It's a safe, peaceful and warm family feel stay with them. Phu is the only one that able to communicate in english, however on my stay, he went out for his business trip. Although his parents can't speak English, we still able to communicate though some body language or App help.

Everything you see on the photos exactly describes what you get. And you get a clean and spacious room with air con in a great district for food in the neighborhood. Quy is a wonderful host and he will help you with all your problems. He helped me buying a scooter, showed wonderful places to eat and was there anytime i needed advice (hes a working man but youll meet him in the evenings or hes very quick with (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) replies). Dont expect luxurious but if you want to stay in a tidy room with comfortable bed and feel like a local in your neighborhood - then dont think too much and book. Its also 20mins on food to the center and tourist area.

It is really great stay. Really clean and spacious. About 30min walk from city centre but plenty of attractions to walk around. I couldnt talk alot with his family since i dont speak any vietnamese but they were really friendly.

Great listing, 100% accurate. Thanh was great and met us at the airport as soon as we arrived and took us to the apartment. We were given a sim card to use right away so no need to be worried about being disconnected from (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) :) The apartment was very clean and neat, and super comfortable. I wish I coukd stay there long. This is located in a very central location and easy to get anywhere from here. nearby there are plenty of restaurants as well. Definitely recommend this place.

Bao is a friendly, fantastic host. I very much enjoyed my stay at his apartment. He was very accommodating and friendly, and checked in to make sure I had anything I need or wanted. He took me for a great lunch at his favourite place, so we got to know each other as well. The apartment is very clean and bright, and the room was wonderful. There is full use of the closet, and it was great to sit at the desk and work in front of the open window. It's a very quiet neighbourhood because it's tucked in from the main street, but great food, coffee, and everything else you need is just on the main road (not even a minute away). District one is a quick moto ride away too, so everything is so accessible. Bao's apartment is a great home base to explore the city, and I can't recommend it enough.

Love the stay at Bao place, the 1st day when I was there, I got delayed by flight and reached there at 1.30am in the morning, really appreciate for you to wait for me that day. Location are located near tourist attraction area, within mins can reach. House was clear and Bao even offered me to use the kitchen to make breakfast. Room was spaces and with a nice view when I open the window in the morning, able to heard bird singing and people on the street doing their daily life in Vietnam.

Bao's place is clean and centrally located-- close to buses. He has good recommendations for places to eat!

My wife and I stayed at Phuong's place for the first time visiting Ho Chi Minh city. She has a wonderful place in the heart of District 1. She was very kind and helpful throughout our experience. Clean place and exactly as advertised. Would definitely recommend.

Wait a late check-Zoom promise than hour flight delay. Late at night you become more familiar only bother to use the entrance to the hostel early in the morning Im a good experience. Coop Mart, the nearest attractions, including Notre Dame Cathedral, Cathedral pink. Uber is possible to walk or use. The room is pretty large windows early in the morning feeling jotahjim. Kkeomseung restaurants nearby and there is also no place to sell rice noodles. Been a pleasant experience. Thank you.

The house is very close to the city center. The owner is very warm, personally come to send the key. The room is very big and green plants are very comfortable.

The apartment was very comfortable and spacious with great air conditioning and a couple fans. The owners were very friendly and accommodating, they even let me check in early! Location was quite nice, within walking distance of shops and restaurants. There was a fridge, kettle, and hot plate, allowing cooking to be done, however there were no cooking supplies such as spices, oil, butter, etc. Unfortunately, there were a lot of red ants in the apartment, in the kitchen and even the bed. I was bit a few times by them. They also got into my backpack. Otherwise, the apartment was fantastic, but I feel that the issue of the ants needs to be dealt with immediately.

Phuong is the nicest Airbnb host I've met so far, she meets you when you arrive and also upon leaving & wants to make sure your stay is a positive one. Nowadays, most hosts do not do that anymore and if you ask for it, they claim its self checkout and even get a little offended. The room is as described, bed is ok etc. The only suggestion I have is that it would be nice to have a TV there to relax and watch a movie at night. Cheers

This place is quite perfect, especially for someone like quite place to chill and lost in Saigon. All furnitures are new but its Vietnamese old-style brought my girlfriend and I back to 20th century in Vietnam. The room is safe and clean. Besides, we received a warmly host and kindly help by Tran. It is also easy to go around Saigon from this place, taste delicious street food or simply drink a cup of Sua da cafe. Definitely come back here next time.

