  • KJ and Emily's place was so beautiful! Excellent hosts! Great location, private, spacious, clean, and fun! The sound system was AMAZING! the hue lighting was so lovely. The hot tub is something we didn't get around to using this time around but we'll definitely be back again soon!! Thank you so much for everything!

    Natalie2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Xavier Acres was an incredible place! KJ and Emily were great hosts, easily accessible, and answered any questions we had. The sound system in the house was awesome, and the hiking was out of this world. The hot tub with a view was a great way to relax!

    Zach2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • I do not have enough words to express how wonderful our experience at KJ & Emily’s home was. The house is unbelievable, plenty of room for my group of 18. They have great amenities that they encourage you to use (including an amazing set of musical instruments that we did live karaoke with!) an incredible kitchen with plenty of supplies and tools, and a smart house-esque setup that allows you to control lights and music from your phone (we couldn’t get enough of the Hue lighting system!) we got a ton of use out of the hot tub that overlooks a beautiful Mountain View and the BBQ (even in the winter!). But what really sets our stay apart is the kindness of our hosts. Kj and Emily met me and my fiends to do a walkthrough of the home to make sure we knew how to work everything. KJ was my point of contact throughout the weekend and he was so quick to answer any of my questions which really put us at ease. If you’re hesitating to book this house, I’m here to tell you to do it! You will not regret it! Thanks KJ and Emily!! We hope to come back this summer!!

  • Beautiful home, nestled in the mountains, and the view does not disappoint! Great for a group over a long weekend, with the hot tub, fire places, and sound system being huge bonus points. We were there for our wedding weekend, and it was great to have such a welcoming space for our family to unwind after all the festivities.

    Joe2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • This house is awesome! Comfortably slept the 16 of us, and the hot tub/deck views are unreal. Highly recommend for large groups in the Hudson Valley!

    Glen2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • My friends and I had an absolutely amazing time at KJ and Emily’s! The pictures posted simply do not to the property justice. The view is breathtakingly beautiful and the surrounding area is peaceful and perfect for a weekend getaway with family or friends. Communication with KJ was so easy and he greeted me and my friends with such kindness and excitement for us. KJ and Emily really care about their guests having a wonderful experience and that is what separates them from any other AirBNB experience I have had in the past. My friends and I are already talking about booking again next summer!

The mid-century interior has original plank floors, a period brick fireplace and vintage treasures throughout. It's a great place to unwind in after a long day exploring the Hudson Valley or enjoy a meal with guests. The City of Newburgh is an artsy, architecturally important, historic town that is currently in the midst of an urban revitalization. Please read more about the description of the neighborhood below.
Your Hudson Valley hideout is a perfect blend of old and new. With original 6” wood plank floors, period brick fireplace and vintage treasures throughout, it's a mid-century modern retreat for design lovers, in a town full of historic charm. Wake up the right way with a fix from our coffee bar – including fresh coffee - after a great night’s sleep in the bedrooms (a master with en suite and Queen bed; the other two with double and single beds and backyard views). The bedrooms feature a cool monochrome palette, the master bath is awash in luxe all-white tiles, while the sleek chef’s kitchen has a grey backsplash, breakfast bar and aged wood dining table (seating 6) - all flooded with natural light. Will it be a history tour or wine-tasting today? Gallery-hopping or hiking? Your choice. When it’s time to get cozy, there are retro games, free wi-fi and Netflix waiting for you. Sink into the couch in front of the fireplace (it's non-functional, but big candles add all the flickering light needed for a romantic night) and enjoy our home's laid-back designer style. This home made us fall in love with the Hudson Valley – we know it’ll do the same for our guests.
The home is located on a generally quiet street but keep in mind that while driving in and around town you will see a city in transition with some houses newly renovated, others in transition or in rough condition. Depending on guest expectations, generally they do and should feel safe in the home and surrounding area. If you have any questions regarding the changing neighborhood, don't hesitate to ask. Please read carefully as we do not accept cancellation after arrival.
  • A great space for friends and family. Loved the design and small touches. Comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, enough space for everyone. Will definitely stay here again next time we're in the area.

