Our home is located in the the vibrant Eastville area of Bristol famous for its multi-cultural cuisine and festivals. There's a range of cafes, restaurants, several great pubs, a fabulous bakery, a church, a mosque and even a bookies. One of our local streets, St Marks Road, has recently been named in the top three greatest streets in the UK. We are also located near to the Frome Valley Walkway which is a 29km (18 mile) long path following the River Frome from the River Avon in the centre of Bristol to the Cotswold Hills in South Gloucestershire. The property is also close to the Bristol and Bath Cycle Path which is a 13 mile off road route between the cities of Bristol and Bath. • Craig and Becky gave me a warm welcome. The room was at the top of the house and was just as described. It was great for my one night stay - the room was very cosy and I slept really well. Although on-street parking on their road was full when I arrived, I was able to park in a street just round the corner.

  • This room is very nice, big and at an absolutely fair price! There are three double beds inside so completely suitable for 4-6 people, with its own bathroom. One thing stands out from the other Airbnb rooms is that there are a lot of food/ milk/ cereal / snack provided in the kitchen for free, so self-making breakfast is super easy and convenient. The room is facing the road so it’s a bit noisy at night when cars pass by but fine for one night stay.

Light single room in 19th century terraced home shared with friendly owner, near to amenities, bus, train routes and city centre. Free parking available in the street.
Enjoy your time in Bristol staying in a quiet, clean and welcoming environment in my Victorian terrace house. The room has a single bed, wardrobe, and desk. I also rent out a double room (see 'Lovely light attic room'), so you may be sharing communal areas for up to 2 other people. Equally, you may wish to book both rooms if there are more of you travelling together. .
Incredibly convenient for business or pleasure, Robertson Road is just off the M32, so ideal for reaching the city centre, UWE, Filton, Frenchay and Southmead. Bristol is called the Gateway to the West Country and so is a great place to stop en route to Devon and Cornwall or to go directly west into beautiful Wales. It is also a great place to stay in for itself. As well as being the UK's first cycling city, Bristol won Green City status in 2015. It has great cycling routes as well as public transport and is a vibrant, multicultural city with plenty of cultural, musical and historical events and places. We are located close to St Mark's Road, which is a short vibrant street with restaurants, take aways, artisan bakery and the renowned Sweetmart, as well as mosque, Methodist church and pub. Nearby is gastropub -The Greenbank, Este - a Brazilian/Columbian cafe, and deli/cafe No 12 The High Street, as well as Eastville Park all within walking distance. While most guests enjoy the diversity and boho atmosphere of the locality, one or two people have expressed concern about the neighbourhood. Please note that this is an inner city area, so yes - there is graffiti, scruffy streets, the odd boarded-up house, etc. If you are not comfortable with this, perhaps this location is not for you. Please do contact me with any queries. I hope you enjoy your stay in this fabulous city.
  • Clean, warm and great price.

  • I stayed at Stella's place for a month, and everything was great. The hosts are very kind and hospitable, the house is lovely and equipped with everything you might need for a very comfortable stay. The location was perfect, in a quiet area but only a very short walk to public transport to the city centre and to the lively St. Mark's Road. I had a great time, and would definitely stay here again if I ever come back to Bristol.

  • Stella’s house is a great place to stay in Bristol. The room is comfortable and clean. This house has a good location , which is convenient to get to everywhere in Bristol. The host Stella is a really kind person. She made detailed instructions of the room and local transportation for us when we checked in. And she helped us when we were in trouble. Even not only Stella. When we first got around, there were neighbors who were friendly to give us directions. Trust me, this house won't let you down.

  • John’s home was lovely and sparkling clean. The bed was super comfortable and the room was atmospheric, especially on a rainy night. it is located near a bus stop with multiple routes, and near a tesco. John is super accommodating and easy to talk to!

