A fantastic place with great nature by the famous river Gudenå. Dreamfishing for trout and salmon. Danish "hygge" in sqare! Strongly recommended! We will be back!

What a beautiful place and what lovely people!!! We chose this lovely cottage as a base for our travels in mid to northern Jutland, and are so glad we did. The cottage was comfortable, spotlessly clean, beautifully presented, well equipped and generously stocked with kitchen supplies. It is in a lovely neighbourhood, with a garden and walking tracks beside the river. Hanne and Peter were delightful, friendly, helpful, but also respected our privacy. A great place to stay.

Hanne & Peter are great hosts. They prepared the place perfectly! There is everything what you can imagine and it's great organised! We received even fresh egss, grapes and other basic products in case we need them. Thanks you Hanne and Pete for your hospitality. It is the best place where we have been from AirBnb. Best regards.

Vi kan helt sikkert anbefalde denne bolig. Det levede fuldstændigt op til forventningerne. Værterne Hanne og Peter er venlige og meget gæstfri. Boligen manglede absolut intet! Mette's place is a joy to stay in. The house has a calm, quiet and earthy feel and Mette creates a lovely atmosphere. I felt instantly at home when I arrived. I would warmly recommend staying there to anyone who needs a rest, a retreat or a home base for adventuring and exploring the beautiful area. Langå is a hidden jem in Jutland.

Very nice location in nature in small town. Everything's green. Very friendly hosts. Two decent bedrooms and a functional bathroom. No luxury, lots of nature. I'd hapilly visit again.

if 'slow travel' appeals to you, if you like the idea of coming home to a place where it's quiet and peaceful and where there is absolutely nothing to do except read or smell the air or listen to blackbirds, this is the place for you. The flat includes two very private bedrooms, a bath, and a kitchenette with basic hotplate, toaster oven, fridge, and a very nice Krups coffee maker...just right for us. We loved walking around town--there is a nice path along the lake--and it was a great base for day trips throughout central Jutland. Mette and Martin were perfect hosts and we enjoyed meeting them. Maybe my favorite thing after the coffee maker was the heated floor in the bathroom--really luxurious! If I come again I will stay longer next time.

What a wonderful place, the Funky Forest is really a great place to stay. Mette is a perfect host and the house is lovely. It is very peaceful in the forest, and there are lots of things to do and see in the area. I had a great time here and would definitely recommend it to anyone!

Vi ankom efter mørkets frembrud og havde udsat vores ankomst 2 gange, uden at det voldte vores vært nogle problemer. Da vi ankom blev vi taget venligt imod, vist rundt og fik nøgle. Vi aftalte lidt detaljer om udtjekning. Super fin bolig som jeg bestemt vil anbefalde. Området (skov og sø) er meget skønt og de mennesker vi mødte var både venlige og imødekommende. Min famile og jeg vil gerne anbefalde denne bolig til andre rejsene.

Impresionante lugar! Vas a relajarte de todo y cerrar los ojos en el bosque. La casa es muy grande y comoda, y los anfitriones son personas muy sociables y amables. El bosque que rodea la casa es muy lindo para recorrer y posee un lago con lindas vistas de la ciudad. Super recomendado.

Very good comunication. Louise even put some food for us in the fridge. The house is very clean and has all the facilities needed for cooking and a huge living room. The garden is fantastic. All over a good atmosphere in the whole house. The house is located 1,5 hours south from Hirtshals, and 1,5 hours north from Legoland. So this makes it perfect for a stop on the way to legoland. I would even recomend staying some nights at this nice house just to relax with family. Tnx.

We had a lovely stay! It's a like a modern motel room, park in front had a nice bed and bathroom. No kitchen and have to pay for coffee or tea, but it's modern, private, clean and perfect for a good night of sleep.

Jørgen was great. The room were just like in the picture. The bed was very comfortable and the neighbourhood very quite. Communication with Jørgen was very easy :-). I would recommend it without any doubts.

Staying at Ann and Jørgen's place was absolutely lovely. Spotlessly clean, nice and comfortable. Our hosts was very friendly and helpful. We would absolutely visit again.

Ann and Jorgen are lovely hosts, we had an amazing time in their Airbnb! Beautifully designed, clean and spacious, with all the nessecities we needed and much more. With picturseque nature around, we enjoyed walking in the forest, visiting animals, drinking a good cup of coffee in the morning and high quality wine in the evening. No doubt, we felt at home!

The room was no less than perfect. Brand new, cosy and properly clean. The place was very nice, appeared to me as an estate, huge inner courtyard surrounded by beautiful traditional danish buildings. We didnt have time to explore the area but there should be plenty of opportunities to go for walks or meet the animals on the farm. We met the landlady who greeted us and showed us where to stay. Very friendly. We can only recommend this place.

