I was looking for a place to unwind and sit in the quiet space of nature. The cabin was absolutely perfect! I sat on the porch watching birds until it was dark, then sat next to a cozy fire! Stephanie is the perfect host - she has thought of everything in making the cabin a relaxing, comfortable retreat. My favorite was the heated mattress pad on the super comfortable king sized bed. Well, that and bagels and coffee in the morning. The ranch is beautiful and close to things to do - whether it be walking around and bouldering near the cabin or driving to the fossil beds, Cripple Creek or the Springs! Duane was also nice enough to ask if I needed any help with the fire place (I just wanted to make sure I was doing everything right). They are the perfect hosts and have creating the perfect Airbnb!

Great time we where met at the door given the grand tour of the facility. Exactly what I was hoping for. Very private, quiet yet you knew if you needed anything they were there.

We were lucky enough to get to stay at Stephanie's amazing cabin for two nights and wish we could have stayed longer! The cabin was super cozy and full of history, plus full of little touches that Stephanie had made to make sure we felt welcome and at home. My husband and I brought our 18 month old, who loved getting to run around the ranch to feed the horses, gawk at the chickens and hope to see a dog. We went to two nearby state parks one day, but honestly, with a national forest right outside the cabin door, we could've easily stayed put and explored the mountains next to the ranch!

This was the most beautiful place I have ever stayed in. Stephanie's cabin took me away to another place. I knew instantly when I arrived that one night would not be enough, and that I would be returning for a longer stay. Both Stephanie and her husband are so kind and hospitable. I loved the authenticity of the cabin, with it's rustic feel and cozy, antique touches. It set the standard very high. Pet-friendly with a separate fenced in backyard. I loved bonding with the horses and walking the land. Absolutely magnificent stay! Thank you for everything! Highly recommend this cabin.

This place was perfect for my girlfriend and I with our 2 dogs. Right near a small town but secluded enough that you can only see trees in all directions. Mark couldn't be a better host. Anything you need, shoot him a text and he's right on it. Our dogs loved playing with his. We definitely took advantage of the grill and the hot tub, and spent hours reading in the sunroom. There's a full grocery store 10 min away and a Walmart 25 min away. Great vacation at an even greater value.

A great getaway! Excellent views. This was my first time using Airbnb. Mark made us feel very comfortable from start to finish. The cabin is equipped with everything you might need.

Our stay at Mark's cabin was wonderful and I couldn't of asked for anything better. You are surrounded by scenic views of the forest, mountains and Pikes Peak. The sun-room gives you a great view of the sunrise/sunset over the mountains and the stars at night. Everything you could need is in the cabin and Mark is quick to respond if you have any needs. All you have to provide is your own food of course :) His two dogs were great company (for we left our two at grandma's) and were the sweetest, most loving dogs we have ever met. The cabin is only a short drive to main attractions (Pikes peak, hiking, Cave of the Winds, Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center and more! Plus restaurants and grocery stores are close by in case you need anything. On our last day we were hit with around 4-6 inches of snow and Mark was kind enough to plow us a way out of his property onto the main road. We couldn't ask for a better host or stay! And we already miss his two dogs! All in all it was a great trip and we hope to come back soon!

Surprised my husband for his 24th birthday by whisking him and 2 friends away for the weekend. The cabin is absolutely gorgeous, with breathtaking views of Pikes Peak and the surrounding mountains. We brought our 1 1/2 year old and our dog along too! Definitely one of our top favorite places we've stayed at! Amazing job, Mark!

Had the best two day stay. We kept busy with walks around the woods and made a campfire at night. The view of the landscape was breathtaking from sunrise to nightfall. Mark made sure there was plenty of firewood for us and we definitely took advantage of that. We were even surprise of the nice food supply in the kitchen with snacks and coffee. The master bath was great for a hot soak before bed. I would stay again!

Just stayed at Mark's place to celebrate my husband's birthday. The house is simply and beautifully decorated and the view is breathtaking. Mark was extremely helpful and hospitable. I highly recommend this house for a getaway in nature.

