Places to stay in Lake George

Places to stay in Lake George
We have a cozy, rustic cabin (though updated) on 40 acres and very near the national forest. Skiing, snowshoeing, biking, fishing- lots of outdoors adventures nearby! You are also welcome to wander the property as well. Deer, elk, fox, bear and even some moose have been seen on the property. This is one of four cabins built in the late 40's or early 50's. We are restoring the cabins as well as the forest and pond.
Pike National Forest is very close by (easy walking distance). Mueller State Park, Colorado Wolf & Wildlife Center and Eleven mile Reservoir are all a short drive away.
  • We loved this place. We had the comfort of a cabin in the woods without the long drives to different attractions.

  • We had the most amazing and peaceful stay. The cabin has a wonderful rustic and very homey feel to it. So comfortable and had all the amenities you could ask for and more. You will not be disappointed. They are the best hosts and will afford you privacy if that’s what you’re looking for. Simply wonderful!

  • It was a nice and cozy place with everything a family could need such as trays, plates, pans, towels, cups, shampoo and etc. Lee’s place offers privacy, peace and quiet. It’s a very good place to build a snowman and sled. And if your lucky enough you can spot some deers.

  • Great spot, price and great hosts! The cabin was cozy, but enough space for our family and dog! We loved the thoughtful little touches around the cabin too. Will definitely keep this in mind for return trips to the area.

  • Our stay was so cozy and relaxing. Great getaway for our little family. So happy our dog, Bear was welcome also. The cabin was very clean, which gave me peace of mind that our 10month old could crawl around and enjoy the space also. Would love to visit again!

  • Great space close to hiking and Manitou Springs. We were greeted by deer our first evening on the property and woke up to some beautiful snow on our last morning. A great space to stay and relax which feels like home.

  • Regina is a very thoughtful host! Her cabin is cozy and warm. 100% preferred it to staying at any hotel. It’s like a mini condo and the decor and feel is homey and woodsy. The only thing I think anyone should know is the restroom isn’t attached to the bedroom. Other than that, it’s absolutely perfect. We had an amazing time and made some great memories. It’s not that far of a drive from many of the fun outdoor activities we planned, but we had our own car and drove to many places. There was absolutely no traffic in comparison to Houston, which was also very nice. Overall a great experience. Would highly recommend.

  • Cozy cabin, would definitely reccomend based on value and experience! Not too far from denver if you're looking to get out of the city and conveniently located near many geological points of interest. The owners are very thoughtful, responsive, and communicate very clearly. A great find!

Experience life in the Colorado Rockies as it was 100 years ago! We have added some 20th century to the mix. Walk out to 1000 acres of Nat. Forest, rockhounding, fishing and reconnecting with nature. 40 min from Co. Spgs & 30 min from Cripple Creek.
Our 1860's cabin started out as a stagecoach stop and was turned into a homestead in the 1880's. The cabin sits on our 21 acre horse ranch. It backs to the Pike National Forest. Lake George is famous for rockhounding. The Prospector's show on the Weather Channel is filmed around Lake George. The cabin is a mile off of highway 24 but feels secluded. There is a country store, restaurant and liquor store within a couple miles. There is a cooktop, pots and pans, dishes, utensils. toaster, refrigerator, microwave, outside a grill with supplies.Keurig coffee maker complete with coffee, tea and cocoa. Bagels and cream cheese and some fresh eggs from our chickens. Woodstove with plenty of firewood and a firepit outside.DVD player with movies.
Lake George is only 40 minutes from Colorado Springs. Garden of the Gods, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Cave of the Winds are located there. We are 30 minutes from Cripple Creek..turn of the century gambling town. The Royal Gorge is an hour south.
  • We can’t say enough about the sweet little cabin at Idlewild Ridge Ranch! The spot was easily accessible and just off the highway but felt super secluded! This was the perfect rustic but very romantic cabin! My husband really enjoyed building fires in the wood stove and I enjoyed the claw foot tub! The bed couldn’t have been any comfier & we LOVED the heated mattress pad - it really kept us warm on very cold nights. I knew we may not get cell reception (AT&T) but the Wifi worked perfectly & we had no problems FaceTiming our kids back in NC. Stephanie was very prompt in communication and the keypad entry for check-in was very convenient. We loved exploring the property and found some beautiful gems along the way! My only complaint is that we didn’t get to stay longer!!

    Kimberly2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • We planned the stay for our anniversary and it was great. We had cozy fires and great hiking nature experiences. We were able to take our dog with us and had a big fenced yard so it worked out pretty well.

