Well, the whirlpool tub was fabulous, the room and bathroom private and spacious. However, the rest of the house was extremely messy (laundry and recycling piled everywhere). I was also put off by the fact that Huey doesn't offer even the bare minimum in "amenities." That is, I asked for coffee and was told, no, but he might be able to find a teabag. Then, after using the restroom, I discovered that there was only a bottle of hand sanitizer and no soap or hand towel. When I went to ask for that, Huey told me, "he doesn't provide that, he only rents the room." While he did go get me a bar of bath soap, he said he didn't have any small towels, though I could have another big towel. I was so astonished by the way this was going that I didn't even bother to ask for something as outlandish as a wash cloth. Again, if the tub is your thing, it made the rest almost worth it. But, I wouldn't stay there again. I've probably stayed at 100 Airbnb homes, and this is the first time I have an actual bad experience.

Huey was very kind and accommodating! I felt secure and welcome, and I was very appreciative of his hospitality. Can't recommend enough!

I enjoy staying at Huey's. The room and the bathroom are huge and clean, Huey is a great host and makes me feel very welcome every time. I give him two thumbs up and greatly recommend his place to others.

Beautiful location! I loved the room, the house, the views, and the luxurious (URL HIDDEN) house is a wonder of it's own. Huey was nice and very welcoming. The room was very private, it felt like a hotel. It was an all around amazing stay.

Marcell was very open to talking whenever I was feeling sociable and would greet me whenever I got back from work or from a walk. If she wasn't there the cats were always happy to greet me in her place. The house was a short walk from the bus stop and a short drive from grocery stores, a movie theater, and the on-ramp for I-5.

The House is located in a nice and quiet neighborhood. The host, Marcell, is the best. She's very laid back and accommodating, with stories to tell. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. As a matter of fact, it has become my home away from home. Whenever I'm in Olympia/Lacey and surround area next time, I will come back and stay here.

Stephanie was such a sweetheart! Her place was cozy and private, useful space heaters and an adorable welcoming committee of cats (: She was very easy to talk to and such a delight to meet!! I would definitely love to book with her again in the future if I ever find myself in Olympia. Who knows, I might just go so I can stay in her guest house again!

We had a lovely one night stay in this cozy abode. From the intricate stonework in the shower to the snacks and coffee, it is evident that Stephanie cares about her guests' experience. The property is wonderfully nestled in the woods, but only minutes from the bustle of downtown. We would definitely stay again.

Michael (my husband, who spent the night here) says that the place was really lovely, he appreciated the friendly communication. The place is beautiful, and he would be very happy to stay here again!

What a beautiful place! Perfect for couples or solo-travelers. The custom-tiled shower looked amazing! It was a perfect location to the wedding venue. Waking up to birds chirping and hearing the trees sway in the wind was perfect!! She has a friendly and loving kitty watching over her place that greets you as your enter or leave the room.

Diane is a warm, welcoming and helpful host. Her house is beautiful and immaculate. Her home is very peaceful. The location is great--within easy walking distance of the state Capitol campus. Diane does keep the thermostat low, which some guests will love and others will find too chilly.

I highly recommend this place. Diane is welcoming and intelligent - the room was superbly clean and comfortable.

We have stayed at several Airbnb's in the Seattle/Olympia area, and Diane's house is at the top of the list. It was beautiful, comfortable, clean, and welcoming. Diane is a Jewel. She asked us what we wanted for breakfast, and then even prepared it for us. She gave us the space we needed, but but was there when we had questions about the area. Is there a 10 star rating we could give her?

This is a beautiful and cozy house. It is in a great neighborhood just blocks from the state Capitol, full of historic houses with old trees and interesting landscaping. Parking was easy and the house was very clean. There is a big, beautiful covered porch surrounded by plants and a cute little backyard area. The kitchen is huge and well equipped. Diane was easygoing, helpful and nice to be around. This was a great find that we will use again.

We really enjoyed staying at the Bamboo Bungalow. It was comfortable, clean and cozy. This is the first Airbnb rental where we have found more than the minimum number of towels! The neighborhood was quiet and we were just a short walk to the San Francisco Street Bakery. We would definitely stay again on our next visit to Olympia.

We found the Bungalow to be a tranquil, impeccably clean, and comfortable retreat that we will definitely visit it again(URL HIDDEN) Karen was most accommodating in resolving a reservations snag so that our stay was exactly what we had planned for. The Bungalow is very convenient to downtown Olympia while still providing a quiet retreat-like setting for relaxing. The grounds are artfully designed with planting a and driftwood though inclement weather prevented us from fully enjoying them(URL HIDDEN) If you're in the market for a reasonably priced, restful retreat from the usual hotel experience, this is the place for you. Karen was very communicative and the place was darling and comfy. The only concern was that I had to call to turn the hot water on but considering this was Thanksgiving she was quick to give directions over the phone. I plan on using her lovely bamboo bungalow again soon.

This basement apartment was clean and spacious. It was also close to public transportation and an easy exit from the main 1-5 freeway.

Roy's place was a very clean, neat and spacious room and he was very helpful with flexibility and communication for our check in. He has an adorable medium-sized dog named Rebel who was just very sweet and loved to play. Lacey is not too far a drive from Olympia where we were able to explore the lovely downtown area and shops. Overall a very nice experience!

The room is ideal. It does come with privacy and your own bathroom, shower and sink. It is also very clean. Included is a desk and chair. Ideal for business trips. As well as a TV and DVD player. I would recommend Roy's room to anyone. I didn't have much interaction with Roy or his roommate as I was working and kept to myself but they are cordial. He also provides parking.

