale for a personal retreat. We are happy to arrange a yoga class at our home studio as well. It is like a tree house, where all are welcome to come, simplify life and just be.
There is a full sized, comfortable bed for sleeping in the cabin, as well as a table for working or having a meal. The cabin has a dry bathroom (no plumbing), there is a wash basin and container of water for handwashing and an antique composting toilet. There is also a woodstove to heat the cabin in the chilly season. The cabin is available May-Dec. Hearty, experienced winter campers may inquire about winter rentals during the ski season. Ample firewood is provided to keep the cabin warm, though the path to the cabin may be harder to navigate if there is snow.
Cummington is a beautiful, rural town; but we are just 30 min from Shelburne Falls and Northampton as well as 45min to 1hr from the many cultural offerings of Berkshire County. There are plenty of nearby forests and parks to hike, bike, swim, fish and canoe. We are 45 min from Zoar Outdoor and Berkshire East for your outdoor adventures. We are just 5 min from the Old Creamery Coop a neighborhood treasure to grab a quick meal or pick up some groceries. There is plenty to do to fill your time while in the hilltowns. We are happy to help you plan your visit.
  • Perfectly clean and simple. Stacey and her family were some of the kindest people I have met yet.

    Sophia2020-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • Stacey's cabin on her family's property is a wonderfully simple and secluded cabin surrounded by tall trees. The wood stove kept things toasty, the airy living space is beautiful and peaceful. The cabin is at the edge of the forest about 100 feet behind the house and garden. The surrounding area is quiet, beautiful--gravel paths up and down wooded hills, orchards, old stone homesteads and weathered barns. The nearby Old Creamery coop is absolutely fantastic. I pulled up to the house and Stacey was out boiling sap from their sugar maples, and she sent me off with a fresh jar of the most rich, dark maple syrup. I came for just one night to get away from the city and real life, and I was very happy.

    Taka2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Stacey and Brian were such AMAZING hosts!!! I really needed that time to get away into nature. The creative journaling class Stacey hosted was perfect. Everything was amazing, I would definitely book this space again!

    Hailey2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • What a beautiful stay in a tranquil spot. The cozy woodstove was just like home. Thank you!

  • A little gem in a Western, Ma backyard. Perfect for a quick getaway for some quiet time.

    Nicole2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • One of the best AirBnB experiences I’ve had. Stacey is a seasoned host and accurately describes what the experience is like. The little wood-burning stove pumps out a ton of heat for warmth and cooking. The composting toilet is easy (and fun) to use. There are a bunch of other minor details about this place that make it perfect for a relaxing weekend away; not least of which are the beautiful, quiet woods that surround the Just Be Cabin. I can’t wait to be back here.

    Ben2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great winter weekend in this cabin. It was plenty warm with the wood stove and on a nice piece of land. We had a little difficulty getting out of the snowy driveway with our prius (no snow tires) but before we even asked for help, Stacey was there with some sand to save us.

    Danielle2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Just Be cabin is a perfect place to step away from the stressors of work and life. Here you can re-discover the peacefulness of living simply and gently on the earth.

  • What a beautiful location and property. The house was extremely clean, well stocked, and a great value. Janna communicated quickly and was a fantastic hostess. We had a great time enjoying the lake and hope to be back soon!

    Kimberly2019-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful space this is! Janna is immediately and pleasantly responsive to all questions or issues. The property is private and the view of the lake is spectacular. We were greeted with a lovely autumnal display on the vast and welcoming screen porch: a vase of fresh flowers, a Day of the Dead succulent planter, and some gourds decorated the table. Janna thoughtfully left dog bowls and dog biscuits to welcome our canine companion. Many items that I did not expect to find were available, such as shampoo/conditioner, laundry detergent, tea and coffee, condiments. There were a variety of pots and pans, utensils, coffee maker, electric kettle, oven/stove, but no microwave, which was only an issue because my arthritic old lady dog needs hot packs warmed up. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was small for the largest among us, which is fairly common in cabins. Our stay was peaceful and enjoyable. I was taking an art class at Snow Farm not 10 minutes away, so it was immensely convenient. The only unintended complication was my reluctance to spend so much time away from this lovely lake home and Janna's unfailing hospitality.

    Chanda2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • This spot is incredibly lovely. The little private beach is perfect for kids to enjoy and adults to sit and relax. We made S'mores at the fire pit and admired the stars from the hammock.

    Judith2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful peaceful spot. This is a great lakeside experience. It's set up so you can easily take out kayaks, canoe, and have a outdoor fire at night. Janna provides everything you need for a great experience. I highly recommend it!

    Julie2019-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • Janna's place is exactly as described and pictured. Everything is a little bit dated but is otherwise very clean and cozy. The outdoor space was beautiful and made better by having access to kayaks, a canoe, and a very comfortable hammock. We greatly enjoyed our stay here.

    Norma2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • The lake house is cozy and charming with plenty of amenities. The lake is a dream with all sorts of water activities available. There's a floating dock, canoes, kayaks, fire pit, hammock. You will come back from this visit completely at one with nature and yourself. The host is always available and very friendly, but gives you your space. Just... Wonderful!

    Danielle2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay! Beautiful view of the pond. Perfect for families too.

    Sheila2019-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • Janna's place is gorgeously sited on the lake, absolutely true to the pictures, and it was a total delight to watch sunrise over the water from the terrace, then kayak quietly out in to the stillness and calm from the private beach. The lake is a manageable size for kids to kayak the entire and explore downriver a bit into the woods. Kids who swim will appreciate the warm summer lake water and floating deck too! Janna was courteous, prompt and helpful with all our enquiries.

The Glow Room at Indian Hollow is a history-rich 1850 post & beam barn, renovated in a light-filled, post modern style. Imagine getting out of your car, opening the screen door to a big porch that overlooks a leaping mountain brook, deep enough to dunk in. Then pass through the strap-hinged front door and into a glowing pine-panelled great room with giant windows, a big wood stove, 3 Chesterfield couches, dining area and kitchen. You see the forest all around you, but you're inside, ready to unwind. Upstairs, the loft features the master bedroom (sleeps 2, queen) and a reading/games room (can sleep 2, futon). Walking into the ell, you pass the bathroom, the 'room with no purpose,' and the guest bedroom (sleeps 2, futon) which opens onto the back deck, where the barbecue is, and the sound of the leaping waters. In summer the lawn is thick and lush, and you are surrounded with pines, birches, maples and mountains. Chauncey Brook forms the east border & offers a serene and ferny welcome; overlooking it, there's a beautiful firepit surrounded by log benches. The southern border is the Dead Branch Brook with its refreshing plunge pools. About a 1/4 mile downstream it joins the East Branch of the Westfield River, a federally-designated 'Wild and Scenic River.' We will provide you with maps and information about the area, which contains extraordinary opportunities for picnicking, fishing, hiking, biking, swimming, x-country skiing, snow-shoeing, photography and painting. And being alone, with someone you want to be alone with. This property is designed to inspire the maximum enjoyment of the 15+ square miles of open space that begins at its doorstep. The Glow Room is a launching pad. To amplify the quiet and help you unplug, there is no internet service (bring DVDs for your laptop). New cell phones work, but will drop out.
  • Beautiful cabin, very relaxing! Highly recommended

    Mieke2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • I'm not sure what was best - the sound of the rushing stream in the woods outside, the warm glow of the wood stove, or the solitude that only comes from total lack of digital connectivity. All were great... and still less than 30 minutes from the excellent food and distractions of Northampton. Robbie's place is exactly as described, and well worth the visit. No complaints, no concerns - we'll definitely be keeping an eye open for other times to return, perhaps with more time available to hike in the nature preserves all around this quiet corner of Massachusetts.

    Remy2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Robbie's place truly is a great way to get away and disconnect. The privacy alone is a reason to stay. it is the last house on the street so all that is behind you is woods. Tons of windows let in a great amount of light and perfect views of the surrounding foliage. Tons of places to walk and nature to see. The sound of the river is all around you as you sit in the great yard with a huge opening to view the stars and clouds. I didn't have a need to use the wood burning stove but I can imagine how cozy it must be in the colder months. Robbie was great to deal with and his hows was beautiful. We will be returning in the future.

    Jonathan2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful space, peaceful. Loved the openness of the home and setting right above a stream. Would love to come back!

    Julia2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Bright, clean space with great stargazing chairs around the fire pit -- we had a great time

    K2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • This is the second time I have visited Robbie’s Glow Room. It is just as magical during a winter snow storm as the beauty of the summer!