    Carrie2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • This is an awesomely unique stay. The history of the place alone is cool but Stephanie has decorated this old cabin into an extraordinary experience. We loved having our own yard for our dog to run and play. The view of PikeNF was beautiful. We had the pleasure of meeting their horses and getting a hug from one of them. It was great that the cabin is located close to convenience store and the pizza was awesome there. Easy access to the highway but we never heard any road noise. This was our first Airbnb and everything was beyond expectations! The hosts are great people.

    Laura2019-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was very well decorated and comfortable. Dwayne greeted us as we arrived and informed us on some of the attractions in the area; including the best one of all, the back yard! We met Stephanie a bit later, and she was very sweet and helpful. Such an amazing place to relax, would definitely recommend!

    Kacie2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Glad we found Stephanie’s place

    Pete2019-08-10T00:00:00Z
  • Rustic, cute, quiet, and very enjoyable.

    Amy2019-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • Peaceful rustic cabin that feels very secluded while still being near to shops and restaurants. There is a cabin next door so it is not completely private but the front porch faces the forest so you don’t even notice. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

    Kara2019-07-20T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin is just delightful - a wonderful combination of rustic and super comfortable. You have absolutely everything you need, including access to the beautiful mountainside the cabin faces. If you're expecting a remote location, this isn't it as it is only about 1/4 mile from the main road/highway. However, it is quiet and the front porch faces the national park and private land, so you feel like you're way out of the little town. There is another cabin near this one, so it isn't completely private. Still, the setting is delightful, including a great, old-fashioned tree swing about 20 paces from the front porch. Sitting out on the porch you'll see your share of hummingbirds and chipmunks. Enjoy!

Wonderful 1920s cabin on 20 acres...backs up to National Forest. 70 min to Breckenridge for skiing, 30 minutes to Cripple Creek for adult fun, 45 min to Colorado Springs with all the great attractions. Best is being with those your love by the woodstove with hot chocolate and a board game! Your kids will love it and your fur babies have two large fenced areas to run around the cabin with a dog door for them to feel right at home!
The property was originally a stagecoach stop in 1860 and the ranch house was built in 1920. Great history around this place. The forest behind has amazing boulder fields and great rockhounding. Prayer trees and medicine trees are up in the forest...a gift from the Ute Indians.
So many beautiful places to fish, hike and explore within 2 miles of the cabin. So accessible to Hwy 24 and Woodland Park. Country convenience store a mile from the cabin.
  • My pup and I loved our stay at Stephanie’s cabin! I was able to relax and read by the fire while my dog came and went as he wanted. I have a 90lb Bernese Mountain dog and he got through the doggie door just fine, and the fence around the perimeter was secure so I didn’t have to worry about him. I was looking for somewhere that was close to Colorado Springs (where I live) that was also secluded and out in the woods, that’s exactly what I found in Stephanie’s cabin. The cabin was excellent, and had everything I needed. If you’re looking for that “cabin feel,” this is your place. The location is great if you’re looking to hike, take day trips to tourists spots, or just get away into the wilderness.

    Brandon2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay! It was January so we spent lots of cozy time by the wood stove and Stephanie had tons of wood ready and waiting. All of the beds were super comfy. Dogs loved the fenced in yard and felt right at home! Kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook plus a charcoal grill out back. Super cozy cabin and a nice way to get away for the weekend!

    Meredith2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at the cabin for a weekend family trip and we absolutely loved it. We loved that it was pet friendly so we were able to bring our two dogs and let them roam freely in the fenced areas. The cabin is so cozy and homey feeling, we didn’t want our trip to end and we are already planning a trip back in the future. Stephanie was so friendly and thoughtful, all the personal touches she thought of like toys for our toddler made our stay that much better. Our first morning there we woke up to see antelope grazing in the field right outside the cabin. The location is amazing for anyone looking for somewhere away from the city without being too far from conveniences or attractions.

    Madison2019-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • Beyond words. Exceeded expectations ten fold. From outdoor adventures and hiking where we found a rare native stone to a dog run for our pooch. Stars that are captivating and that will leave you in awe. Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place

    Amber2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Great cabin in a location central to many scenic areas. Stephanie was a great host and very quick to respond to questions, as well as provide suggestions for the area.

    Patrick2019-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful spot, lovely cabins with fun decor and historic touches. We rented both cabins so our family could stay in the larger of the two and everybody loved it. My brother and his kids took a nice around the property that they lived and found some cool rocks for souvenirs. Stephanie was great with communication and so helpful with any questions we had. We will definitely be back!

