Anne and Shaun's home is so lovely, and absolutely perfect for a big group! They were really quick to respond and super flexible and easy going about any requests which made the whole weekend really straightforward. When we arrived they had generously put some champagne in the fridge and despite dealing with their own family emergency they were the perfect hosts, making sure we had everything we needed and that we were happy. I can't recommend them or their lovely home highly enough!

Stunning house and simply the best hosts you'll ever meet. This is a family home which they are generous enough to share with people, it's quirky and beautiful. Reminded us of Jane Austin with the grand living room with piano and harp, yet it has the homeliness and comfort that reminded us of Harry Potter's Weasley's house as the bedrooms have unique arrangements and lots of uniqueness. A true delight to have stayed. Thank you so much for all your help and amazing hospitality.

The world needs more people like Anne !!! We had arranged a really special suprise birthday weekend for my husbands 40th months in advice at another property. Much to our shock they cancelled on us the day before due to unforeseen circumstances. I was desperately trying to salvage this weekend, I’d spent a lot of money and out so much effort into making it really special for him. Anne came to our rescue like an angel. She was incredibly quick to respond to my panicked emails, so so kind and understanding sending such personal messages and willing to help at the 11th hour. I feel like I owe so much to Anne, wanting you accommodate me and my family at such short notice. At the very last minute we had to cancel Anne due to more unforeseen circumstances on my part (you can’t write it) She was so gracious and understanding even though we told her we were coming and then weren’t. Her house is absolutely beautiful, I really hope we can come and enjoy it one day and say in person a huge Thankyou to this very very special person.

We used Anne’s home as a base for my best-friend’s hen do and it was incredible. Anne was an amazingly accommodating host! We used their private chef and the food was amazing. The dog and cats in the house added to the experience and they were so much fun to play with and Horacio (the dog) was the most gentle dog ever! We would absolutely look to come back if we ever need a house this big again!

We really enjoyed our time at Observatory House - such a charming place with such character, such a warm and friendly family, such lovely pets, and such an accommodating approach. It was a lovely place for a relaxing and fun hen do (complete with games, our own dinner, and even the ability to screen the rugby world cup in the morning), and all 20 hens had a wonderful time. Thank you so much!

This is a really different property of the type that AirB&B was originally designed to feature, before the more commercial landlords came in. Staying here would not necessarily be for everyone. This is a family home and as such is well lived in and it does feels as such. The layout provides plenty of single beds which was ideal for our purpose (a group working week). With the capacity to sleep 18+, the building is large and comes with a whole range of features and notable add on (like a full grand piano, harp, "living" conservatory and 3 cats). As a group we enjoyed our stay here and got lots of work done. One great feature also was the range of local eateries close by, both for take away and evening meals. Ideal when trying to work rather than cook.

Anne’s home is a lovely, central family home with lots of winding passages and nooks and crannies. The main dining room/conservatory space is beautiful and very atmospheric (we were having a murder mystery party) and the kitchen was definitely the heart of the home. Pros: gorgeous animals (great dane, cats, kitten), lovely piano and lots of character. Be aware: not a huge number of bathrooms if you are a large group (we were 25) and the family may be in, plus need to quieten down after 11pm. Anne and her family are very friendly and welcoming. We had a fantastic time.

Another Fantastic stay - Saskia & Bob are extremely hospitable and attentive. Nothing is too much trouble... I would recommend to all....

Great little self contained room. Stayed as a key worker and due to COVID 19 didn’t get to meet the hosts or stay for long but replies were quick, accommodation is well presented, comfortable and I would definitely recommend.

I've rated this place 'as good as expected' rather than anything better as I've got used to it being so excellent! Don't look anywhere else in MK - just leave room for me to keep going! It's the best.

A lovely place to stay with everything you need. Although there isn't a full kitchen area, there is enough to get you by, and a short enough distance away from places to eat that you will be fine. Everything was lovely and clean and fresh, and really comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

Saskia’s place was very stylish and an amazing g detached place with a. Nice garden. She was very friendly and helpful from instruction to visiting us during the arrival. I had to add few people last moment to my guest list, and she was very helpful with that aswell without any trouble. Would definitely recommend

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Gill's! The place was spotless, and comfortable. I was here for work so didn't have much chance to explore, however I went for a run in the evening and it seemed a lovely area and I came across a few shops nearby which is really helpful! Gill's attention to detail was amazing; fresh fruit, milk, tea, coffee, cereals etc. Gill was ever so helpful and informative prior to my arrival. If I'm ever working in Bedford again I shall definitely be returning!

WOW this Airbnb is simply amazing! We had an amazing stay! So beautifully furnished, sparkling clean and the hosts had thought of every little detail! The Airbnb is fully equipped that you can travel light and only round the corner from supermarket. we would deffo recommend!

Fiona is a wonderful host, thoughtful and caring. From the flowers on the table, and the ever so stylish decor... You can't help but fall in love with this Barn. Great location with off road parking. The Barn has everything you need, great value for money. I can't recommend this highly enough.

We stayed at Fiona's place for a short weekend break. The barn was very stylish and comfortable and very welcoming. Really well located for our visit to Bletchley Park and it was great having the country pub just down the road for dinner and drinks.

The location is perfect for a warm welcome not only by the hostess but also by the locals. The stay was really enjoyable in this space - it’s wonderfully decorated and had a lot of considerate touches like snacks and heated floors and soaps and a smart tv.