    Kyla-Rose2019-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay! No wifi or cell service, so download your maps and come prepared to really disconnect. Very clean, kitchen fully stocked for home cooked meals, and nature’s best just outside your front door. We loved making fires and watching stars at night. I didn’t find the river swimmable (too shallow), but could have been just the section we found? Irregardless, nothing beats to waking up, making coffee, and walking just across the street to sit by the river.

    Katie2018-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • The Glow Room at Indian Hollow is truly a wonderful location and place to stay. As Robbie will tell you "You’ll realize that the best part of the Glow Room is not the Glow Room. It’s the East Branch of the Westfield River." It was a great escape from the hectic city lifestyle to regroup and decompress. The kids and I enjoyed day trips to many local parks and forests along with many other local places to visit. Robbie provided a list of recommendations, but we stumbled across many other sites nearby. Plan to visit again!

Come away from the cities and find peace and serenity in the Hilltowns of Western Massachusetts. We offer a place to get away from it ALL. There is NO wifi, and marginal cell service, but that's the point! Unplug and relax in a serene, safe, and beautiful place. Sit by the firepit and roast S'mores, or cook a big meal with friends and enjoy it on the picnic table, or inside next to a roaring fire. Take a hike along the river, or throw a frisbee and bask in the sun in the meadow.
We've lovingly renovated this 1940s hunter's cabin with modern amenities, like a beautiful open format kitchen with new cabinets and appliances, new bathroom with washer/dryer, bright skylights and new windows, comfy beds and brand new linens. There's a small bunkhouse for overflow guests, with a screened porch for relaxing, and a quaint bedroom with antique spindle (full/double) bed. The Cabin is a magical country getaway with some modern touches, so that living is relaxed and simple, but nevertheless, still rustic. There is NO wifi, NO Cable - only a TV with DVD player (we have a few DVDs; feel free to bring your own.) And yes, cell service is spotty. Give yourself a break from your devices, away from the hustle and bustle of daily life...and be quiet. You will hear and could possibly even see critters like chipmunks, flying squirrels, deer, foxes, turtles, porcupines. Maybe you'll even catch a glimpse of bear, coyote and even bobcat roaming in the fields and forest all around. Bring your fishing pole! The Bronson Brook is a great place to explore and to angle for "brookies" - and less than a mile away is the beautiful Westfield River, with some of the best angling in New England. It's also a birder's paradise: you'll hear and might even see owls, turkey, a variety of kestrels, phoebes, woodpeckers, crows, ravens, warblers, bluebirds, vireos, goldfinches, blue jays, cedar waxwings, quail (and sometimes even merganser and heron in the brook!) It is a place for naturalists who want to experience an unspoiled and natural place. We aim to steward the biodiversity of the beautiful land we live upon, by sharing it peacefully with all our animal neighbors and keeping it undiminished and pristine. If you are looking for spa-like amenities with fancy high-end finishes, air conditioning, no animals, no bugs, cable TV and wifi/internet access - the Cabin is not for you. But, the Cabin IS for you and all those who want to get away to a magical, special place of field, forest and watershed that is beyond the ordinary. (It's kind of like summer camp when you were a kid, but with a nice kitchen, bath and rec area - and without the bunkbeds, teen drama, and grumpy camp counselors.) Book today to enjoy a memorable stay at the Cabin Hideaway!
Chesterfield is one of the Hilltowns of Western Massachusetts - like the Berkshires in many ways, but a little quieter. At the Cabin, you'll have access to the field for stargazing and relaxing, a choice of two firepits on the property, a babbling brook that's perfect for cooling off, and a couple of hiking trails, too. There's a general store in the center of Chesterfield, about 5 minutes away, and an excellent organic food cooperative 10 minutes away in Cummington. The next town over, Worthington, has a convenience and package store, and also boasts a funky, gritty roadhouse bar and grill, Listons, a more refined country restaurant, the Fiddlehead Inn, and Velvet Restaurant at The Worthingon Golf Club. And, by the Autumn, the Hilltowns will have a new brew pub, too - all within 10 minutes of the Cabin!
  • Michelle was a wonderful host, and the cabin was a great place for a cozy winter getaway. A lovely time all around

  • Beautiful property with exceptional open space. A wonderful experience if you enjoy being connected with nature and a cozy cabin environment. Plenty of outdoor space for kids to play and quiet spaces for downtime and relaxation.

    Mark2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay! The cabin was great and we loved hanging out by the brook.

    Karen2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • This place is amazing! I can't stress it enough. When you think of a cabin in the Berkshires this place is exactly what you think of when planning a trip. All the accouterments are provided by Michelle. Such amazing hosts, from the directions to the amenities (including a fireplace and fire pit) and even a washer/dryer to make sure you always have clean clothing! Take a dip in the creek if you are too hot during the summer or turn on the fireplace and snuggle up on the couch when it is winter (or so I would think). About 40 minutes from most of the camps in the area so it's a beautiful scenic drive! One thing that I loved (and you should be aware) is that there is no Verizon cell service in that area. It was great to "Log off" for the evening but you should be aware of this if you are planning on doing work as there is no wifi either (which I actually was amazed that I loved). Overall, 5 stars! I hope to come back in the future when visiting the Berkshires!

    Sean2019-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • This was one of the best mountain getaways we have ever experienced! The hosts James and Michelle are absolutely wonderful and the place was perfect! We loved the peacefulness of the property with the creek echoing tranquility! We will definitely be revisiting this diamond in the woods again soon!

  • What a great experience! The little cabin is very clean and cozy. The wood stove kept us toasty and warm all night. Don't be discouraged by the outhouse toilet - its cleaner than most public restrooms, very easy to use, and sustainable to boot! Marla was a wonderful host and is very passionate about her dogs. We had a blast meeting the pups and hearing all about the races. Her dogs are all lovely and you can just tell they absolutely LOVE the sled dog life. They were so happy and friendly. Marla's handlers and junior handlers were also wonderful. It was such a unique experience and so much fun. If you love dogs, you must go stay with Marla sometime!

    Bonnie2019-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • Bought this experience for my sister for her birthday. She had a great time meeting all the dogs and staying in the cabin.

    Tara2019-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • Such a great stay! Got to pet all the dogs and even took two for a walk. Marla is fantastic and knows all her stuff. Very cool to see how eco friendly the whole place is as well.

    Conner2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • Marla's place is exactly what you should expect after reviewing the listing. No running water or electricity but you have everything you need to get clean, brush your teeth, use the bathroom, etc. And we appreciate how earth friendly they are! We stayed one night, brought a portable charger for our phones and a small cooler with plenty of ice for a few beverages and snacks. There was plenty in the area for breakfast, dinner, etc. What's amazing about this exp. is being disconnected and spending time with the amazing pups. We didn't mind their random howling or barking through the day and night, we really actually enjoyed that. If you love dogs, being outdoors and can get down and dirty this exp. is for you!

  • My fiance and I enjoyed our stay With Marla so much! The cabin was clean, cozy, and just what we were looking for. The cabin is far enough from the surrounding property that we had ample privacy when desired, and the walk to the outhouse was not far, but a good enough distance that any possibility of odors was not an issue(but to be clear, the outhouse is very well maintained and not smelly). The crown jewel of the experience was the ability to meet and be surrounded by the sled dogs. They are award winning racing dogs, but still extremely friendly and lovable. Each has their own personality, but they all loved a good scratch. During the meet and greet, you chose your favorite pup, and get the opportunity to take them for a nice, moderate/light hike to the river. We loved meeting each of them, and their "pack howl" is a beautiful thing to hear. Be aware that they may bark or howl in the night. The surrounding area is full of historic sites, beautiful farm land, and pleasant small towns with very delicious food; all of them very accommodating for people with dietary restrictions such as vegetarian/vegan. I loved bouncing around on the dirt roads off the beaten path in my jeep, then going to the creamery for excellent food and coffee. Driving to the fire tower in the D.A.R. was also a highlight. Having camping experience will make your stay in the cabin more pleasant. Marla is great host, and is extremely passionate about her dogs. We are in awe with the labor she puts in keeping them strong, healthy and in tip top shape for racing. She was easy to talk to, very approachable, and we felt like she became a friend during our stay. She went above and beyond making our weekend worth the trip, we cant wait to visit again.