    Lesley2019-09-21T00:00:00Z

  • Thank you so much for hosting us in your beautiful home! My fiancé and I took a trip down on a Sunday to look at our wedding venue for this year. Cooked a great little dinner right in the house that night. And went to The Pantry for breakfast in the morning seven minutes away. Absolutely lovely space, love the quaintness, and it felt like home for the night! Would stay again in a heartbeat! Thank you for everything! Cheers!

There are fluffy white towels, a comfy bed and amenities such as snacks, water bottles and toiletries. The attention to detail and warmth Butch and Susan show their guests make it evident that hosting is truly a labor of love for them!

  • We had a amazingly comfortable stay with Susan and Butch! All we needed was a bed to sleep in since we were celebrating Christmas with family near by. Felt bad about having to rush out with no time to eat the cinnamon rolls that Butch had prepared! Just sorry we didn’t get to stay longer to hang out and chat with these gracious hosts! Beautiful house with an amazing view! You’d be dumb not to stay with them!

    Kristopher2019-12-25T00:00:00Z

  • Our weekday getaway turned more into a stuck in the snow adventure Linley was an amazing host words can't express how grateful I am for her wonderful hospitality The tiny home itself was amazing everything I imagined all thought my trip was short I know without a doubt I will be back maybe this time I'll just wait for the summer 😂 THANK YOU Linley

    Nicole2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • This is an amazing place, great value, and perfect for two or three people! The host is very kind, responsive, and helpful. The area is wonderful, the home is conveniently located close-by to a delicious restaurant called the Swiss chalet- perfect for a romantic getaway! Be mindful that the master bed is up in a loft with plenty of space to sit up whilst in a laying down position, the bed is very comfy, and you need to watch your head whilst getting up to climb down the ladder- I had no problems with this and it was expected after I saw photos of the property but I just want others to realize this before booking if it makes them uncomfortable. Gorgeous and thoughtful touches really set this place apart as well as its unique architecture and wonderful owner!

    Trisha2020-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • This was our first time staying in a tiny house, and it was a lot of fun. It had its fair share of quirks, but it is amazing what you can do with such a small space. The water went out on us (pipes froze in the park) and Linley was immediately on it and had the matter resolved within an hour or so. The directions we were given were very clear and we found it on the first try. No issues with the Wi-Fi either. A few things we felt were worth noting: - In the cold winter days, make sure you have a spare water bottle or two, just in case the pipes freeze. I can't imagine this is a common thing, but we weren't prepared and should have been. Linley offered us another place to stay in the meantime, but the water was restored before we needed it. - This is in a trailer and tiny house park. You'll see both in the area. We knew that before booking, though I'm not sure I would have gathered that without going through some of the reviews. The area felt very safe from the moment we got there. It was also very quiet, despite being relatively close to Hwy 24.

    Jennifer2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • I went to stay at Erik’s place with a couple friends from out of town and had a wonderful experience. We chose this place because it was very reminiscent of a cabin we used to stay at near the Seattle area and the place met every need we wanted. The cabin was perfectly ready for us upon arrival with clear instructions for everything and even included a good amount of food and drinks for us. Erik spoke very kindly and answered every question we had right away. Would very much recommend this place to anyone looking for a mountain getaway like we were.

  • This place is great, it was my first time using the app and I haven't got a single regret. Perfect size for a small group, and in a prime location. Nothing is too far out of the way, and Eric did a fantastic job of making sure we had everything we needed before we got there 10/10

Rock Rest Eco-Cabin was custom built by the owners in 2018. Dedicated to grandparents Ralph & Helen Trout who taught us to love and respect the mountains & nature that resides there. The goal was to create an original structure that combines modern lines with rustic textures, and has minimal impact on the environment. A crane was used to hoist the beams over the trees to disturb the site as little as possible. Rock Rest is a living art piece. We are excited to share it with you!
The cabin utilizes reclaimed and locally sources material, plus cutting edge building technology to provide an experience that is convenient and comfortable. The cabin features above code insulation, high efficiency windows, modern building wrap, reclaimed 100 year old wood siding and locally sources beams. We have a state of the art waste water treatment system that feeds the trees. And a tankless hot water heater. Inside and outside lighting is low watt. Future projects are a solar system for the roof and a new water well. We will soon be completely off grid!!! The kitchen is totally modern and fully stocked with everything you need to cook a wonderful meal for up to six guests. Custom concrete counter tops inlaid with polished stones and fossils compliment the stainless steel appliances, open shelving and oak stained cupboards. The bedroom stays extra warm with a six foot baseboard heater installed permanently behind the queen bed. A second twin XL daybed is suspended, accessed by ladder, directly below a long horizontal window overlooking the valley. Plenty of fun and fluffy linens guarantee a cozy stay on the coldest of winter nights. The bathroom is a perfectly clean and efficient space. The powder room has an oak vanity and mirror with a modern sink and lighting. The shower has a custom stainless steel surround with a polished river rock mosaic pan. The baseboard heater in the lav and our tankless hot water heater guarantees you can always enjoy a hot shower. Our cozy living room has a wood burning stove, 40” Smart TV with Netflix, Bluetooth sound bar, HD DVD player, industrial and rustic furniture. There is a very comfy custom build twin XL daybed as well. The HUGE sliding glass door addresses the front porch with a twin XL swing and the beautiful forest surrounding it.
The property is a mile down the road from The Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center and Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is also nearby. There are 14 miles of local hiking trails and Eleven Mile Lake is a great place to fish and boat.

