  • First, the house and location is incredible. It was remote and peaceful, perfect if you're trying to get away. Also, even if you're looking just to be away from a city atmosphere but still be able to connect, their WiFi is incredibly fast! Crystal and her family were amazing! Such great hosts, and I couldn't have asked for a better stay!

    Kiel2020-05-05T00:00:00Z
  • What a badass family, breathtaking views, and incredible home furnishings. Everything exceeded my expectations (which are usually through the roof) but especially their hospitality. The best money I have spent in a long time. #selfcare Crystal let me borrow her top of the line mountain bike to explore the TID, (a water canal) as far as my heart desire: witnessing a spectacular view of a snowy Mt.Shasta and Mt.Whitney in the background. Fresh eggs and donkey alarms started the day off right with giggles and charm. The bed was really comfortable, the bathroom had heated floors, every window had a beautiful wooden finish, AND there's a really deep bathtub. We will definitely be staying here again! Thank you so much Crystal, Jason and Hannah. Also Rio, Pete, and Juniper (the dogs). No special thanks to Luna though, the angsty black piggy. (Haha) The wood stove was perfect to roast our root beer flavored marshmallows. #sorrynotsorry It felt so homey. Thanks again!

  • this Air BnB was truly the retreat we had been looking for. tucked away on the mountain, amongst the trees, with the moon and the stars as our only light source was an unforgettable experience. we were greeted by their friendly dogs upon our arrival and the animal meet and greet just continued from there. cooking was a little difficult without a sink in our studio but it was a fair trade off for the wood burning fireplace, heated bathroom floors and views to die for. highly recommend!

    Kathy2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing place! All of the animals are so sweet and our dogs got along very well.

    Sophie2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful snowy getaway! Brought our 10 month old son up to play in the snow and we were not disappointed with how much there was. Location was gorgeous and really not that far away from Ashland. This is a studio that has the "bedroom" with a wall that only goes about 2/3 of the way to the ceiling. I mentionthis because it played a huge factor in how our naps and bedtime went with our little guy that is used to sleeping in his own room in the dark. We also had to play goalie to keep him away from the woodstove (which keeps this place super warm once it gets going!) since there wasn't a baby fence in the studio. Might not be the most toddler friendly place. The bed was super comfy. Everything very clean and Crystal even did the dishes for us. She offered to lend us a variety of items during our stay and told us where some cool hiking and sledding spots were. The dogs were super sweet and it was so fun watching them run around and play in the snow. All in all it was a great weekend with great hosts!

    Carrie2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • My twin 9 year old boys and I were on a snowshoeing adventure and wanted a fun place to stay in the Greensprings. What a wonderful property and accommodations. Great communication from our host and everything was clean and as advertised. I especially appreciated the heated bathroom floors after a long hike in the snow. My boys loved the farm pig that came out to visit. We will definitely be back.

Cozy, attractive 350 square ft. studio, serene cottage at edge of Little Shasta Valley. Yogurt, fruit, pastry and hot beverage plus more for morning breakfast. No smoking on entire property. Wifi,Television- DVD player. Perfect for visits to Mt. Shasta, convenient for travelling between Washington, Oregon and all parts of California just 6 miles off of I-5 freeway east of Yreka. Pets welcome upon approval with crates and leashes.Shared Full Bath in house. No cleaning fee required.
The studio guest house space was a surveyors office before I purchased the house. After a year of living here I started to transform the office to an art studio to teach young people art. From that plan I chose to make it a guest house, doing most of the work myself, to create a cozy quiet place to retreat and relax.
It is a very quiet neighborhood surrounded by retired people and a block of dirt road on the edge of a small ranching community. I am on a dead end street so there is little to no traffic most times of the day.
  • Susan’s place is comfortable and homey. She has a great space that is relaxing and adorable.

    Chloe2020-05-02T00:00:00Z
  • Susan was so sweet ! Easy check in and very clean! We will be back

    Mandy2020-04-30T00:00:00Z
  • Susan's place was great! The beds were comfy, the cottage was clean, and I really appreciated the extra touches. I would highly recommend this cottage as it greatly exceeded my expectations.

  • Susan’s cabin is roomy, comfortable and well stocked. Loved the furnishings and amenities. Very cute and clean. Everything I could have possibly needed was there! I will definitely come back again on my next trip to and from California.

    Glenda2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Susan’s place is absolutely adorable, and filled with helpful notes and thoughtful touches throughout the space. While there’s no bathroom in the space, she makes easy access to the house via a close, and mostly covered carport area. And there’s a clean porta-potty thing in the room that makes a midnight pee trouble-free. I hope to be back! Definitely worth stopping back!!

    Beth2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • It is an amazing experience to stay in Susan’s cottage which is so cozy, so pretty, so warm! We love the colors and all decorations. She is a great artist! This is my best Abnb experience so far!

    Roy2020-01-30T00:00:00Z
  • Susan's space is sparkling clean and super comfortable! I highly recommend this space and would definitely stay again if I am ever back in town. Susan was great with communication, and even provides small snacks etc to make your stay as comfortable as possible. When we arrived she already at the heater going so we didn't freeze and the beds were very comfortable. My friend came with me and he took the twin bed, while I took the queen. We both slept great after 5 hours of driving!