  • This is a really cool place to stay if you love dogs and don’t mind a more rustic experience. It was great for us, but be warned that there is no electricity or running water in the cabin. That said, the outhouse is clean, the cabin is comfortable, and there is WiFi (although no service) in the property. We happened to come during a heat wave, but the cabin was pretty cool at night and Marla offered us a battery powered fan to use. Just a warning to anyone staying there in the summer—make sure to keep the fan on low, otherwise the battery only lasts a couple of hours and you cannot recharge it in the cabin! We loved meeting all the dogs and taking a couple of them for a walk, and we’re just sad we didn’t get to spend more time hanging out with them since the meeting happens the morning after you arrive at 10am and we had to head out at noon. Marla was a gracious host and had lots of helpful recommendations for places to go in the area to eat, swim, and hike. Pretty much everything matched the pictures on the listing, although we weren’t shown an outdoor shower on our tour. That said, we didn’t ask about it, so that’s on us!

    Lindsey2019-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • Marla was great! Very accommodating despite our very late arrival. Very educational in regards to the sled dogs and living eco friendly.

Peaceful, cabin-esque home in the woods! Great spot to unplug and enjoy the sounds, scents, and feel of the natural world. Ideal for personal or small group retreats (creative, writing, meditation), small family or other reunions, as a basecamp from which to explore the arts, outdoors, and rest of what W Mass offers; or for a quiet pause for a night en route to somewhere else! Everyone welcome! (4-leggeds 7children under age 10 by prior arrangement/approval)
A Place for Peace is a simple yet lovely home on a beautiful piece of property that offers the feel of camping or a cabin, but better appointed than one would expect of either. In the 1900sf house you'll find bright colors mixed with natural wood and lots of windows, creating a welcoming, warm yet vibrant, and cheerful interior. Most of the 16 acres are wooded, and include a walking trail, several designated spots for pitching a tent (should a more rustic experience suit some in your party), and plenty of places to sit or swing or nap or read under the big open sky or tucked in the trees. 2 campfire rings offer opportunities for lovely evenings of fire, story-telling, singing, or just looking at the stars. The property is more wild than manicured, though includes some ornamental grasses, flowers, mowed grass. Guests are welcome to enjoy spacious living area, dining room, campfires, small front and back porches, hammock, and walking trail. Take your bowl of cereal outside to add freshly picked wild blueberries or raspberries, sit by the campfire and watch stars, tell stories, make s'mores, or get some music going. Feel like baking? There's rhubarb growing, and your host loves a good strawberry rhubarb pie! The space itself is quirky, filled with original photo and other work and messaging. You'll make coffee in the clouds, and go to sleep on the leaves (ok, so I got a little carried away painting floors this spring!)
A Place for Peace is 1.5 miles off the main road (it's all up hill to the house, and paved right until the driveway), 3 miles to the center of town (Williamsburg), and 10 miles from Northampton. The road is quiet. Neighbors wave as they walk or drive by one another, let their dogs walk off-leash, and their kids rides bike in the road (there are no sidewalks!). Birds, chipmunk, squirrels, and field mice are regulars in the yard (and yes, sometimes they find their way into the garage, ceiling or house). Racoon, fox, deer, and black bear roam these woods and even the road at dawn and dusk. If you're lucky, you might get to see one or more of them! Cell service is limited (ok for texting but you need to find just the right spot to talk), there's no cable service, and I don't even have a TV. There is internet access and a 'landline,' both pretty reliable. There are ample places for walking right from the property, and other places for walking or paddling just a short drive away.
  • Check out the trails behind the house. No need to go anywhere else!

  • Jill's home was the perfect getaway in the country! The secluded property was serene and welcoming. The comfy living room allowed us to read, make music, play cards, and really enjoy each other's company. And Jill was an extremely gracious and informative host--her welcome was very warm and she made sure all was well for us. Would certainly return for another visit in the future!

  • Jill's place in the woods was so special. You can see all the love and care that goes into the home. It's so close to so many things yet just far enough away that all you hear is the forest. I hope to stay there again next summer!

    Bonnie2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Jill's home is amazing! A gorgeous green oasis. The beds are all comfortable, the table sat us all for some lovely meals, and the atmosphere was so relaxing and fun! Jill gave us excellent recommendations and was all around a delightful human and host! Can't wait to come back!

  • We had a great time at this cabin. The beds were very comfortable, it was really well equipped, and the sun porch was lovely. I’d only add that the next cabin over was close enough that we could hear a bit of neighbor-noise. (That’s probably not a big deal, but if you want something completely isolated, this cabin isn’t that.)

    Ora2019-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay -- comfortable, cozy, convenient, and just far enough off the beaten path to feel like an escape. Thank you!

  • This place was awesome. A fairly isolated cabin. The space was homey and welcoming. Everything was well stocked abs in good working order. Me and my friends had an absolute blast cooking, grilling, making a fire, chilling in the back yard, the front porch, the screen porch, the living room and the dining room. Every area was welcoming and interesting. It was also stocked with coffee and other nice touches. It was a special vacation.

  • My husband, my parents and myself (and our dog!) stayed here for the weekend as we had a wedding nearby. The cabin was very clean, super cute, and had everything we needed! The hosts even left some dog treats and a tennis ball for our pup, and a bottle of champagne for us, which was super thoughtful! It was a quick trip but we’d definitely stay here again.

    Lauren2018-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is the perfect weekend getaway- despite its size, we found it to be plenty of space for a group of 8. Thoughtful touches, such as complimentary snacks and champagne, were much appreciated. The property is gorgeous, and the pond is perfect for an afternoon of sunbathing and frolicking! Thanks again for a great weekend :)

Our place is on a gentle flowing river, close to waterfalls, walks and the Berkshire cultural sites like Tanglewood and Jacobs Pillow . You’ll love our place because of the river, the deck, the hot tub; complete tranquility and a home away from home. Close to some great sites and activities, far enough away to escape. Our place is good for couples, friends and solo adventurers. Snowboarders/Skiers (or snow bunnies) and families can have great fun too! Sit back, relax and enjoy our home!
  • Ahhh, magical... Our stay wasn’t long enough! From cooking dinners in the open kitchen (that has everything you’d need!) with the fire going in the corner, to evenings and morning in the hot tub, to being lulled asleep by the sound of the river at night; did I say magical? Thank you so much Patrick! I’m sure we’ll be back!

  • Great place to get away from it all! The location along the river is perfect, and I enjoyed spending time on the deck and hot tub taking it all in. Communication was very fast and easy, and the place is exactly as described. The neighbours are friendly, and there are some nice trails within walking distance or a short drive. Would happily stay again.

  • We had a wonderful time at Patrick and Fiona’s home! It was impeccably clean, large and comfortable. Lots of old home character. The river is lovely, and the hot tub was highly enjoyable. Just enough personal touches around the house to make it feel homey and give you an idea of the owners adventuresome spirits, without feeling like you’re an intruder. Very pleasant and relaxing place to stay! Carrie & Wade

Come stay in the country in our cute & cozy self-contained tiny trailer (17 feet long). Feedback from guests over 6'1 it's a tight fit in the bed. Trailer has a fridge, stove, microwave, sink, bathroom/shower. The views are amazing. The space is tiny, but adorable. Bed is a full, comfy for two. If you've ever wanted to try tiny house camping, this is your chance! View full starry night when clear. There are 2 dogs and 2 cats on our property, but we have a fenced in yard. Near Civil War cemetery.
A single person or a couple!
The neighborhood is beautiful. There is an artisan cheese farmer next door with fresh raw milk and cheese for sale. The neighbors are quiet and the houses are pretty far apart so there's a lot of privacy. The best part is the Cummington Coop Creamery right down the hill from our house. Yummy organic food, deli, wine, beer, local ice cream and awesome desserts.
  • This was our second time back to Aliza’s and Ric’s and we really love this place. The land is beautiful, casita is so cozy, and Aliza and Ric are wonderful, generous hosts. We shall definitely be back.

    Eva2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Aliza was a great host! She responded quickly and had a wonderfully adorable place ready and waiting for me.

    Dana2019-10-25T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect for one person or two people who are really, really comfortable w each other. Nice touches, water in the fridge, garden tomato’s ... a warm greeting from Aliza. The description is spot on, really enjoyed my all too brief stay.