Fawn Cabin is an authentic mountain cabin that truly says Colorado! Set on 5+ acres with beautiful views and privacy. Enjoy the relaxing sounds of the brook rippling thru from the deck, soak in the hot tub, and just relax. Enjoy viewing the deer and other abundant wildlife that are right outside the door. Just 20 minutes from Cripple Creek, 20 minutes from the South Platte river in Eleven Mile Canyon, 10 minutes from Florissant Fossil Beds. Two hours from Denver. One hour from Colo Spgs.
I think the pictures pretty much tell the story. Fawn Cabin is a very beautiful and inviting place where you can relax and unwind in the Colorado Rockies, while still being close enough to all the Pikes Peak area attractions to keep you as busy and entertained as you wish to be. Cripple Creek is only minutes away. Many great hiking trails and trout fishing waters nearby too choose from.
The cabin is situated in Deer Mountain Ranch, a mountain community of homes and cabins on 5 + acre lots. Fawn Cabin has no neighbors on the adjoining lots, and the nearest neighbor is across the road approximately 300-400 yards. The location is very private and peaceful!
  • Beautiful location. Driveway is a bit steep so 4WD or AWD are definitely a good thing to have for snowy or muddy times. Nice and quite, great view of the stars at night!

    Heather2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • If you’re looking for a cabin that makes you feel at home, this one is it! Cozy and charming. We very much so enjoyed our stay here. The view of the mountains is amazing during the day, and sitting in the hot tub at night gives you a breathtaking view of all of the stars in the night sky also. Wayne was very friendly and quick at responding if we had any questions. Overall, our stay was lovely! We will definitely be back again soon.

    Stephanie2020-03-01T00:00:00Z

  • If you are looking for a quaint getaway in a beautiful area.. look no further! Me and my husband went here for our honeymoon and had a wonderful time. We saw lots of animals and got some R&R. Make sure you have 4WD to get up the 2nd part of the driveway depending on weather. We got a few inches of snow on our visit (which made that powdery driveway a great sled area) and the hot tub was the best part! Wayne is a pleasure to talk to and super accommodating when we needed to book 1 night super last minute. It's a great place to just getaway.

    Becka2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin had an absolutely beautiful view and is very charming. The host was extremely nice and quick to respond if anything was needed. I will definitely recommend this cabin to anyone I know. We loved it!

  • Fantastic mountain getaway! Wonderful location for exploring some of Colorado’s best attractions. The wood stove was great, as was the hot tub after a long day of exploring. The accommodations were very nice and the WiFi was a definite plus. Great communication from Wayne, and the check in could not have been easier. Highly recommend staying at the cabin. I am looking forward to staying here again on my next trip to Colorado.

This cozy 2 bedroom 2 bath cabin, on 1 1/2 acres nestled in the trees. Great views anywhere on the wrap around deck. Cozy living area with wood fireplace, full kitchen including a dish washer. Master bedroom, Jack and Jill bathroom off bedroom and hallway, on main level. Basement has second bedroom and bathroom. Has a T.V area with pull out sofa, with walk out to back. Close to town about 3 miles away. About 10 mins. from town of Cripple Creek. Fishing, Hiking lots more in the area.
Walk into this cabin and feel at home.
You will have one neighbor across from cabin.
  • Michele's place is a really nice mountain cabin in a great location off the beaten path yet only a 20 minute drive to both Cripple Creek and Woodland Park. We snowshoed at Mueller State Park which is also close by. Super clean with everything you need in the kitchen to prepare meals. It has tile floors but with radiant heating feels really warm and cozy even during cold winter nights. The deck wraps around the entire cabin with scenic views of the area. Enjoyed the comfortable furniture with Roku TV and it was plenty big for the two of us, but there was more than enough room for another couple with another bedroom and bathroom downstairs. Beautiful wooded neighborhood - wish we lived there!