This was my first experience on Airbnb as well as in this city, and everything was incredibly beautiful. The house was absolutely clean and quite with Indochina decoration. From the very first step, I already felt how delicacy this place would be or how much passion the owners put into it. The room itself is just like a studio on magazines with many little funny furnitures I never thought I would see them in this century anymore. It was on the 2nd floor of an old building with a lovely balcony which is completely separated with all the noise of the street. However, it only takes 10 minutes walk to the city center. But Tran’s House is way more than just a place to stay, thanks to the two Tran hosts. I arrived to the city all alone and was so welcomed by the best hosts I can ever expected. They told me all about the city and recommended places that I should go or what I should try to do or eat, and even gave me a ride. I would never forget when Quan (one of the two hosts) woke up in the middle of the night and went to my place just to bring me some pills because I had a stomachache. I stayed for only 3 days but already felt like had been living here for years and being a part of it. Thank you for such amazing experience and memories. I will definitely come back and highly recommend this place for everyone I know.

The most lovely & memorable place that I have experienced throughout my trips! I have been in Saigon in the rainy season that it's raining heavily all day & night. My flight arrived at late night and I forgot to contact the the host of Tran's house about that delay. So surprisingly, Quan and Tuan (2 hosts of my house) still waited for me to carry my luggage and brought me some snack to eat. Really, they made the first sincerely warm impression of mine about this city. Those 2 handsome guys also recommended for me some nice sightseeings, local restaurants, bars and interesting places of Saigon for me to enjoy in 2 days. Besides, the house is wonderful. I love the decoration and all the delicate furniture in Colonial style which is specially traditional feature of the old Saigon. My bed is so comfortable, bathroom & toilet is clean and the kitchen with the porcelain stuff is lovely. In general, I had good time in Saigon in this place and highly recommend for others. Have fun and enjoy this city with the two kute & handsome guys ;)

Recommend! The place is clean, cozy and very Vietnamese traditional. It is way more better than the price they offer. I really love the host's attitude. I fly from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh and my flight is delayed. Therefore, I arrive Tran's house quite late in a rainy night. However, the host still wait for me and help me check-in and carry all the luggages. He's very friendly and gentle. I definitely choose Tran's House for my next Saigon trips. Thanks you guys!

We loved staying at Hai's house. It is located in a great neighborhood, close to many sights and local restaurants. The room was clean and had a great balcony view of the neighborhood and some skyscrapers. Hai's family was friendly, too. Great stay, would love to visit again!

I absolutely loved my stay at Hai's place - it was the perfect start to my work trip in Vietnam. I can't express how much I appreciated Hai and his families hospitality. They are all so lovely and absolutely adored Hai's sons, they were super cute. I was very impressed that Hai spoke perfect English only after learning the language for about two years - we had some great chats, he comes across as a very understanding person. The room is exactly described - very clean, bright and sunny with a lovely outdoor bathroom. I loved chilling out on the verandah which overlooked the peaceful neighbourhood and was also the perfect spot for yoga around dusk time.

I was recovering from dengue fever so we just needed a place to rest but this place was exactly as pictured: clean, comfortable, and a sweet family. There was a fridge, AC, and a hot water boiler which was nice! Coffee included as well.

We enjoyed a lot our stay in Hai's Home. - the location is perfect, in a quiet area from district 3, away from the touristy district 1, but not too far. - the room is clean and bright - the furniture is great (wifi, fridge, aircon, etc.) - Hai takes care of the environnement, the house is green friendly - Hai is very helpful and friendly - and last but not least, it is a real home stay, unlike many guest house and youth hostels in SE Asia using Airbnb as a booking service

The host and their family are super friendly. They try to help and give you information on the surrounding areas. I didn't get to interact much with them because I was always out for meeting. But I spoke to Hai on arrival and he is a great guy.

