Great place to stay! Carol and Mark are very nice and very welcoming. I love the location to be able to walk everywhere. Again, I highly recommend this as a great place to stay.

This place is AMAZING - the pictures don’t do it justice (the tub is a jacuzzi!)!! Carol and Marc were consummate hosts, their hospitality generous without being intrusive. The location is so close to the subway, we were able to easily travel throughout the city with no trouble at all, and the area was and felt safe at all times. Ahhhhh :) what an amazing way to experience NYC. Firstly entering the apartment via an elevator set the mood immediately for the most new yorky stay ever! The apartment is amazing, all the beds all comfy, the shower lush, and the location brilliant. So much quieter than staying Central, which we loved. But not far away from anything! Close to subway and bus stops. And if you are tired (or have tired kids who don’t want to walk after you’ve been to the theatre) an Uber doesn’t break the bank to here either. Marc is just the sweetest gentleman and Carol is just lovely. Felt safe, felt welcome. Thank you guys :) I hope our paths cross again. Big loves xx

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a Valentine’s Day trip and it was absolutely wonderful. Marc and Carol are very kind and accommodating hosts to stay with. I highly recommend this place. His apartment is also very well located, Times Square is less than a 15 minutes walk away. On the whole, a great experience!

All around excellent. Jeffrey treats his guests as if they’re old friends. A great conversationalist, he feeds you, he even let me borrow a shirt so I wouldn’t be cold walking around the city. A very genuine, down-to-earth, and caring human being. His apartment is cozy and centrally located. Highly recommended.

I loved staying at Jeffrey's place. It's an older, what I'd call "classic" Hell's Kitchen apartment that's thoughtfully and lovingly inhabited by it's owner (who I didn't get to meet because he was out of town). Jeffrey's kindness was evident in his communication and in the vibe of his place. I'll be back soon!

Michelle’s place was outstanding to stay at. It’s perfect for just going in and out and it was great for a more authentic stay in the city. We had everything we needed and were able to maneuver very quickly around through the subways nearby.

The location is amazing!!! Only a 10 minute walk to the subways, and everything else you need is right there in the neighborhood from great restaurants, delis, and small bodegas. The place was very clean, and cozy, and convenient, and quiet. Michelle gave us great tips on where to go for the happenings, and checked in with us to make sure we were okay. Everything you read in the reviews is correct. She is the perfect host. I will stay again and again.

Michelle’s place was ideal for our NYC trip for New Year’s Eve. It was about 10 min walk to the train, parking was excellent on the street. The pictures were very accurate, everything was as described. Having a small kitchen really came in handy to avoid eating out every meal. Neighbourhood was good, no complaints. Michelle was there immediately when I messaged her having trouble opening the lockbox, which was greatly appreciated. All in all this was perfect for what we needed and we had no issues.

Michelle's studio is an excellent value in a great location if you're hoping to explore Brooklyn. The apt itself was extremely clean with a comfortable bed, good natural light, and charming exposed brick. Easy access from the subway and not far from Prospect Park plus a variety of fun bar, cafes, and restaurants in the neighborhood. Highly recommend.

We loved the place und the hospitality of the apartments owner (Michael). Communication with Craig who manages the arrangement was easy and accurate.

An absolutely amazing apartment - the sunlight and the design is not to be missed. Craig was extremely helpful. Easy to get to the subway. Note that it can be loud at night due to sirens (not that one forgets that he is in New York City). Will definitely be back.

What a nice living room! This is an old original flat in the heart of Bedford Avenue, the most vibrant street in Williamsburg. The atmosphere is great and the view on the street as well. The rooms are spacious enough and the flat is well equipped. Internet works well and the access to Manhattan is easy. It is the perfect place to relax after a long day visiting the city. As the flat is old you have to take into account: heating noises overnight (original heating system), neighbors' noises during the day and an overall low level of cleanliness due to the original wood and plaster. That said, great location for a reasonable cost.

Very stylish apartment. Clean. Great shower. There were beers in the fridge, we did leave some in return. Good fast WiFi. Directly in the middle of Williamsburg next to some great bars and restaurants. 4 minutes from the L train which is 3 stops into manhattan, very easy and cheap to use this service, we bought a week pass for $31. The only thing was noise through the day from a nursery upstairs but that was from 9am therefore we were always up and out by then (apart from one hangover day). Ian was very good and quick at communicating which put us at ease when checking in/out. All in all a great place to stay, highly recommended.

We had a great stay here in Williamsburg. The appartment is very well located and nice to live. We were 5 people and it was perfect. We could have breakfast inside and sometimes dinner. Ian’s instructions were very good, he was also very reactive when I had questions and didn’t hesitate to come over to welcome us. Thanks a lot!