The decor is spectacular, there was nothing we needed or wanted, except more days to wake up to a gorgeous sunrise, and gaze out the windows from every angle. Thank you David for creating such a beautiful space to reset and recharge. We cannot wait to come back!!! Xx

  • The Borland House was so comfy and cute! We absolutely loved our stay there and my fiancé and I agree it is one of our favorite places we’ve stayed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, everything was sparkling clean and brunch the next morning in the downstairs restaurant was out of this world. We were in town to visit Angry Orchard and the Airbnb was located perfectly just ten minutes away. The only thing we didn’t care for was the bathroom located outside of the bedroom but we were left robes in our room and it proved not to be a big deal.

    Lizzy2019-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay in this part of the Hudson Valley! Would have liked to have spent another night here - the bed was very comfortable.

She was so helpful with questions about the area, and immediately available if we needed anything. I can't imagine that we would ever stay anywhere else when we come back through Montgomery.

  • We enjoyed the place very much. The house was stocked with coffee and other nice additions. Two bedrooms was just right for our family of four. We sat outside in a nice deck and enjoyed touring the town. Communication with Lambrini was easy and smooth.

    David2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great experience at Bri's place - it's conveniently located near the Patterson, Wallkill and Warwick facilities and Bri is a great host! Her cottage is in the quiet, quaint little town of Montgomery. We had no issues whatsoever with noise (I'm a light sleeper) and we were right down the block from some great restaurants (how convenient is that?). Thanks Bri! We hope we can come back soon and will be recommending your cottage to friends and family who are up there visiting!

    Glen2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy place and a great host.

    Mallory2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great place. Mrs. Lambrini will make sure that you are well taken care of and familiarized with the location and place itself. The space was well kept and was clean. It felt very homey and worked very well for my needs. Its near a lot of great local restaurants. I would definitely book this space again.

    Charles2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • This was the perfect spot for a quick weekend getaway out of the city. I stayed here with my two pups and all three of us enjoyed the stay! Bri was extremely hospitable and made sure that we felt welcomed. I really enjoyed the thoughtful touches, like the fruit and water she got for us. I hope to visit again soon!

  • We had a great stay! The space is very comfortable, cozy and nicely fits our family of 4. Arrival was super smooth, and the space included everything that we needed to make basic meals (bring your own Tupperware, foil, etc if you need to get deeper in to cooking/storage). In addition to great accommodations, we felt very safe here. We are lucky to be well acquainted with navigating RV accommodations, however George and Kelly were available immediately any time we had a question. We come to town regularly for military reserve duty, and plan on booking stays here any time we can. Thank you again!

Wake up to views of the Hudson River, and then have coffee on the balcony while enjoying the view. Take a stroll by the river, or head to Jones Farm - where you can see the free roaming chickens while eating brunch and picking up a pie or fresh apple cider donuts. A perfect home base for exploring the Hudson Valley. Take in the arts at Dia Beacon and Storm King art center. Go kayaking to Bannerman Island. Or if you want some retail therapy, check out the world famous Woodbury Common outlets.
This is a private apartment with its own entrance, in a two family house.
We are very close to the Hudson River. There are many fine restaurants in the area some have beautiful views of the Hudson and the rolling hills . We are fortunate because many of our restaurants are staffed by chefs that are culinary institute graduates ,the CIA is located not far from here. You will be able to walk the Newburgh Beacon bridge from the house or take a lovely jog down the road.
  • This spot is so relaxing and beautiful! The space was clean and big and the location is very serene. I highly recommend!

Sylvester was quick to respond to any issues we had and we were thankful for the sweet treats left upon our arrival. Newburgh is very serene and the room offers an amazing view of the Hudson River. I will definitely come back and stay here the next time I visit!

  • This house is beautiful and full of special touches from the hosts. Definitely stay here if you’re looking for a place in the pine bush area!

    Lacy2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Elizabeth’s place was stellar. I have never had a more pleasant Airbnb stay. I felt like I was at home away from home! The house was sparkling clean, tastefully decorated, and actually extremely spacious for our party of five. This enabled us to really relax and enjoy our weekend as a family rather than feeling like we had to escape a hotel room every day in order to get some quality time together. The house had many nice amenities that we weren’t expecting including fresh bagels and snacks. Elizabeth was very professional, accommodating and quick to communicate in answer to any questions we had. Check-in was simple and easy. We really loved our stay here and hope to return.

    Alaina2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Very spacious and clean. The gas fireplace was great to have with the February weather. Elizabeth was very responsive and gave nice tips for dining within walking distance.