Hong Yen's home is amazing - great rooms with perfect AC and TV setup, perfect for relaxing and escaping the heat when needed. The location is perfect - close to restaurants and shopping and pretty centrally located to all the districts you would want to visit. Hong Yen was a great host and even showed us around the neighborhood when we first arrived. I would definitely stay here again and I think you should too!

We enjoyed our stay at Yen's home. We loved the location in district 3 - close to the action but not touristy and lots of places to eat. Get a coffee at Cafe May down the street! :) Yen was easy to communicate with and organized us a taxi upon our departure.

Yen's place is wonderful! She communicated quickly with me prior to my arrival and helped me navigate HCM my first day. Her home is conveniently located and there are many shops, restaurants and banks/ATMs nearby. The neighborhood felt very safe and it was nice to have the park and river walk so close by. Another huge plus is the rooms are virtually soundproof. I honestly didn't hear a thing from the room next door or the living space below. The room itself was outstanding. Bed was comfortable; WiFi, TV and AC all worked great and the entire home was spotless. A real added bonus was access to the washing machine. Having come from India where laundry is done with scrub brushes on plastic mats (hell on clothes, by the way) with brownish water, it was great to get the dinginess washed out with an actual machine and roof-top sunshine drying.

We had a wonderful three night stay at Yen's home. She was extremely accommodating, welcoming us late in the evening and giving us a quick tour of the surrounding area. Yen was very helpful with recommendations and anything we needed during our stay. Our room was comfortable, cool and had everything we needed. It was also very quiet, off the main street, so we always had a good sleep. Yen's home is centrally located, and it took us about 15-20 mins walk to get into the main city center, museums, Notre Dame etc depending on how quickly we walked. There was also a great vegetarian + meat pho and a coffee shop just off her street. We would happily recommend Yen to others staying in HCMC, and would stay there again ourselves. Yen's location is great and not too noisy compared to most backpacker hotel in district 1. Many great food and local market nearby to explore and 10-15 mins walk to major attractions. However its convenient to grab a cab from the main road if you prefer a comfortable journey with minimum fare. Host is friendly and showed us around the area and recommendes us few of the nice eateries nearby. Room is exceptionally clean and tidy with nice air-condition.

Thanh's place was lovely. A 3 storey traditional Vietnamese home. There was air conditioning in both bedrooms and it's in a quiet, small and safe gated community just off of the main road. Really nice and relaxing environment. Plus it was only a 10 minute drive from the airport and a quick Uber to the city. We found some nice places to eat and drink within walking distance and the neighbourhood is really nice. Lots of clothing boutiques and coffee shops. Thanks Thanh! We will stay again. :)

This is an excellent place. set back up a laneway and through a communal gate, this 3 story residence is a typical slice of urban living within this Saigon neighbourhood. nice and quiet, this property provides an awesome opportunity to experience everyday life. With a shops a bare 60 seconds from the front door, and interesting laneways that wind in a maze like pattern through the neighbourhood then this is a fantastic place to stay. I'm really happy to have been a guest here with my children. The house is clean and spacious. 3 levels and featuring 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, it was perfect for the 4 of us. I'd strongly recommend this as your place to stay in Saigon, especially if you don't want to stay in a tourist infected area. The house is 10 minutes or so from the airport and 10 minutes to district 1 (obviously depending on traffic and the time of day). though I'd suggest not wasting time in district 1. if you're interested in shopping then walk up and down the main street and other main streets that you come across. the place is relatively easy to find. go up the alley between the bakery (#282) and the shop (#280) and about 30 meters on the left is a large blue/green metal gate which leads into a court yard for 9 houses. Thanhs place is the last on the right. I can't think of any bad points. the people in the neighbourhood were really friendly and my kids enjoyed the experience. If you're looking to stay some where you feel a little challenged with travelling in a different culture then this is a great option.

The house is close to the airport. And the host is very nice and easy to talk. The house is three floor. And the house is quiet and cosy.