Vi fik en dejlig velkomst af Janette med en lille rundvisning i huset. Det var et lille fint hus som indeholdt de ting vi havde brug for- også vaskemaskine og strygebræt. vi sov dejligt i senge og sovesofa og der var lyst og rent. Vores værter var meget imødekommende og venlige. Vi faldt godt i snak med dem, på trods af at vi ikke var meget i huset. De tilbød os at låne grillstarter og fandt kul til os, selvom vi ankom omkring kl. 18.00 fredag aften. Sikken service

Vi blev modtaget med åbne arme, og følte os velkommen gennem hele forløbet. Vi (2 voksne og 2 børn) havde fire overnatninger og stedet er centralt placeret til Randers Regnskov, Graceland Randers, Djurs Sommerland osv. Den dejlige store stue med pejs var simpelthen så hyggeligt. Kan kun anbefale dette sted.

Jean's apartment was a great place to stay. The location made it very convenient to get to from the train station.

Uncomplicated and nice stay :-)

The apartment was bright and really roomy which was nice. It was clean except the washing machine was moldy and there were bowls of vinegar everywhere. We had some trouble finding it as the street entrance is locked and you have to go around the side instead, later in the evening the gate to get to that door was also locked so we had to walk around the block to find another way in. We couldnt get hold of Joan when we needed her. We found internet outside the library which is about 5 minutes away as the apartment doesnt have it. Also the TV didnt work. Its in a bar/pub area of the pedestrian zone so it was very noisy at night.

The listing description was accurate. It was easy to reach the house from the train station. The host did not speak English so that was a bit of constraint. But otherwise she was very warm and friendly.

Super flot lejlighed, super faciliteter med flot køkken og bad. Der var god plads til os alle 6 og kommunikationen med værten var upåklagelig. Godt at værten havde skrevet at der kunne være støj fra gaden om aftenen - vi sov godt. Ville helt klart bruge lejligheden igen.

Lovely place

Meike and her boyfriend Bjørn were both very friendly and helpful. The apartment is in the basement of the building, but bright, clean and practical. The beds were comfortable. The surroundings are superb, especially if you appreciate the quiet countryside. Excellent for walks, bike trips, fishing, bird watching or just relaxing. Highly recommended, wouldn't hesitate another visit if in the area!

Supersøde værter i fantastiske omgivelser! Overvejer stærkt at vende tilbage

Meike und Björn waren nette Gastgeber. Sowohl die Emails von Meike als auch die Begrüßung durch Björn waren sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Aufgrund unserer vielen Termine im nahen Randers haben wir die Wohnung fast nur zum schlafen genutzt. Wir können uns hier aber auch einen längeren Aufenthalt an diesem schönen Ort vorstellen. Sollten wir wieder einmal in diese Gegend kommen freuen wir uns schon darauf wieder zu Gast bei Meike und Björn sein zu dürfen.

I try otherwise to be as positive as possible in my reviews here ... but first I have to make an exception: I may have to start with the good: The apartment is really well located in central Randers in super short distance to everything. The hosts were nice, helpful and quickly came to assistance when I needed help. The kitchen includes refrigerator, large freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle and everything desirable cookware. Everything in the bathroom also works as it should. Booking and communication with the hosts was easy. It was shown the positive. When the occasion called for a "view suite" / "cozy hotel apartment" / "clean, bright and friendly," and when one weekday off-season pay 1376 crowns for two nights / 1 person, I expect that there is at least talk a nice place to sleep. It was unfortunately not the case. The first impression was a pervasive smell of smoke, old dirt and stuffiness. When the French balcony door in the living room was not open, it was hard to get aired out. One of the hosts came to the rescue, but also could not open the door because. The former (heavy smokers) tenants treatment, a family that had lived there for three weeks and treated apartment quite rough, so it now appears rather battered with just scratched walls - and all this pervasive stench of smoke that stuck in all the furniture and textiles. The landlady kindly donated a bottle of vinegar and an air cleaner spray, but even after two days of thorough airing six vinegar bowls distributed throughout the apartment and a emptied AIRWICK, smelled still ugly when I checked out this morning. I know that smokers might find this hysterical, but as non-smoking and allergy sufferer, I think simply it is disgusting to dry in the smoke-smelling towels for the bath and then put in a likewise røglugtende bed - and the next morning don his otherwise clean clothes, which now smells of smoke ... When you then add to this that in the description promised "incl. Hair and body shampoo" had become conditioner and body shampoo (it went though fine to wash hair in bodyshampooen ...) and that the promised "coffee and tee stands ready in the kitchen "and the note with" coffee, tea and mini milk for free "only consisted of coffee (here came the landlady, however - after my desire - also with tea), I have for the first time in my airbnb time felt that this visit was in no way worth the money. I fully understand that the hosts are without blame for the past (long-term) tenants have ravaged the apartment and it was obvious that they had recently made the apartment clean - but it does not change the overall impression was quite disgusting. And we must all change in the description of the apartment - and put down the price so that it corresponds to the "product" you buy.

Lovely place to stay. New pedestrian area. Bars around the corner. but in room it is quiet. Any time again with pleasure.

Once again a great visit to Green views - and the views are amazing! Denmark's largest river runs right in front of the window ... and the view is not much better.