    Kevin2020-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • Came to spend the weekend with some friends and it was a perfect place! There were many extra things to accommodate a variety of groups. The house was spacious & clean. I will definitely stay here again if i’m ever in the area again.

    Riley2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely place to stay would 100% recommend. Easy to check in and so clean and cosy. Loved it!

    Hannah2020-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • So far the best Airbnb. We were six friends with three little children. Liz was so sweet that she has prepared baby bath tub and pack play for our kids. They also provided us with breakfast and snacks. The house is well organized and beautiful. She was very responsive when we needed something. Will definitely come back when we visit there.

    Chime2020-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • This was (hands down) the best Airbnb we have ever stayed. Elizabeth’s home is beautiful. The house was spotless and perfectly organized. Elizabeth added several personal touches to make our stay extra special and also recommended some local places to eat :) This was just what my girlfriends and I needed when we planned this trip. I will absolutely look to book here in the future when we visit Angry Orchard again!! 💜

Stylishly renovated 1890 Rowhouse in Newburgh's up-and-coming Washington Heights District. Enjoy your morning coffee with views of the Hudson River and Mountains. Just 75 minutes from NYC, this home is a short drive to the Newburgh Waterfront and Liberty Street's hip new shops and restaurants such as Ms. Fairfax, The Flour Shop, Liberty Street Bistro, Mama Roux, The Newburgh Brewery, and more. Close proximity to the Beacon Ferry and a short drive to the Beacon train station.
The space is a cozy 2nd floor apartment with views of the Hudson River and surrounding mountains. This 19th century Rowhouse boasts many original details such as original restored wide plank floors, yet updated with modern charm. The street is quiet with Hudson River and Mountain Views and is just a short drive away from many tourists attractions such as Beacon, DIA Beacon, area hiking trails, kayaking, West Point (22 minutes), Storm King Art Center, Woodbury Common Outlets, and more. Newburgh is a beautiful, historic city that is in the midst of a Renaissance. Please read more about the area in the neighborhood section below.
Newburgh is experiencing a Renaissance after many years of economic decline. The architectural details are gorgeous and the area is filled with history, as seen by George Washington’s Headquarters just down the street! There are new hip shops and restaurants in the immediate area with more coming in the next couple of years. While driving around town, it is noticeable that there are store fronts, buildings and homes undergoing renovation on nearly every block. Our renovated home is situated on a quiet street with families living in the surrounding homes. They are very nice and keep to themselves. There is a large mix of homes in the area that are renovated, homes undergoing renovations and houses that are still in quite rough condition that you will notice driving into town. Homes that are in rough condition could be alarming to some. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out! We will not accept cancellations upon arrival.

  • Such a cute apartment in close proximity to Beacon. Beautiful bathroom, bright and large kitchen with a cute living room space. Each bedroom had sound machines - a nice touch to block out any outside noise.

    Alicia2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice apartment with a beautiful view on Hudson River. The apartment was very clean, very comfortable and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. We could reach them 24/7 as we needed some support. That was awesome.

  • My family bad I loved the space so much! Clean, beautiful, and amazing space! Definitely will want a car if staying here in the winter as it would be quite a walk to the ferry to beacon or downtown but can imagine the summer being amazing! So many thoughtful touches and the beds were so comfortable!

    Meaghan2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely, clean, safe & conveniently located apartment at an incredibly good value! I stayed here alone as a single female, completely unfamiliar with the area & without an itinerary, & felt safe, at home & thoroughly entertained. The only drawback, as mentioned clearly in the listing, is the noise. The train & city sounds were no problem for me, but this is an old (stylishly renovated) home & thus, you can hear EVERYTHING your neighbors are doing. Be mindful!

    Christen2020-02-12T00:00:00Z

  • Truly the best, and the village was amazing

    Richard 2017-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • A delight. Spacious, clean, and a lovely family. The restaurant downstairs smelled maddeningly delicious and I wasn't able to eat there but I'm hoping to return for a meal on a future stay.