    Linda2019-10-18T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect setting for peak foliage viewing in the Berkshires! Picked the cute Casita for a quick 2 night getaway and was pleasantly surprised how well it worked out. It was comfy & toasty warm during 2 nights with frost. The carafe of hot coffee was perfect along with picking up some good eats from down the street @ The Creamery, recommended by Aliza. Even after the frost and her recommendation, I was still able to harvest some carrots & greens from her garden. The casita was clean & cozy with flannel sheets and lots of blankets. She was very quick to respond to questions I had being close by, yet the Casita still had plenty of privacy.

    Patrice2019-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • Had an amazing experience staying at this cozy trailer.

    Abhiram2019-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • We loved the Casita! It's in a beautiful setting and is very cozy. I love tiny houses and was just giddy on arrival. The bed was super comfy and we loved watching movies from it. We enjoyed coffee in the garden and the hot shower. The Casita is nearby several super quaint Western Mass towns. Great food, shopping, farms, beautiful vistas, etc, etc. Will be telling all my friends and hopefully returning some day!

    Rebecca2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • The Casita is as described small but efficient. There was a bowl of fresh cherry tomato’s upon enter the trailer. I thought there would be water in the fridge but not there. However, she brought hot water for my tea each morning. I also picked fresh basil, tomatoes, and eggplant that made a delicious dinner. The pictures are very accurate. Overall I would go back and stay. Thoughtful hosts.

    Elaine2019-09-18T00:00:00Z
  • First let me get this out of the way: this place is small. I’m a big guy and, if it had been any smaller it would have been uncomfortable to stay there for me. That said, the spot is beautiful, Aliza and Ric were the perfect mix of attentive and hands-off. They were there for everything I needed but not intrusive. I would certainly recommend the property to someone looking to sneak away.

Large apartment with lots of light. It has a steam shower, modern tub and close to everything in Florence. The electric assisted bike depot will be a 5 min walk coming up in late April or early May! There are 2 Airbnb’s in the building so I ask everyone to be thoughtful of others. Also there are 2 small cats that share the same entrance. They are super sweet.

  • Virginia's place was perfect for our visit to the Northampton MA area. The apartment is light-filled, spacious, and clean -- with everything you would want to enjoy your time there. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well-equipped. The location, Florence, MA, is a charming town with a great diner, lovely vegan restaurant, and excellent used book store. Our group -- two couples -- was happy and comfortable. Virginia was very responsive to our questions and helped with information. We hope to return. Thank you, Virginia

  • Incredible amenities aside, there is just something about Ginny's place that is unlike any other. I guess maybe it's the art and beautiful color in every room? The history evident in the building? The spacious common room? huge windows? In any case, it was a DREAM to spend time there for 2 nights. Quiet yet near all necessities a block away.

    Elena2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Great space with amazing amenities! Would stay here again, and definitely loved the steam shower. Was great to be within walking distance from some awesome spots as well!

I first would want all to know that this cottage is not winterized & is shut down til June 2020. I'm ready to take reservations for next year.... The cottage is quite large. We have a large indoor porch surrounded by large windows, a table that turns into snooker or some fun poker.. Many different chairs and a couch for relaxation or loads of fun.. also a outside porch with picnic table. Large dining room table for eats or board games. Direct tv is available. washer and dryer.
This unique stucco cottage built in 1924 retains its kitch and charm from when it was purchased in the 1960s. Enjoy a relaxed vintage like atmosphere with plenty of space. The large windows and forested views from the dining area give it a secluded feel.. The yard has outdoor picnic tables and a patioed fireplace (wood included) It's a 3 minute walk or you can drive to Windsor Pond for swimming fishing etc. You will find peace here..
You will have your own space. neighbors are short distance away and fantastic people if you like to mingle.
  • Linda was an excellent host, the cottage is really beautiful and made my birthday that much brighter. I really appreciated her tips on where to find the best places to swim and the kindling and wood for the fire pit. Thanks again, Linda!

    Palace2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • Linda`s house is amazing, it is huge, very special and the location is absolutely beautiful. We spent some wonderful days there, swimming in the lake, making bonfires, exploring the beautiful surroundings in the Berkshires and on Mt. Greylock and just relaxing. A very good place and a great host! Thanks!

    Kerstin2019-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • Great stay and Linda is over the top, with great senses of humor.

    Richard2019-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • Good location couple minutes walk to a pond with a beach. 25 minutes to Adams. Quiet, large space. Relaxing getaway

    Chris2019-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • Great house, easy walk to the lake. Everything we needed and more

    Jennifer2019-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed three nights at Linda’s cottage, and after a little trouble finding the place, settled right in. The cottage is something of a 1960-1970’s time capsule, with a lot of the decor from that time. It’s a totally unique property and we had a blast staying there. A little musty when we arrived, but opening windows and putting on a fan took care of it. We swam every day in Windsor Pond and used the cottage as a home base for traveling to/from MassMOCA. Beautiful, scenic drives. Linda was incredibly hospitable, accommodating and open to feedback.

Small private cottage on large property. Recently renovated and very cute and cozy. Full bed and pull out sofa. Will accommodate four if needed. Comfortable sitting area with view of back field and gardens. Close to town, park, bike path.
Cozy and comfortable. The cottage, though small, has more room than one would think to relax alone or with others. There are two closets, one in the hallway, the other in the bedroom. A small sofa which doubles as a pull out bed if needed. A full size bed in the bedroom. Bathroom includes sink and shower. Kitchen includes refrigerator, washer/dryer, stove/oven, microwave, blender, sink. Sliding glass doors look out to patio and field/gardens. Cable TV. Air conditioner. Radiant floor heating.
Northampton has a lot going on! Great restaurants, music venues, art galleries, museums, and special events at the many surrounding colleges and the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. Look Park is just up the road or take your bike there and elsewhere on the many local bikes trails.
  • We stayed at "Cozy Cottage on small intown farm" for an entire month. The cottage was perfectly equipped with all that we needed, with a wonderful view to the landscape and sky. Easy access to local highlights, yet the place was quiet. Win and Ann were the most amazing hosts, we hope we can stay there again.

    Andras2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • This little cottage is a sweet retreat while still handy to everything the area has to offer. Win and Anne are lovely hosts. A traveler couldn’t do better!

  • Wonderful spot! Beautiful property, great hospitality, excellent amenities, and super quiet. Would definitely stay again!

    Sarah2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Win and Anne's cottage is a delightful place to stay! It's compact, but well-designed such that it's more spacious than it might seem in the website photos. The cottage is tastefully appointed, has all the basic necessities, and is quite clean. The chickens in the yard are charming. Win and Anne's hospitality was a perfect blend of warm and respectful of privacy. And they made the stay extra special with a big pitcher of fresh flowers and homemade pumpkin bread on the table upon arrival -- a great treat! I'm hoping to be able to spend time at this cottage again next year; you would be lucky to be able to as well.

    Holly And David2019-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • As advertised. Clean. Location is great. Very hospitable hosts.

    David2019-10-11T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful, cozy spot. Very close to Smith College and downtown Northampton.

    Nahid2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay was absolutely incredible. The cottage is cozy, comfy and adorable. Perfect trip for me and my fiancé to celebrate our recent engagement. There was a delicious homemade loaf of pumpkin spice bread made for us and we were even lucky to be greeted by the hens some days. This was the perfect Fall trip away from our normal busy NYC life. I would recommend Anne & Winn's place to anyone. Their place is less than 2 miles (about a 5 minute car ride) to the cute town of Northampton. We really enjoyed our long weekend at the cottage. Thanks again!

We offer a cozy, comfortable, studio apartment located in the heart of the Pioneer Valley right on the bike path, a walk to Look Park and easy access to hiking. We are a 10 minute drive to downtown Northampton with lots of great restaurants and music. Our proximity to Snow Farm, Smith and the other area colleges makes this an ideal overnight spot for parents in town for a brief visit, people attending area workshops and classes or for those looking to stay longer and explore the area.
I am a carpenter and have been lovingly re-crafting our beautiful old house since my partner and I purchased it some 20 odd years ago. I have literally uncovered some of it's original aesthetic and charm, while improving and modernizing its infrastructure. Our studio rental sits under the same roof as our home and has its own private front and back entrances, both of which offer a place to sit and relax. Recently renovated, the studio is outfitted with handsome custom built cabinets and counters and a new bathroom. The kitchen, with its dorm size refrigerator, is fully equipped and has a sweet dining corner. The remainder of the space is taken up with a comfortable double bed and sitting area where you can kick back with a good book or just unwind for a spell.
Though now almost exclusively residential, Leeds was once a booming mill town with shops, a hotel and several taverns. The Mill River is right across the street from the house. The history here is rich and we live along what is known as the Mill River Greenway. Around the neighborhood and along the bike path you will discover signs that commemorate and tell some of the story of our area. You can follow the African American Heritage Trail which is just a short drive or bike ride away in Florence, MA. Among the places on the walking tour are the former homes of Sojourner Truth and Frederick Douglas. They both lived in Florence in the 1800's where there was an enclave of abolitionists. A number of whom were self-emancipated former slaves. World class theater and dance are not far off. Jacobs Pillow Dance Festival, Tanglewood, Shakespeare and Company, Williamstown Theater Festival and Chester Theater are all within a comfortable driving distance for an afternoon or evening jaunt. As is Mass MoCA if you want to experience some art. If you enjoy cross country skiing, you can drive 45 minutes to Notchview, a wonderful spot in Windsor MA.
  • This was one of our favorite Airbnb experiences so far. Karen’s studio is beautiful with many thoughtful touches (granola!) and the location was perfect for our trip to Northampton and the Berkshires. Great communication, too! We’d absolutely stay again.