  • Easy to find; just far enough off the beaten path, but not hidden. Great cabin, beautiful wraparound porch with a nice view. Nice rustic furniture, excellent fireplace, stays warm easily. Lots of dishes and kitchenware for meals. Plenty of linens and cleaning supplies. 10/10, can't wait to come back! Maybe a bit heavy on the moose memorabilia :)

    Jason2019-11-30T00:00:00Z
  • Great location for just about all the Colorado has. The cabin was great.. amenities great...the host is more than great(including her better half). You are just far enough away from town. Although you don't have direct view of pike's peak..I like the cabin view better. Connectivity was great. ..no issues even during snow storms. The value of the cabin stay is definitely well above many I have been exposed including international. Will definitely keep on my ...will return list.

    Mark L.2019-10-31T00:00:00Z
  • The moose cabin is perfect location. Roads are routinely maintained. Just off 24 highway. Never heard any neighbors only wildlife. View is fantastic. Michele is very prompt on any issues u have. Kitchen has plenty of pots pans etc. Bsck deck is not large but does the job. Bbq grill ready for use.

    Mark L.2019-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin was simply amazing. It was very clean, very cozy and felt just like home. This exceeded our family's expectations! It was very private and peaceful. The cabin was stocked with all the necessities. We are a family of 6, and this was the perfect size and place for us. I would absolutely stay here again and would definitely recommend.

    Rachel2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Michelle was a very good host. The managed property we stayed at was very well kept, the photos of the property were accurate, and the property was clean, with good directions provided on-site for thermostat, grill, bear-awareness, pet policy, etc. Overall a great first AirBnB experience.

Enjoy views of the lake from the porch while reflecting on your day. My cabin is conveniently located within minutes of Eleven Mile Canyon and reservoir, Tarryall Creek, Pike National Forest, Cripple Creek, Breckenridge Ski resort, world class fly fishing, ATV trails, rock climbing, and hiking. 20 minutes to Woodland Park 1/2 an hour to Cripple Creek 40 minutes to Manitou Springs 1.5 hours to Monarch 1.5 hours to Breckenridge 2.75 hours to Great Sand Dunes National Park
My cabin is located in a rural area and your cell phone provider may not have coverage in the area. Verizon is pretty dependable in most Colorado mountain towns. By driving to Lake George or Divide (10-15 minutes east or west) you should get service with any provider.
  • Very nice and clean. Great size and location for us, and near the fly fishing that we did. Wi-Fi worked well. Our first time to this area, and just loved it.

    Terry2019-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • Attended a wedding in the area and this was a perfect spot. Cabin is very clean and Irene was responsive with my questions. Was thankful for the good wifi. Folks at the wedding venue had NO wifi. Sorry to say I could not live without that. One of the main reason I chose this place. 2 beds in the loft area, master has it's own bath on the main floor and a 2nd bath on the main floor. Irene, thanks for being a good host.

    Patricia2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Irene’s cabin was wonderful. It had excellent access to 11 Mile Canyon and we were able to take midday breaks when the fishing was slow. The cabin was incredibly clean, quiet, and comfortable.

    Jill2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin was so charming. Immaculate and well appointed. The porch and view was my favorite part. We watched deer every day.

    Karen2019-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • Great place...soooo clean and well stocked...Irene was very helpful and knows the area well. If you want to get away into the amazing CO mountains, you should stay here!