    Benjamin2017-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • what a treat! the borland house is a beautiful home with all sorts of interesting architectural details, stately yet lived in enough that you'll feel comfortable here, too. the house has a real b&b feel... it is family run and they open the front sitting room as a breakfast cafe part of the week. it sits on a lovely, treed lot in the center of town that nonetheless feels like a house in the country, complete with a charming front porch with rocking chairs for enjoying the sunshine or the night air. we rented the artists loft, which consists of a private staircase (and a private entrance for use during daytime hours,) a small landing that has a wingback chair and a small, hidden fridge (wonderful!) a roomy bathroom (note there is a shower, no tub,) and two private rooms. one room has a large bed, the other room has a daybed /trundle bed combo that can be either a living room or a second sleeping room, or both, depending on the size of your party! there were even robes like in a fancy hotel. it was winter when we stayed here and the heat was sufficient, neither too hot nor too cold. beds were comfy and the entire place was very clean. keep in mind this is an older home and its' got some antique furnishings... not-so-shabby chic was the look in our artists wing. don't expect a boutique hotel but rather the kind of character you'd want from an old home, plus comfy beds and new windows (no drafts!) the entire place is kept very clean and freshly painted. this is not a corporate hotel where the cleaning crew knock on your door at the same time every day... my room was as i left it, though coffee was replenished and towels were offered (we had already been provided with plenty for our weekend stay.) i felt i had the privacy of my own space with the comfort of knowing there was someone right there if i needed anything. this isn't a company, it's a family, so if you want something, i'd recommend asking for it.. the hosts seem very agreeable but every traveler is different. they seemed to want to give guests the privacy and autonomy they required, but opened up the second that i expressed a wish or an interest in what they were doing (thank you for the tour of the original kitchen and tidbits of history that went along with it!) i was in the area for business and this place gave me just the rest i needed at the end of long, busy workdays! wifi was sufficient but i only checked email and made travel arrangements. not sure if it's suitable for heavier data usage. the home is divided into wings so everyone is rather secluded from the other parts of the home... making for a very quiet and restful stay. i would DEFINITELY like to return for a more leisurely visit. my...

  • Two friends of mine and I had a really nice weekend here. Beautiful town. Great little bakery and bar just a block away. The B&B is lovely, a very well maintained old home. Where we stayed was recently renovated, clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was delicious and a really nice atmosphere. All around a pretty awesome weekend.

    Tommy2016-07-24T00:00:00Z
  • From the outset, Anna made us feel welcome in the (marvelous) B&B that she runs. We needed a weekend away and this was the perfect spot for it. The room & adjoining bathroom were bright and clean. Anna was also on hand to provide suggestions for dinner, lunch, or coffee. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious (smoked steak & eggs paired with avocado toast!). We would go back again in a heartbeat.

This spot is truly one of a kind. Enjoy stunning sunsets on the lake from the enclosed porch, just 10 feet from the lake. Just renovated, small from the outside, spacious, brand-new and bright inside, with a "Cook's Kitchen". The natural beauty of the lake, creek, and woods, with the cozy modern feel, make this the perfect place to relax, play, regenerate and enjoy. An ideal getaway. See below "Other things to note" for cleaning, health & safety measures.
This is a classic 1930's lake cottage, given a new life for 2020. It's been redesigned and renovated (in 2019) to create a bright, contemporary feel. It has brand new heating, plumbing, and A/C systems for comfort and security and yet keeps its character with hints of the original style and structure left behind - an homage to it's past. Inside features a full-sized stove, oven, dishwasher and lots of space for dining, watching the 60" 4k TV, and cuddling in front of the fireplace. Outside you can take in amazing views as you sit by the fire pit or on the wrapped porch, at the edge of Orange Lake, at the head of Bushfield Creek. A truly rare and beautiful spot.
This is a little-known, completely private Lake Community just 3 minutes from civilization - 61 minutes from the George Washington Bridge. No need to go for hours and days to get away.
  • Great place for a weekend getaway, great location right on the lake. Everything was very clean and Thomas is a wonderful host, would definitely come back.

The entrance is shared with the upstairs apartment, but apartments are separate.

Tiny 650 sf cabin Within 15 miles of West Point and Woodbury Commons Beaver Dam Lake usage for fishing and boating. Many nearby hiking trails. Walking distance to NYC train station. Within 8 mile drive to Newburgh waterfront on Hudson River.
Everything about this cabin is small. This includes downstairs bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen. It’s not a cream puff, but it has its own charm.

  • Great place - as described charming little cabin. I would definitely rent again!