Loved it! Super convenient to the J and M lines, and easy to walk from/to many great restaurants and bars in the area. Unit was super clean and had many lovely little touches, like multiple charging stations and snacks! Host was exceptionally attentive, especially when I needed it.

Katie was great from the start. Always available to answer any queries and left us a little Welcome Hamper to help us get settled. The apartment is somehow bigger than it looks in the Photos and we were free to use the utilities as required. The location is great too, close to a local 7/11, a bus route into the city, McDonald's and DunkinDonuts for that morning Sugar and Caffine Fix. We felt secure in the apartment too as it sits back off the street. The next door neighbour was super friendly and offered help and assistance at any point in our Stay. Overall, a fantastic little find. If I'm ever on this side of the world again, I'd be sure to stay here

I want to tell you that during my stay I felt very comfortable and happy. Everything was clean and orderly, the location is excellent, the bus that took me to New York City could take 2 minutes walking and it took 20 min. Ale and Ana very nice always. I recommend this place 100%.

Amer's place is pretty much exactly as advertised and a really nice place to stay. Our host was really helpful with information and tips about how to get from JFK across the city and the Hudson to Jersey City and also took the time to say "Hello" during our stay and check that all was proceeding well. We really felt we were in a "home away from home" and couldn't have asked for a more hospitable host during our stay. We found getting across into NYC really easy, using both ferries and the PATH train system and chilling out in the apartment after a hard day's tramping around the city could not have been more relaxing. From a travelling point of view, we chose to walk to and from Journal Square, the nearest PATH station, but there were buses and cabs which would have been quicker. There are plenty of grocery stores in the area and we visited both Carvao BBQ and Hooked JC (BYO) food and drinks during our time here.

The space is lovely, clean, and comfortable, and Amer is a fabulous host - friendly, conscientious and respectful. If you don't mind being little bit of walk from the PATH station (but definitely still walkable), this is a wonderful place to relax after a day in the city. Highly recommended!

This is such a great place to stay! The place was super clean and comfy. Amer was a great host! He was really quick with response & had great communication during our stay. The PATH station was about 10 min from the house & it took us straight to the World Trade Center. I like how it isn’t directly in the city. Amer also gave us great recommendations and tips to get around NY. I plan on coming back to this city & i would definitely book this place again!

10/10 experience. Chris is a great host and a fun guy who really knew the city well. Who better to suggest great places to see and good feeds around the city minus the tourist traps then a true local. Keep and open mind and Chris will blow you away with some very interesting things to do around the city. I'm not exactly a very sophisticated person but after getting recommended by Chris to check out whole foods, I've ate vegan food become a more cultured person in the span of half an hour. Every suggestion by Chris we took on was always fun and interesting and we really appreciate the time he spent out of his way to point out the best the city has to see. The airbnb itself is interesting and everything is provided. The area is very safe both at day and night (considering we walked home to the airbnb one night at 2/3am in the morning). The public transport is really good and close as well, the path train is a few minutes walk and runs all night, really easy to get into Manhattan, Note, might be a good idea to bring cash, mainly $5 and $10 notes to for the Path metro train, we had occasional issues with the ticket dispenser where and error message came up when we used credit card. The machine also only took $1, $5, $10 notes and coins so stock some just in case. Reminder to do some research on the difference between the path trains and the MTA will help on your trip. I'm enroute to the next city on my trip and our transportation has been delayed so please enjoy this detailed review. Cheersx

Chris was a great host! Definitely listen to his recommendations on things to do in NYC! I was a little worried being a single female traveller but New Jersey is super safe and constantly busy plus the Airbnb is on a main Street v close to the station. The apartment is very homely with lots of fun books.

The very nicely furnished apartment is very cheap. It is only a 10 minute walk to the path train that goes to the One World Trade Center. You can have breakfast directly in the neighborhood at the Wonderbagel. Christopher is a very pleasant host who gave lots of suggestions and recommendations for staying in NYC. The check in was easy, although we arrived very late. One can eat very well in Jersey City in the numerous restaurants at a normal price. If you are a bit sensitive to noise, you should take earplugs with you to sleep, as the windows let through the street noise. But it didn't bother us. We would book this accommodation again at any time and hope that we will have the opportunity to do so again.

Nice place to stay if your visiting the area. It took us about 40 minutes to get from the room to Times Square. We took a subway, a train ride and a Uber. There is a bus we could have took but getting the Uber was faster. Manuel’s place was clean!

