The place is nice and quiet, suitable for one or two people. With a touch of modern furnishing, good connection to WiFi and if you want to relax you can at the comfort of a safe and spacious outdoor area.

Not only was it value for money, but Bonolo and Themba were gracious hosts who made sure we were tended to. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I would highly recommend this space

If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful and tranquil space then definitely Bird Song is your go to place. The place is clean, intimate and the room is spacious. The host's are friendly and very keen on making sure the guests feel welcome . They have an honesty box which is a great gesture if you forgot your travel snacks.

I honestly loved the place . In a quiet and tranquil area. Boomed off area. The cottage itself is amazing . Clean . Cute . Spacious . Full DSTV - unlimited fast speed WiFi . Washing machine - cleaning detergents - name brand products in the bathroom . It was a dream .

Good Value for money

Our stay with Jessica and her lovely family was peaceful, safe and very comfortable. The unit was spotless on arrival with everything and more. We were very thoughtfully provided with a fan for the hot weather and when we requested an ironing board and iron it was provided with pleasure and kindness. I would stay at 33 Carlton any day and suggest anyone to as well. It is well safely and conveniently situated.

This place was exactly what we needed. It was clean, modern, safe and the hosts are very friendly, accommodating and responsive. You will enjoy your stay.

One of the best stays I’ve had with air Bnb. Amazing hospitality! They even took my washing off the line because the neighbors were having a Braai. So thoughtful and so considerate! Very hands on and super friendly. I felt like I could stay there for much longer than I needed. I would recommend this stay to anyone and everyone on your travel to jhb. Wow! What a spectacular find Mel’s home was. Perfectly situated in a beautiful complex within walking distance of a variety of shops and restaurants. The property itself was spotless, spacious and had everything a guest could ask for. I even had a remote controlled ceiling fan in my stylish room! The WiFi was also super quick. Mel’s garden is something to behold, containing a manicured garden and inviting swimming pool which I made good use of. I could also easily park my car inside the garage. Checking in and out was seamless as I was provided with details on how to access the main gate and lockbox ahead of time. Mel is a super host, and gave me a warm welcome on arrival and was always available if I had any questions. She also placed a Lindt chocolate on my pillowcase on arrival. I would highly recommend this (very underpriced) AirBnB and look forward to returning in the near future!

Bernie was such a great host, had a slight problem with the gyser and he arranged for it to be fixed ASAP while he gave us an alternative to use,he's always available when you need to get hold of him and came to check on us,what a wonderful person he is,definitely going to recommend him and will come back too.

Whether on business or leisure, this place ticks all the boxes. Your own private entrance in a well-secured community with a private braai (barbecue) area. The house is well designed for a family with some surprise touches in the bathroom! It is also brilliant for self-catering purposes with all equipments included. This is amongst the best in the market and well placed to amenities.

This place feels less like a cottage and more like you are in your own house. Stunning kitchen and living area., everything I needed was there. The bedroom was comfortable and the place felt secure.

My favourite visit yet — I wish we stayed for longer. The apartment is absolutely STUNNING, and in the perfect location with a few enjoyable activities within it’s near surrounding.
