This will have to be my first ever exceptional review for an exceptionally pleasant stay. Over the past four years I have had many great experiences with AirBnb, but this place was simply the best. The check in, the check out and all communication with the host was spot on! Almost instant! Lovely countryside views and a great luxury feel have made our stay very special. The house itself is very spacious and it has been recently refurbished. I am the type of person that spends hours reading lots of reviews before placing a booking and as such I had high expectations when I made the booking. All my expectations were exceeded and I fully recommend Manu's place. Luxury and great taste, all very affordable. Thanks for having us! We will definitely return one day!

An amazing oasis in the middle of the nature. If you want to relax and just chill in an amazingly designed place, this is it! The attention to every detail, from the quality of the towels, sheets, the beds and everything else, to the coziness of the space, this is for sure a ZEN break! We came here with out nephew who's only 10 months, and yes, it's a good place for families too. Thank you very much Dili and Manu, you were super hosts, and your place it's amazing! I booked the place for 5 friends of mine, they were pleased by the quality of the House. It is well furnished and very clean. Madeleine the neighbor was very careful. I highly recommend the place if you have to stay in the area.

We spent a night at Yorick, the bedroom and the bathroom are spacious, bedding is perfect, the location is perfect, and the hosts are charming! And little more: the heated pool at least November, it's really nice. We highly recommend!

Das Haus ist extrem ruhig, äußerst gepflegt und in bester Lage neben der romanischen Abteikirche und ein optimaler Ausgangspunkt für eine zauberhafte Radtour oder Spaziergänge in den Loire-Auen. Very good stay at the eco-lodge. Warm and available hosts. Very well set in a recent house, well equipped (bicycles available, swimming pool), in the quiet countryside. The presence of animals (rabbits, donkeys, chickens) made the happiness of our children.

The house is lovely … Just as in the description and pictures, it’s very warm and comfortable, with a very Scandinavia feel and a wonderful kitchen. The ecological heating system is very effective, keeping the house warm, and with lots of hot water for showers. Borrowing bicycles, we very much enjoyed exploring St Benoît sur Loire and going to the church there at Easter: a living monastery, with a great history. Bicycling back along the river to Gemigny was a real treat. Hélène and her family were very welcoming – the chickens came by the terrace each morning just to check we were alright! Thank you for a lovely stay. La maison est très belle ... Tout comme dans la description et les photos, elle est pleine de chaleur et très confortable, avec un atmosphère très scandinave et une cuisine merveilleuse. Le système de chauffage écologique est très efficace, avec beaucoup d'eau chaude pour les douches. En empruntant les vélos gentiment mis à notre disposition, nous avons beaucoup apprécié explorer St Benoît sur Loire et y aller à l'église à Pâques: un monastère vivant, avec une longue histoire. Faire du vélo le long de la rivière à Gemigny et à Sully était un vrai régal. Hélène et sa famille étaient très accueillants – les poulets sont venus sur la terrasse chaque matin pour vérifier que nous étions bien … Merci pour ce merveilleux séjour !

Totally exotic and beautifully decorated, a little oasis planted in the fields, ideal for us, Parisians too rushed, time for a long weekend. The heat of the stove pellets, chickens in the yard, furniture raw wood, lime leaves "home" provision, the true elegance of a real country house, completely renovated and contemporary. Our children (5 and 1O) loved a bit associated with animal life of the owners (cat, dog, pony ...). Attention car required to access the small local jewels such as the Basilica of St Benoit sur Loire ...

Helene & her family have a lovely home and were very kind & thoughtful - taking our children for a ride on their donkeys, making telephone calls to check on opening times (national holiday) and giving us suggestions for places to visit. Their own home is in the same grounds as the holiday property, but Helene is quite happy to leave you in peace! Also attached to the property are two other b&b accommodations. These share walls with your own property which can lead to a little bit of disturbance; I know that our kids were heard through the wall and we heard a family next door, first thing in the morning. There is also the potential of having to share the (lovely) pool and surrounding area. All in all, though, we had a great fortnight and wouldn't hesitate in recommending 'La Bonnee d'ane' for a stay

We had a very pleasant stay of one week with Marie and her family. With a daughter of four garden was ideal to romp and play corner very nice. Marie was still helpful in all areas. Contact with other travelers during breakfast or dinner (dinner) we were very nice, very pleasant moments. Marie's husband cooked evening a nice and honest supper with as many local products. An absolute must for both shorter and longer durations. Marie and her family work very hard but do it with passion! Very nicely decorated rooms and dining anyway.

We had a very pleasant stay with Marie and Laurent. An ideal stopover on the way south, but also for a stay of several nights. Very warm and friendly welcome, nice garden with toys for children, common room with extra toys for the children. Quiet neighborhood. Very good table d'hotes! Very tasty with pleasant company. Decent rooms with very clean bathroom and good shower! Marie is a perfect hostess!

