The house was built in 1718 as a private residence for the personal physician of the Privy Councilor von Jungwirth at the foot of the Schlossberg. In the 19th century, Franz Liszt performed on the occasion of Goethe's birthday in the room that today serves as a living area and kitchen. The apartment was formerly also a retail store, including for Heidelberg's first furniture store.

Our house at the outskirts of Gaiberg is surrounded by meadows and forests, all accessible via numerous hiking and cycling paths and only 10 km away from the City Centre of Heidelberg. The newly furnished sous-terrain flat is your comfy home base for romantic walks or long hikes / bike tours through Odenwald. If sore feet keep you from hiking you reach the vibrant city centre of Heidelberg within 15 min by car. It takes even less time to drive to the famous castle. Car is recommended!

The apartment is furnished, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, microwave, dishes, pots... if anything is missing, just let us know. We'll get almost anything. We want you to feel comfortable.

Beautiful two-room apartment (about 60 m²), in the beautiful Mauer near Heidelberg. The apartment has a large living room with a sitting area, a TV, as well as a dining area with an open kitchen. The kitchen is of very high quality & modern design. In the hallway to the bedroom there is also a closet to store clothes. The bedroom consists of a double bed, as well as a closet. Next to the apartment there is a garden (lawn) which can be used.