    Rebecca2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • This is just a terrific studio apartment. Quiet, pristine, and beautiful.

    Caroline2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Great little studio space with everything you need - full size bed, stove/oven, microwave, sink, coffee maker, etc. Very clean, space is well put together, and very quiet. One of my favorite Airbnb's I've stayed at anywhere. Perfect for a single person or couple.

    Kayla2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • This was my second stay at Karen's place. Once again I enjoyed the beauty and tranquility of the studio and its setting in Leeds. Karen has thoughtfully designed the space, the decor, and all the amenities. A pleasure to be there.

    Marilyn2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Karen’s studio is a wonderful little spot! The apartment was bright and sunny with lots of natural light and very clean. We loved the close proximity to Northampton and Florence. And we really enjoyed all the creative touches Karen has added to the place! Thanks for everything!

    Kelsey2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Not only was Karen’s place stylish and simple, we were lucky enough to get to meet and chat with her for a few minutes when we arrived. She made us feel so comfortable and was happy to answer all of our questions about the awesome construction she had done herself on this great space. When we asked if we could stay for an additional night she responded quickly and positively, and her communication was always timely. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

    Anna2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Karen's place was perfect for our needs. She was super responsive and addressed our questions. The ease of bringing luggage in and out was a benefit. The shower was strong and hot. The bed is cozy with loads of blankets and flannel sheets for these cold winter nights. The temperature was perfect inside. We were able to have breakfast each morning with coffee provided by Karen. If you are a short term renter as we were, the price was quite reasonable and I imagine for a long term stay, this apartment would be more than adequate. Thank you for a great stay Karen.

    Nancy2020-01-17T00:00:00Z
  • Karen has created a fabulous little studio perfect for 1 or 2 people in the lovely little village of Leeds. Close to the hilltowns for foliage viewing, and close to downtown for nights out or vacations to the region, this place works for a number of types of stays. The kitchen is beautifully renovated and her carpentry skills are evident. I would definitely recommend her space to others!

The Blue Room and shared full bath are upstairs, and guests are welcome to spend time in the kitchen/living room, or explore the house. We are in Ward 3 of Northampton, close to the historic cemetery. A quiet, family-oriented, old-Northampton part of town, about a seven minute walk to the center, and about the same distance to the fairgrounds.
  • Wonderful communication and hospitality

    Sarah2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • A great place to stay while attending events in town. Easy walk to music venues. It's a 200+ year old house with some quirks, but the room is very comfortable and Athena is a great host. Her cat, Blue is a sweetie who loves attention. Hope to come back sometime.

  • Funky old home circa 1675 or so. Very cool. Super convenient to downtown.

  • Cool house!! Great price for our quick trip!! Wish we could have stayed longer! Loved that our dog could join us!!

    Veronica2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • I loved staying in the Blue Room in Athena's home. I felt welcome, safe and cared for. I appreciated the feeling of privacy and rest that the private room provided. The room is exactly as described and as it appears in Athena's photos. The bed and pillows are comfortable, the sunlight in the room is beautiful, the shared bathroom is fine. Parking is no stress, as you just park in back of the house. A restaurant and a good coffee shop are right around the corner, a two-minute walk away and it's an easy 10-minute walk to the main streets of town. Athena is lovely, friendly, positive, relaxed, welcoming, kind. I would stay with her again.

    Caroline2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Athena is warm and communicative! Check-in was a breeze and her home is extremely conveniently located to downtown Northampton. I'll definitely be back!

    Christine2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Athena’s place is such a great home with wonderful touches of classic NE living. She’s got a convenient location to the surrounding shops and eateries, so staying a few days for work was pleasant experience. I highly recommend staying here, and have already confirmed times to go back again and stay. Enjoy yours!

    Adam2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • Athena's house is magical! It is just around the corner from Joe's Pizza House, which my son loves to visit. It is a charming house, very comfortable and clean and Athena is the best host. We keep returning to her every time we visit Northampton.

The bedroom and bathroom were incredibly clean and tidy and we had access to all the amenities that we could have possibly needed. We had a restful night’s sleep as the bed and pillows were comfortable and the house is located in a peaceful setting right by a river. We would love to return!

  • Our third stay at Jim and Michelle’s home was wonderful. What more do we need to write? Great hosts, great home, great hospitality. We have stayed with several “super hosts”. Jim and Michelle are the best so far. AirBnB needs an additional category to classify their very best hosts. We nominate Jim and Michelle to be the first inductees.

  • Very nice to get to know such beautiful people. Beautiful property. Lovely home.

    Brian2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Jim and Michelle's property was beyond our expectations. Our room was comfortable and well situated. The bed invited sleep keeping us warm and cozy. The facilities were sparkling clean. The Coffee, Croissants and Fruit every morning gave us the start we needed each day (Thurs - Mon). We loved their 4 legged family who were well behaved and loved to be scratched. The outdoor property was like a dream come true. Explore! Our hosts were welcoming and eager to please without being intrusive. Their knowledge of the area is highly reliable and welcomed. We highly recommend Jim and Michelle's AirBnB lodging and their friendly disposition.

  • If you are looking for Shangri La in the Berkshires, this is it. Beautiful home, uber comfortable with warm and charming hosts. Jim and Michelle are great! The property and surrounding countryside are lovely and it’s so quiet you cannot help but relax. A great jumping off point for so many places of interest in the area. Jim and Michelle are a wonderful resource for recommendations on both places of interest as well as restaurants. All in all a great experience.

    Kiril2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • My third visit but definitely not my last! This is the most relaxing, beautiful place. Jim and Michele are perfect hosts. You won’t find a better place to just kick back and unwind! The golf course nearby is well-groomed and the chef in their restaurant is very creative! Worth a visit for sure.

    Jill2019-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • Jim and Michele welcomed and treated us like personal guests, opening up their entire beautiful home in the most sincere way. They are warm and considerate, and helpful with tips about the area. As for the location, the setting is blissfully bucolic and the major towns are not far. And if you're starved for stars, Jim will turn off the flood lights so you can see them shining so clearly and brightly in the vast unobstructed sky above the house. We couldn't have asked for a better stay.

Relax in our bright, very spacious, and quiet loft, on six open acres. Lounge on the stone terrace, under the stars, by a cozy fire, near the garden. 35 min to Northampton, 35 min to MassMoca, 10 min to Berk. East. Pellet stove, Fiber Optic Wi-Fi, Fubo streaming (via Amazon Fire Stick), and cell coverage. Fully outfitted kitchen, granola, milk, beverages. Two hybrid bikes available for use. There are 3, 5-ft long skylights, and a cathedral ceiling= much natural light!
The apartment has a queen sized bed, coffee maker (with coffee provided), plenty of pots, pans and utensils, and a 39" HD TV with Fubo streaming service. There is fiber optic wifi with speeds up to 400 Mbps. The space is newly renovated with nine new windows, and new paint on the walls, ceilings, and floors. There are three, 5 foot long skylights on the slanted ceiling- one in the living room, one in the kitchen, and one in the bathroom. There are just about six acres of open field, which faces south/southwest, and a beautiful vegetable garden with stone terraces at both ends. We also built a Black Locust pergola at the south end of the garden, which sits atop a Goshen stone terrace (we just planted grapes, but they're still very short!). There is also a fire pit at one end of the garden, and an outdoor fireplace at the other end. There are flower gardens in several spots on the property. We are 100 yards from the public library, which, itself, has recently been upgraded in a major way. Our home also houses a one room post office (300 sq. feet), which is open from 12pm to 4pm, M-F, and 8:30am to 11:30am on Saturday. It's rarely busy...
Our house is centered in the Plainfield Historical district. Plainfield is a town of less than 600 people. Very nice walks and bike rides, right outside our front door! • We loved our stay at Peter's apartment. It is a cozy, warm, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed space. We did not want to leave and will certainly visit again!