This place surpassed my expectations. Beautiful cabin, views, & town. It was remote yet close to a little town if you need anything. We really enjoyed the hot tub & sun room, but everything was amazing. the two dogs on the property were definitely a joy to have around, our dog Waffles loved playing with them! We really enjoyed our weekend stay here. The cabin had everything we needed. We appreciated the charming retro decor and feel. Loved the record player! Bed was really comfortable. It was warm on a snowy day. It is quiet and in a forested spot... so beautiful! We saw lots of deer nearby. The location is great for fly fishing. The gold-medal Dream Stream is only a 32 minute drive from the cabin. My husband had a fantastic day on the river! We would definitely book this again!

Wonderful place to experience nature. If you want to see elk, deer and eagles in their natural environment, this is the place to go. It is centrally located to many great fly fishing spots in Colorado. I loved the rustic charm and the feeling of seclusion amongst nature.

The cabin was awesome. I wish there was WiFi but my wife and I had a blast with our fur babies. Our husky couldn't get enough of the snow. Definitely worth the drive from Dallas, TX. Can't wait for our next trip back.

The location is amazing and relatively secluded. The hot tub is wonderful an the cabin small but has most everything you need. The whole place is laid out rather strangely so that you always feel like you are bumping into each other even with just the two of us. My only other complaint was that the other requested me to call her and provide additional details including my credit card information to cover any damage. To me this defeated the whole point of using Airbnb and having everything online. I provided the info because me trip was soon and we had already requested off work but it made me a little uneasy.

Great cabin, for an off the grid feel, while still being within 10 miles of restaurants, gas stations, & grocery stores. We enjoyed the privacy, and the hot tub in the mountains was awesome! Also loved that the cabin is dog friendly, our dogs had a blast. We will definitely come back :)

This was our first time using Airbnb and we had a great experience. The description was exactly what we found when we arrived. Jennifer and Steve were great hosts and gave us our space. We went to the ranch for seclusion and quiet and that is exactly what we got. The kitchen had everything we needed(which is rare at vacation rentals) and the bed was very comfortable. The property and surrounding landscape show off all of what colorado has to offer. We would love to take our kids back with us and let them explore.

The property was absolutely perfect for what my family of 5 had in mind. There is no service or wifi for miles, which allowed us to remain present in the moment and enjoy the quality time together. The placement of the home was beautiful, scenic. We meditated as a family several times throughout our stay in various parts of the home and grounds. The home was impeccably clean, and a throw back to the 80s! We were amused by the new-ish boombox w cassette tape players and the VHS tapes and players. Home and furnishings are quite old - but were clean and new in condition. If you're looking for the experience the entire property has to offer - quiet, scenic, remote - then don't hesitate! Steve was an amazing host and was active on the ranch with the cattle, so you can flag him down if you need anything at all!

If you want an amazing mountain getaway to a beautiful place with wonderful hosts, this is the place for you. The guest home is secluded and situated such that you have the most beautiful views. Watching the sun rise over the gulch with a cup of coffee was spectacular. The guest house had everything we needed for a perfect romantic New Years celebration. And on top of it all, Steve and Jennifer were great!

We had a WONDERFUL TIME at this ranch house. Jennifer and Steve were great hosts. The place was immaculate when we got there and everything we needed was there. The setting was amazing. We loved fishing in the Tarryall creek. I caught my first rainbow trout on a dry fly there. The scenery was beautiful and we hated to leave.....

It's a very special, quiet, incredible place to get away from the city life and enjoy nature. We only wish we could have stayed longer, and definitely hope to go back!

I would recommend more recent pictures as some of the furniture has changed and people would like to see what the bedrooms and bathrooms look like. We stayed at the Puma Hills River Ranch over Christmas for a special family getaway. The place was everything we hoped for--sparkling clean, comfortable, beautiful setting and fully equipped. Steve was very gracious on our arrival, and stopped by just the right amount to make sure everything was going well. The scenery through the picture window was gorgeous, and the property has easy access for a day trip to all Colorado Springs has to offer. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and we recommend Puma Hills River Ranch.

Lovely place to stay in a really neat part of the country. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a nice quiet weekend. Grayson is hospitable and organized. He really knows the area, and can suggest a bunch of fun things to do. Kitchen is well equipped, so I ended up enjoying a home cooked meal. Overall great value for the money.