  • Really happy to have stayed here! It was very clean, 2 beds plus a couch, kitchenette, bathroom/shower. Everything was really clean and inviting. It's a very calm environment to just get some peace and quiet. Good place to stay for a night's rest while traveling on the I-5.

  • This was a charming place. It was cozy and inviting with thoughtful touches such as extra down comforters, a flashlight to walk across to the restroom/dinette, fluffy towels and cereal, coffee or tea for morning.

  • Just what we needed for a road trip to visit family in LA. Elaine's place was just off the freeway. Easy to check-in and cozy. We wound up staying both on the way to and on our way back from LA. Highly recommended.

    Toby2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Charming place! Super clear instructions on location. I was able to find it late at night! Seemed spooky at night, but in the morning it turned out to be very nice. The neighborhood cats are very friendly. :)

    Michelle2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • Our overnight stop at Elaine's was just what we were looking for on our way from San Francisco to Vancouver, BC - convenient, welcoming, and cozy, so we could get a good night's rest, and be on our way the following morning. Thanks Elaine!

  • This was such a beautiful cabin with all the right touches. We loved the enclosed patio for privacy purposes! The view was pretty and so was the drive up. If you want a nice relaxing getaway this is the spot. Not too far from a fully stocked grocery store (30min) and had two little cute restaurants to visit.

  • Perfect getaway, quiet and a great place to go exploring. The cabin was very clean, all the amenities we're as described, and the outdoor areas were fantastic. Can't wait to come back.

    Amber2019-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • A true gem! My husband and I stayed for 3 nights. Super quiet, relaxing spot with a wonderland of nearby outdoor activities. A PCT trailhead is less than a mile from the cabin which made for a spectacular day hike. There is fishing, boating and swimming at the lake as well. The cabin was cozy and perfect for two people, small but excellent use of space and very comfortable. The bedroom is a loft so you can’t stand up all the way in it but comfortable all the same.

  • Adorable, clean, and charming. I stayed in a room with a shared bath which was very clean and the complimentary soaps smelled amazing. When I woke up, the smell of fresh coffee from the lobby wafted into my room and pulled me out of my deep sleep which was induced by the extremely comfortable bed. This is definitely going to be my go-to spot for any future Ashland stays!

This is a brand-new tiny house that's located in the countryside. There's a double matress on the loft that's serves as the sleeping area, also a sofa bed in the living room. Since it's a tiny house we don't have a formal kitchen. We do have have a microwave, coffee maker and a fridge. We live beside this house so you can easily contact us if you any concern.
It's a tiny house, the double bed is located on the loft.
We are sorrounded by fields and orchards. It's 2 miles away from the freeway. 6 miles away from downtown Medford , 10 miles from Ashland and Jacksonville.

  • This cottage/farmhouse is by far and away my favorite airbnb stay! The space is bright with natural light and the decor adds to the fresh, clean feel. Kym and Keith were so helpful and kind during our stay. They have also included special touches for a comfortable visit (my personal favorites being the best smelling bubble bath EVER, natural spring drinking water, and complimentary chocolates). This is really a special place and I HIGHLY recommend it :).

This charming tiny house is situated 5 minutes from downtown Ashland, in a quiet part of town. It is simple, clean and bright. There are ranches across the street, the bear creek flows nearby and grizzly peak is visible. It is parked between the garage and the hedge and close to a shared "luxurious" outdoor restroom. ( it is a small space, only meant for one person)
Guests will be staying close to two other small trailers that are also rented by airbnb guests. The restrooms are around the corner, about 20 steps away, and also shared with 1 to 3 other airbnb guests. Note: There is a reggae band that plays in the garage beside the tiny house a couple of days a week for a few hours. They stop playing at 8pm.
This tiny house is 5 minutes away from downtown Ashland. It is parked on a beautiful land with a creek running by, the mountains in view, and a ranch on the other side of the street. Downtown Ashland has a lot to offer: amazing bakeries, such as Mix, great breweries, such as Standing stone. The Oregon Shakespeare festival is taking place from March till October and there are many beautiful mountains to go explore on bike or foot. Lithia park is definitely worth the visit, with it's lush plant life, beautiful creek and gentle walking paths.
  • Wonderful stay at this beautiful tiny home. It was perfect for my stay while I looked for a home in Ashland. I called it my sleeping pod. It was a comfortable place to rest - all I needed! Thanks again!! 5 stars