    Toni Marie2020-03-22T00:00:00Z
  • Peter’s place was a great jumping off point for cross-country skiing in the area (we were coming up from outside NYC). Cozy spot with nice touches like a warm pellet stove and good granola and milk in the refrigerator when we arrived added up to a great weekend.

    Casey2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Peter’s place was a dream come true - everything about the apartment, land, and overall area was lovely! My boyfriend and I stayed for the weekend to see friends, ride mountain bikes, and visit Mass MoCA and it was conveniently located to everything. We felt right at home in this cozy space and will absolutely be back.

  • Stayed at this spot for a work trip and it was easy, clean, spacious, and had everything I needed. The location is beautiful and peaceful. Peter was attentive and easy to communicate with - even helped me out when I had some car trouble one morning. Thanks, Peter!

  • Very bright and cozy apartment with everything you need for cooking plus coffee, tea, granola and beverages. Great cross-country and snowshoeing trails 15 minutes away. Roads were clear of snow and ice, so no issues to get there. I will recommend this place.

  • This was our second stay at Peter’s place, because we loved it so much the first time. It is comfortable and charming. Impeccably clean. And delightfully cozy. We loved being able to relax in front of the wood stove. We enjoyed walks in nearby conservation land. And quiet privacy to read, relax, and decompress. This is hands-down one of my favorite places ever that I’ve stayed at.

Gorgeous, unique guest house with cathedral ceilings, cupola, front and back decks, three-wall screened porch, fully functional kitchen with Wolf stove, dishwasher, full-sized refrigerator, a/c, ceiling fans, appleTV, internet, two woodstoves (gas, wood). One mile from downtown Northampton, near Childs park, retreat-like environment. Unforgettable space!
Little Blue Studio is a writing space/retreat center during the week and some weekends. As such, it is only available on AirBnB for a few weekends a year.
    Wonderful neighborhood in Northampton MA
  • We enjoyed our stay. The place was very unique, clean, plenty of space. Will stay again in the future.

  • We had a wonderful time at Nerissa’s studio. It was so bright and clean. It was just the little relaxing getaway we needed!

    Stephanie2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • This studio was made to relax, interact with others, and be creative. The pictures do not do this studio justice. I was simply blown away by its beauty. My partner and I had the most amazing time relaxing inside the studio with rain hitting the steel roof and a projector displaying movies on the large wall above the wood stove. Its everything we needed and nothing we didn't. Nerissa is a top shelf host with clear directions, a wonderful dog (that will great you and urge you to throw a tennis ball), and great local recommendations. Her location is seemingly 10 minutes away from everything we wanted to do. I highly recommend you staying with Nerissa, as well will be doing again in the future!

  • Such a special place and in a great location! We wish the stay was longer since the space is so relaxing and rejuvenating! Our stay could not have been better - great communication, easy access, all the nice touches, super clean and the most comfortable nights sleep we can remember! Cant wait for the next chance to unwind there!

    Dean2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • My siblings and I rented out Nerissa’s place as a gift to my mom. Her and her sister stayed the weekend and had a lovely time. They were very impressed with how beautiful and clean the accommodations were. They enjoyed spending time walking to town, getting coffee, and exploring the area. Thank you!

    Justin2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • The Little Blue Studio was an exceptional place to stay, and so close to downtown Northampton. The woodstove and appleTV projector really elevated the quality of the space, and the full kitchen helped from having to eat out every meal. Just a note though - the kitchen has everything you'll need regarding silverware/cups/plates/bowls/etc but consider bringing your own pots/pans/sharp knives if you plan on cooking a larger meal. 5 stars!

I am a custom builder and I decided to have some fun building out my own special guest space. Welcome to Happy Maples! The suite is a private 600 sq ft studio with private entrance, bath w/shower, use of BIG deck w/Adirondack chairs and grill, views of my (rather impressive) gardens and 100' from a nice dunk in the Mill River right behind the house. There is a queen bed and an additional twin Aerobed. 12 mins to Northampton, 20 mins to Amherst, Bike trail in back yard. Come for a fun visit!
Two spots of interest right around the corner: Bread Euphoria, a very local gourmet restaurant and bakery; and truly the nicest DD ever! What we locally refer to as "The Taj Mahal of Dunkin Donuts."
  • Gerry was an amazing host that treated us with respect and warmth! In these difficult times Gerry made sure we felt safe and ensured that everything in the home was cleaned thoroughly. The home itself was awesome! we didnt even have to leave (except for food). The pool table was such a nice addition! We would love to spend a longer time next time!

  • Really interesting & cozy space - close to many cool restaurants & things to do. Beautiful surroundings

    Michael2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Happy Maples was a fantastic stay for my partner and I who came to Northampton for a weekend getaway. Gerry was a great host from the start, being very informative and communicative before check in, walking us through the space, and offering suggestions for local points of interest. The space is very cozy and secluded so it’s great if you’re looking for a little privacy. Beautiful view of the woods, also Farrah Fawcett was there, so bonus points.

    Jake2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Gerry was warm and friendly, quick to respond to our family’s last minute decision to stay the evening in Mass. the space is beautifully unique thanks to Gerry’s woodworking talent. Truly a wonderful stay!:)

    Mira2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Gerry was an excellent host! Really nice spot! Would certainly recommend checking it out!

    Peter2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Happy Maples was a perfect spot to stay while visiting local family. Gerry was quick to respond to messages and greeted us when we got there. His “man cave” was immaculately clean and well-stocked with towels and just-in-case toiletries. The heater worked well and we were quite cozy for our midwinter stay. Would definitely stay again, preferably in the summer when I imagine it’s absolutely beautiful outside

    Lauren2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing place will come again for sure Sparkling clean, very cozy and beautiful view and great vibe! Great for couples

    Imri2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • This was one of my favorite Airbnb stays ever. Gerry is an amazing host- he accommodated us last minute before a snow storm and welcomed us so warmly! He is funny, down-to-earth, and fun to talk to. The space is gorgeous- built by Gerry with a beautiful combination of materials and thoughtful design. The bed is some sort of memory foam magic- so do not let the pullout couch deter you. There is an eclectic array of books and vinyl records along with the pool table, bar, and TV for entertainment. My boyfriend and I had a beautiful night eating, drinking, listening to records, and playing pool as we watched the snow fall outside. Would highly recommend Happy Maples to anyone looking for a cozy place to unwind. :)

  • Fun getaway, in nature with amenities you would expect for a relaxing time away. Check in and out was very easy and accommodating.

    John2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • We love this restful place. It provides all the amenities, but is tasteful. It's easy to see that the owners care about both the environment and our comfort. Though we stayed in a warmer season last time, we noted that the outdoor space has a wonderful winter vibe to it. This is our go-to place when we are in Northampton.

    Mamie2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • I was expecting something good but this was better than I had planned. Great for a relaxing getaway.

    Theodore2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic getaway. Copper bathtub in the bamboo room was fabulous. Nice, quiet location not far from the center. John was accommodating and made sure we were all set before we settled in. Recommended! Thanks, John!

    Maria2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Great getaway very comfortable and amazing views. Copper bathtub was amazing with the perfect window view. Would definitely recommend to anyone to have a private and friendly stay. John was there to great us and gave great suggestions. Very clean and had all the necessities. Not having a tv was very nice especially to have some time away from reality. The sink speaker system worked very well with the apps. Thanks again guys!