    Stephanie2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • I spent 7 weeks at John's house as part of a business trip. John is a very welcoming, friendly, open minded and kind host. I really enjoyed the time at his place. The room was very clean when I arrived. There are several rules in the house but that is a very good thing as the house is kept clean all the time. I enjoyed talking with John when he was around in the house. The kitchen is also very well equipped. It was easy to get to the city centre or other directions as several bus stops are close to the house. Thank you John, for giving me that good time and providing a very nice place to stay! Hope to see you again, if coming back to Bristol.

Our private romantic Eco Cabin with compost loo & outdoor shower, lies at the bottom of our large garden and was originally built for our Mum to have her own space, away from the chaos of three children at home and a busy working life. It was built with a deck that over looks the river frome and the local lake. It is the perfect space stay to de-stress. You'll be able to come here, play your favourite music and relax in an incredibly comfy bed before exploring the vibrant city of Bristol.
Our Cosy Cabin has a large double bed with four fluffy pillows and an electric blanket for added warmth. We pre heat the Cabin so that you're as comfy and cosy as you can be from the moment you walk in. The compost loo and hot shower are both situated just outside, in their own huts on the deck. Please come with an open mind, there is a slight chance of spiders. They are not to the liking of everyone and we suggest coming with an open mind. There are slippers available for guests to use when stepping outside to use the facilities. We supply clean towels and shampoo etc. We also provide tea and toast making facilities, you'll find a small trolley filled with various teas, coffee, sugar & jams. We supply cutlery, glassware & mugs for each guest. We want our guests to visit the cabin as a 'get-a-way', to take some time for themselves and enjoy their surroundings so for that reason, we do not have a TV. We do however have free WIFI and a stereo for you to enjoy your own music or tune into the local radio. There are books to read and colouring pens and pencils too. The Cosy Cabin is decorated in our mum's own unique style, she had an eye for antiques and interiors. In the summer guests often open up the doors and lay in the chaise lounge reading a book from Mum's collection. If you're coming for a special occasion, please let us know if there's anything we can do, i.e, cool a bottle of prosecco or leave some rose petals on the bed.
The Cabin is located on the edge of a City Park at the bottom of my large garden, there is a side entrance the door has a key code for security. This is a very safe Neighbourhood, the street is part of a large post war cul-de-sac built to house teachers from the nearby private school. It is a short walk to a small shopping centre and two lively communities with local restaurants and pubs. It is close to two cycle paths, with direct access to pretty walks and historical woodlands, yet still very close to the city. The front of the house is ordinary but the rear is extraordinary (Narnia )
  • Ruby's place is fucking fabulous! I cannot recommend it enough! She goes the extra 100 miles to make it unique and cozy for when you arrive, with truly thoughtful touches that no one else thinks to do. She is thoughtful, creative and caring in her work, she creates a truly luxurious and memorable experience. Cannot recommend enough!

  • Great space - highly recommended!

    James2019-11-05T00:00:00Z
  • Ruby's cabin is absolutely wonderful! Quiet, cosy and quaint. Many quirky touches throughout thanks to her mum's funky design philosophy :) we had a great view over the river frome and the lake, and the lake is only a short walk to get to, and makes a nice stroll. The toilet and shower may not be to everyone's liking but didn't bother us in the slightest, I even had an shower in the evening where various critters were ambling around. We would recommend this lovely place to anyone, and also have to add that Ruby is a wonderful host, extremely accommodating and helpful. Hope you enjoy your stay if you do choose to stay there, we definitely did!

    Alex2019-11-01T00:00:00Z
  • Very comfortable and tranquil. Would loved to have experienced sitting outside on a fine evening as it looked inviting but the weather was against us.

    Bridget2019-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • Myself and my 8 year old son, my grown up sauger and almost two year old granddaughter stayed for three days this month. Ruby was extremely accommodating and had made up an extra bed for my daughter, the children slept with me in the large bed and there was plenty of room. The cabin was quirky and cosy and had everything we needed, the deck outside, overlooking the river and pond was beautiful, we could hear the dull sound of traffic but the surroundings meant we forgot about it. I especially enjoyed my morning cuppa sitting out on the deck. The outside loo was fine but maybe not to everyone’s taste, the shower (also outside) was not working and so Ruby allowed us to use her house bathroom whenever we needed, and it was much appreciated. We were a short drive from the centre of Bristol which we know well, we didn’t use public transport but I’m sure it is available. We would most certainly stay again, Ruby was friendly and very hospitable. Fresh water for drinks and a kettle with a selection of teas and coffee was available in the cabin. Wonderful little place for a peaceful break away.