Beautiful hand built rustic log house nestled in the Cascade mountains of Southern Oregon. 15 minutes to downtown Ashland, 20 minutes to Mt. Ashland Ski Resort, and a five minute walk to Pacific Crest Trail. This home is the perfect quiet, serene getaway: close enough to Ashland to be convenient, yet completely secluded and private. Features include private covered parking, fully equipped kitchen, private deck overlooking the forest, seasonal sauna, and walking trails.
COVID-19 Note: While we are all needing to be very cautious, I will be blocking the day before you will arrive as soon as you make your reservation. In this way, I can be sure to follow the recommendations of the CDC and Airbnb to make the house as safe for you as possible. That is why I have turned off instant booking for now. Also, I've increased the cleaning fee a bit to help pay for the extra cleaning time. Ashland has changed dramatically since mid-March. The Shakespeare Festival plans to reopen September 8. For now, writing this on May 1, the small business shops are closed and restaurants offer curbside pick-up. We all have the hope this will change not too long from now. Grocery stores have done a wonderful job setting up protections and most people wear masks when they shop. The local Farmer's Market is open again. Things like rafting and visiting Crater Lake are on hold for now. Thankfully, our beautiful Pacific Crest Trail is completely open at all the nearby trailheads, green with spring and wildflowers. Few people come up to hike or run, maybe three cars at a trailhead during the week and six on the weekend (more or less). The house is located on the Siskiyou Summit just south of Ashland, part of our Mt. Ashland Homestead since 1982. Especially during this time of great difficulties due to the pandemic, here is a place to find comfort and ease in the midst of high mountain forests. The forty acres of forest (unlogged) are the site of the historic old wagon (and early automobile) road, now our driveway, crossing the summit from Oregon to California. This has been our family home since 1982, and we've been caring for this peaceful land ever since. We are part of the bird flyway and our forest is home to thousands of birds. Animals are primarily deer and fox. On the property there are three houses (the log house, the main house, and the pond house), all far enough away from one another to be private and secluded. I live permanently on the property with my dog Kellen in the Pond House, together with my son Nico and his dog Wilfred. I enjoy meeting people and will be available if you need anything during your stay, but other than that, you will have complete privacy. The Forest House will also be rented at times, but has a separate driveway, parking and entrance, forest in between, and won't affect any aspect of your stay in the Log House. The house has a key pad entrance so you can check in even if I'm not home when you arrive. The central heating is adjustable to your comfort. Many guests like to enjoy a fire in the wood stove mornings and evenings. All details for getting to the house, getting into the house, using the wifi, house rules, and everything else will be available to you upon booking in a detailed itinerary section.
The Log House is situated far from any neighbors, making this the perfect quiet retreat. On the 40 acres of forested private land, there are two ponds, some walking trails, a seasonal sauna that can be used upon request, a gazebo great for hosting family dinners, and great view points of Mt. Ashland, Mt. Shasta, and the surrounding mountain ranges. Within five minute walking distance is a Pacific Crest Trail trailhead for hiking, or endless trail running. Great bike rides take you up to Mt. Ashland or down to Emigrant Lake on beautiful roads with few cars. From about Christmas through at least the end of February, one can usually play in the snow. Build sled runs and snowmen, snowshoe or cross-country ski from the house (I have many snowshoes and x-country skis are rented in town). Mt. Ashland Ski Area of course has rentals for all levels. June through October, the mountain offers beautiful alpine hiking, huge wildflower meadows, and views of mountain ranges in all directions. The forest road opens up to vehicle travel as well.
  • This is a great place I’d highly recommend it

  • If I could give 10 stars I would! Micheline is the sweetest most accommodating host ever. Aside from the location being perfect she made us feel so comfortable and welcome, always checking in on us making sure we had everything we needed. She has the cutest dogs and they got along so wonderfully with our dogs. I will definitely be returning! It was such a pleasure meeting Micheline and staying on her beautiful property! Everyone should have a chance to experience something like this.

  • Don’t pass this opportunity to stay at a truly magical home during your stay in Ashland. The pictures are completely accurate the sauna is wonderful the kitchen is well stocked, with the best stocked coffee and tea selection I have ever come across, the beds and bedding are very comfortable and cozy. The wood stove is easy to operate with plenty of dry kindling to keep your fire. Well stoked. The location is beautiful and peaceful and adjacent to the Pacific Crest Trail. The host is very friendly, accommodating and easy to communicate any needs with followed up by quick responses by the host. I will definitely be coming back on my next trip to Ashland.

  • Wonderfully quaint place. Greatly enjoyed the deep tub with plenty of hot water and the solarium where we stargazed. Thank you!

    Kevin2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I stayed a week in Micheline's cabin for our honeymoon. It was very cozy and private, and I was surprised at how warm it stayed, even in February without using the wood stove. We loved being able to go adventuring in the woods and on the nearby Pacific crest trail, and also how close it was to both Ashland and Medford for eating out and shopping. Everything was very clean and comfortable, I would definitely recommend

    Kathleen2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • What a beautiful, little log home! Micheline is an absolutely amazing host and a joy to talk to. Communication is clear and prompt. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and appliances including an espresso machine and delicious local coffee. A wood stove makes the living room a cozy place to watch the snow fall. This is the ideal space for relaxation if you're looking for some peace and quiet.

1 bedroom, 1 bath suite, private entrance and living room, in quiet rural setting. About 20 minutes drive to both Ashland and Jacksonville. 1 mile from Medford Sports Park.
The newly remodeled 1 bedroom 1 bath guest suite is attached to our home but has a private entrance, making the space quiet and peaceful. We're located just about a mile off of I-5, and parking is available. The new Tempurpedic Queen size bed comfortably sleeps 2 and all sheets and linens are provided. Also we'd like our guests to know that in lieu of the coronavirus outbreak we will be taking extra care to disinfect the suite before your stay here. If you've seen any of our reviews you'd see we typically get 5 stars for cleanliness and take it seriously. We'll be sure to sanitize all surfaces including things like door handles, water bottles, tv remote, virtually anything you may handle.
Very quiet, private road with open scenery all around.