Pineridge Cabin is a cozy honeymooner's get-away nestled on a wooded hillside at 9,400 feet above sea level. It is located nine miles from Cripple Creek, to the south, and nine miles from Divide, to the north, and thirty-fives miles west of downtown Colorado Springs. Approximately forty-five miles from the Colorado Springs Airport and 122 miles from the Denver International Airport. It offers all of the amenities of home except a washer and dryer but the scenery and views well make up for it.
Our cabin is also located 2 miles from Mueller State Park for miles of hiking trails and endless wildlife. Just next to that is the Crags that offers the western trail up to the top of Pikes Peak. Close by is Eleven Mile Reservoir and the South Platte River. And in the cabin are brochures for endless activities in and around the area to include Colorado Springs. All-wheel drive or four-wheel drive is required in the winter months. All-wheel drive or front-wheel drive is recommended for spring, summer, and fall months. A Note to interested folks: We have encountered some extensive damage due to the neglect of past guests either not reading our house rules once they have booked or simply not following our guest expectations, operating procedures, and rules once they check in. This cabin is our personal property and not a chain hotel such as the Hilton. We do take pride in keeping our cabin clean and in great shape for not only our guests to use and enjoy, but also for our personal use and enjoyment. There are some simple rules that need to be reviewed and understood once you have reserved the cabin. The operating procedures for fireplace use, hot tub use, heat settings, and lock up procedures are set in place for guests who have never used these items before. And they are also put in place to ensure our cabin or hot tub does not freeze in the sub-zero winter weather due to neglect; or the cabin does not catch on fire due to unfamiliarity or neglect in use of the fireplace. We also ask that guests leave the cabin in the condition found upon check in. We do not live near the cabin and it is only polite to leave the cabin neat and tidy just as you found it and not leave our cabin in a condition as if you were checking out of the hotel. The person that takes care of the cabin comes from 17 miles away in rain, shine, or snow to help us keep it in order. Unfortunately guests cannot see the "Simple House Rules" until you reserve our cabin. But if you do reserve the cabin and cannot agree to the "Simple House Rule" in helping take care of the cabin, please promptly cancel your reservations and find another listing to choose from. We do apologize for sounding this way but it is frustrating when guests cause or extensive damage due to neglect when the "Simple House Rule" are clearly identified. Thank you.
Quiet neighborhood. The peace and quiet and the views from the deck and the hot tub just make it a wonderful, relaxing getaway. The wildlife, mainly deer, walk by the cabin often on the trail behind and in front.
  • Barry and Karen’s place is beautiful and clean makes you feel like you’re at home. I would definitely go back the hot tub and the view from the porch are great.Just all-around beautiful

  • 5 stars plus! Excellent AirBnb. Exceeded expectations. Barry and Karen were very quick to respond to any questions we had. The places was clean, hot tub was great, and the views were amazing. Definitely recommend this place and hope to be back soon.

  • The location can't be beat if you are looking for a true mountain getaway. It was super cozy with all the amenities you need. The hot tub was amazing for soaking after a long day of snowshoeing at nearby Mueller State Park. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and utensils and even a few basic oils and spices. I would highly recommend staying at this cabin if you are looking for a relaxing retreat!

    Jane2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • Great cabin away from the hustle and bustle of regular life. Close to many great hiking areas which makes the hot tub so worth it. Saw many reviews complaining of house rules but we felt they were all pretty simple and straightforward.

    Keith2019-10-18T00:00:00Z
  • Had a great stay! The views were amazing. The drive up is a little intimidating, but easy once you know where you're going.

This space is an entire basement floor with a private entrance, one bedroom, a relaxing separate living room, and luxurious bathroom with a private sauna. The hot tub and front porch overlook beautiful Pike's Peak. We are minutes from downtown Woodland park with cute local restaurants, parks and shops. We can't wait to share our favorite city with you!
Your space is the entire basement floor of our home, and is separate from out living area upstairs. Since this is our primary residence, you will probably be able to hear us moving about upstairs, but we do our best not to be overly noisy. You will have your own bedroom with a very comfortable queen bed, living room with pull out couch, kitchenette, bathroom with sauna, and hot tub. The kitchenette does not have a full oven, but we did provide a hot plate and large toaster oven. There is also a fireplace for you to use. The space has an Amazon Firestick that you can use a variety of streaming services that we will leave signed in for your use (Hulu, Netflix, etc). We just ask that you use our guest accounts for those services. There are also several channel apps that you can access using your cable or satellite subscription. We would ask that all smoking be done outdoors and away from the house.
Our neighborhood is relatively quiet, but very close to some cute shops and restaurants in downtown Woodland Park. We really enjoy Local Lion Coffee Shop, AJ's Pizza, and Memorial Park. We are located 12 miles from the entrance of Pikes Peak, 17 miles from Garden of the Gods, and 19 miles from downtown Colorado Springs.
  • Great space with amazing hot tub and sauna! The views are great, and the little town of woodland park has great places to eat and things to see. There was also recommendations on the best places to eat and things to do which were great!

  • Beautiful place! Perfect place for a Colorado get away in the mountains

    Rachael2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • This was our first time staying at an Airbnb and it did not disappoint! We honeymooned here from Texas and the location is awesome. It’s far enough away from the noise of the town but close enough to anything you could want, be it food, nightlife, tourist attractions, etc. It was a lovely place to retreat back to after spending the day sightseeing. Easy to make yourself at home and relax. Highly recommend on all fronts!