Grayson was an excellent host. The location of his house is VERY convenient, (as it is just a half-mile off the highway) and his property is gorgeous and definitely gives you the "up in the mountains" kind of feeling. I came to Colorado to fish for a few days and he was very knowledgeable of the area, he offered up a cooler for me to use, and was helpful in every aspect of my stay. The room was just as described in the pictures and both the room and bathroom and the entire house were spotless. I will certainly be back!!

Bill the caretaker showed us the cabin. He's an amiable guy. We were happy to have him around at the cabin down the road. The cabin was nice, clean and was as described. Tyler gave us a page of info that included everything we wanted to know about the cabin. I'd recommend this place: quality Airbnb.

Wonderful cabin in the mountains. No cell phones, no TV, no distractions. There were 3 of us girls. We really enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room and comfortable beds. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and pans. Small oven and stove top made cooking easy. Lovely back porch with 2 grills (propane and charcoal) that we didn't have a chance to take advantage of. Small tv in the downstairs rec room, and though we planned in advance for the possibility of staying in and watching movies, we only got through one of the movies on a lazy night. Well located for south/central day trips to Manitou Springs and surrounding areas. Check out the store with all the carved bears on the south side of 24, best prices we saw. There's gold mining/panning to be had just south of Lake George. And (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) John Bishop's Castle I'd you want a longer day trip. If you need to reconnect there's services about 45 minutes southeast. A small walk to the river or nearby stream (pop down the hill at the cabin's front door and cross the road, you'll find it) . The river outside the gated area was constantly in demand by locals for swimming and fishing. Small hikes everywhere and we were wishing we'd bright the 4 wheelers. Despite having other cabins around we didn't see many of the neighbors. We told the boys if they ever got tired of sleeping on the ground we knew a great place to stay! But our crazy boys like carrying their lives in their backs for a week. We girls know how to mountain in style.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tyler's home. The house is in great condition and very clean. It was spacious as well. We felt very much at home and welcomed. The location is so serene and in a beautiful and scenic part of the state. If you want to get away from the chaos of life, this is the place to be. It was hard getting used to not having phone or internet service, but truly the silence is to be cherished. Following the South Platte River into the property added to the enjoyment of our entire stay.

What a wonderful spot to have a vacation. Family or friends, it's a great place to gather. Tyler was extremely easy to work with and gave very specific instructions on how to get to the cabin. The lack of Internet and tv only enriched our experience at his amazing cabin. I will definitely be going back in the near future.

Pam and her husband made us feel right at home. Upon arrival , they suggested we do some rock hunting on their 40 acres while there was still light out. We found some pretty rocks to take home to our girls. Then we relaxed and watched tv with our hosts in the common living room area. In the morning they served us an awesome full breakfast. We requested an early breakfast as we were going fly fishing that morning. That went well by the way. I highly recommend Scott @ Tumbling Trout. Anyway, this would be a great place to bring our daughters the next time we come to Colorado. Plenty of room to run and play and very accommodating hosts. The view from the living room was spectacular.

What can I say... John's cabin is like something you'd see on a postcard. It was everything you read about in the description, but words and pictures really can't capture how cozy this place is. It had all the comforts of home, but you were miles away from everything, with Pike's Peak right out your back door. John was more than helpful in providing timely details about check in and made sure I made it inside alright. Although I only stayed for one night, I couldn't have asked for much more and was disappointed I had to leave so soon. I would definitely like to stay at this cabin again, regardless of season, as this place has it all.

John was very welcoming and informative! He did all he could to make us feel at home and safe. When we first arrived, we had to park at the end of the driveway for the first two nights due to ice and snow preventing us from driving fully up it. Unfortunately, one of our guests car was broken into while the cars were near the street. Police in the area were very nice and helpful. John was very understanding and helpful as well. Once we were able to get the cars up the driveway and over the hill, it was all fine and dandy. The cabin, itself, was everything we ever could have imagined and more. We stayed at the cabin with 4 people for 5 days and it almost felt too big! The tv had cable and cell phone service wasn't that bad for any of us. There was a fire pit and fun things to do outside. The view outside the window was absolutely incredible, and the drive up to the cabin was just as magical! Being small town Kansan's, it was definitely a trip to remember. This trip might have had some downfalls along the way, but overall it was a blast. I have zero complaints about the cabin or the host, John. I will DEFINITELY be booking this cabin again in the future.

