Zeke and Kris' space is absolutely gorgeous! Great energy and beautiful view!! Will be especially nice in the spring, summer and fall because of Lake and nature surrounding their home. Awesome experience! Very good communicators...excellent lighting...and loved the fireplace.

You can tell they’ve taken past reviews into consideration so don’t let the negatives deter you. They’ve added more seating and we weren’t able to see any mold like other reviews mentioned. The place itself was gorgeous with an amazing view. We couldn’t have asked for anything else. Plus the location was perfect. Far away enough that you enjoy the serenity of nature and close enough that there are a lot of delivery options! Would definitely come again when it’s warmer!

The view is stunning - even better than the photos. It is a nice, comfortable space and an easy drive into Ithaca, which is a lovely little college town. Perfect for our visit!

Cool place to stay in Ithaca!

We had the most perfect winter getaway at the Urban Cabin! We spent as much time in the space as we did exploring Ithaca! We really appreciated the feeling of being in nature while being only a few minutes from the commons by foot. The space is well thought out with everything you might need to feel at home during your stay!

This spot was exactly as the description and pictures showed. Easy walking distance to all the downtown commons stuff but, felt secluded at the same time. Super quiet slept like a baby.

A cozy little Urban Cabin close enough to everything you need yet far away enough to enjoy your privacy. Check in was a breeze and our nice hosts communicated quickly to answer the few questions we had. Their suggestions were spot on. Our place was lovely, clean and very private. Loved our views from the cabin. I’d just like to add if you have a car Wegman’s is a 7 min drive and is open 24/7. It has sooo many great things. Will return again :)

It was mine and my wife’s anniversary and we were looking for a cozy type of cottage to stay in last minute. Wylie responded right away to get us all checked in with lights and heat turned on before we got there. It was exactly what we hoped for. Rustic, artsy, bohemian chic type style with an awesome collection of books to sit in the nook upstairs with and just lounge! We loved EVERYTHING about it! Very charming, simple and sweet. Thanks Wylie we will defiantly be coming back !

Be prepared to have a cozy and fulfilling stay at Wylie's cottage. It is both adorable and functional. It felt like I rented a house for the weekend! You wont regret your stay.

Wylie’s place was so cozy and unique, my friend and I had a great experience staying at Wylie’s cottage. Wylie was fast to reply, prior our arrival, she had the heat turned on for us so it was warm when we got there. Her place is about 5 min drive from town and 15-20 min drive to most scenic areas. Wylie was very thoughtful and had a folder of recommendation of nearly everything we wanted to know. Overall we had a amazing experience staying at her place, we would definitely be coming back here again next year in the spring/summer!

This was the most charming little place! Felt very local and wonderful view from the 2nd story. Had just what we needed for a 1-night stay and bathroom was HUGE which was unexpected but definitely appreciated. Made our trip through Ithaca very cozy!

I came to Ithaca for a graduate audition and interview during a time when a snowstorm hit. The place was warm and cozy, and there is even a small porch outside. The location of this place is not too far from everything, with everything being in a walkable distance (<20 minutes). This includes Downtown/Commons and even a few fast food places. One thing that caught me by surprise: George messaged me and kept me updated about the driving situation in Ithaca, such as the bus system and update of the college, during the storm and asked if everything was okay! That sincerety and thoughtfulness meant a lot to me. I hope to be able to visit and stay at this same place in a future trip! - Ben

Jack's place is in a great location - as first time Ithaca visitors we were glad to be close to downtown! Parking wasn't an issue like I thought it might be. There was plenty of parking in front of the house and on the street to the right of the house as well. The room gets some street noise. It wasn't a problem for me but if you're a light sleeper just be aware! All in all a good stay. You can't beat the price and location!