    Justin2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome place with awesome people Definitely recommend staying here. Super cozy and quite place. Hot tub and sauna was a hit, my family loved it, check in was next to effortless I loved everything about it

    Eliomar2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Nice cozy place! Sauna was awesome. Didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub but love that it’s there to use. Recommend 4WD in the winter because their driveway is fairly steep. It was cleared the first night but after a squall it was frozen over again and a little tricky to maneuver. The dogs are a bit loud but it’s only in the mornings and before bed. Our last night they were getting some sort of stone work done because a truck was blocking the driveway and there was a bit of banging upstairs. It wasn’t an unreasonable hour or anything but a heads up would have been nice. Luckily Domino’s delivers up there!

    Kayleigh2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • The place was great! Anything and everything any traveler might need Craig and Laura have covered. Definitely recommend everyone to stay here if they’re in the area!

    Jairo2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Very cute place, in a beautiful location. Craig was so kind and left tons of tips for great restaurants near by. 10 out of 10 would recommend!!!

    Caroline2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Craig and Laura have such an incredible place. It is kept clean and there are so many special little touches to make it feel like home away from home. We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed the entire time we were here. Craig and Laura went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and could make the most out of our trip!

We did horse back riding and the guide was great and so sweet to our kids. We really enjoyed our time there! Thanks for a great experience!

  • It was my second stay at 35 Acre Mountain Cabin, and it was just as lovely as my first. I visited a year ago and didn't realize they had gotten rid of the hot tub! Despite that, the house was as beautiful and cozy as ever, and the view was to die for! Had an amazing weekend!

  • If you want a true Colorado experience look no further. Wake up in the morning look outside the windows and see some of the most beautiful views you could dream of

  • The cabin was better than expected. We arrived a day or so after it snowed and Mark had the driveway freshly plowed to allow easy entry. The view off the back porch & deck are breathtaking. Location was great. We enjoyed the privacy. It was just a short scenic 20 min drive to Woodland Park which has everything you need. The cabin is stocked with all essentials. Even has board games in the closet. WiFi was strong, so no issues there. We spent one day exploring the property & snow sledding. Would definitely recommend staying here.

    Jon2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was perfect and the view was amazing. It was very spacious for my family of 7.

  • Marks place was an absolute dream! The photos in the listing don’t do it justice AT ALL! The views are phenomenal, the cabin was cozy and inviting. My family and I had the best time there. We will sure miss his sweet dogs too. I’m normally not a dog person but they were so sweet and well behaved, I would have let them sleep with us had he not said they needed to be let out at night. Mark was very helpful when I had a question and got back to me quickly. Lastly, being from Texas, the Texas touches throughout the house kept us feeling close to home. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to go back!

    Melissa2020-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • This place is amazing! We have done airbnb in many parts of Colorado and this cabin has the best view I've ever seen. Oh, and we live in Colorado! Mark is a really great host who is very responsive to messages and will also make you feel like you have the whole mountain to yourself. We were even able to see the New Years fireworks off of Pikes Peak! We will most definitely be come back.

  • This cabin was more then I could have expected. I’m so happy I chose to stay on the outskirts of Colorado Springs! Location was amazing , my husband was in love with the whole place (it was a surprise for him). The whole place had a great cabin feel , all the way down to the bedroom. Would 100 percent recommend (which I already have)!

  • Loved this cabin!! It was a perfect weekend getaway. The place is gorgeous and Andrew was so thoughtful about every detail and put so much love into it. We had a great time relaxing and exploring around the area. I wish we could have stayed longer!

  • What a beautiful place in such a quiet area. This place has everything you need and more. Cant aait to book again.

  • We had a great stay at Andrew's cabin. It is so cozy! Perfect for winter nights by the gas stove, watching a movie. The cabin is beautifully constructed and the hot tub was a dream! The kitchen had the basic amenities for cooking meals, the bathroom spacious and the bed very comfortable. The location was great, felt a little in the woods but not too far from amenities. Communication and check in were easy. We had sunny weather while we were there so the roads were clear, but if you go when there is snow you may need AWD/4WD to get back to the house in the neighborhood more comfortably. We would definitely recommend!

  • Amazing place for a weekend getaway!

    Christopher2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Andrew’s place was even cuter than the pictures! The octagonal shape of the cabin can’t help but make it feel warm and cozy. We were very comfortable and appreciated all the thought and care that went into making it such a warm and welcoming escape! Would definitely come back.

  • This place is such a gem! Andy is very helpful and communicative through every step. The photos of the place don’t do it justice. Thought and detail is put into every square inch.

  • Loved this cabin! Cozy, cute, comfortable. Perfect way to escape the city. Highly recommend Heidi's cabin.

