Our family had an excellent time staying at this house. We were able to have fun in the lake every day, enjoyed the occasional outdoor campfire, and had plenty of room inside to play our card and board games. I personally loved the 2nd floor kitchen and the surrounding open space on the remainder of that floor. There was either a bedroom or a personal space for every one of our 5 "sub families." All the boating toys were excellent! I loved the rowboat in particular. All told, this has been one of our best vacation spots yet.

Great Place in a great area!

We had a fantastic stay at Laura's home. The house was even more spacious than what was described; it was a great location for a family gathering. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Amazing place....lots of open space and rooms. The cottage is on a Great Lake with lots of water sports to pick from!! I Definitely recommend the cottage to anyone looking to stay in the area.

We had a wonderful time during our stay at the cabin, it's a super cute and cozy place to stay. Steve and Kelli are wonderful hosts and even had fresh baked cookies waiting for us when we arrived. We will definitely book with them again next year for our stay.

We were welcomed with a plate of home baked cookies, always appreciated! The cottage was clean, cozy and cheery. We especially appreciated the air conditioning which allowed us to sleep well and more fully enjoy our annual family reunion. Had a great time in this cozy cabin. The location was in a quaint little cottage neighborhood. We were able to walk across the road and view the lake. There are several little lakes in the area. If you are looking for rest and relaxation, this is the place for you. We went to Antlers Bar and Grill for dinner which was maybe 5 minutes away. There is also a cute clothing boutique across from the restaurant.

We loved our night at this cozy lake cottage! It was cute, clean, and quite. It was the perfect getaway for me and my friends. We appreciated the note from Steve and Kelli, in addition to a bottle of wine. I would definitely (& probably will at some point) stay here again!

Thank you for such a delightful getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life! The cottage was adorable and perfect for my family. Everything we needed for a great escape. My girls loved kayaking, fishing, swimming and stargazing at the lake. The cottage was clean and comfortable and well stocked for a rainy day with TV, wifi and games! We look forward to next year!

Great little cabin get away!

Scott was very helpful in providing information and making sure we enjoyed our stay. The listing is accurate and once at the house everything is very well labeled and easy to find. Everything was clean and ready for us when we arrived. We had a great stay and the deck and back yard are amazing.

we loved our stay here! It was very clean and came with plenty of towels, bedding and cooking utensils. Unfortunately, we couldn't swim on Round Lake (where the cottage is), but we drove 5 min over to Blue Lake and inner tubed our way to Party Island. We had a nice dinner at a nearby restaurant. In all, it was very nice.

Scott made us feel very welcome and was very accommodating. Unfortunately we weren't there for pleasure (we stayed 1 night due to a funeral) so were not able to take advantage of the lake and other amenities the house has to offer. Scott was quick to respond to any questions we had and wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. He even let us check out late since no one else was coming in that day. We would love to go back when we can enjoy all the house has to offer and stay longer. Thanks for everything Scott!

Scott was at the house to greet me and my group, and was finishing up some things (putting towels on the bed, mowing the lawn, etc). He was very friendly and even made a trip back to the house to help me open the shed that had a cornhole game and extra propane. The description and pictures were exactly as described. The house was very nice and you were a great host Scott!

The location is excellent. We really enjoyed being on the main lake, roasting marshmallows on the incredible firepit, and the spacious home provided alot of space for our 7 guests. We rented a pontoon boat and it was delivered right to the dock out in front of the house. Would definitely stay here again

Staying on the Canadian Lakes was exactly the refreshing getaway our family needed. The openness of the house, the view of the lake, the yard to play in, the large table for eating, the great open kitchen for cooking, and the multiple spaces for living/playing made this an ideal location for our family of five. Elaine was a great host! She sent us detailed information prior to our arrival, including the fact that the address was not correct within the Airbnb listing. The house was clean, comfortably furnished, and had everything we needed with the exception of Wi-Fi. We enjoyed our stay, whose purpose was to play in a golf tournament at nearby Tullymore.