Cozy third floor apartment with a view of the tree tops! One bedroom with a comfy king size bed. Big windows, lots of light and nice views of the neighborhood.
There is a kitchenette with sink, refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, hot plate, coffee makers, electric tea kettle, toaster (not a full kitchen, but you can do some cooking). I also provide coffee and k-cups, milk, almond milk, and breakfast bars. Big bathroom with a shower stall (no bathtub), two sinks, granite counter, and a vanity. TV with basic cable, exercise ball and yoga mat. This is a three-quarter story apartment, and extra tall people might feel a little cramped. Many people enjoy the feeling of closeness, though, and really like it!
The neighborhood is close to the urban center and there are upsides and (what might be considered) downsides to that. It's an easy walk to downtown, so you don't have to worry about finding parking in the busy downtown area if you are up for a 5-10 minute walk. There's some traffic noise from the street during morning and evening rush hours. Every once in awhile, there's a city event that you will notice because of people gathering, or you will be able to hear the goings on. Other than that it's a quiet neighborhood of mostly families, and some students. You will notice lots of people walking with dogs and children during the day. A lot of people have nice gardens, and most of the houses are maintained nicely.
  • My friend and I were so impressed with all aspects of this Airbnb. It was the perfect antidote to the current stressful times. Susan is hyper-vigilant in cleaning and disinfecting the space, allowing us to put our fears aside. Beyond her vigilance, Susan absolutely has a flare for creating a beautifully designed “personal space,” one that defies the generic, cookie-cutter space. Even among Airbnbs. She has created an “at home” space somehow. One that we willingly relaxed right into. We loved the King bed, a luxurious size and so comfortable. The amenities were perfect, just the very things we wished for and more. All reflecting the quality choices of the owner! The large bathroom/meditation space was a delightful surprise. Will return for sure! Recommend highly, nothing overlooked on Susan’s part. Karen

  • Susan's place is fantastic--clean, quiet, and extremely welcoming. The apartment has everything you might need for a short or even long stay, it is convenient to downtown Northampton, the bed is super comfortable, and there is even a yoga setup in the huge sunny bathroom. We especially appreciated all the snacks and breakfast foods. We will be back!

  • Loved our stay at Elm Street Inn. The suite is much roomier and comfortable than it looks in the photos. Great parking and private entrance. All the amenities you would need to stay in and cook and watch a movie or walk into town a short walk away. The lovely home cooked breakfast delivered at our door, the fully working fireplace with wood provided and the amazingly comfortable kind size bed made this a truly wonderful romantic winter getaway. Thank you Katherine and Robert for being the most perfect hosts!

    Jessica2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Book it! One of the best Airbnb experiences I have had. So much really useable space. Made working remotely so easy especially due to great wifi. Outstanding location for Smith College and downtown. Excellent off-street parking (hard to find in this location). Wonderful old-time charm with modern conveniences like nice bathroom, microwave and mini-fridge. Friendly and very accommodating hosts (brought us ice for my daughter’s injured knee). Tasty and artfully presented breakfast delivered to your room. I am so disappointed that I discovered this when my daughter has only a few months until graduation!

    Stacia2020-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • We had the best getaway and love Katherine and Robert's apartment and B&B! They are amazing hosts, responding immediately, starting the fireplace for us, and the BREAKFAST! WOW! So Yummy! • The location is ten minutes from downtown, and has that “out-in-the-country” feel. Rachael and David are thoughtful hosts, providing great towels, a comfy bed and coffee in the morning. The house is easy to get to via GPS. The bedroom and bath are around the corner from the dining room, and are quite private from the rest of the house. There is a small heater in case the room gets too cool (it did; it’s winter after all!), but the lovely sheets and coverlet kept me warm and toasty. There is a refrigerator where I could store the food I brought, and they were very amenable to my quick use of their microwave. A great spot!

    Arian Eigen2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Rachael and Davis are great hosts! Their place is very clean and well laid out for Airbnb guests! Nice quiet rural location, but also close to many restaurants and cultural attractions and nature preserves.

We LOVE our town! peaceful, gorgeous and filled with random interesting things to do! Feel free to browse in and contribute to our handwritten guidebook in the AirBnB dishing on the best of Easthampton.
  • This is truly a unique apartment that will wrap you in Gorey gloriousness! The detail of the decor made our stay really special. Additionally, the apartment is very clean, well-appointed, and though situated on a busier street, the largest window faces a wooded area (and an outdoor purple piano!). The hosts were extremely responsive and provided clear instructions about check-in. If you are staying in the Northampton area, this is a great choice!

    Clare2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • What a fantastic place! Every detail was so fun and thoughtful and taryn and Brian are such excellent hosts!

    Amanda2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • My spouse, preschooler, and myself stayed at Taryn's place while visiting the area. It was the perfect home base for us. Our daughter absolutely loved the 'monster apartment' and we had plenty of space. We were able to get work done during the day, explore the area, and we had everything we could possibly need. We were continually noticing special touches throughout our stay. We will definitely stay here again when we're in the area.

    Katie2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • This place has got to be one of the coolest places we’ve stayed at! Taryn was quick to respond to my inquiries and was super accommodating to us. We loved coming in to jazz music, the Monster cereals in the kitchen, and the overall decor. It certainly made the art nerd in me jump for joy! Our only regret is we only stayed for a night. We hope to visit again soon!

    Jessica2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • If you can find a time this air bnb is available STAY HERE. Everything is so lovely, it was my goth dreams come true. Not only is there something to look at in every corner but it is so clean and there is a lot of stuff to use/eat in the kitchen. My only issue was that the bed is a bit stiff so if you have a bad back you may want to bring some extra pillows. That being said I will be staying here again, I am obsessed with the aesthetic and it so close to so many great activities Id be stupid not to.

    Sara2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Easily the coolest place my husband and I have ever stayed! The attention to detail is remarkable and the artistry put into this space is mind blowing. If you are at all intrigued by this air bnb than take it as a sign that you should stay here. Taryn has created such a splendid little universe of hospitality, comfort, and wicked style. The amenities were great, you don’t have to bring much. You’re also supplied with a great hand written guide to Easthampton’s restaurants and attractions, and access to the rail trail is very close, making the walk to Cottage street for dinner quite lovely. If you are an Edward Gorey fan, appreciator of the arts, looking to bring some extra pizzazz to your vacation, or have a partner that’s really into vintage video games, this is your spot. So delightfully surreal!

    Shelby2020-02-25T00:00:00Z

My place is a short walk to downtown Easthampton. The Williston Northampton School is close also, the bike path (in my back yard) and there are 2 artist studio buildings at old factorys and the first indoor park with hydroponic gardens. couples, solo adventurers, business travelers...
I am an artist and my home is filled with my work. I also collect things that interest me including my salt and pepper shaker collection, it is quite extensive with the animal kingdom, foods, transportation and more, (all salt and pepper shakers).
Easthampton is up and coming a cool place with live music, lots of art to see, a great bike path and I am walking distance to a lot of this!

  • This Valentine's Day weekend was our second stay at Deborah's home and it was even more enjoyable than the first. Deborah truly spoils her guests and does her utmost to make your stay as relaxing as possible. Everything from the lighting to the complimentary snacks to her warm demeanor and her friendly pup (Hogan) adds to the peaceful, luxurious feel of the experience. Our favorite part is consistently the delicious, made-to-order, complimentary breakfasts (definitely give the avocado toast a try)! Having the excitement of downtown Northhampton only 20 minutes away is just an added bonus. Communication, cleanliness, flexibility, and the helpful local tips were equally lovely. Deborah clearly understands the importance of hospitality and we're so grateful to have discovered her home. Trust me, you do not wanna pass up on the opportunity to stay here!

  • Exceptional attention to detail. A warm, and personalized welcome from Deborah and Mike, who make you feel completely at home but give you privacy too. Deborah’s cooking is fantastic and her breakfasts are an absolute delight! It was our wedding anniversary and Debbie took so much care with all her personal touches. She made us feel really special by leaving champagne in the fridge (well stocked with water, soda, beer), not to mention coffee/tea/hot cocoa and simply delicious baked treats as well as giving us a list of excellent suggestions for local restaurants. The log room is so cozy, and atmospheric and the view is simply gorgeous, looking out over the trees and bird feeder. We so enjoyed walking a trail on the property, covered in snow. It was a true Winter wonderland, accompanied by their absolutely delightful dog, Hogan (not to leave out Roscoe, their cockatoo at the house). Our stay was so good for the soul. Thank you for such an inspiring and incredible stay.

  • The stay with Deborah, Michael and the family, both human and animal, far exceeded any expectations we had. Not only was the location spectacular, but the house was beautiful, immaculate and so well appointed. Our suite had too many extras to list, but I will mention the amazingly comfortable bed, the bathroom (quality and amount of towels), high quality products and anything you might have forgotten available to you. Plus I would be remiss if I didn't mention all the snacks and drinks readily available right outside our door. We had privacy, but Deborah anticipated our needs (like texting to see if we wanted Michael to get us a pizza or if we preferred Deborah to cook us dinner the night we arrived and the weather was awful). And then the breakfasts...we were spoiled after those 2 mornings. Not only was the food delicious, but it was so beautifully served. And Deborah accommodated my gluten free diet! We are on countdown to when we can come back to visit. Best Airbnb we ever stayed at! Thanks to you all who made our stay so wonderful.