    Emily2018-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is cute and perfect for a couple or small family getaway. Nestled on a hill among pines, the deck offers an amazing view with super comfy adirondack chairs. The kitchen was stocked with enough utensils for cooking. A small charcoal grill is available outside. Be sure to bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid. The lounge area and living room are very cozy and stocked with board games. We enjoyed Battleship and a classic potato head :) The icing on the cake is the vintage record player. Florissant was a nice location for several day trips and scenic drives. I recommend visiting Red Rock Canyon Open Space near Colorado Springs. Overall, we had amazing stay and would highly recommend this cabin for a quiet, relaxing stay.

  • This is a beautiful setting and a lovely, clean cabin. Plenty of space for two to comfortably lounge around. The wrap around porch was my favorite part!

    Melissa2018-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • Heidi's place was great!! The cabin is nestled among the trees and feels pretty private. Everything we needed for our stay was there. The location is close enough to all of the sights, but far enough away to not feel touristy or crowded. Heidi provided a binder with local spots and activities. I would definitely recommend Heidi as a host A++.

    Darrell2018-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is a gem. Heidi is a great host and they decorated the cabin in a way that felt like it was a friend's place. Cabin had all the amenities required for a vacation and then nice extras like a record played and lovely porch.

    Lauren2018-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • Great place, highly recommended

    Mark2018-07-29T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy and clean, we were very happy with our stay in Heidi's cabin. We were attending a wedding up the road, so the location was the most important element and it delivered. Very scenic and peaceful.

Cozy. Three bedrooms and two baths with full kitchen and wood burning stove. Five beds, one futon and I can provide air mattress. More function than fancy. On sixty acres, You’ll be isolated yet close to conveniences. I will leave extra coats and boots because you never know how the weather will be. You may use any food stuff in the house. LLAMAS will be on the property, you can interact with them.
    Entire house.
It’s hard to say there is a neighborhood because there are no other people within 1/3 mile. Make all the noise you want. My property faces a paved road, County Road One. This can be important for accessibility, emergencies and convenience. Close by,3+ miles are two convenience stores, post office, one bar, two sit down restaurants. One burger joint, one sandwich place and one gas station. My property shares a fence with National Park and City Park with playground, library, baseball field
  • Great place if you're into farms & in a great location. Simple & practical outpost that provided easy access to Pike's Peak, the CO Wolf & Wildlife Center, Colorado Springs & all the great parks/scenery in western CO. Lisa was nearby to offer any help or any tourist suggestions. Great all around experience for a no-frills family vacation.

  • Pros: The cabin was a very cute place to stay, as well as very clean. We slept well in the comfortable queen bed. The location was quiet and relaxing while still having easy access from the freeway. The cabin is in close proximity to many hiking areas and a few yummy local restaurants. Con: If you have AT&T, you won’t have cell reception but once you find your way there you will have WIFI; the Apple map app or a Garmin GPS works to find the location of the cabin, but if you miss a turn, the app & GPS aren’t able to relocate due to the reception, so your best bet is to print the directions and bring them with you just incase.

  • Perfect place to land and recharge during a fishing trip to Elevenmile Canyon. Great location, cozy space, and thoughtful touches to boot. Would recommend!

    Zoey2020-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • Good, small space for the area and not too far from Woodland Park. Secluded and quiet for sure so if you are looking for rest, this is good place. Everything worked well but internet was spotty at times. As expected for this kind of area though.

    Victor2019-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • Called Creekside Cabin, but the creek was the least impressive thing about this place! We were so at home in Pete's cabin, couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to stay. It was so cozy and clean, with ample heating and amenities. A lot of reviews had me worried about the highway being close, but it was totally peaceful inside and out. Didn't hear a single honk all weekend! I could go on, but you get the point. Book it! You won't regret it.

  • This was the second destination of our honeymoon. Quaint, beautiful cabin outside of Florissant. Great place place to get away!

    Jordan2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful upscale cabin...super convenient

    April2019-10-10T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful location. Super clean, stylish and comfortable.

    Sabrina2019-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is fabulous! We stayed here for our honeymoon and it had the perfect set up. Fantastic amenities, absolutely immaculate on the inside. The pictures don’t do it justice. The town is great and extremely easy to navigate and close to great cities. We never ran out of things to do because it’s close to some incredible activities and places. Amazing views. Walked out onto the porch to see elk right in front of us. I wanted to move right in. My ONLY complaint, is the highway being so close. There’s constant traffic noise, but it was such a small detail that it didn’t matter too much in the end. There’s not as much privacy as we had hoped for, but the views and location over all is unbeatable. We had an incredible time and would love to come back someday.