Only 4 miles from the centre of Bristol. A peaceful rural location on the edge of the historic parkland of the Stoke Park Estate. Great for walks in the woods or running. The property has stunning cityscape views. 4 minutes from M32 with off street parking and easy access to Bristol City Centre. Comfortable relaxed accommodation with two single rooms currently available on a nightly basis.
36 Lindsay road is the very last house on the right at the top of the hill. The room at the back of the house has stunning city scape views over Bristol. Particularly impressive at night. The green spaces and woodland of the stoke park estate are just out the front door .. with many miles of off road walking and running available. All this is just 4 miles from Bristol city centre and just off j2 of the m32. Bus links from the bottom of the road ( no 24 bus) will get you to the centre in around 25 minutes.

Enjoy your time in Bristol staying in a quiet, clean and welcoming environment in my Victorian terrace house. The loft room has a double bed, drawers and access to a clothing rail. There is a fan, which is useful in the summer months.
Bristol is called the Gateway to the West Country and so is a great place to stop en route to Devon and Cornwall or to go directly west into beautiful Wales. It is also a great place to stay in for itself. As well as being the UK's first cycling city, Bristol also won Green City status. It has great cycling routes as well as public transport and is a vibrant, multicultural city with plenty of cultural, musical and historical events and places. We are located close to St Mark's Road, which is a short vibrant street with restaurants, takeaways, artisan bakery and the renowned Sweetmart, as well as mosque, Methodist church and pub.

  • Had a nice stay at Ralph’s flat! It was a comfortable space and very good value. Nice place for a short stay in Bristol.

    David2019-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • Ralph is the best host I could've ever asked for. I travel a lot but what I need the most for an Airbnb accommodation is a private space and some music so you can feel at home despite being outside of the country and Ralph's place was exactly what I needed. I spent three weeks in this lovely house and it made me real sad when I had to leave for another place and to be fair nothing can ever compare to the time I've spent in this house. Imagine being able to burst out your favourite tune, freely cook your own meal without having to communicate with anyone at all and have a lovely smoke outside the garden (you can even smoke in the room with the window open). The garden's got a chair where you can sit and read some books and a bench for when you've got a company to have a fag with. Other Airbnb-ers will be upstairs and Ralph will always be in his room so if privacy's your number one priority like me, this is indeed your best choice. Despite all that, if you fancy a company, Ralph does a very good job at that too. He'll chat you up about Brexit and some interesting common global issues or just anything (really). The communication is flawless too. Ralph can be your place and will provide anything to make the best of your stay. For instance, I had to go to a camping festival and he managed to find me a sleeping bag. What a host. The location is not so bad either, in fact, it's perfect. You can get a bus to the city which is a 20 minute ride and the closest train station is a 10 minute walk journey too. If you've got nothing to do during the day and just want to do some grocery shopping and chill, there's a supermarket and a park around the corner where you can literally get there by walking in 2 minutes. To conclude, honestly, if you're looking for a place to stay in the great city of Brizzle whether or not it's a short or long stay, just go for Ralph's and enjoy his little castle of blackness (if you're into it, black furniture I mean), and spend the most brilliant time of your trip here.

  • Spent three weeks at the property. The room was immaculate and so were the rest of the common spaces. The premises were practical with all amenities that is needed for a comfortable stay. Patrycja is responsive with requests, I personally had a couple of special requests and she was willing to help out with it. She has ensured regular maintenance of the property and this is evident once you spend time here. The property has good links to the city and outside, with the nearest bus stop right in front of the property. All in all, a positive experience and for this price point, the property certainly is great value indeed.