This is my new favorite place to be when I'm not at home. Really, my new favorite place to be, period! Noel is an amazing, very accommodating host who made me feel very welcome in his beautiful cabin. I visited Noel's cabin for a solo trip to the mountains for my birthday, and I couldn't imagine a better place to have been. There is no way that any pictures can capture any justice of the pure beauty of this place. I'm a grown adult male with at least a little pride, and I have no problem in admitting that I wept upon walking in due to the overwhelming beauty and amazing feel of the place. Awesome, historic relics abound in every nook and cranny, both inside and out. This listing is an outdoors person's dream home. My dream cabin will be modeled after my memories of Noel's cabin. Noel is such an awesome host. He left me birthday wishes on a chalkboard in the hallway that I saw right away, as well as a nice bottle of Merlot on the bar. Getting birthday surprises from my Airbnb host is now a very warm memory of mine which I don't think I'll forget, and it speaks greatly to how hospitable Noel is. I absolutely plan to come back to Noel's place as soon as possible, and I'm already beginning to plan a trip with my mother for my next break from the city. The only thing I didn't like about my stay here was that it had to come to an end. A longer stay here is definitely in my plans. I absolutely recommend booking with Noel and booking this cabin! The awe inspiring feel of their cabin and it's surrounding area was nothing short of amazing! As I type this I realize how hard it is for me to accurately express the sheer beauty and sincere wondrous nature that was provided in the overall experience during my stay here, so please know that a stay Noel's cabin is highly recommended if you're looking for some quality R&R, a place for the family to enjoy quality time together, or to simply get away. It was hard to come to terms with having to leave this magnificent cabin that they've built in this little slice of heaven and I'm confident this would be the only concern you'd run into when staying with them. All of the amazing highlights of this place aren't done justice when reviewing their listing page and would surely take up this entire review, but I wanted to point out a few that helped us have a great and memorable stay that we won't soon forget. First and foremost, you will most certainly have your own preferred soundtrack to your entire stay given that Noel and Tess' record collection is phenomenal and fits all tastes! From there you could be sure to enjoy the spectacular views right from the back patio while you see the surrounding nature come to life with all of it's colorful critters as if you were witnessing your own scene from a Disney movie. As the day winds down you can be sure that you'll stay cozy with a warm fire before you fall asleep on one of the most comfortable beds I've had the pleasure of resting in (which was admittedly hard to get out of in the mornings due to the spectacular solid sleep you'd get in it!). Finally, it was amazing to know that Noel and Tess were on hand at all times in case we needed anything at all. However, know that the only thing you'd want to contact them about is to thank them for all of their unprecedented hospitality since they provide you with everything you need to have one of the most relaxing times one could ever imagine when planning a get away! Thank you both so much for the monumental impact you've had on our busy year and know that you've helped create some wonderful memories that we won't soon forget!

This cabin is all about location, location, location- it's nestled in beautiful pike forest with gorgeous mountain views. The owners have made the back porch and outdoor areas so inviting, full of bird feeders, comfy seating and picnic tables. We really enjoyed spending time here, watching the mountains and the hummingbirds. There are also two gorgeous lakes that you can walk too. We greatly appreciated how available the hosts were to answer our questions and give us guidance. Be careful on the driveway though- it was a bit difficult for our poor little sedan.

Noel and his daughter Tess were both great at getting in touch with tips and advice both before and during our stay. Tess even rang us at the cabin when we arrived to check we were settling in OK. And left us a nice bottle of wine which was very welcome! The photos don't do the cabin or its location justice! The cabin is a treasure trove of interesting items and is extremely well-equipped and comfortable. The location is magical, with wildlife everywhere - we loved watching the birds, chipmunks and squirrels from the deck. There is lots of seating outside and a tyre swing to amuse kids of all ages. Would highly recommend staying here and like many of the previous visitors have done already, would love to visit again.