  • My friend and I enjoyed such a wonderful stay at this charming cabin, and we credit Lou's exceptional hospitality for much of our experience. As a host, Lou was incredibly responsive and did all within his power to ensure that we had a positive experience; he went above and beyond the call of host duty, even if it meant going out of his way! As for the cabin, the views and fresh air were incredible and the house was spotless and perfectly simple, just what we needed for a long weekend outside the city.

    Kimiko2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • Lou is such a nice host. He showed us the cabin very thoroughly when we arrived and prepared us a nice cabin with coffee, tea, clean towels and even toothbrushes and floss. The cabin is small, charming and cozy. The sun room was very bright and warm, perfect for having breakfast. Surrounded by beautiful scenery but not isolated, we felt very comfortable. We have all we need to enjoy a weekend getaway. Thanks Lou for sharing your home. We will definitively return in the future.

    Yannick2020-01-19T00:00:00Z

So many great little touches that made this stay so romantic and warm. We loved the salt lamps and the notebook to write down your experience. • Wow. What an amazing experience. Needed to escape NYC for a few days and decompress so I popped on Airbnb. Was between here and a place in Woodstock but intuition told me this was it. And I’m glad. Sergey is an amazing host and person who helped me with suggestions for places to go and things to experience. Also awesome that he’s a skydiving instructor so I will be back for that. The area itself is amazing, serene and powerful. Didn’t go hiking this time around but got to see the beauty of it all. I highly suggest you check out Sergey’s DReAM house in the gunks.

  • The Lazy Owl was perfect for a surprise getaway for our 17th anniversary! If you like the pictures, you will love the actual space- warm wood accents and very clean. Marlene's hospitality and attention to detail (from snacks, bottled water and coffee to Q-tips, luxury body wash and plush bath robes) made our stay very special. Her stellar communication and prompt responses to our needs will make us return--can't wait!! ~Michelle & Rah

  • Marlene made the space beautiful and very cozy, and the amenities are fantastic! We made the mistake of stopping by a local store for some supplies before we got there, and didn't even really need them because she already had some breakfast foods and snacks, water, and bath products. It gave us a very comfortable, homey stay while we were visiting the area, and the location was great! Marlene was very responsive while we were there, I would absolutely stay there again!

    Chelsea2019-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • The Lazy Owl is the perfect gateway location. You can see the care and thought that Marlene has put into every detail of this space. The bathroom is seriously GOALS. Impeccably clean with a super-easy check-in. I'm so glad I selected this for an Angry Orchard/girls getaway weekend.

    Kelsey2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • Marlenes place was spectacular! It was the perfect home away from home. Conveniently located in the Hudson Valley Wine and Orchard country. Twenty minutes from Beacon and New Paltz. Furnished with mid-century and 18th century period furniture and art work, yet with all the modern conveniences. Uber and Lift an easy five minutes away. The ancient forest contains many Stone Age rock shelters and calendar sites.
Handicapped accessible. Smoking is permitted on the screened porch only.
Cliff top retreat surrounded by old growth forest only seventy miles from Manhattan. This is truly a special place, with ancient Calendar sites, petroglyphs, burial mounds, rock shelters and caves, some of which date back over five thousand years. Undisturbed for centuries in the ancient forest, they can all be seen on guided hikes. Cliff Top itself, with its all encompassing views, was used as a gathering site for ancient peoples, as attested to the many fire pits found while digging the beds for the rose bushes along the cliff twenty years ago.
  • Mary and Dr. Ned are wonderful hosts and the view is even better than in the pictures. This place is perfect for people who love hiking, exploring small towns or wineries, or people who just want to sit on the porch and read in front of a breathtaking view. We 100% recommend going here. Dr. Ned is extremely knowledgeable on well, everything, and was really friendly to us as Mary made sure we had everything we needed before we got there and was great at communicating! Thank you both for the hospitality. We hope everyone enjoys their stay as much as we did :)

Dr. Ned was superb- showed us around the landmarks of the area while sharing fascinating archeological and historical info. The Airbnb itself is perfectly cozy and beautiful inside, with beautiful artwork all over the walls and warm blankets for the nighttime. Thank you to the both of them for being so welcoming ans generous. We're already planning our next trip back to Turtle Rock.