The apartment was nice and well equiped. Although it is located in district 3 you can reach the bus number 4 very easily. We preferred walking but it is quite a bit to reach the nightlife scene. Unfortunately we didn't received any detailed information how to reach the place in advance but luckily a resident led us to the apartment and another airbnb guest opened up the door for us. It is very noisy during the daytime but surprisingly calm at night.

I really loved staying here. Even though I was arriving quite late, Violet made my checkin quite straightforward. The space is bright & welcoming & wifi works great! Will come back next time i come to hcmc

Nicely decorated flat in a authentic, friendly vietnamese neighborhood. Like living in a village in the middle of tphcm. Food around the corner. Cool balcony and a big kitchen would make it perfect also for long time rentals. Public transport options for getting into downtown.

Every thing was ok! The house is quite near to the train station... Violet is great!

The apartment is really nice, located in a pleasant neighborhood, street food and coffee nearby. The museums and the cathedral are not far and accessible by public transport.

This is probably my best experience on Airbnb. Lovely house, lovely host, lovely little garden. You can have a cup of coffee downstair, take a walk around the peaceful neighborhood and it's no difficulty at all reaching the hot spots in town. The studio is perfectly equipped with a proper kitchen. Had a great time, definitely coming back for more.

The place was totally charming. It was so well equipped and tasteful I could have easily moved in permanently without changing a thing! He was also super helpful allowing us to check in in the wee hours of the morning. The cafe serves delicious cheap local food. Super authentic. Enjoy!

Le's place was excellent! Really nice room, spacious & clean, with everything you need. The room I stayed in was on the third floor, which I didn't mind to walk up stairs at all, as I treated that as a good daily exercise. About 10 minutes Uber drive to Ben Thanh market. This house is located on the same street with one of the popular restaurants in Saigon - Quán Cục Gạch restaurant , about 100 meters away. Duy was a wonderful host, I definitely would recommend him to my friends. I look forward to next time.

Awesome stay, Le's a great host, very friendly and attentive. Room was clean and nice, had all amenities for a longer stay (I did a bit of work there too). Cleaning lady comes often (cleans the place, changes towels). It's in third floor (without a lift) so a little exercise but I didn't mind. Downstairs is a coffee place with both airconned indoors and outdoors to sit and have a coffee or whatevs. Gate shuts at 11pm, so gotta ring the security bloke inside to open when you come later - comes real quick and it's not an issue. Overall, very recommended! Hoping to book again :)

Cherry and her family are lovely hosts. Very welcoming and friendly. They were kind enough to share a meal with me when I was there and also great with checking in on how I was doing. The neighbourhood is very local without a tourist in sight which was what I was looking for. There are many food stalls in close proximity and particularly a great place near the supermarket which serves some awesome Banh Xeo. The private bathroom was clean and stocked with supplies. Aircon worked so well and the balcony was a nice place to sit. Bed super comfy! Thanks again Cherry, all the best.

It was a wonderful experience staying at Chery's place. The place is at a very local district (that was what I was looking for) and not far from the centre, I chose to walk there every day and I loved it! There is a local market, some small beauticians and spa salons in a very short walking distance. The room is simple but very cozy, clean and has everything you need- working table, balcony, A/C, you even have a private bathroom on the same floor. Chery's parents were wonderful, they gave me my privacy, communicated with the help of devices :) and Cherry was caring host and gave me some great advice. If I were to stay in HCMC again, I would definetly choose this place again. Thank you :)

We were hosted by Cherry's parents and it was a wonderful experience. Cherry's place is located in a lively residential area and really allowed us to get a taste of the local life. It was very easy to get around. We had the whole second floor to ourselves and a private bathroom. The place was clean and the bed very comfortable. Cherry has been clear and helping in the communication process and her parents are lovely. Although we didn't speak the same language but we managed to even chat with the help of (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) Translate. Staying with them were one of the highlights of this trip. Would definitely recommend.

The place was very nice to stay, it was my first time to visit Sai Gon and this place made me feel very comfotable. The bedroom and the private bathroom are clean, the host family is realy friendl. I would recommend you to stay here because of the reasonable price and you can really gain experience about Vietnam local lifestyle.