    Jennifer2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • Within my limited Airbnb experiences, the Garden Suite has been, by far, my favorite. Most all of my prior stays have been very clean; the Garden Suite was exceptionally clean, and being also the farthest from a sterile space. The rooms were warm and comfortable; a very welcoming retreat. I should certainly try to stay again if in the Medford/Ashland area, especially combined with a dinner at a Polish restaurant just a few miles down the road.

    Derek2020-02-07T00:00:00Z

The 1973 Kit Companion is a 15-foot trailer converted to maximize space and guest experience. Featuring a water dispenser, coffee maker, tea kettle, lending library, and games; this adorable camper is both functional and gives guests a unique and comfortable space. The “Kit” is small, private, and located conveniently close to Ashland downtown and Interstate 5.
The Kit Camper features a double bed on a raised platform, with dual-controlled heating mattress cover. A built-in platform at the front of the trailer functions as both couch and secondary sleeping space. We provide access to our home bathroom which we share with other AirBnB guests who stay in our indoor guest room. Guest towels are provided in the Kit Camper closet. We provide complementary freshly ground coffee, sweetener, non-dairy creamer, and an assortment of tea for guests to enjoy. The kitchen area has dishes, glasses (both wine and water), bottle opener, coffee cups, silverware, dishtowels and cloth napkins. Additional guest-care items in the trailer include tissues, paper towels, hand-sanitizer and essential oil sprays. There is a 1-1/2 gallon water dispenser filled with drinking water on the kitchen counter. To cool the space, there is an air conditioner for summer months. To warm the space, there is a space heater for winter months. Please note: the original camper stove and sink have been removed.
Although we are located just 1.5 miles from downtown Ashland, our property feels rural. There are horses, mules, and cows in the pastures across the street. Guests enjoy the view of Grizzly Peak, rising above the valley to the North. Neighborhood grocery stores, local movie theatre, and a variety of shops are a short five-minute drive.

  • I had a very peaceful stay. The location was beautiful, serene, and the camper was very comfortable, just don’t forget to turn the heater on at night. I’m typically a sneezy person in carpeted areas but Joe’s camper is super clean so no problem there. He’s a very easygoing host so I felt very comfortable using the restroom inside. His dog is also very welcoming :)

And the heated mattress was amazing for a chilly night! Joe was a friendly and flexible host. I definitely hope to book again.

  • This house is adorable, perfect for 1-2 people and has everything you need. Beautiful space, perfectly clean plus a large tub! Micalah is incredibly communicative and thoughtful.

    Ashley2020-04-26T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is a complete gem. From the moment I entered, I knew I was meant to find it. The decor is mid-century modern with a touch of cabin chic. It looks out onto bucolic hills and it tucked away in a steep area without sidewalks or much street lighting at night, so night-time walks need a little attentiveness. The cabin is secure and inviting. The kitchen is well stocked and I was able to cook meals up to my exacting standards without worry. There is coffee and a French press on hand, as well as a tea kettle, cooking oils and spices. The bathroom is spotless and updated–with a large tub for two. The bed is incredibly comfortable and I slept soundly every night. By day, I found it a warm, inviting and functional place to receive clients and hold meetings. I was sad to leave!

It has everything you need and a beautiful view of the hills to watch the sunset reflect. We ended up having an emergency with our dog and Micalah was extremely understanding, kind and responsive when we needed an extra night at the last minute. I highly recommend this place and we will for sure be back!

  • I chose Kristi and John’s place for its proximity to my mom’s assisted living facility about a mile away. I didn’t have a car, and soon realized that the walk was a bit harrowing -having to cross a couple of nerve-wracking entrances and exits to a freeway. In addition to a clean and peaceful space with all the amenities I could possibly want, Kristi went above and beyond by ferrying me back and forth to my mom’s place a couple of times and told me I could have asked for a ride at any point. The place was an oasis of calm, and I will definitely book a future stay.

    Liann2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Krisit's place is sparkling clean and comfortable for two people. The county home is still very convenient to the highway and to Ashland. The bed is comfortable. The room is modern and feels new. This room is a good value and recommended.

  • Hands down the nicest “boarding house” hotel style experience I’ve ever had. Love the sink in the room and the set-up with the mini-soaps and towels was lovely. One shower for all the ladies on the floor was a bit challenging, perhaps adding another shower facility would be good. Otherwise, lovely stay and definitely would return/recommend to others.

  • Nice space for the price. I had more than enough room as a solo traveler. I enjoyed the 1.1 mile walk to downtown. It's possible to go entirely on side streets and avoid Main street if you'd rather have a quieter walk in a residential neighborhood. Bert and Nancy are very nice. Please note that sound does travel in the house but Bert and Nancy were very responsive when I contacted them about it. I would stay here again.