  • I had a lovely stay at Antonette’s place. It was the perfect size for my quick solo trip to Bristol, and would definitely work for two people as well. Everything you need is in the studio - bed, bathroom, a little kitchenette. The neighborhood is cute, quiet, residential. There’s a bus stop right outside the house, and Ubers to the city centre are about 8-10 pounds. I walked to the city centre from the Airbnb by taking Gloucester Road - lots of cute restaurants and shops, would recommend this if you’re not in a rush getting to the centre. Antonette was always prompt with her responses and was always friendly in our communication. Would stay here again!

  • 3rd time staying at this place, 5* as always

    Anton2019-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • This is a no-frills, budget place to lay your head for the night. Some people have mentioned that it's not that close to the centre but it is close to some cool parts of Bristol - not far to Easton, walkable to St Werbergh's. Easy access from the M32/ M4. There's lots of free parking outside, really flexible check-in and great hosting in terms of comms and meeting us at the property etc. We had a retro, student-style time there and enjoyed our visit. Thank you :)

Lovely newly decorated room in a friendly family home, king size bed and 49 inch TV. Guest will have access to their room and a shared bathroom, they will also have limited access to the kitchen. We have a pet dog who is called Megan, she is a lovely relaxed older dog. My home is on a bus route to the City Centre. The MOD, UWE, Gloucester Road and Southmead hospital are all within a short driving distance. You are able to park right outside my home as there are no parking restrictions.
The bedroom is newly decorated it’s a moderate space with a king size bed and a 49” TV, there is a small hanging area for clothes etc.. The bedroom is at the front of the house so some car noise may be heard.

We recently transformed our large, 70 sq. meter, double garage into a stylish, open plan studio apartment, with bleached oak, hard wood floor and under floor heating. It is a fantastic, light and relaxing space with 3 meter bifold doors with integrated blinds, that fully open out onto a shared court yard with our house. There are large electric velux sky lights with blackout blinds. It is a fantastic light space to relax or work. It has its own private access from the street.
The main room has a very comfortable king-size sofa bed (6 foot 6 x 4 foot 8 inch), a dining area and a double desk. We have a brand new 40 inch smart TV, (with Netflix, Amazon Prime, Freeview, BBC Iplayer) and wifi. It is heated via electric underfloor heating. The bathroom is a lovely space. It has a power shower, sink and loo. It has underfloor heating and a heated towel rail. There is also a utility room with sink, toaster and kettle, washing machine and tumble dryer, iron and ironing board. There is also a fridge freezer. Please note that we do not have cooking facilities but there are plenty of great places to eat nearby! We will provide a continental style breakfast including a choice of cereals, bread, jams, tea, coffee and milk for the morning. Essentials such as bin bags, washing up equipment, shampoo, conditioner and towels and a hair dryer are provided.
We are fabulously located in the north of Bristol. It is located 1 min walk from the famous Gloucester Road, which is one of the largest High Streets in the UK and has the most independent shops of any street in the country. It is packed with great places to eat and drink, listen to music and party. Walk for 30-40 mins down the Gloucester Road and you will be in Bristol City Center. There are also buses every few minutes. Bristol Rovers and Gloucester Cricket Ground are both a short walk. Beautiful Clifton and the Clifton Suspension Bridge is a nearby. We are also very close to Filton, which is home to many businesses including; Airbus, Rolls Royce and the MOD.
  • Really great place to stay. Lovely decoration, comfortable bed, fab location and fantastic hosts. Would definitely stay again! Thank you for a great stay!

Private quiet room, very clean, new furniture. The living room is huge, with a pull out sofa in case its needed. You can cook, and I do accept a cat pet if you happen to travel with it :). The garden on the back of the house is very relaxing to be in.
The flat is in a relatively new house situated on a very quiet street that is circulated only by residents because it ends almost at this house. There is parking almost for sure.