Escape to picturesque Gardiner, NY and wake up to the best view in the Hudson Valley - the 200 ft rock cliffs of Millbrook Mountain are displayed prominently through all windows in this studio apartment overlooking the Keirnan beef farm and vineyard. Start with a hike to one of the waterfalls in Minnewaska Park and on your way back to the pool and/or hot tub visit one of the local cideries, wineries, or distilleries. Plenty of great farm to table restaurants await your evening celebration.
Recently renovated, this spacious apartment features a hand crafted counter top, barn beam chandelier, and distressed wood table all constructed by the owners from locally reclaimed materials. You will find plenty of space to spread out for both working and playing. The TV nook is a cozy spot relax and the bathroom and shower are bright and clean. As accommodating as the apartment is, you will constantly be drawn to surrounding landscape. Come down and enjoy a swim (pool) or soak (hot tub) in our backyard garden.
Gardiner is a small town south of the busier and more happening New Paltz. We’re 10 minutes to Minnewaska State Park and even closer to the climbing areas of the Gunks, 15 minutes into New Paltz (food, drinks, shops, etc), and less than 7 minutes away from the Angry Orchard cidery (and even closer to the Tuthilltown Distillery and several wineries). If you want to drive a little further, 25 minutes will get you over to the Hudson River and you can do the walkway over the Hudson and then the variety of food, drink, and shopping opportunities of Poughkeepsie or the art galleries in Beacon.
  • Jeff was such a great host! The apartment was clean, quiet, and comfortable. (It looks just like the photos.) • Our stay at the Borland House was truly pleasant. Beautiful accommodations and amenities. The added bonus of purchasing an awesome breakfast was a plus. Great location to small businesses and eateries. Would definitely recommend staying here.

  • A hidden gem tucked away. Lovely guest house with plenty of quaint features and history to explore. Comfortable two night stay here and a yummy brunch to top it off on out on the sunny porch!

  • The rocking chairs on the front porch is a perfect place to have morning coffee and plan the day. The secret garden in the back is a great place to unwind and watch the birds steal the berries from the old cherry trees. A wonderful walking town, beautiful park by the river and many shops.

  • The place is beautiful, very thoughtfully decorated. Brunch was delicious. Anna was very warm and welcoming as were the brunch wait staff! We hope to return soon.

  • Had everything we needed! Very well appointed. Old house charm, with modern amenities. Super clean, nice sheets and towels. Do keep in mind that there are stairs to be climbed. Didn’t eat there, but the food looked and smelled amazing! Lots of local places to walk to as well.

  • We had a wonderful 3 night stay at the Borton House. The location was perfect, parking ample, and our room and private bathroom were clean and comfortable. It was exactly what we needed for our brief stay in the Hudson Valley area. If we ever return to the area, we will be sure to stay here again!

Located just 50 miles north of NYC, this quaint country retreat has stunning mountain views, jet spa bathtubs, an infrared sauna, a full outdoor basketball court, home gym, and nine acres of private woods that invite scenic walks. Great for romantic getaways, family vacations, group retreats, and escapes from the city!
This quiet country retreat is located just 7 minutes from the nearest bus to NYC (1 hour), 15 minutes from Woodbury Commons, 15 minutes from Harriman State Park, 20 minutes from West Point. Our home has a 2-car garage as well as a large driveway with a full basketball court. The house includes a fully equipped kitchen, two large dining tables that can seat 14 people, a porch that makes outside dining easy and convenient, a large yard for relaxing sun bathing, as well as fast wifi and free Netflix.
The house is located in a quiet, scenic, and secluded area -- although we are just 7 minutes by car from three towns with everything you could need for your stay. Each town has its own historic touch -- just ask for things to do and see.
  • This place is so nice! My boyfriend and I had a really relaxing weekend here. The house is in the woods, gorgeous views, really spacious. Everything was extremely clean, and the kitchen was amazingly well-stocked! Note that there is an amazing sauna on the lower floor. This was definitely one of the nicer Airbnbs I’ve stayed at. Sam was really easily to communicate with. We had to check out later than scheduled but he had no problem with that. Highly recommended!

  • Sam's house is spacious and big and worked out very well for our family. Lots of bathrooms and three bedrooms! We enjoyed it.