    Larissa2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay, loved the place- clean, spacious and a great location. Everything was great- looking forward to our next stay.

  • The suite was clean and comfortable. I had everything I needed. Hosts are thoughtful and welcoming. Location is convenient to downtown. I would gladly stay here again.

  • Nice, convenient location...

    Linda2020-02-08T00:00:00Z
  • I had a good stay the first time I was there so I immediately rebooked for my next trip and will do so for ones in the future. Hosts are great and the place is a very good deal, but honestly my favorite things going are the space is that it just feels very good to sleep and wake up in, which is rare to find anywhere.

    Alex2020-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • Bert's place is in a great location right in town but feels very private and secluded. It's reasonably priced, nicely arranged and spacious, perfect for a single or 2 friends.

All recently updated, this space brings in modern luxury design, travel convenience and location, location, location! New Cal King bed surrounded with LED lighting, soft rugs, and plush bedding. Private parking eliminates all those downtown parking restrictions and time limitations.
Please note that this suite is semi attached to our family's home. We have taken great lengths to add additional sound proofing material between the one shared wall. You may occasionally hear the faint sounds of life happening on the other side.
We are downtown and close to everything! OSome of our favorites are the bread from The Village Baker, coffee from Case and the downtown farmer's market happening every Saturday in the summer (even during COVID-19!).

    Carolyn2020-04-10T00:00:00Z
  • Wish I could have stayed another night because of how peaceful Ashland is. I also wish my stay wasn’t in the midst of the pandemic because the location was so close to everything! Either way, the decorations were welcoming, the kitchen was perfect and quiet at night.

    Molly2020-04-01T00:00:00Z
  • What a cool place to stay while visiting downtown Ashland. This was filled with lots of vintage touches with a super comfortable bed. We would love to come back and stay soon!

  • Nice space, perfect for a stop in Ashland

    Christopher2020-03-22T00:00:00Z
  • Leslie's suite is unbelievably cute, stylish, and the perfect home for a visit to Ashland. It's largely spread out, between the bathroom, living area with bed, and giant kitchen. Such cute decor on the walls and a feel sense of comfort. The space heater was an added bonus on a cold, Oregon evening. I am grateful that I got to sleep here during my long roadtrip. I would absolutely go back for a longer Ashland visit. Leslie thought of so many things to make a stay in this Airbnb memorable!

    Kayla2020-03-21T00:00:00Z

This space is full of natural light and perfect for a quick overnight stay or longer Ashland visit. The home is located on the edge of town with horses and pasture across the street and stunning mountain views. We are close to I-5 and to downtown making us an ideal stop for travelers. We have abundant extra linens and a window AC unit to make sure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable and an extra twin mattress for a third guest if necessary.
The house has an open floor plan making it easy to share the space. There are front and back porches to add to the open shared space giving relief from the rain or sun depending on the season.
  • The room was clean and the atmosphere was excellent.

  • Joe’s place was a great Ashland Oregon place. Great hospitality and wonderful bedroom and bath.

    Debbie2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Joe was very welcoming to my two cats. He even let me introduce them to his dog, Lucy. However Lucy was fearful towards them. Joe was extremely friendly, he even let me use his rags to take care of my trouble-making cats.

    Matthew2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • This was my third time staying at Joe’s place. The rate is so reasonable and the home, bedroom and bathroom are spotless. The room is perfect for a solo traveler like me. It’s truly my favorite Airbnb rental because of its creature comforts, cleanliness, surrounding beauty and super chill vibe.

    Nancey2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • Everything is perfect about this place. Lovely host and a beautiful house.

    Kartik2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Joe's place was wonderful. Very clean, lovely design touches, nice view from the room, comfortable bed, and a very sweet dog, Lucy which was like frosting on the cake. He was very easy to talk to, and I felt very comfortable.

    Rita2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • This may be the best Air BnB I have experienced! My partner and I often choose private rooms in homes when we use Air BnB. If that's what you're looking for, Joe's place is a very high value with a low cost. Excellent location on Main Street but just outside of town, easy checkin, comfortable, clean and tidy, great amenities. If you cook during your stay, the kitchen is great for that much needed at- home cooking experience, and it is fully outfitted with clean, quality supplies. We really appreciated all of the thoughtful touches in the room, like water and glasses, extra blankets, dark window drapes, house and room keys. Joe and his partner were wonderful and very nice to talk to, but also gave us plenty of space to do our own thing. Overall, fantastic stay and I would highly recommend it!