Very clean and easy check in

Let me talk about the advantages first: Check in was very convenient. Even if we arrived at the destination quite late, we could successfully check in by self check-in. As for the location, it is very convenient for tourists who have cars or rent a car. There is a large area of parking spaces nearby. I didn't see the host during the whole process, but we cleaned up and saw everything. The hostess was very enthusiastic. They introduced us in detail and gave us some suggestions on how to play in Ithaca. The disadvantages are also obvious: The first is a slightly slow response, and the second is some doubt whether the landlord understands Chinese as much as in airbnb's self-introduction: the reason is that the messages I write in Chinese will never return, and only when I ask questions in English will I be slow Reply me. In this regard, as a Chinese, I feel very dissatisfied. The second is sound insulation, because the listing contains 4 rooms and shares bathrooms, but the sharer has strong uncertainty. Our second night experience was very bad because we met a roommate who was very noisy late at night. But because it ’s not the host ’s fault, I can only blame it for the poor sound insulation. A relaxing place to stay in a great location!

If you want a quiet room and don't mind sharing the house with other guests, this place is a great value near Downtown Ithaca. Street parking was easy, the room had everything we needed, and if you need a kitchen or coffee, you're covered there too. No complaints!

I love staying here. This is the second year I’ve stayed in Sarah’s space during the holidays and, once again, I had a wonderful time with my dogs. Sarah goes above and beyond to make sure her guests are comfortable and have everything they need. The rooms are spotless; the bedding and bathroom linens are crisp and clean. The location makes it easy to access all parts of downtown Ithaca by car, bike, or on foot. There’s plenty of free street parking.

We’ve stayed at Sarah’s place a few times before and, as usual, we loved it! It’s adorable, easy to get to, and close to plenty of stuff in Ithaca. Highly recommended.

Outstanding. We are walkers, so we loved it that we could hike up to Cornell as well as the Ithaca Commons rather easily. The space is stylish, with books I wish I had more time to thumb through. Well stocked kitchen. Excellent communication.

This is by far the most cozy and wonderful place we have stayed at. I can't say enough about the hosts and their hospitality. You'll be extremely lucky to stay here should they have an open date to accommodate you. I'd give it more than five stars if that were possible.

Kathrin’s apartment is in the perfect location - 20 minutes walk to Cornell, five minutes or less to downtown, five minute drive to Ithaca College. The apartment is beautifully designed and decorated and Kathrin truly thought of everything for the kitchen, the bath, and everywhere else. A fantastic stay and I didn’t want to leave.

The house is old but very cozy in a very safe neighborhood. Less than 15 minutes walk to Ithaca Commons, Cornell University as well as to Ithaca Falls Natural Area. Also, Lisa and Kate are very friendly and kind.

Lisa's house is cosy but not claustrophobic. We felt very welcome there. If you need ikea-chic it's tge wrong address, this very much is their individual house and it truly felt like staying at a friend's guest room - just what BnB is supposed to be like!

Taking care from the arrival time to local tips, everything is much better than the expectation that too in far away from my native place where I was helpless without their co-operation

GREAT AIRBNB. Private, peaceful, and great location. The advise about what to do in Ithaca was great! I have been a student in Ithaca for 4 years and didn’t know about most of the great places Isabel and Zac recommended. The room was so cute and had everything we could ever want. Water and the bath soaps smelled really good. 10/10

Zac & Isabel’s place is perfect for a little getaway. Clean, tidy, warm, and stylish. Plus, they have great soaps and lotions available, cushy towels, and thoughtfully placed clothing hooks. We slept beautifully. Definitely would stay again!

This was the second time my boyfriend and I stayed at Zac and Isabels private space off of the mansion. I would most definitely recommend this space. It is a very clean, warm, cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The linens and bed are very comfortable and the location is perfect. We love being able to walk to dinner at some of our favorite restaurants such as Just A Taste and La Cafe Cent Dix.

My only unmet expectation was more window coverage with the curtains, but all in all — I had a delightful experience and would love to come back again!

