Haus Iris is an independent small terraced house on two floors with its own entrance. Downstairs are the bathroom, the kitchen-living room and the living room with access to the covered terrace. In our house, we read a lot, philosophize, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, pure reduction! Adventure instead of luxury.

Our half-timbered house, built around 1550, is located on the longest adjoining half-timbered house street in Lower Saxony and due to its central location in the city center, all sights are easily accessible on foot in a few minutes. The coziness of the half-timbered house is immediately noticeable. It is very family-friendly and our capable property management is always available. It has three levels, with the bedrooms on the upper floors only accessible via narrow stairs.

Welcome to the Altstadt-Malerhaus Einbeck. Our 120 square meter large and stylish vacation apartment for up to 6 people is located on the 1st floor of a 150 year old half-timbered house. The house was the living and working place of our great-grandfather Karl Schrader. He was a painter in two senses: a master painter and an artist. In his younger years, he was also involved in the restoration of the famous ceiling painting of St. Michael's Church in Hildesheim.