Oakhouse by the creek is a 5 bedroom house from the 40's, that is partly remodeled. While it is still in the process of being remodeled, it has a welcoming and comfortable feel to it. It is built on a property with access to the bear creek and a beautiful view of the mountains. Tucked away in a quiet and grassy corner, it gives the weary traveler an opportunity to retreat. It is about 5 minutes away from Ashland city center if one choses to spend an evening in town.
The space is shared with the owner, a roommate and 1 or 2 other guests, if the other guest room is occupied. The house has a variety of spaces that are both shared and private. The bathroom and kitchen are shared. If the desire is there for shared meals, it is a possibility, however if there is a need for quiet and alone time, that is also possible in the guest bedroom, or in the living room dedicated to the guests.
The house is 5 minutes away from the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, the beloved coffee shop and bakery, Noble coffee shop, as well as many great breweries and restaurants.
  • This was the first time I’ve done the shared room thing. I typically rent the entire place so I did have some some trepidation but it was awesome and exceeded my expectations. First of all, my room and bed were very comfortable and quiet. Although I didn’t cook very often, having access to beautiful kitchen was great. I was also impressed that a cleaning person showed up periodically too. I enjoyed sitting by the creek and reading my book. I’m really glad I chose to stay there and Zoe is an amazing host. She’s very responsive and accommodating. I felt right at home.

  • Clean and cozy, this simple room in a lovely home was ideal for my visit to Ashland -- quiet, congenial, just up the way from my weekend event. Zoe's welcome guidance and answers to my questions were especially helpful. I look forward to staying with her again when next I'm in the area.

  • Great place for a couple! Very nice & super clean. Amazing views, and goodies. Buckley the golden retriever was a great plus!! The family was very nice!

    Tanisha2020-05-06T00:00:00Z
  • Pamela’s cute little cottage is so cozy and warm. Perfect resting spot for southern Oregon adventures. Great little closed off patio and hammock for stargazing and I have to mention the most beautiful retriever, Buckley. He made the whole trip.

    Chris2020-04-30T00:00:00Z
  • The guesthouse is beautiful and thoughtfully constructed and planned. We loved the private outdoor patio and had several meals outside. The farm is lovely and the host family kind and thoughtful. There are amazing amenities in the guesthouse with plenty of towels, blankets, pillows, snacks, coffee, etc. The setting is gorgeous. It was not sunflower season, but the farm itself was very scenic nonetheless. The only thing we didn't love was more of a personal preference, but the guesthouse has a soft pillowtop mattress and we both prefer firm mattresses. However, we slept well and found the guest suite very comfortable overall. It's also sparkling clean and appears new. It is a close drive to Medford or Ashland, and there are also some restaurants in the small town itself. We highly recommend staying here!

    Lia2020-04-26T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful, meticulously clean, Pamela was immediately responsive and extremely considerate. The setting is picturesque, peaceful and private. I only wish I had more time to enjoy it and had visited while the sunflowers were in bloom. 🌻

    Jill2020-04-24T00:00:00Z
  • This is the cutest place!! Best Airbnb we’ve stayed at thus far! Clean, modern, quiet, private. Couldn’t ask for more. Definitely want to come back during the summer time and see the sunflower farm 🌻. Highly Recommended!

    Heather2020-04-23T00:00:00Z
  • Pamela’s place is a wonderful place to stay! We had a U-Haul because we were moving and Pamela graciously allowed us to park the truck in her driveway. The space itself was very stylish and super clean. There were also nice little touches like sanitized sheets and some small foods for breakfast. We would love to come back and stay here when the sunflowers are in bloom!

Our cottage is comfortably and tastefully furnished. There is a wood burning stove for coziness in the living room and added Heat Pump/AC. A wide screen TV with Wifi, Netflix and HBO. The kitchen is well appointed for longer stays as are the bedroom and bath linens . The back patio has a bistro table and chairs. The cottage is off by itself; privacy and comfort are our main prerequisites.
Our luxuriously appointed private one bedroom cottage is approximately 1000 sq ft and consists of full kitchen with food basics supplied, dining room, living room with large flat screened TV and internet / wifi. The bathroom has a sink and toilet and a spacious shower. Oriental carpets are placed in three of the rooms. A heat pump for heating and air-conditioning is in the living room as is a wood burning stove. The kitchen stove is gas as is the barbecue for outdoor cooking. The back patio is located off the dining room with tasteful outdoor furniture and barbecue. We have beautiful vistas, privacy and a year round creek.
Open meadows, wildflowers, pines and deciduous trees; a year round creek. Good clean air and no noise other than bird song and the sound of running water and an occasional "Moo" in the distance!
  • This is without a doubt the best Airbnb I've stayed in. If you want a quiet escape, and you're not sure whether to book, do yourself a favor and reserve Steph's property. The highlights: -The kitchen is the best-stocked kitchen I've stayed at in an Airbnb. It has more than most regular homeowners' kitchens, and including items like a coffee grinder, french press, drip coffee maker, electric kettle, cuisinart, gas grill, a full spice rack, great cookware, and all the other essentials (oil, ketchup, grinding salt and pepper, sugar and flour). -The wood fire stove is wonderful and Steph has it stocked with firewood. There's a hand held butane torch to help light it. -The view over the valley is magical. Head down the driveway and hang a left or a right and there are very peaceful, quiet walks on the country roads. -The is the quietest place I've been in many years. On a clear night, the sky is exploding with stars. There's a wall unit for heat & ac with remote so it's easy to control the temperature. For somewhere so remote, I was amazed that my cell signal was very strong (three bars or more) and the satellite Wifi worked great as well (I had many video conference meetings during my stay). Steph also left so many considerate touches like fresh flowers, a bottle of wine, and flannel sheets. This is such a nice cottage and I intend on escaping back to it very soon.