Canadian Lakes was beautiful! Elaine's place is the best, very clean, cozy, well equipped, and has a beautiful view of the Lake! Even though the lake was covered with snow during our stay, it was absolutely beautiful! Can't wait to come back in the summertime.

Holly and Andrew were fabulous. The Breakfast every morning was delicious. Holly was very accommodating with our late rising due to our time change. The room was comfortable and clean and quiet. We were surprised by the stocked mini fridge with snacks and drinks. The view of the lake was beautiful.

Our stay at Canadian Lakes was fantastic! Pictures don't do the actual space justice. Holly was an amazing host! She is very friendly and made us feel right at home and then gave us our space after we settled in while also being available if we needed anything... and made the best French Toast and sausage for us for breakfast, she had an array of snacks laid out for us when we arrived, and there were more snacks and drinks provided for us in our room. It was really nice to have a family room type area in addition to the bedroom since it was me and my 16 year old son. He enjoyed the television and workout equipment while I enjoyed the peace and quiet by the fire pit right there on the lake. I highly recommend that you stay with them if you're in the area. If my son ends up going to Ferris State, I have a feeling this may become my home away from home.

We only stayed one night because my husband & I were running a marathon in a nearby town. Our accommodations were nothing but spectacular! Holly was such a gracious & kind host. She let me check in a few hours early so we could relax before the race. In the evening she made us an unexpected snack plate

I can't say enough about how impressed I was with my stay at Holly's AirBNB. I was simply looking for a place to sleep for a few hours between leaving a wedding reception and getting up very early the next morning, but after my short stay I wish I would have checked in days earlier. Not only was she extremely accommodating and nice, but the entire AirBNB was beautiful and had so many amenities available that you would need a few days just to try them all! To start - the AirBNB was the entire basement area of the house. There was a gorgeous bedroom with a huge bathroom attached, convenient living room with a sun room attached, and the best part of all - the lake, which was accessible by merely walking out the doors of the downstairs living room. As soon as we got there, she gave us a tour of our part of the house - along with a binder of everything that was available to us while staying at the house, the most compelling one to me being the paddle boats that were available to take out on the lake! (and that doesn't even include the countless other amenities that were made available to us by use of the guest passes that were left in our room for the neighborhood clubhouse) She had a fully stocked mini-fridge in the room with drinks and snacks, and even a complimentary, homemade breakfast menu that she offered to prepare at anytime you were ready for breakfast. (Which, by the way, was delicious - we chose the breakfast quiche) The rooms were a great size, and the bathroom had a spa-like feel. There were a number of toiletries available in the room in case you forgot anything, as well as a coffee station, ping-pong table, and even a treadmill located in the living room/sun room area. When I left I was definitely kicking myself for not realizing how amazing of a place I had booked and I immediately told Holly that I wanted to return someday so that I could take better advantage of her amazing place and everything it has to offer. The only change I would have made was on my own part - after only staying at AirBNB's that were hosted by college kids, it didn't occur to me that some places could be potentially be TOO nice for 20-somethings to go after a night of drinking. Holly didn't complain but I hope my friend who wanted to stay up to all hours of the night watching TV and being loud in general wasn't too much of a nuisance for anyone else in the house, because I know I had to get up and tell her to be quiet a few times, whoops! Thanks again Holly for such an amazing place to stay! I would recommend your place to anyone and with the highest of reviews. I would love to come back sometime for a more relaxing...

Because I was doing a charity cycle I did not have a car. She courteously picked me up and dropped me off at the cycle meet point. She and her husband brought me out for dinner. They were tremendously hospitable and welcoming. The house was warm yet spotless overlooking a lake. I had the use of a boat if I wanted it. I not only had a beautiful on suite bedroom but also a private sitting room with tv and exercise equipment. It was a beautiful experience and I would recommend it for a weekend getaway! Beautiful!