We had a wonderful one night stay in this quiet and cozy cottage. I wish we had been able to enjoy it more. It was clean, private, and quiet. My husband and I are planning to move to Olympia and will be keeping this place in mind for future family visits.

What I enjoyed the most was the location and the quality of "The Cottage. Everything felt new and clean. If Ellen ever comes to are area (Charlotte NC.) I hope she rents our place. The Cottage was the type of place Elaine and I felt at home.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this cute, unique cottage. The kitchen especially reminded me of my aunt's farmhouse kitchen in her historical house in rural New Hampshire - so charming. Although we were only there one night, we really enjoyed putting on the kettle and enjoying the cool evening by having tea in the quiet, private courtyard. The cottage was private and had a beautifully landscape yard. The side yard was especially quaint. It was a nice size, with a large well-stocked kitchen. The bed was comfortable and since I'm a nursing mother, I loved the comfy chair in the bedroom too. One minus--there was an ant problem, but it seemed like the owners were trying to take care of it.

I love this cottage! Though very close to the main street in Olympia, it is very quiet and serene. Ellen has done an amazing job on this cottage--it is a lesson on living small and yet it is full of comfy furniture with the feeling that all you can possibly do is relax here. Very well stocked and has the largest shower head I've ever seen.

The Cottage was a wonderful place to stay. Quaint and quiet, it's tucked behind the main house and completely private. It has a side garden, which was lovely! I absolutely would come back to stay next visit to Olympia.

Tall people beware of low ceilings. Perfect place to relax, sleep and get away from the hustle and bustle of your normal life. Would stay here again if I come back to Olympia. It's also easy to find when you know the trees to look for. Grateful I found it. :)

Teri's cottage was perfect for the two of us. Thoughtfully designed and built as a pleasant, small, and complete apartment. The location was easy to get to and set in a quiet neighborhood. Inside there was good daytime light, a very comfortable bed and full service kitchen. Teri was as attentive as we needed. Of our many Airbnb stays around the world, Teri's is one of our top two. This will be our "go to" spot when visiting family in Olympia.

If you find yourself in the greater Olympia area, you can't do better than Teri and Bob's wonderful cottage. Fresh cookies await you from the local San Francisco bakery, and the location is near whatever it is that my may be seeking. On top of all that, their dog is a love and you can hear the soft sounds of their chickens in the chicken coop while you enjoy a glass of wine in the peaceful back yard that invites you to just sit back and relax. Definitely a wonderful find and I can't wait to return.

This lovely cottage was perfect for me and my sister. We came to the West Coast to visit our sons and loved having this place to retreat to after hectic days. It was so clean and cozy and provided everything we could have asked for. It was a great neighborhood and we would definitely want to stay here again.

The room was comfortable and clean. The bed was comfortable, and Teri even provided fresh eggs and strawberries for us in the fridge. Overall we had a great stay.

We absolutely loved staying in this brand new cottage. The atmosphere is super relaxing and very quiet. The bed was so comfortable and we had the most wonderful nights sleep. Teri and Bob had thought of everything, not a thing missing! Beats every other option in the Olympia area, and is just a very quick and easy drive from the heart of downtown Olympia. When we arrived there were delicious pastries from the local bakery on the table and farm fresh eggs from Teri and Bob's chickens, plus some fruit, granola bars and an spassortment of teas and cocoa. There was also beer and wine in the fridge. We found this to be a really great place to relax and unwind. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Loved it!

I just wanna say that Gabrielle and Beth are amazing!!! They took care of every little detail starting from before I even arrived. My wife and I arrived in town early and Gabby suggested some local eateries to check out. When we got to her place, we were so warmly greeted! They welcomed us into their home and made us feel more like visiting family rather than strangers. The dogs are super well behaved and lovable. The house itself has so much soul... The artwork on the walls (all made by Beth I believe) is fantastic! I checked with Beth and they are all available for purchase! Feel like taking it easy? Hop in the hot tub in the backyard area and soak in the sun and good vibes. Honestly, the experience staying here was far and beyond my highest expectations. With Gabrielle being a relatively new Airbnb host, I know the level of her guest's experiences will only get better!

This place is SO CUTE! It has been organized and decorated in such a unique and creative way, so if you're into artsy stuff you will definitely enjoy this space! The dogs are hilarious and I recommend playing fetch with them for a few minutes because it's quite entertaining--seriously though, play with the dogs! I briefly spoke with Gabrielle, as I was out most of the time, but still felt super comfortable being in her home. Communication was a breeze before I arrived and our short chats in person were nice!

Quite a comfortable stay. I loved the fun house. I enjoy looking at original fixtures, and Gabrielle's house is an enjoyable mix of made a long time ago and modern convenience. The bedroom is spacious and relaxing to be in, and she provided a heater for colder nights. Gabrielle is also good at communicating with needs and it's a comfortable environment for unique people like me.

I really appreciated her recommendations for activities and restaurants in Olympia and flexibility with my arrival and departure times. I must have missed somehow from the description that the bedroom and shared bathroom were on different floors from each other - that is my only commentary that isn't entirely positive. I definitely recommend the house/room/hostess!

Gabrielle was very attentive to making sure our needs were met when we arrived. The home is fun and comfortable and the room was clean and cozy. We felt welcome to use the kitchen as needed and where offered a shelf in the refrigerator and in a cabinet to keep any food. The location is wonderful, we got there after dark on a Friday night and felt perfectly comfortable walking to the downtown area for dinner (so nice to not have to get back into the car).