Comfortable bedroom with high ceilings, bedside table with reading lamp, and a comfortable armchair. Non smoking, Wi-Fi available. The bathroom is shared with the host, there is a shower over the bath.. We have recently fitted a toilet upstairs which is available to share with the host when this spare room is not occupied which is most of the time. Tea, coffee and kettle provided in the room. You will need to fetch some oat milk in a jug from the kitchen.
3 bedroom Victorian townhouse,(with a new bathroom)in a vibrant multi cultural area of Bristol only 20 minute walk from the centre of Bristol. Train station, and bus links only 5 min walk. Cycle routes around the city, access is 5 minutes to the cycle path which leads into town. This is a family home, although our two kids have grown up, and are moving on. We aim to continue with this kind of vibe. It is a short walk to the local cafes and shops. Most cultures are catered for in this area.
A vibrant multi cultural area which has been gentrified. There are lots of cafes and restaurants to choose from close by.

Friendly, family home with space to relax and experience calm from the vibrant multi-cultural area. 'Hygge' cosy, yin feeling home in contrast to the buzzing atmosphere to the St Marks Rd. Where there are lots of cafe, pubs, local shops all with a community vibe. Generally a pretty laid back, trendy kind of place. You’ll notice I love wood and there is a natural feel to the place. We have two lovely ginger cats too; Max and Maisie
Earthy, cosy home. Spacious living room with log burner. Other rooms light, airy and still that cosy feel. My home is calm and quiet inside, lots of natural wood throughout giving a naturalist vibe. The garden is south facing and is a real sun trap in the summer months. A small grass garden surrounded by flowers. The calm you will experience inside is in contrast to the busy St Mark's Rd. It can be busy and sometimes noisy and especially on a weekend summer evening. The street is a free parking zone, however watch out for the single yellow line directly outside my house. You can only park there after 6pm and on Sundays or bank holiday Mondays. It is easiest to park during the day and into the evening you may have to park on a nearby street. Very central to great night life. Near train, bus and bike links. Also a really good night out simply staying in Easton. Great vibe; all independently and locally owned and run pubs, restaurants and cafes with a heart. You'll feel the community just walking down the road.
Vibrant street with all you need within a few minutes walk. Sweet Mart for every ingredient imaginable plus all everyday essentials. My favorite cafe's in Bristol: - Thali - No12. Greenbank pub for ale, wine, music, comedy or pizza. A family vibe before 7pm. A community hub. Buses into the city centre on Stapleton Rd. Just turn left out of my house and right at the bottom. You'll see the us stop. We even have a train station. Stapleton Road, 5 mins walk, on right past Sugar Loaf pub. Green space; the Snuff Mills walk along the river, You forget your in the city, Eastville park too. Almost forgetting that opposite me is the most delicious bakery with incredible sourdough We now have two young cats, almost a year old. They are happy inside and out and very friendly.

The house is situated in a quiet leafy suburb of Bristol. Nearby, you will be able to take advantage of the regular bus service to the city centre. There are supermarkets, other local shops, a gym & even a park within walking distance from the house. So you'll have easy access to all the requirements. The house is a semi-detached property with three bedrooms. The room in which you'll be staying is cosy, with a single bed and has been recently decorated. There are no children or pets in the house. This is a non-smoking house. However if you are a smoker you may smoke outside the house. You will have the use of a shared bathroom, as well as access to the kitchen and the living room. The garden will also be at your disposal in case you need to step outside for a bit of relaxation. I have a garage which can be used to store bikes etc. There is also off-street parking if required. I'm an easy going, fun loving person. I like travelling & getting to know other cultures. I enjoy the outdoors, and nature. if you have any questions, please get in touch and I'll be happy to try to accommodate any requests.

  • The host was very friendly, picking us up to go home and taking us to our destination, making us feel welcome and helping us with whatever we needed. The house was very clean and was in a very nice neighborhood with supermarkets nearby and the bus stop that took us to the center in 10-15 minutes.

