The apartment was beautiful. Tony gave a small tour about the apt. Host is always reachable n there if needed. Night market is near to this place. To sum, a safe n peaceful apartment with scenic view from its balcony.

The appartment was perfect for me, nice and spacious, very well equipped, clean and located in an area that I liked. The owners were extremely nice and easy to deal with, check in and check out was perfect and I recommend this apartment highly. I hired a car to explore all around the island, and enjoyed my time in Langkawi very much.

This is a great apartment to stay in Langkawi. It's not close to the main beaches but not really an issue if you have your own transport. The view is nice, unblocked as the apartment is located on a high floor. It's clean and convenient. The owner is friendly and it was easy for check-in and check-out. I would definitely recommend it.

We had a great stay at Joanne and Tony's apartment . The view is amazing , you can see beautiful sunset every night. Great location, apartment clean with a new kitchen and well equipped. Tony is a great host who is very helpful , it was a very good experience and we hope to come back to Langkawi soon ! Really nice place with superb view no exaggeration ,spotlessly clean,Devine place but from the street looks like the worst on outside, bathroom though so absolutely clean could have upgrade, but you don't go to live in a (URL HIDDEN) a balcony with a view like this just inspiring .Great Co host very helpful. Had a great time but this side of the Island isn't where beaches are which is what I was after so spent a lot on grab to get to other side of Island everyday about 27 rm each way to cenang (URL HIDDEN) is not bad to get to some nightspots but we never visited them as we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of Langkawi and a wine and pizza at Thursdays bar on cenang beach was very nice and a regular for us.Great time by us and very hard to beat this place is .I definitely recommend this place.

As described in former messages, it's a bit apart from the beaches but the host and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely come back!

Staying at the Ocean Front was a really good choice! Noori was very sweet , welcoming and helpful, she picked us from the ferry and took us to her place. She told us a lot of things of Langkawi and recommended us plenty of things to do around. The place is very very clean, and comfortable, besides cold! There is air-con, which works perfectly and even that we don´t prefer it normally, was great and handy to have it to get the air colder a while whenever was necessary. Hot shower, great bed, and a beautiful almost jungle outside, you can hear it from your bed and its beautiful. The best thing to do is to hire a motorbike, or a car, because the place is a little far of the beach and other places , but if you do it is just perfect. Thank you so much Noori, we had such a great time!!

We spent a wonderful vacation in Langkawi, not least thanks to the excellent choice of hotel. We felt most welcome. free tour (thank you very much), wonderful breakfasts with a wide choice of tasty dishes was organized for us, courtesy dinner and just a very welcoming attitude. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who edit in Langkawi, provided that you are going to hire a transport (car or scooter), because Located in the middle of the island.

2nights stay in Ocean garden. I noticed it was not house, like a small resort. Pros Mr.Noorijah, helped us to rent a car. We can go anywhere easily. Also gave some tour recommendations. Staff, Mr.Moni was kind always have smiles on his face. They provide simple breakfast. You can see greens in this area. Cons Showerhose was leaked little. Cigarettes smells in the room. Listing location on the map is displayed with the actual position difference is very far away, but when we help the landlord, we just find a larger building, the landlord will take the initiative to send someone to meet us, the service is pretty good. We stay in charge of the little brother is also very warm, what are very positive to help me deal with it. Peripheral house has a very nice private club, then we can go visit, like some leisure time can spend half a day of rest here in the pool.

The location is perfect & the scenery over here is breathtaking. Recommended !

The place was comfortable and spacious for 6 of us. The kitchen area was fine to prepare and have our breakfast. The vicinity was relatively safe and had few good restaurants that served up superb yet reasonably priced dishes. It would really be complete if there was a beach nearby!

The house is spacious and suitable for the big family. The price is affordable since its have 4 bedroom. Plus you have a space in living room to chit chat, eating and so on together with your family compared stay in hotel. The apartment is really near to kuah town. There is a lot of restaurant and so on for you to find places to eat since its just across the apartment. However, during my stay, some of the aircond are not really cold and the shower in one of the bedroom not really functioning because the water are not warm. The fan a bit dusty however its a small problem for me and maybe there is misscommunication with the cleaner service. However, the issues maybe have been fixed out since i've already inform the host. So have a wonderful stay to those are going to the langkawi.

Location excellent, halal and Chinese restaurants just few minutes away by walking, convenience store also just 1 min from host place. Host are good, helpful, and very responsive. The rooms in the house are comfortable suitable for family or group traveller.

The room was large, beautiful, and have air conditioning. All respects quite to my satisfaction, but also on the outside about 2-3 minutes drive there is delicious and cheap seafood restaurants, from the attractions are pretty close

Moh is a great guy and the place is amazingly well maintained. He even provides free rental of motorcycles for you to travel around. His location is surrounded by delicious local food as well as a shopping mall with a theatre. Would love to visit him again when I come by Langkawi again.

Absolutely fantastic host and hostel, in a great location, at such a brilliant cost. Moh promptly picked me and my travel companion up from the airport, before taking us straight to the hostel and giving us a private tour and motorcycle lesson. As well as the bed and some food and drink, Moh also provides some top-quality, geared motorcycles that are perfect for getting around the island. I can't understate how crucial this was to our whole experience. Being mobile on Langkawi makes your holiday so much easier and more enjoyable. If you are considering one of the more expensive hostels/hotels in the area then I would strongly suggest that you factor in the cost of the motorcycle, and the wealth of knowledge that Moh can provide you of the local area. In all, great hostel and great bloke. Thank you very much Moh, I won't forget my time on Langkawi.