  • This air bnb is fantastic, and the breakfast is amazing! Deborah really thinks of everything to make it the perfect comfy, cozy, relaxing getaway!

  • Staying at Deborah's was the best AirBNB experience I've ever had. The cabin itself is beautiful, covered with so many artistic and decorative touches that you could entertain yourself well just by wandering around and admiring your surroundings. And if you're looking for a retreat into nature, you couldn't ask for a better spot. I put in the wrong address and got lost trying to find the house, and Deborah drove out immediately to get me. It was a sign of the hospitality to come. The space was as picturesque as we could have hoped. There were extras everywhere for every possible thing you might have forgotten or wanted (a full tea/coffee station, also stocked with beer and wine. A luxurious tub with bubble bath at the ready. Rotating snacks up for grabs). We were given menus to select our breakfasts in the morning. Not only was the food incredible, but it was presented like it was meant for a cooking competition. Everything was convenient, taken care of, designed to truly remove all worry from your mind. And, should you be a person that likes pets, there are several friendly animals willing to play with you. I could not recommend Deborah's place more, and I will definitely be coming back.

  • This place really exceeded our expectations. It was so beautiful and peaceful, I felt like I was living in a fairytale. Deborah is an amazing hostess, very personable and made us feel right at home. She really goes above and beyond for her guests and oh my goodness her breakfast is delicious!! If I could give it 100 stars I would. We are already planning on when we could go back!

  • This is by far the best air b&b we have ever stayed in. Deborah is so personable and takes care of all your needs. The food preparation and presentation was outstanding. The room was so comfortable with views of the woods all around. It was hard to leave.

Our beautiful one bedroom apartment on our small organic farmstead is very energy efficient, clean and comfortable. Your stay will include wi-fi, satellite TV and internet, as well as some basic food items and condiments, and eggs fresh from our hens. We have extensive flower and vegetable gardens, fruit trees, honeybees and laying hens. We are in a secluded quiet setting, but only a 20 minute drive from Northampton. There is a wood fired sauna down the hill from the house.
The apartment features controllable heat and air conditioning, all wood and tiled floors, a private entrance with mudroom, a fully equipped kitchen with custom cabinets, a queen bed, and a very comfortable, queen size pullout sofa bed (the sofa bed is in the living room). The apartment is separated from our home by a breezeway/ sun porch which is a lovely place to eat, or just relax during the warmer three seasons. The bed, and the mattresses are all fairly new and high quality, as are most of the other furnishings. The bathroom has a tiled walk-in shower, tiled floor and lots of counter space around the sink. Everything is very comfortable and spacious. The bedroom and bathroom have supplemental radiant heat in the floor to keep your tootsies from getting cold during the winter. There are ample closets and cupboards throughout the apartment. The apartment is accessible by a ramp, and the apartment is mostly useable in a wheelchair.
We are set back two hundred yards from the nearest (very rural) road, so it is very quiet here, but Northampton (and Smith College) is only a twenty-minute drive away. Our property is a little over ten acres, so our nearest neighbors are about 300 yards away. We are surrounded by many trails for your walking or cross-country skiing enjoyment, and the Graves Farm Audubon Sanctuary is a five-minute walk from our home. Nearby Northampton is home to Smith College, and has a thriving music and arts scene, and many great restaurants. We are happy help you find and choose from the many options.
  • Jody and Penny's place is a five-star stay!! The private cabin is very cozy, spacious, bright, and clean. We love this place!! We stayed at theirs for a get-away from the busy Boston area, and this place really meets what we ask for. There are a couple trails that you can take, and the neighborhood is extremely picturesque. We are also deeply in love with the huge bathroom, and the mudroom by the entrances that you can learn from pictures. Which I also really appreciate is that Jody and Penny do post "real" pictures without exaggerating the size of the rooms. What the pictures shown online are true, accurate, and even better to experience in person. Jody and Penny were also super helpful in picking up our packages; helping us on laundry; sending us great flowers for birthdays. They, as well, provided eggs and honey from their farm, as well as cream and coffee!! We could not appreciate more from them! <3 The honey and eggs from their farm are definitely the best I have ever tasted. They are super host! I hope this place can be recognized more because I just can't describe enough using my words.

  • This is our second time at Jody and Penny’s place as we loved our first stay so much. It feels like home away from home just without the sirens, traffic, and high activity levels as we experience it in New York City every day. You will not have to worry about packing anything more than your personal things. Kitchen and bathroom is well stocked with everything you would need for a stay. You will find essentials in the kitchen such as great olive oil, balsamic vinegar, apple cider, flaked oats, sugar, salt, pepper, flour. In the fridge we found half & half, eggs from own hens, butter, great coffee, wonderful homemade wild flower honey. Such a treat. I appreciate the way Jody and Penny have arranged the recycling, compost etc. The surroundings are beautiful as well for hikers, birdwatchers, and cafe people alike. We can recommend Jody and Penny’s place as a wonderful spot to take a big breath away from your daily life.

  • We stayed at Jody’s and Penny’s place in the days between Christmas and New Years. It was absolutely cozy and wonderful. It feels far away from the beaten track, it is quiet, and yet the closest (and most delicious) bakery and cafe is only about 2 miles away. Northampton with loads of good cafes and restaurants is about 15 mins by car. Everything is as described and even better. The apartment is well equipped with everything you will ever need for your stay. All you need is really your toothbrush, some extra clothes, and your PJs. Penny and Jody left the most delicious wildflower honey for us from their own bees. Additionally there was mulberry jam, half & half, a stick of butter + all you could need in terms of good quality olive oil, balsamic vinegar, flour, oat flakes, sugar, salt etc. We were enjoying to cook our own meals in the well laid out kitchen. As you can see, we were very happy with our stay and look forwards to coming back when the nature and the bees have woken up from their winter slumber. In gratitude from Kirsten and John

  • Jody and Penny are incredibly kind, hospitable, and responsive hosts, as well as lovely and interesting people. The apartment is beautiful--clean, quiet, tasteful, and did I mention quiet? Secluded in the New England woods, it feels a million miles away from civilization, but is really just a short drive away from the nearest hilltown and then to Northampton and Amherst beyond. Recommended with no reservations! An absolutely wonderful and relaxing stay!

  • The apatment is very clean and comfortable. Jody and Penny are great hosts. They have a beautiful farm , 20 minutes or so from Northampton, so easy to get to town. There is a complete kitchen, comfy bedroom , walk in shower and a living space for reading/sitting.

  • I didn't get the pleasure of meeting Penny, as she was out of town during my stay, but Jody was a fantastic host. The apartment was spotless and was accurate to the description on Airbnb. The fresh eggs, fruits, and vegetables were a very nice touch. I would definitely star here again the next time I'm in the area. If you are taking a workshop at Snow Farm, it is very conveniently located and the perfect place to come back to after a long day in the workshops.

  • Jody and Penny's place is a lovely, quiet retreat in the country. The apartment is spacious and very comfortable, and I loved falling asleep to crickets and waking up to birds in the nearby woods. Their attention to detail was much appreciated, and I was happy to participate in their environmentally responsible household recycling practices. They supplied a full array of delicious breakfast items, my favorites being the fresh eggs and honey from their organic homestead farm. They are also avid hikers, and furnished me with reference materials and recommendations, one of which I took and thoroughly enjoyed (nearby Mt. Tom). If you need an escape from a noisy environment with easy access to nearby hiking and nature, Jody and Penny's place is the perfect spot.

  • We had the MOST lovely visit to Western Mass at Jody and Penny's wonderful farm! Their space is sunny and brand-spanking new, and was perfectly suited to our needs. We especially liked the kitchen, which upon our arrival included fresh eggs from the hens, apples from the apple trees, homemade preserves, butter, bagels, coffee creamer, and coffee for our first breakfast! The grounds we alive with birds and flowers, too: just right for photographing. Jody was very helpful throughout our four-night stay, had great recommendations for hikes and meals, and even helped us when we got lost. We highly recommend this location to fellow AirBnB-ers and look forward to coming back soon ourselves. Thank you for a terrific stay, Jody and Penny!