We can only advise you that address. We spent a night on a driving holiday. The children were able to enjoy the garden, swings and games available to them ... after a day in the car ... they were thrilled. The room is comfortable and very nice bathroom. And more: the very warm welcome from Mary!

Good reception! Nice to eat with the family and other guests. Is slightly further from the A10 motorway off so keep this in mind when passing night. Nice welcome with homemade appetizers! Room is neat and clean but looks small by sloping walls. Shower there and against formidable! Breakfast is very decent but provides fine! Coffee you get in a soup bowl, but that seems to be normal in France. Nice garden for young children, with swings and slide!

Studio parfaitement conforme au descriptif. Dans une jolie petite bourgade, commodités sur la place attenante, et rayonnement facile en voiture ou à vélo vers tous les sites touristiques de cette belle région classée au patrimoine mondial de l'Unesco. (l'office de tourisme est à 2 minutes à pied). Je recommande vivement ce logement !

Le gîte à notre arrivée n'était pas nettoyé : sol pas fait, barbecue immonde. Le détail du plafond très bas est devenu trop présent. C'est plus que bas. Chaque adulte s'est cogné la tête au moins une fois. L'étage était irrespirable avec une chaleur étouffante. La clim qu'on a du monter à l'étage est bruyante et dégage une chaleur à gérer... Surprise aussi de partager l'endroit avec d'autres. Enfin bref. Déçu. À ce prix là c'est abusé. La maison est davantage pour 4 ou 5 personnes. Le nombre de chaises le prouve. Ainsi que la dimension des tables. Trop cher donc.

If you want peace, nature, animals ... and spend a pleasant time with family you have to go to Christiane !!! A small detail: the dishwasher a little surprising!

My fiancé and I just spent a weekend at La Muid and had the most lovely time. The photos really don't do the place justice. It's really spacious and has so much character. Sophie and Vincent were very accommodating, the log burner was fully loaded and ready to go when we arrived which was a lovely treat on a fresh February evening. As we were here to look for local wines for our wedding Vincent kindly gave us one to try from his wine cellar to try and it was perfect! We visited Sancerre with was within an hour drive and well worth a visit. We look forward to coming back to stay again next year. We would highly recommend for a break in la Loire Valley x

We spend 2 nights at Gîte "le muid" Sophie was lovely the place was clean and looked like the pictures we made a fire at night and visited Sancerre during the day. Was a very nice weekend. I would recommend it to anyone who would like some time away from the city. Quiet and relaxing, thank you.

Wir haben drei ruhige, erholsame Tage bei Sophie verbracht. Das Gite ist sehr schön, gut eingerichtet und liegt ruhig, abseits des Ortes. Sophie ist eine sehr nette, zuvorkommende Gastgeberin - wir können die Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen.

Sadly we were unable to meet the hosts on arrival but they gave clear instructions. They had been there earlier that day and put the heating on so it was lovely and warm and very welcoming after a long day! The accommodation is in a shared building and the apartment is beautiful and equipped with everything you need.

We had a lovely time staying in Nath and Xavi's apartment. The chateau is old and interesting and is reached by a winding drive through part of the forest of Orleans. The gate to the chateau is kept locked and so it feels quite safe inside. The chateau even has a moat! The apartment is on the first floor at the front of the building looking out onto tall trees and the moat. Once inside the apartment, it is light, modern and very comfortably furnished. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, the wifi is excellent, the bed is comfortable and the shower functions well. In spite of there being 12 apartments in the chateau we were not bothered with noise at all. There is a coffee machine with a supply of pods, a washing machine and (French) TV. St Martin is a small village but very close to Chateauneuf-sur-Loire which is a very pretty little town with beautiful public gardens. The apartment is located in a beautiful area of France, very close to the Loire with lots of interesting places to visit. We wished we had longer to explore. Nath and Xavi are a delightful couple who communicated well with us beforehand and made our arrival easy and welcoming. They showed great concern for our welfare and enjoyment and we could contact them at any time. Xavi even offered to help carry our luggage upstairs! We would highly recommend Nath and Xavi as hosts and their apartment as an excellent place to stay in this beautiful region of France.

This sweet little cottage was a great place to stay on our trip back from the south of France. It is very quirky but comfortable and there was everything we needed to make dinner and settle in front of the open fire on that chilly evening. The view of the Loire from the bedroom was magnificent. Isabelle's daughter was waiting for us when we arrived with local honey they had collected from family hives. Sadly the daughter forgot to show us to the second bedroom which is out through the garden so we had to make up the sofa bed instead. Isabelle was very apologetic the next day, but it didn't matter as we really enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful short stay at Isabelle. As she was abroad are his sister and his cousin (Marie and Patrick) who welcomed us. Our hosts were more than friendly and hospitable. The cottage is really lovely and well placed. We loved the bike ride along the Loire, chimney fires and the view from the cottage. Would recommend without moderation.
