I needed a quiet place outside the city to do some writing - and found exactly that. Bea responded promptly to my booking request and welcomed me warmly to her warm home when I arrived. Although the farm animals and the odd train passing by may offer a bit of noise, these soon filter into the background as part of the farm experience. The surroundings were serene and the place was very well-equipped. The cottage also uses some sustainable energy sources, so when the greater area experienced a power failure I could still have a warm shower, cook and keep warm! Bea was an amazing host. I highly recommend the cottage on the farm in Mooiplaats!

Het is een heerlijk huisje en van alle gemakken voorzien. De ruimte en de rust is waar wij van genoten. Elke keer de hartelijke ontvangst als we terug kwamen van een paar daagse rondreis was het of we weer thuis kwamen. Dit huisje op de boerderij is zeker aan te raden.

My hosts were very welcoming with a lot of attention to detail. The Cottage is very well equipped, and beautifully set out. I like the creative and artistic touch. The property itself is absolutely beautiful. It felt like I was in a little paradise with the well tended garden and birdsong all around. It was a lovely and peaceful getaway. Pearl cottage offered everything I was hoping for and was very good value for money. I hope to return soon.

The property grounds are beautiful and not far from some of the wedding venues in Cullinan. However, the rooms are very dated and seemed to have a lot of dust and dead bugs. The bathroom wasn't very clean. The hosts however were very welcoming and made a delicious breakfast.

Alida and her husband are gracious hosts, considerate. they advise us to plan our trip. their home is beautiful. they are welcome here, during their next trip to France. @

We had a far too brief stay - we swept in as a whirlwind and Alida did absolutely everything possible to make us feel welcome. Above and beyond does not accurately describe our experience. We regret that we did not plan to spend more time as our travel plans did allow. The rooms were great, the house is beautiful and the breakfast was simply amazing. We loved being in the farm community and the grounds are so lovely. It's no wonder they are a wedding venue as well.

Het leek net alsof we thuiskwamen. Een heel warm onthaal! Alida en Henrik zijn een geweldige gastvrouw en gastheer. Altijd in voor een praatje, een suggestie en aan alle kanten probeerden ze het zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Toen het koud was, maakten ze voor ons lekker de openhaard aan en zetten de tafel ervoor zodat gewoon voor de openhaard konden eten.

Staying at Wings & Water was a wonderful and very blessed experience for our family. The staff are amazing and the surroundings as well as the entire guest house is just so beautiful. Charlaine makes the most amazing food and everything is top class and 5 Star! Wings & Water is ideally situated in a beautiful golf estate. Go for lovely walks on the golf course as the sun rises or sets, do sundowner drinks at the club house or just relax in the beautiful atmosphere of the Wings & Water surrounds. All in all the perfect place to stay when visiting Pretoria.