    Travis2020-04-26T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful place and a great value. Stephanie has perfected the art of being a good Airbnb host. Also, you can’t beat the view here. Would definitely recommend!

    Shahin2020-04-12T00:00:00Z
  • We keep coming back here because the cottage is so great. Stephanie and John are gracious and generous. By far the best Airbnb anywhere.

    Cliff & Amy2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • FULL DISCLOSURE - I’m writing this with a blatant conflict of interest. This experience was so unique and special, I caught myself selfishly trying to keep this a secret by not writing this review. Let me put it this way- the wisdom, beauty, and respect that Stephanie and John wield, have placed a new spirit of kindness and humanity that gives me faith to face the new year with confidence. In my work, I have the liberty of traveling, so I am very well versed in staying in airbnbs and hotels. For the holidays, my husband and I were eagerly planning a trip to NYC or SF, but opted out after I realized I had a lot of work to complete. In blind trust and a sprinkle of fear, we found this cottage listing and after thoroughly reading the reviews and being under pressure, pulled the trigger and went off to the Colestin Valley the very next day. On arrival, we quickly noticed there was nothing contrived, fake, or staged about this cottage. Stephanie has created a spotless mini home that we wish we could have designed ourselves. The amenities were flawless and so well thought out, that anything we needed was within arms reach, all the way until the last hour of our stay. Extremely rare experience. The hosts live in the main house, but it was so private, we felt like we were in the middle of the woods by ourselves the whole time. This has, hands down, been the best lodging experience we’ve ever had, and we are already planning our next extended stay here. In the rush of life to succeed in this world, this was a shot of medicine that we direly needed, prioritizing what’s really important. LOVE. I could say, we were really lucky to have witnessed an older couple who loves so beautifully, they taught us how to love each other better. But this was no accident.

    Annie2019-12-25T00:00:00Z
  • My fiance and I were looking for a private getaway and we found this lovely little gem! Steph greeted us when we arrived, showed us around, and made sure we had everything to settle in. The cottage was lovely and absolutely perfect for a couple. It was well equipped and extremely clean! Steph had thoughtful little touches all around the house. Everything was in tip-top shape. We could not have found a more perfect place. The views were breath taking!!!! Steph was the most wonderful hostess and went out of her way to make sure we had the most pleasant weekend. I do not have a single complaint about our stay! 5 stars, 100%, A+! We will most certainly be back!

    Paige2019-11-30T00:00:00Z
  • Stephanie's place is awesome! It's only a few miles off the highway but you'd never know it once you get back there. Quiet, secluded, private, beautiful. We were there during the fall season and the colors of the trees were just magnificent! If you are looking for a private getaway, this is your place. Stephanie was very friendly and helpful when we first arrived, even bringing me coffee from her house because I forgot my own! The kitchen has everything you'd need, the house is warm, the bed is comfortable, and everything looks clean and nice. 10/10 would go back.

    Julie2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • From the moment we arrived we knew that we were in for a serene treat. We planned a peaceful six week stay and were never disappointed. The wild turkeys and deer were a pleasure and a joy and we even saw a bobcat cross the road one evening coming back from Ashland. A wonderfully beautiful spot with just the amount of serenity that we were looking for. The drive into Ashland is an easy, scenic, 20 minute drive where we found excellent produce and groceries at Shop n Kart and a multitude of wonderful restaraunts. (Don't miss having breakfast at The Morning Glory. Yum!) Our hosts, Stephanie and John are the sweetest, kindest people on the planet. We look forward to a lifetime if sharing good food, wine and friendship. We have grown to love them dearly. Overall excellent retreat, lovely hosts and highly recommend that you stay. Studio B is adjacent to Studio A and shares the same property as Helman House. It is quiet with lots of natural light, a King bed, daybed/couch, kitchenette, dining table, and private bathroom with shower. It is 3 shorts blocks to downtown Ashland.
This studio is in a mixed use neighborhood just several blocks from the center of downtown Ashland. It is adjacent to a send studio and behind Helman House, a two bedroom house with full kitchen and two baths. the entire compound can sleep 4 couples, or groups of up to nine if booked together.
  • This is a nice little place in a great location - its just around the corner from the end of the main strip of shops and an easy walk from everything you would need. The co-op is a bit over a 5 minute walk away and has an impressive buffet style set up of mainly organic food as well as heaps of organic produce. It was a favourite of mine. The accommodation is clean, and the bed is huge. The cooking facilities are limited, but you can cook basic things. There is a hot plate that you can plug in, an electric fry pan and a microwave, so it makes it a far better option than a hotel room if you're like me and don't want to eat out for every meal. If you wanted to do more extensive cooking you may find the cooking facilities a bit limited. There are however bowls, glasses, a fridge and utensils which gives it a tick over a hotel room for me. Its a good deal for the price, and I would stay here again.

  • This is one of the most beautiful locations I've stayed in Southern Oregon, you'll feel right at home in this cottage and you'll find everything you need and that the busyness of Ashland is just the right distance away. I couldn't recommend this place more.