I stayed for a few nights. It is a feeling that considerable satisfaction can be obtained for the price. The host was very kind and promptly responded to sudden contact (changes in check-in and out times). It wasn't a short 40 minute walk from the nearest PATH station, but I didn't feel so painful by using a bus, Lyft or Uber. The house was good internet environment and the temperature of the shower was perfect. I was able to spend a comfortable time adjusting the temperature of the rented room. You can prepare a simple breakfast if you tell the time. Although it was under one roof with the host, it was possible to enjoy interaction, and it was a good stay where you could taste the local air.

Just like in the picture. Great hospitality from Vicky and her brother John. Great transportation and well located. You can walk liberty park and take the ferry to the liberty statue. Perfect for the price.

Vicky’s spot was clean and accessible to the city. You can walk/take a Uber/or bus to the PATH train to get to NYC about 30 min all together) I took an Uber to the train station everyday besides one day when I took the 81 bus, transportation was rather inexpensive. The house is also close to the new Nickelodeon park in NJ if that’s something fun that I interests you. As well as a cool downtown area with good restaurants. Definitely worth it! Vicky was very accommodating and the house was quiet and peaceful. Great price for the stay.

Great location, near State Liberty Park & Station. Very clean, warmly house. I love the old-fashioned, traditional American style of the house. Vicky is a great host, her brother John is very friendly too. They will make you feel like home. With that affordable price for a room near the Manhattan, I can't ask for more. I will come back for my later trips at New York.

Good spot for visiting New York. All you need to take is the 119 bus and within 25 minutes you’re right in the center of it all!

Very nice space, including two bathrooms with showers on two floors, great work spot with flawless wifit, soarkling clean, and really great location close to Journal Square. Neighborhood a bit scruffy on the main street but I felt very safe even late at night.

Lovely house. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed and quiet neighborhood. 20 minutes Uber from Newark airport. The PATH station to nyc is about 5 minutes walk. Highly recommend the Deli store in that station for breakfast. Google map suggests around 40 minutes travel time to most attractions in nyc by public transportation. But expect one hour if you are not familiar with nyc. They’re really good at hiding subway stations. I would choose to live in Manhattan next time simply for the sake to save time.

Dave’s place was absolutely perfect for two people! The space was much bigger than I expected, and was stylish, clean, and convenient. It took less than a minute to walk to the bus stop, the nearest SoulCycle, and tons of restaurants. I expected to spend the majority of my time in NYC, but ended up loving the area of Hoboken so much more. This is the perfect place to stay for anyone planning to spend time in Hoboken or NYC!

What a lovely stay! Everything was very clean which can be hard to find so I was very content with the apartment. It was a little bigger than I thought which was another great feature it was perfect for two people; my boyfriend and I enjoyed the experience of the area, but it was even better after walking all day to get some rest in a quiet and cozy place. The block over was full of little shops and restaurants, and about 1 mile down is the train station to cross over to New York which was very convenient for our trip. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!!

Very clean and spacious. Close to NYC. Walls are thin. Heard neighbors all night long.

Great clean space! Large living area. The apartment is a lot bigger on the inside. Bedrooms are a good size. You can see the Freedom Tower from the living room window. Street parking is rare. Driveway is a plus but very snug. Everything was perfect for what we needed it for. This was my parents first Airbnb with us and they thought it was very nice! Thanks for the stay!

First experience using AIRBNB and I think it couldn't be better. Place had just everything you might need and maybe more. Conveniently located and easy rides to N.Y.

This was the first time I ever used an AirBNB, so I was a bit skeptical. Once I booked it, I knew it was the right choice. Pablo is so kind and helpful, he made the whole trip even more enjoyable. The apartment has such a warm and comfy feel to it. He goes out of his way to make you feel at home. We loved it here!

Booked this place on the same day and was accommodated so well. Located in a pretty neighborhood. Felt very safe. The photos don’t do justice of how spacious this place is. Absolutely wonderful. Stylish and bed was comfortable. Sterling was very responsive.

Sterling's place was exactly as pictured! It was stunningly clean, like spotless! The bed and linens were comfortable. There's a full size washer and dryer. It was a great feeling to head home with clean clothes. The neighborhood was great. I didn't have a car so I didn't have any issues with parking or finding a place to park. I was by myself and felt safe walking in the dark to the store or wherever I need to go. Overall a great experience and I would definitely stay there again.

Exactly as described. Its a basement, you walk in theres a bed to your right, kitchen infront, bathroom to your right and if you walk straight theres a bedroom with a second bed inside. Place looked clean, had free coffee aswell. Only downside is if you want to get to NYC you need to take the PATH train which takes about 25 minutes but sometimes it gets delayed and so it takes longer. Other than that place is a good stay for its price I definitely recommend it.