The host is very friendly. He do pick me up at the jetty and share me alot of his experience. I do learn alot. The host also treat me a dinner at his mamak stall. I will highly recommend those budget backpacker to stay over at the dorm to feel the environment.

The owner made us feel welcome and is very friendly. The place is very clean and neat with interesting decor which makes it unique.

Moh is very nice and offer us so many information and help. The best thing is Moh pick us up at the airport also sent us to the airport. But also thank you Muz drive us around the island and introduce the interesting place to us! As for the house, that is great! E nvironment is quiet and it's close to the shop. Anyway, it's very convenience!

Moto Dorm is a truly comfortable, homely, and spotlessly clean place to stay. The space is a large, open area floor plan, with 4 bunk beds (8 beds), 2 picnic tables, 2 chairs, refrigerator and water kettle. Beds are comfy and have a lock box, light, and personal outlet. Bathrooms are also super clean and both showers are rain-style. Several good restaurants within easy walking distance. The biggest selling point is the FREE motorbike rental! Considering most places charge at least 35 RM per day for a bike, this is a real bargain. I drove all over the island while I was there and only needed to pay for gas. Lastly, Moh is a truly warm-hearted guy that wants the best for his guests. He loves to tell all about his island of and has a soft spot for the animals and insects of Langkawi. Moh also very generously gave me a ride to the ferry port when it was time to leave. A+ stay at Motodorm, come and see for yourself!

The staying at Moh's was absolutely amazing. He's definitely a great man, with a lot of energies and he loves what he's doing. His apartment is great, big, clean and well designed. He gave us all we asked for, info, lessons about riding a motorbike and let us cook a pizza in his brand new oven. He gave us a lift to the harbour and to the airport as well to drop off a friend. Absolutely the perfect host, 200% recommended!

The hostel is ok- still a work in progress. Lacks a comfortable common area. Bed was ok in comfort for the price. The location is not good for someone who wants to be in walking distance of good restaurants, bars, really anything fun. It is in the business district of the island. It is close to the jeti, so convenient if you need to catch an early boat.

The hostel is well kept and clean. I'm glad for the friendly & helpful staff. It's super convenient - close to many restaurants, shops & launderette. Will definitely recommend to my friends! Well done - keep it up!

So nice dorm,first of all it's near the kuah town center,there has mini market,restaurants,the travel agency what I booked the island snorkeling just right there.the dorm is a open area,u can hand out with others very close.and most important,landlord is so friendly

Razar and Jeremy were very nice to me!They showed me the places to visit,and the next morning Razar took me to Tanjung Rhu Beach to see the sunrise. I had spent a very pleasant time when I was in El Studio. and also, it is the most economic place for backpacker to stay. 我在这里认识了Razar,Jeremy还有也是一个人来旅行的Sasha,最难忘的一次住宿体验。

Raya, excellent host. The house view is fantastic and our our stay was very comfortable. Access to kitchen was key since Langkawi has limitation in offering Jain food. Raya's kitchen made it easy for us. Billion, The shop (1-2km), is great for grocery shopping. Perfect place to relax.

Great place , very clean, great view, quite condominium, awesome facilities (high speed wifi) and accommodating host. Mdm Raya is very warm and fantastic. The penthouse is 10 mins drive from Kuah Town. Highly recommended for family. There is just nothing much to complaint except a little water clogging in the bathroom, which has to be repaired.

Raya is a very friendly, very pro owner. We have a total of 6 adults and two Baby in the house, the house is large and clean goods is complete, we cook at home is also very convenient, just like home. Because I English is not good, some communication difficulties, but Raya try to understand, teach us how to go to a place, the delicious delicacy, supermarket, we won't go with us, is really too good. Next time if we come back LANGKAWI will live in your home

Staying on Christoph's boat has been hands down the best experience of our holidays. It was absolutely magical. To me this is what airBNB is about at its best - a chance to have a share, if only for a couple a days of a completely different way of life. The Malay junk itself is absolutely beautiful - every inch crafted from rare tropical timbers. We are a family of four and stayed in the master state room which was the size of a small caravan and had its own ensuite and private entrance. We had no mosquitos at all during our stay, the double bed was super comfortable and cool ocean breezes meant we didn't need air con. The boat is moored out from shore in a safe harbour which was calm and peaceful and is easy to get to anywhere in Langkawi. Christoph loaned us his car to explore the islands and as he's lived their for many years he was able to organise and solve lots of small issues from fixing my sunglasses to racing us to the airport so we didn't miss our plane. He knows many of the boat tour operators and is able to get them to pick you up from the boat after breakfast. Our kids absolutely fell in love with Christoph and none of us wanted to leave. If you have a chance to stay here - don't hesitate!

It was less of a hotel and more of a motel, little to no services available. Basic items such as forks and spoons were not readily accessible. Other than that, it's an alright place for backpackers looking for an affordable place to crash at.

Centre of Kuah, easy accessibility as long as you have transport. Clean and a great place for friends or family. Nice host as well.

Great host. The place is Spacious, clean, exactly the same as pictured. Easy access to convenient store, dining places but parking might be a problem if you travel during weekdays as it's a shop lot area.

Great place to stay in Langkawi. Very close to shop and restaurants. Pretty spacious to host 2 families. It has 2 bathrooms (but only one of them has a toilet, so plan around that)