    Jesse2020-03-31T00:00:00Z
  • Just a couple miles off I-5, this was a cozy pitstop on a road trip. Parking is close to the front door and the cottage is all on ground level, so it's perfect for folks with minor mobility issues. It's surrounded by beautiful rolling hills and I can imagine it would be a fantastic home base to explore the region. Travis was prompt in communication and made sure the heat was turned on so it was warm when I arrived.

    Lisa2020-03-29T00:00:00Z
  • We had to travel for a family medical emergency during this time when everyone is staying home due to coronavirus. We were nervous and Travis was able to put us up in a different space than we'd reserved, which had been uninhabited longer, so we felt safer and more comfortable. He also set us up with a hot plate and pans to cook our dinner, since finding open restaurants is iffy with all the shutdowns. His hospitality and friendliness helped us through a tough time.

  • This place is so wonderful! The views alone are worth the stay! The furniture is also breathtaking! I am a local who just needed a relaxing space to unwind and this was the perfect place! Our host was very accommodating and communicative. If you are a coffee drinker, bring filters and coffee, a standard size coffee maker is in the room.

  • This property is located out in the country on top of a hill that overlooks the city . The host , Rob , is very courteous and accommodating . This is a safe place to stay with killer views

  • Located on the hillside of breathtaking Oregonian country, this place is worth every penny. As long as you plan ahead for food, as there is only a microwave, you will have a worthwhile experience. Absolutely would recommend.

  • I had the absolute best time at Kelly’s Farm— I would have moved right in if I could have! The space was beautiful, clean and exactly as pictured, full of light and peaceful views. But most importantly, Kelly and her family are absolutely wonderful, kind and generous and made me feel right at home when I needed a safe space to stay. It was perfect to break up my drive from SF to Seattle, but I would also recommend Kelly’s Farm to just soak in some nature, peace and quiet! I can’t wait to return!

  • Great hospitality and super friendly, beautiful location!!

    Julie2020-05-05T00:00:00Z
  • I LOVE this place. We were supposed to stay for 1 day, but ended up staying longer. The room was so clean and beautifully decorated and I love that it has so many windows. Kelly and Chace are beautiful people. They were there to greet us and show us around when we arrived, and were very helpful and kind throughout our stay. We very much enjoyed socializing with them and all the animals on the farm <3

  • You will not be disappointed.

    Gordon2020-04-29T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful views from every window and there is a fenced in yard that your dogs will love! Kelly was a super helpful host and if we are ever back in Ashland we will stay there again.

  • Very beautiful setting on rural land, the farm animals were definitely a bonus! The horse and goats were very sweet and I was able to pet them, cool experience. The only downside is the water is very sulphuric and there's no stovetop. Other than that, the place was beautiful and Kelly was a very nice host.

    Mike2020-04-10T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful place to stay! Easy to find & checkin was super easy! Kelly was awesome and communicated great with my husband & I! The place is perfect! We were greeted by a goat named “Bunny”, so freaking cute! The place itself is super adorable. I liked the extra touches like being able to change the thermostat, coffee & extra creamer, and lastly the big screen t.v with the awesome sound system. It was our first experience with Airbnb and we were blown away! Definitely stay at Kellys!

    Caitlyn2019-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • Kelly was a fantastic host, and her place was a wonderful place to stay. She proactively helped me set up flowers and champagne to be ready upon our arrival which wowed my wife. You can tell she wants people to have a great time and made sure we had everything we needed. The views were incredible, and it’s an easy drive into downtown. Would definitely stay here again!

  • Corine’s unit is perfectly clean and very cozy. We felt right at home during our stay in Talent. The location is remote in a good way and very easy to find with Corine’s thorough instructions. Access to the unit was also quite easy. Coffee and snacks provided in the unit are a great touch. The unit is huge and has lots of personality. Would absolutely stay here again.

  • As you see Every other review wonderful place to stay for a getaway weekend I don’t have more to say, but go and see it yourself perfect place for the money! Love it

    Patricia2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Corine's place was the sweetest getaway. We truly loved the space and location. It was perfect for us, off the gird enough yet still close to the attractions we wanted to visit. The interior was homey and comfortable. Though the heater could be a little loud so for someone who is a light sleeper, it may be a bit much. The check-in/check-out was easy and she had all the information one could need clearly communicated.

    Lyz2020-01-16T00:00:00Z
  • Corine’s studio is lovely. I would highly recommend her home to anyone traveling in and around the Ashland area. It’s conveniently located just a few minutes from several fabulous eateries in Talent, and about a 5-7 minute drive from Ashland. The property is gorgeous, with tons of fruit trees; we enjoyed picking apples and plums for breakfast. The land was occupied by flocks of turkey and a few families of deer. The private patio area is a lovely spot to enjoy sunrises and sunsets. The studio was very clean, decorated beautifully and Corine provided coffee and essentials. We will definitely be back!

    Cher2019-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • I highly recommend staying with Corrine at this beautiful location. Easy access, beautiful property and wonderful fruit from the trees right now. Couldn't be happier!

  • A very spacious room with amazing amenities - I really felt like I was taken care of! Beautiful area to stay in as well.