Casita Paraiso Eco Chalet is one of the UK's first tiny houses. Designed by sculptor/architect Miguel Humbert, it is a romantic little hideaway for one or two. Music venues, cafes, restaurants nearby and the City Farm 20 minutes down the hill in St. Werburghs. It is very central and perfect for exploring all that Bristol has to offer, train 5 minutes away, national coach and busses. We are in the heart of cosmopolitan Montpelier- voted the 'hippest' neighbourhood in UK by TravelSupermarket
Casita provides a perfect space to relax and unwind, whether you're here for work or play. It's a sun-trap, south-facing, with a tall rosebush for shade on the wooden decking and seating. You will need to mount the curved, hand built stairs, to the cozy king sized bed above. Its porthole window comes from the Bristol docks, and some of the design is slightly Rudolf Steiner-ish. It was my son's space for many years, well out of sight and sound of mama for his overnight guests..... The main house has been our family home for over 28 years, so we are well equipped for many things, and events. Our first floor bedroom was the home of Bristol's first ever salsa and lambada dance studio in 1991..
Walking down Picton Street, the first shopping centre of the old city, you will be greeted by local artist Alex Lucas's pink mural "Welcome to Montpelier". There are a number of gorgeous historic buildings nearby. 5 minutes’ walk takes you to St. Werburghs, an oasis of tranquillity in the heart of the city. Highlights include the city farm, self-build community ‘The Yard’, numerous allotments, Gaudi-like cafe and local's favourite pub The Farm. 10 minutes’ walk takes you to the organic supermarket and cafe Better Foods. Richmond Road is a particularly special place, with an eclectic mix of residents. We have a home for the learning disabled, people from various religious and ethnic backgrounds, grand colourful Grade 2 listed buildings and Daddy G/Massive Attack's tastefully period home and garden. We came here partly because it reminded us of Ladbroke Grove & Portobello Road- positive and creative people from all over the world. The excellent Cadbury pub is 30 seconds down the hill, a great place to meet friendly residents from our wonderful community. Bristol has been getting quite a reputation for its food scene, and in Montpelier it doesn’t have to break the bank! For eating out your choices are endless - from the timeless Bristolian cafe, to the exotic Thali Cafe and arguably the best pizza in town at Napolita. In the morning you can walk down to Herbert’s, a family-run bakery that you can be easily found by following your nose. If you want to work up an appetite then why not try the Bristol Climbing Centre, a stunning set of climbing and bouldering walls set inside an old church (you can even climb up in to the clock tower!).
  • Thanks for the wonderful stay. Anita was helpful with places to visit in Bristol and the location was perfect!

  • Anita was very communicative and friendly and extremely accomodating. You have to go through the house to reach the airbnb bit and it just felt like I lived there with here and she knew me lol. Good stay and very nice environment. Town is about 15-20 walk and takes you on a journey through lots of places to eat. The tiny house is very cozy and stays warm easily.

  • Second time of staying. Beautiful space and in what I think is the best area in Bristol. Thanks again and I am sure I will be back if you’ll have me.

  • Absolutely loved our stay at this tiny house! Went for a couple days with my boyfriend, and it was our first time visiting Bristol. The location was great, away from the Main Street so nice and quiet, but just down the road were some lovely cafe/brunch spots. And down a little further some fun and unique pubs/bars. The tiny house itself was perfect for a couple days. It was a little cold at times, but with the heater on for a little bit, and the extra blankets provided it was easily manageable. The host Anita was lovely, responded quickly to any messages, and helped with any questions we had. Highly recommend!

  • Absolutely gorgeous place, only a 15 minute walk go cabot circus and the samr to the harbour, no Wi-Fi in chalet if that is important to you, we found it fine without

    Jake2019-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • Anita is so friendly and helpful. The 'treehouse', as I kept calling it, was so pretty, cosy and unique. It was like glamping! The location is ideal with Stokes Croft just down the road and the Bristolian cafe is a must - we ate there twice over the long weekend!

    Felicity2019-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • Anita’s house is a lovely classic Bristolian house! Her friendliness and kindness helped me so much as I just moved to Bristol when I stayed with her. The cabin is cute and cosy, providing plenty of personal space :))) do be warned that the wifi only just stretches to the cabin but that is mentioned on the listing. + this is a prime location! All the quirky Bristolian shops and gigs just around the corner! Come and see what awaits you