Holly was incredibly sweet and welcoming. I had so much space and use of the entire basement. She supplied snacks and beverages and most importantly a welcoming environment. Lovely place and neighborhood.

The lake cottage was an awesome place to visit. Terra called right after we got in to make sure everything was ok and to offer her assistance with anything we might need. The house has everything you need to enjoy a great week/weekend on the water. The paddle boat and canoe came in handy when we wanted to go over to an island on the lake to do some swimming. Also, there were some good places to dine within a 20 minute drive of the cottage. I will definitely be staying here again!

We had a fantastic, private getaway on Lake Jehnsen. Matt and Terra were incredibly friendly and they were there to greet us upon arrival. They even took us out around the lake on their boat on the first night. This made us feel much more comfortable navigating the lake on our own the next day on the pedal boat that they let us use. They also provided a canoe and several other lake activities for us. The cottage is right on the lake and the views are wonderful. It was a beautiful sunny day and the lake was not busy, making it a uniquely private experience. Thanks so much for the hospitality Terra and Matt!

The cottage is cute, and a very good value for the price per night. The host was responsive and answered all of our questions right away. The cottage comes well-equipped with a paddle boat, kayaks, fishing poles, life jackets, and a grill. You will need to stock up on paper products and groceries before you head up there though, as the closest store is quite a drive. Overall, we are really happy with our stay and had a very relaxing break there.

Terra's husband, Matt, met us as we arrived. Really out of the way and quiet. Was as described. Fairly clean and had everything we needed. Was quite windy as Terra said it could be. Could not get the heat to work and it was only in the 50s so we had a nice fire in the fireplace most of the time we were there and stayed toasty. Didn't get out on the lake but that's okay. It was cold, rainy and choppy out there anyway. Brought board games in case but Terra already had a dresser with cards and games for those who didn't remember to bring rainy day activities. Really beautiful setting and maybe only three neighbors at that point in early June. Comfy platform bed if you like firm matresses as we do. Brought a media player with movies galore as there's no wifi or TV. This would be a good middle of summer place to stay. Beware of water heater's size and get your shampoo in and rinsed quickly. Oh, and if you use the fireplace, prop the flue open with the poker as they left it. May want to bring ant spray as I guess it's the time for big black ants. Lot of cleaning supplies so we could leave the premises as we found it. Thanks for the peaceful time, Terra and Matt.

The lake cottage was super relaxing and the scenery was beautiful, including sunsets from the dock. There were many options on what to do-- go out on the water, make a campfire, grill out on the deck... A perfect getaway!

The Lake Cottage was perfect! Terra was extremely helpful in getting us all the information we needed. The house is in a beautiful location on a wonderful All Sports lake. The greatest part, besides the wonderful view, was all the "extras" that Terra supplies. We had kayak's, fishing gear, paddle boat, etc., so it was like being in a resort. Great accommodations. We also went on a 3 hour canoe trip one of our days and had a great time. Terra was helpful in letting us know what is available in the area. We would love to stay there again.

Very nice cottage. Has everything it needs and the owners are friendly and very helpful ! The lake is very nice also and we really enjoyed that the owners provide canoes, a paddle wheeler, fishing poles, life jackets, etc. It's the perfect little house for a few days by the lake ! This lakeside retreat was peaceful, quiet and cozy. Nothing fancy but everything we needed. No A/C but fans in each bedroom provided adequate ventilation. The picture windows made for lovely views of the lake and trees. Nice shady deck for comfortable meals outdoors. Our daughter loved feeding the fish at the dock and we enjoyed the fire pit as well as taking the paddle boat out for a tour on the water. Beach towels and toiletries were a great touch not to mention access to the boat house goodies (life vests, inflatables, fishing gear, etc). The beds & couches were comfy and I liked the decor as well as the dresser stocked with board games. Overall a pleasant stay (minus the bugs!)