We picked this place because it was described as a homy place but instead it felt more like a hotel because we did not see any of the hosts. Room and bathroom are nice and clean but ceiling in both rooms is indeed very low: my boyfriend is 1m88 and could not stand up. Make sure you are okay with this.

I stay a week. It is a safety private room high CP. The room and bathroom are about 180 cm high. some time neighbor's dog barking no problem with me. Very good to use it as a base than go to travel around the country.

The room was quit good and clean. Its not for tall people. You can also use the washing-machine and the kitchen. That was great! To the centre you need to take a taxi, and the streets around aren't that nice for expirience. But totally oke for 1-3nights..

Room looks exactly like the picture. Bed was clean and comfortable. The only downside was that it was noisy parts of the night. I could hear doors banging quite a few times in the middle of the night . Probably from the tenants coming in or out of the place.

Communication was not great with the host. I tried to call both numbers but there was no response. When sending a message I didn't receive any feedback either. It was only when I was outside and I sent a message saying that I can't find the place that I got a response. The room was not cleaned there was an old cuetip still lying on the desk. When I was received i was told that the room would be cleaned later the afternoon, it never was. Thankfully, my plans changed last minute so I didn't have to spend the night. I don't think I'd recommend it to some else, the experience was not terrible but it's wasn't pleasant.

Best value in town -- five-star service from Nha and her lovely family. The nicely-appointed room is clean, quiet and comfortable. Located on the third floor of a stand-alone house down a quiet lane, you are close to a wide range of non-touristy restaurants and shops, and just a short ride to District 1. Nha and her family went out of their way to help me in so many ways: calling for Grab taxis, serving Vietnamese snacks and beer, and even arranging a car and driver for a 4-day trip to the Mekong Delta. I really felt at home here and look forward to seeing them the next time I visit Sai Gon.

I love my stay here! The family went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and they gave me lot of recommendation. The room is on the top floor and you have a private balcony all to yourself. The location is near everything, all in all I really enjoy my time at Nha's place. Would love to stay again.

Thu Nha's place is very central, clean and especially makes you feel like your home. I will come back for another time and definitely highly recommended for other trevellers.

Nguyen's city Saigon apartment is a bit of a hidden gem in District 3. Tucked away in a narrow street, you'll walk by community food vendors and locals eating soup or spring rolls on makeshift outdoor tables. The apartment itself is upscale -- huge glass window entrance leads you into a high ceiling living room, with tasteful decor. It feels more like an urban home than a commercial accommodation. The room is equipped with aircon, and two things stand out compared to other value-bookings in Saigon: the bed is comfortable and the room smells crisp and clean. Nguyen himself goes the extra mile to make sure you enjoy your stay as much as possible. He is very accommodating and responsive. Getting into district 1 or other areas is a non-issue. Uber rides come within 3 minutes and cost less than $0.50 cents to downtown. Couple minute ride into town, but sometimes I like to just walk it, as the path into Bui Vien (backpacker district) and to Benh Thanh market is quite pleasant.

Nguyen's place we can highly recommend. It's very clean, safe, beautiful moder house. Very close and only walking distance to the most popular and important places to visit in HCMC. We had prepared a folder with all the information we needed to know about the city, food, neighbourhood, taxi... Just a little touch but very helpful. We arrived from Mui Ne and we were very late, about midnight but it wasn't a problem for Nguyen and he was waiting for us. Last day Nguyen called the taxi for us and spoke to the taxidriver to make sure we get to the right airport and on time. Thank you Nguyen one more time. Sona and Steve xx

In my opinion to say about this house only 1 word " it's incredible more than we expected " The house is quite , lovely and almost the time Nguyen is in his office so we can use fully the house with living room and kitchen. His mom is very friendly and helpful me for the first day i arrived. The room is enough for 2person with comfortable mattress and a clean bathroom. It's so close to the center ( actually here is center , i used to walk 10~15 mins to Ben thanh market) If take uber it cost only less than 1$. We hope to go back Saigon soon and stay in your house! Definitely recommend to everyone!