Perfect stop for us to get away for a week. Based on the other reviews here most people are here for a few days but we loved having a week just as much. There was no one else there during half of our trip and even when others did show up we only saw them once. Parking was amazingly easy and we ended up leaving the car parked most of the time we weren’t hiking and just walking everywhere. Very convenient space and all the coffee was a huge plus for us! We will be staying again when we come back for our next trip!

I can't speak highly enough about this place. The room is very special. It is simple and homey and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable. The whole room as a nice feel to it. The windows face east so there is a nice view across the valley to Cornell from the bedroom windows. There is a cable television in the room and WiFi, with good and strong connectivity. The bathroom connects right to the bedroom and is spacious and well organized. The shower is big and the water was plenty hot when called for. The other portion of the space is a little 'kitchen' area. There is no cooking stove, but there is kettle for hot water, small refrigerator, microwave, sink, cabinet, etc. The hosts provide tea, coffee, scones, which was a very nice touch. There is heating stove in this area that warms up the whole basement. It hovered around 10 F at night when I was there, but I was warm and comfortable inside. There is private entrance to the space, and although the room connected to the house via a staircase, I felt I had complete privacy. The parking spot is great, and the home is very close to downtown Ithaca - even walkable if you are inclined. Yet, I did feel like I was away from everything when I was there. The house is located on Route 79 but it was very quiet, particularly at night. Joan and Nelson are very nice people and their goodness fills the house. Check-in and check-out were easy. I would definitely stay there again (I miss it in fact) and I recommend it.

Our recent stay was a return visit, which speaks to how much we like Joan's place. We feel very at home there. The room is pleasantly decorated with comfortable furnishings and lots of books on many topics. Importantly the bed is comfortable. We appreciated the private entrance around the back of the house and enjoyed the view across town to the Cornell campus. We hope to stay again next time we visit Ithaca.

Kit's place was exactly what we wanted for a relaxing Winter visit to Ithaca. It was a cozy and comfortable place to enjoy a nice snow storm! -Kit got the driveway shoveled right away. Location was great for getting into downtown and for visiting the parks and waterfalls in and near Ithaca. Would definitely stay here again.

Kit is a gracious and helpful host and the Sunny Apartment is just that. Compact, clean, with easy access from the parking spot through the garage to the front door. And if you are lucky to have good weather, take advantage of the deck with views to the downtown stretch of the lake.

Beautiful studio so close to downtown! Loved waking up to a view of the lake. Everything was clean and cozy; the studio even smelled amazing when we arrived! Jes even provided freshly ground coffee. The hosts live upstairs so there was some noise but they were very considerate. King bed is super comfortable! Would love to stay again during summer.

We stayed here for a weekend during the winter. The place was exactly as it was shown in the pictures. The hosts were very quick in responding to any questions that we had. The property was clean, and tidy. The location was very convenient since was very close to CVS and Wegmans. Restaurants are a pretty close drive as well. The neighborhood also had ample amount of available car parking. We hiked at the Watkins glen state park and the Taughannock state park during our stay, and the drive was not very long. Which further speaks to the convenient location. The place is a good value for money and I may consider it again when I visit Ithaca

My girlfriend and I stayed at Jeremy's place for one night on Valentines Day. It was quiet, peaceful and felt very homey. We had the whole place to ourselves! Everything was clean, organized and very well placed. We had no issues. I would highly recommend!

If you want cold and impersonal, this is not the place. If you want to spread out and feel at home, it's great. There were lots and lots of HBA's. The coffee maker is very small, so if you're an addict, you'll have to be patient. The location is extremely convenient, walkable to downtown, and feels safe. Entry is easy and communication was swift. Enjoy being at home in this place!

This kitchen has enough plates, silverware and glassware for the number of guests it claims to hold. There were so many extra blankets!!! and towels!!! The house was plenty warm enough but we were so grateful for all the extra blankets. The weather was miserable when we visited and after a day in the freezing rain, it was wonderful to curl up on the couch and several really warm blankets. We hppe to stay here again!

Good, basic, economical place to stay for a few nights.