It is lovely and warm house. It really gave us surprise. It's a fish theme house. The landlord spent years to collect more than 50 fish element staffs in this cabin. The facilities are quite good as well! We all like this house. Yesterday we were talking about any place gave us best memories. Most of us said this cabin.

We stayed at Mr. Perran's cabin for almost a week. It was one of the best trips any of us have ever taken! The cabin was neat and had everything you could need to have a great vacation. It was relaxing but also full of adventures. It was in a great location nestled high in the mountains under beautiful trees! The pictures of the cabin doesn't do it justice I could tell it was nice but when your there its breath taking! We had an amazing time and were all sad to leave. I cant thank the Perran family enough for letting me and my family stay! We cant wait to visit again some time!

This place is seriously gorgeous! Very nice secluded property, perfect for a mountain get away. Would highly recommend booking! The floors are heated and you have a great view of the mountains from the porch!

This place was wonderful! Everything exceeded expectations. Grayson was the best host, accommodating many special request and making sure our stay was perfect! He offered lots of knowledge to the area and fun excursions we could take off of the property. He was very familiar with all of the surrounding areas. He provided suggestions for excellent climbing, hiking, and rafting spots if you are wanting an adventure. He also provided us a list of great spots to grab food and drinks, but we really did not eat out much since the kitchen was fully equiped with everything we needed to make delicious meals at home! The best part by far, is the VIEW! The view from this property is amazing!! The house sits on a good bit of land, that we spent lots of time exploring via hikes in the woods. It is also right next to the library and playground, making it perfect if you have small children. The house itself was obviously recently renovated, very clean and had everything you needed. We were only a party of 2 (+ dog) but it could easily hold 6 people comfortably. Book the Hill Top Retreat if you are looking for an amazing getaway with beautiful views!! We cannot wait to visit again!

We had the most amazing stay here!! Super effortless to book, we accidentally booked the wrong days and adjusted it with ease. We have 3 dogs and Grayson was SO gracious and just very easy-going and it was the perfect oasis for the weekend for me and my husband. House was perfectly cleaned and comfortable, felt like home and he was so welcoming when we showed up!! We had a small snafuu with (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps finding the place, but after we got it figured out it and found the place was the best weekend ever!! BEAUTIFUL! The cabin was better than we expected - very clean, well stocked, nice furniture, comfortable bed, and on top of all of that, the area was amazing! We had a blast exploring the rocks and walking through the neighborhood. Woodland Park is a 15 minute drive and has anything you'd need. Lots of areas to explore, or good to just relax!

Twin Rock is amazing! My family of 4 had a blast. All the amenities you could ask for; great kitchen, utensils, linens, beds, laundry, tv and directv. The property is gorgeous, with acres of boulders, trails and caves for exploring. The views are beautiful! Deer in the yard almost daily. The neighborhood is quiet and the house feels very secluded. Only 45 minutes from Colorado Springs, 30 minutes to Pike's Peak and a beautiful 2hr drive to Denver through Decker and the mountains is worth the trip. David and Renee are great! Very attentive and detailed. I highly recommend the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo and Mountain Shadows Restaurant in Colorado Springs while you are here, but don't make too many plans, because Twin Rock Cabin is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the family and scenery.

Cute modern cabin with a cozy rustic feeling. Nestled in the mountains but not to far from town. A perfect Colorado getaway.

One of the best things about this cabin is the silence outside. Its so quiet! The beds were great and the gas stove was great for cooking. The outdoor space was outstanding. The front yard had lots of seating for spending time reading and pondering. The trail throughout the property was great for hiking and was well maintained. Would return again.

Antlers Cabin provided an enjoyable break from a busy world. The cabin was clean, the beds were comfortable, the cabin was well appointed and the scenery was spectacular. We can't say enough good things about our stay.