This place was really amazing. I’m so glad we found it! We came to NYC for New Year’s Day and after a fun and late night it was so great to sit in the hot tub and relax while staring at NYC skyline at night. We drove straight in and found parking directly in front of the house. The outside is less impressive but once you get inside the place is super great. (Note- we got a parking ticket on Thursday morning for street cleaning so although parking was free we paid 50 bucks for ticket- didn’t notice that on the signs outside!) Back to the place- we rented the top floor and it was really big, super clean, awesome old architecture but all updated. The hot tub and bathroom were huge! Lots of great organic products and towels. And a full kitchen to share downstairs. 3 or 4 flights to get to the top so note that but it’s worth it to stay up there. One of the best places I’ve stayed in Airbnb, it was super reasonable! Super friendly when we arrived! And love their vegan ethos. Really great all around.

Very nice place to stay, well maintained and clean. Accurate description of property and current photos. Neighbor hood is older and established residential area that is safe but may cause some renters to be concerned - no need for concern. Local grocery marts right down street walking distance. Parking is limited but was usually a spot or two available during the course of the day. Close proximity to PATH(trains, subway, buses) for commuting into NYC. Enjoyed our stay there and would recommend it to couples looking to rent a place in the area.

Large apartment in a fairly quiet place, in the vicinity of NYC, a lot of beds.

We had a great stay at the apartment in Jersey City. It was very clean and the apartment has everything you need for a short or a long stay in New York. The communication and the check in were very easy. We didn’t have any problems. The bus station is nearby. It took us 20 minutes to Manhattan. We will be back soon. Thank you for having us.

Great appartement not far from the path to go to New York City. The parking in the backyard is great but very narrow. The entry is very easy with a code.

Amazing experience overall!!! Very thoughtful and had everything we needed. Kristen was also really sweet to us. The place was warm and cozy in the freezing winter. This might be obvious but if you’re from warmer climate visiting JC in winter, the 10-15min walk to path station can be a bit painful

The tiny house was such a good value. When you walk in for the first time she had a fire place video playing soft music and the tiny house was so warm and cozy. The location is close enough to walk to everything and the host was very responsive to any messages I sent her. Plus the mattress was amazingly comfortable. Definitely coming back to this air bnb

Everything about this place was great, they even let us check in earlier so we wouldn’t carry our luggage, provided towels, soap, shampoo, water and some cookies.

This airbnb is perfectly as described. Quick safe walk to the path and white eagle hall. Tip: the ceiling is thin and you can easily hear the people in the unit above you. The ac unit produces great white noise that can be used to cover up the noise.

Simple, modest basement apartment. Perfect for a short stay and “home base” to go out from.

The place is very comfy. This is a great value with extra living room. Very near to restuarant, just a walking distance. And very easy to get to New York City. Definitely looking to book again in the summer.

Also really convenient having the Path train stop just a 2 minute walk away, meaning Manhattan was really easy to get to! Place exactly as you would find in the pictures. Great location right next to the path train. Only downside is climbing 4 flights of stairs without elevators, but otherwise, great place. Host was very responsive to questions.

This apartment is the best option outside of Manhattan, really big and comfortable. It’s easy to go to NY by Path (train). The neighborhood is safe and you can find a lot of restaurants, MC Donald’s, markets and bars. The communication with the host was good. I really recommend.

Great place in Jersey City! The spot is stylish, very clean and offers plenty of room. Lots of good food and nice bars close by. Just one block from the subway station so it’s easy to get around. Very easy to communicate with our host as well. Very impressed would definitely visit again!

First Class from start to finish, great communication and location. Apartment was immaculate and in the perfect spot to explore Manhattan. 1 minute to the Path Station and then 7/8 minutes on the train to the WTC, only $5.50 return. Thanks again we will be back

Kevin and David's place was great. We enjoyed our stay immensely and the space was extremely clean. We were comfortable with 5 people, but space was a bit limited if you have a larger party.

It was better then I expected great place for a group of friends very comfortable and accommodating also area is not bad and stores are close by.

This place was perfect for a short NYC trip. Room to sit, and relax. Beware that on the weekends it can take longer and cost more to travel. But the place is a safe neighborhood and quiet. We would definitely stay again.

Spent the night here with a group of friends, it was perfect because of the huge couch which allowed us to all lay and play games/watch a movie. Everything was clean and provided us with everything that was needed!

The place is clean and nice. There are three bus lines that can easily take us to New York City and also many small groceries around the corner. Very convenient. There is free Netflix and we had great time every nights and every mornings. Very recommended. I will stay at the same place if I visit to New York again in the future.