I’ve stayed several times at JackSun’s Airbnb’s. They’re always remarkably clean, have thoughtful touches like toothpaste and soap, and are really very comfortable and well decorated. I am never disappointed. I travel quite often between cities in upstate NY, and when I see JackSun’s name associated with a place, I feel confident it’s going to be a hassle-free, and comfortable stay.

As a first-time Airbnb guest I had no idea what to expect, but the Lavender Room was a lovely experience. The house was lived in without being messy or sterile like a hotel room. Sean's housemates were polite and welcoming. The room we stayed in was comfortable and neatly furnished with plenty of natural light and lamp lighting. Sheets, pillows, blankets and towels were clean and professionally stocked. I personally slept like a rock! We will be visiting the Lavender Room the next time we stay in Ithaca!

We stayed two nights and unfortunately did not meet Alexis or Mark, however they were very quick to respond to my messages. The bedroom and house were cozy and charming. There were three other bedrooms upstairs, two of which were occupied by two other guests; the upstairs full bath was shared by all - the bathroom was very nice and there were no issues in sharing among four people. The house is a great location for walking to Cornell, the Commons, and nearby trails. Check-in/check-out were super easy. Thanks, A&M!

Alexis and Mark are awesome, genuinely friendly and caring hosts, who are present enough to make you feel welcome, but in a way that also allows a sense of space. The house is lovely, an historic home in central Ithaca, a blending of antiques and modern/artistic flair that is cozy and interesting. I slept the best I have in years in this house and all of this was enhanced by Alexis and Mark helping me in many ways that I would never have expected. Excellent home with even better hosts!

Alexis and Mark's house is whimsical and eclectic, full of books, history, and art. The moment I stepped in the door, I was Wow'd by the warmth of the house and its friendly welcoming. Their house became a retreat and was thoroughly inviting! The bedroom and other house amenities were beautiful and very comfortable. I would highly recommend staying at A & M's house for its central location, to experience Ithaca by foot and be captivated by a house full of personality, care, and culture.

Sarah's place is optimally located to explore Ithaca and its surrounding area. I've now stayed in all three rooms available and each one has its own appeal. Sarah provides everything a traveler needs from an Airbnb--it's not an impersonal place to stay by any stretch of the imagination. My dog is welcomed every time with a fresh water bowl at the ready--that means a lot to me.

We just had a quick trip to Ithaca and Sarah's place was perfect for us and our toddler. Sarah was very communicative from the start of the reservation and even helped us with an early check-in. She was readily available and quick to respond and helpful during our stay. The location is on a quiet street very close to everything central Ithaca has to offer. The apartment is very cozy and is decorated with a very inviting vintage style with a lot of character. Plenty of space for us to lounge and could certainly handle larger groups. The bed was comfy and we slept great. The temperature was always perfect, we never felt too warm or cold, which is not easy to do in an old building in Upstate, NY. Next time we will stay longer.

Sarah's house was great - we were only in town for one night, but the space would be sweet for a few people spending more time in Ithaca and the surrounding area. Super comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen (stove, microwave, full size fridge, toaster, Keurig,) and thoughtful details like disposable razors in the bathroom. The parking was easy, and the property is located within a short walk to downtown. I appreciated Sarah's great communication, her tour of the space (including emphasis on fire exits - I've never had a host note safety details before!) and for meeting us at check in to assist with entry / exit. Oh, and the space was dog friendly - this is a deal sealer for us! Thanks, Sarah!

Cute, unique apartment that’s very conveniently located to mostly everything in Ithaca. There were also lots of suggestions for places to eat, including an entire page of vegan suggestions! Very dog friendly and no pet fee.

The space is well located (~15 minute walk to downtown). There are several options for groceries and supplies near the apartment. The bed and bedding are comfortable. The kitchen is supplied with basics, enough to make a small meal.