This cabin was really everything you could ask for in a Colorado getaway without having to "rough it". My wife and I wanted to get out of the city for a while, relax, and cook some good food. There are two bedrooms with their own private bathrooms. We invited some friends to stay with us and it was very comfortable. The master bath is quite spacious, and the master bedroom has a sizable walk-in closet. I would point out that the sofa is also a pull out. This is a true log cabin with every modern comfort and amenity you could ask for: Wi-fi, satellite TV, covered parking, a decent stereo (with an aux cable for your phone in the TV stand drawer), a dishwasher, a washer for clothes, and a dryer. In addition, there is a wood burning stove with a copious amount of pre-splitted wood you are welcome to use in the cabin. There is also a fire pit that seats 8 or more in comfy wood chairs up on a hilltop where that comes in handy. There was a charcoal rather than a gas grill in the pic, but it worked just fine when we cooked some steaks. The grounds: You're not just getting a cabin, but access to 35 acres of land including a pond, a small trail, and a small mountain of your own. The view here is spectacular. The view from the cabin is good, but when you climb up a little deeper past the cabin, it opens up to a hilltop with a view of the west side of Pike's Peak and the Collegiate peaks in the other direction. This is a great place for quiet contemplation. I walked a labyrinth in that area that was created with stones and found it spiritual and refreshing. You will find wildlife on the property including chipmunks, numerous birds of various species, and of course, the deer. The deer are very tame and friendly. You are likely to have some close encounters. I had a couple of chipmunks chasing each other around the yard while I was reading a book on one of the red chairs on the porch. They chased each other between my feet! My group enjoyed time around the dinner table playing board games and catching up with each other. The dinner table is a solid wood antique that really is a nice touch. There was an array of spices for use for our cooking, a nice collection of cookware that filled all our needs, and a dishwasher! Wash the dishes by hand if you need a more rustic experience; but having all these modern conveniences really helped us relax and just focus on having a good time in the Great Outdoors. This place really fills all of your dreams when you think of a Colorado vacation. We're from Colorado Springs, but this would be a fine base for anything you wanted to do in the Pike's Peak area.

This is a sweet, beautiful cabin at the end of a long gorgeous drive. It's secluded and cozy, without being isolated. My kids really loved the playground right next to the cabin, with the seesaw being their favorite. We went in late December, and the snow capped trees and mountain views were stunning. We saw lots of rabbits and elk deer, which was fun. We miss it! Truly wonderful place to stay! Very relaxing. Nice walking trails too!

This cabin was exactly what we hoped it'd be for my wife and me and two little ones to get away to relax. There is a vista of Pike's Peak in the distance. There are more trails than we had time to hike. Our 4-year old loved the playground right next to the cabin. It seems to have every modern convenience, tucked away among the aspens. There is another cabin not too far away, but our seclusion and quiet was undisturbed.

Sharon and Mark were so welcoming. We felt like family by the time we left.

Sharon and Mark are excellent hosts. The house is very clean, comfortable and meticulously maintained. Guest quarters take up an entire lower level and consist of a large living room, full bathroom and nicely appointed bedroom. There is an outdoor jacuzzi overlooking the woods which we unfortunately did not have time to enjoy. After a good night sleep, we were offered coffee and small breakfast in the morning. A fantastic overall experience. Highly recommended.

Our stay was exactly as advertised and exactly what we were looking for! The outdoor hot tub was especially enjoyable!

This is such a beautiful home with amazing people! Very accomodating and friendly. The place was comfortable and had a lot of privacy. Would definitely stay here again :)

Even before we arrived, Sharon texted me & made sure that if I needed anything, or questions, she wanted to make our stay as nice as possible. They provided reviews & comments of area restaurants, hiking trails, & things to do. Neighbors? You can't see them through the beautiful trees. We did get a visit from a deer that came up to our window. Nice sunny lower level, with a view of mountains out the window.

What a beautiful place to spend a night. Wish I would have had more time to explore. Sharon was such a treat to spend time with...and my stay was perfect! Truly a mountain retreat and the privacy of having an entire floor to myself was amazing. It is so evident that Sharon does everything possible to ensure a fabulous, comfortable and peaceful stay. Even with the hot tub! A deep restful quiet sleep...incredible shower...and ease of coming and going. So appreciated the hospitality...and willingness of Sharon to be the kind of host that is truly interested in what their guest would like. It was awesome. Will be back for sure! :)

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Sharon's home in Divide. She was a very friendly host. She gave us many suggestions on what to do for the rest of our trip in the West. The location was great. The hot tub was very relaxing. We saw 5 or 6 deer during our stay. Great place.