  • If you are looking for a family friendly place to stay in the Hudson Valley, this is it. There was a ton of space for our kids to run around outside (10 acres) and the layout worked well for rainy day play as well. We are always worried when traveling with 4 rambunctious (yet well behaved) kids. Sam was extremely hospitable, made sure we had everything we needed while there, and assured us our kids were welcome! Just a heads up, if you are dependent on a microwave, there is not one. This was not a problem at all for us, but for some it may be. Every other kitchen appliance/amenities were available. We will be back in the area in the future to visit family and will look to book here first.

  • This is a gorgeous home with everything you could need. It's spacious, comfortable, and extremely clean. The views of the surrounding mountains are stunning from both the bedrooms and the living room/kitchen area. There's also a really large backyard and beautiful woods in which you can do a solid 15 minute walk. Sam responded immediately when we contacted him to tell him we had arrived and were leaving, was really friendly throughout, including giving us detailed suggestions for local restaurants and hikes. This will now be our go-to place whenever we visit our family in the area.

    Tom2018-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent!

    Richard2018-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • It was a nice place with a lot of space. Sam wasn’t around during our stay but we were able to contact him pretty easily.

Our apartment is 6 miles from downtown New Paltz on a quiet and private setting only 1.5 hours from New York City, in the heart of Hudson Valley's Wine Country and apple/peach orchards. Just renovated. Sleeps 2-3. Fridge is stocked with local eggs, bread, cheese, coffee, wine. 7 miles from Mohonk Preserve and 10 miles from Gunks climbing area, and great Cross-country skiing. Quiet street on a 4 acre, only a quarter mile from Adair Winery
Just renovated 1 bedroom apartment located in the back of our 1850' Federal house. The apartment is on the first floor with its own entrance. We mow the yard in the summer and feel free to use it for picnics, but we don't have any gardens and it grows pretty wild.
Our road is part of the Hudson Valley Wine trail and one of the wineries is one quarter mile down the road (Adair Winery). A grocery store is 3 miles away, and down town New Paltz is 6 miles away. Minnewaska State Park is a 22,275 acre state park perfect for winter activities like cross country skiing, snowshoeing and ice climbing. Minnewaska is a 25 min. drive from the apartment Mohonk Preserve has 8,000 acres for cross country skiing, snow shoeing, ice climbing and iceskating. Mohonk is about a 20 minutes drive away. Hunter Mountain, Belleyre and Windham are great areas for downhill skiing and are all approximately 1 hour drive north of New Paltz.
  • Absolutely wonderful. Everything. Thank you!

  • Well-decorated with lots of thoughtful touches. When we were there, there was a bottle of wine in the fridge, liquors and mixes, fresh bread, and coffee. The place is really well decorated and quiet. In the late afternoons and early evening there were lots of deer in the yard. a great place to stay for a few days to get away from it all.

    James2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • We loved the space! All the homestyle touches like the eggs, milk and coffee were welcomed after our cross country flight and long drive from NYC. Thank you for a restful and adventurous start to our New York visit.

  • We loved our stay at this sweet little cottage. The special touches really made it and we enjoyed all of Annas recommendations. A cosy spot with all the board games you need for a night in.

  • Anna’s place is very stylish and comfortable. I admire her skill in interior decorating! Anna is also very accommodating and communicative. We love the area and have visited many times and this was a very nice place to have as a home base.

    Sandra2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Space was lovely! We very much enjoyed our three night stay there, felt like a home away from home. Perfect for a romantic getaway. The restaurant recommendations our hosts made were spot on ( Schatzi’s, Main St Bistro) and we also got Thai food from Lemongrass that was very good as well. Hosts were very kind and offered for us to check in early and check out late since they had no guest coming after us. Very thoughtful and we appreciated that. Will definitely be back!

    Lucca2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed having a warm and private space to relax after both a long day in the mountains and a long night of travel. This place had everything you’d expect (fresh towels, clean dishes, WiFi, etc) plus a bunch of extras like fresh eggs and bread for breakfast, GOOD coffee, and a really environmentally friendly feel some of us appreciate. Only 10 minutes from New Paltz too which is great! Your guests, Sean and Alex

  • Anna’s place was exceptional- clean, cozy, and stylish! We had a terrific time in New Paltz and were able to just enjoy our time and relax in the mornings at the apartment. Downtown was close and so is Mohonk- lots to do! The eggs, fruit, cheese and wine were so nice.. such a sweet touch! Looking forward to enjoying our time there again soon!