We were in town to tour Ithaca College and could not have picked a better place to stay! The location was fantastic, the apartment super clean and comfy. Now that Ithaca College is a first choice school, we know where we will stay when we are in town visiting our college student!! :)

David and his father were wonderful hosts! The home was sparkling clean, large, and in the perfect spot. I had a great sleep in the king bed, and I enjoyed watching Netflix after the kids went to bed. I would definitely stay here again!!

Our group had a great time here. The kitchen was well equipped to cook dinner and the beds were comfortable. Heaters were provided in the rooms which was nice. Close to some local waterfalls.

Jackson's place was a great landing pad for our stay in Ithaca. Street parking was easy and the bed was comfy. It's an easy walk down to the commons, and we had a fantastic meal just a few blocks away at The Rook (and a great IPA at Liquid State Brewing, also just a few blocks away). His place is no frills, but it does the job!

The most unique little place! I felt so at home here, so at ease, and at peace. Wylie’s place is incredibly stylish with bohemian vibes and she is a wonderful host. Bleu was also the best snuggler and so friendly! Definitely cannot wait to return !

Wylie’s place is exactly as advertised- it was a great spot to stay when I returned to my old stomping grounds in Ithaca and is convenient to everything. Plus, Blue is a charmer.

My husband and I were looking for something unique and close to all that Ithaca has to offer and we found it! Wylie’s place offers a little history, artistic and travel inspired decor, a cozy cabin feel and a sweet and friendly cat! It was 10 min or less from downtown (we took an Uber in one night) and sits just across from the lake and park. You do hear traffic but it died down by the time we were going to bed. A train passed by one evening but again, not an issue for sleeping. The bed was comfy and while we didn’t need to run it most of the time, the heat warms the house quickly on chilly nights. Wylie was very responsive. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Central and a good value. The kitty has a lot to say and is a total sweetheart. We were worried about the noise from the main road but it was quiet at night and not nearly as loud as it was during the day.

We were enchanted by this place. It is a unique space, cosy and artistic and very functional. We loved the upstairs porch, the pretty trees, the comfy bed. Every thing was great and Blue was great company.

The location is perfect, as you are just blocks away from downtown. Jan was very welcoming, meeting us upon arrival. Parking is provided and there is a quaint separate entrance to the apartment. The place was very comfortable, and Jan provided special touches such as coffee and cream for the morning. Thank you Jan!

A lovely immaculate Lake house . Stellar views. Hours spent staring at the lake , and the birds. The hosts were available , helpful .. and very responsive during our visit.Our dogs loved the space by the lake, the deck.. and the amazing Dog park less than 5 min down the road . (To city dwellers.. unreal HUGE enclosed space.. friendly dog people).. the house Surpassed our expectations...in every way.. we will return ..I hope.

Great spot right on the water and 5 minutes away from downtown Ithaca. Enjoyed being so close to amenities but felt far away from it. Driveway is very steep (I drive manual so it was tricky getting out of the driveway) but thankfully we were prepared thanks to the handbook. Visited the town, Taughannock, and Finger Lakes cider house, all quite close. Would recommend even for a short stay like ours.

This house is so lovely, and the view and access to the lake really can't be beat. The house has lovely amenities - a great kitchen, nice bathroom, and comfortable beds. Everything was VERY clean, which I sometimes worry about with rentals that allow pets. Carolyn made great suggestions regarding restaurants and local amenities. We ate at the recommended Thai restaurant Tamarind, and it was really wonderful. I would stay at this house again in a heartbeat. Thank you!

The Lake house was the perfect spot for our long weekend getaway to explore Ithaca and Cayuga lake wineries! The house offers plenty of views of the lake, so even on a rainy day you can enjoy it! Carolyn is very detailed with instructions, which is helpful as we really had no questions on getting to/in and staying at their place. Stunning views we will never forget! The location of this place can’t be beat. Very comfortable for three couples and two dogs. Gorgeous views from windows, deck, and dock. Easy walk to bike trail and great kayaking on clear water. Restaurant scene in Ithaca is awesome for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. Hosts are very responsive to any and all questions. Would go back to this property in a heartbeat!