Oh my word what a beautiful restful barn. This surpassed all our hopes . It is beautifully decorated throughout and has classy thoughtful touches throughout. Everything you needed was there. The Old Stores Barn is tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Fiona was a great host and provided us with everything we could require. It is in a beautiful part of Buckinghamshire with so much to see and do in the surrounding area. We will definitely return.

Had a lovely stay here for my boyfriends 21st birthday! Karen was very accommodating and made the weekend extra special. The place itself was very clean and the hot tub was definitely worth the additional charge.

Karen was a wonderful host! The tiny house had everything you wanted for a cute night away! As it was Valentines Karen left us a complimentary gift which was a lovely touch! Would stay again!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Karen's place for the weekend and we had a brilliant time! The house is lovely, it was really clean and well stocked with everything we needed. I would also really recommend adding the hot tub package to your stay, it was a great addition! Karen is a brilliant host, really accommodating, responsive and helpful and added some lovely touches to our stay. There are lovely walks to go on from the house and the pub at the end of road is great and does really good food. Overall I would definitely recommend staying here and would be very happy to return for another weekend away.

A lovely place to stay. Low beams and lots of stairs but if you are ok with those & like the company of dogs and a cat, you'll have a great time.

Caroline's place is a great place to stay if you're studying at Cranfield or spending a couple of days in the area. Caroline's very welcoming and you get to play with her lovely dogs.

A spacious and comfortable room, easy to find and with off street parking. Made to feel at ease... A pleasant stay

If you like dogs & cats this will suit you well. As described, a very old house with low beams & wonky floors upstairs (lots of stairs). I'm 6' and one beam into the loft room was at shoulder height. Quite roomy once you get into the room though. Shower is compact but an en-suite at this price is good value. Caroline treats you almost like one of the family as you help yourself to a cereal breakfast in the morning. An interesting place to stay. Handy for Cranfield University and within easy walking distance of a local pub. The locals in the village pub were very friendly too. Didn't have time to use the pool but I understand this is possible outside of lesson hours.

This converted farm is a fabulous slice of history and Caroline is a brilliant host. The bedroom was comfortable and cosy. It's worth noting that the house is home to three friendly dogs and a cat and the doors are not locked. I would be more than happy to stay here again and would recommend it in a heartbeat. Nice place to stay, you will got everything in the studio, and you don’t need to share bathroom with other people. If you have a car, that would be more convenient.

My first experience of Airbnb and I was impressed. A very pleasant studio with welcoming hosts. I stayed in late Nov and found the place perfectly warm with cosy underfloor heating and a plug in radiator too. Overall very clean and fresh with quality fixtures and furnishing. The bed was comfortable and WiFi connectivity and speed good. Check-in was easy and I was glad to be able to park on the drive right outside the door. I’d recommend this as a very good place to stay.

A warm and inviting space, which is airy and relaxing. This was my first experience using Airbnb. I will defiantly book more in the future. My tomtom directed me to the side street, so if you end up near some bollards, the house is just around the corner, on the main street. Parking was always available. Communication was swift and very helpful. Checking out by noon was a great benefit too.

Unfortunately couldn’t log on to WiFi for duration of stay which could be difficult if needed for work. Maybe a signal booster for the router would solve the problem. Apart from that, an absolutely adorable studio space and Jo is the loveliest person - friendly and helpful. The area is very beautiful too. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back again.

Great place to stay in walking distance of all of Ampthill’s amenities that feels safe and secure for a lone female guest while offering privacy because of the separate entrance. It is very comfortable for more than a short stay if you’re happy to eat out as I was. Great value too so I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Had a great stay, the house was undergoing refurbishment in general with the carpet from stairs taken out. But the room was in great condition. Lots of green space and walking paths nearby. Apart from Mel’s dog there are two cats in the house from her long term lodger. They just mind their way so no problem in terms of stay.

I had a really nice stay at Melanie's place. I unfortunately didn't get to see much of Melanie because I was so busy but each night I arrived home I was greeted by her lovely Labrador! Michael & Karen took great care of our son Adam during his term at Cranfield U. He said their place was perfect, and a close walk to the bus. He was made to feel comfortable in England and you helped him get the lay of the land. We appreciated your quick replies to our unrelated questions, like mobile phone carriers. You are great hosts!

This is a very warm, spacious apartment situated in the grounds of the main house. The hosts are both welcoming and discreet. Communication is prompt and check-in straight forward. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to our return.

This is a lovely little annex over the garage on the owner’s property. Although you share the gated entrance with the owner it still feels very private. The space is compact but has all the mod cons and is exactly as described. Would highly recommend and it is ideally placed for Bletchley park, Woburn and Milton Keynes.

Elizabeth is very welcoming, the bedroom has en suite sink and shower with a private toilet just down the hall, it’s very convenient as a bed for the night if you are out sightseeing. Very friendly host and at the same time not at all intrusive. Very friendly cat too.

It was a pleasure staying at Elaine’s flat and after an exhausting work day I was very grateful to have a room for the night. This is a well presented clean ground floor flat with comfortable single room with wardrobe and chest of drawers. There is nice modern bathroom with excellent shower, warm accommodation and the other good feature is access to free safe off street parking. Also, close to local shops/pub nearby. Thank you Elaine and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if in your area!

Stayed with Matt for a week while completing a training course at Cranfield University. Absolutely lovely place to come back to in the evening. The whole house was beautiful and spotlessly clean, there was safe off-street parking, nearby amenities and great cooking facilities. Matt was extremely welcoming and went out of his way to make me feel at home. All in all a resounding 5 stars! Cannot recommend highly enough, thanks Matt!
