Great room, really clean. It is an old house, so the ceiling is low, a bit difficult in some common rooms, but comfortable in the bedroom, where ceilings are high. All in all a really nice place, would recommend it to my friends :)

Wonderful home and stay! Laufen is a great little place. Transportation from Salzburg was easy too. Andrea's home was comfortable, clean, and well appointed. We really appreciated the extra touches such as cold water in the fridge and a little bottle of wine. Thanks Andrea! Can't wait to come visit again.

Laufen it's lovely place on the way to Salzburg. You can see by amount of the feedback that the Andrea's apartment are really nice. I just can only confirmed it. Parking free of charge in front of the landlord's garage door. Wifi free and with normal speed. This apartment for max 4 persons: one big bed and one sofa-transformer. Kitchen fully staffed. In the fridge water, bottle of vine. Candies and koffee machine with capsules. In the bath a lot of towels(more than you need). Bäckerei and Schlächterei on the distance of 100 m from apartment. The Laufen have a nice bridge between Germany and Austria. It's really quiet place to rest on the way to Germany. Andrea organized everything nice. Thanks a lot, Andrea!

Andrea amazed us with so many thoughtful and personal touches, from coffee, wine, chocolates, plenty of towels, TP, house slippers, shampoo selections, etc. We felt so at home and relaxed! There were nice restaurants in walking distance that were enjoyable (the Friendly bar). Look closely on the garage door when you should be close to #8 and you can see the Airbnb sign. We had a bit of trouble finding the house #. Very clean and comfortable! Beautiful city to walk around!

A quiet location bordering Germany and Austria. Salzburg can be reached via car in about 30 minutes. The apartment was just nice and spacious enough for 3 of us. The interior decor was really beautiful and we loved it. Ample bathroom amenities were provided. The only downside was that the water heater broke down while we were there but thankfully we had finished showering. Overall, it was still a nice place if you are looking to chill and relax.

Just perfect!

Kleines, gemütlich eingerichtetes Mansardenzimmer in einem frisch renovierten Stadthaus aus dem 19. (?) Jahrhundert. Von dort aus ist die Ortsmitte von Oberndorf in 5 Minuten, das Stadt-Zentrum von Laufen (Bayern) in 15 Minuten fußläufig erreichbar. Die Kommunikation mit Barbara und Philipp verlief reibungslos. Während das Zimmer selbst für ein paar Tage sehr geschickt ist, sind Bad und Küche für große Menschen nicht so prickelnd, da das Zwischengeschoss stellenweise unter 1,90 m hoch ist, was aber zum Teil den Charme des Hauses ausmacht.

Staying at Karins' amazing place was an experience, everything is made with precision, so pleasant and spacious. Everything is well furnished - from a great kitchen with all its offers to the fantastic shower, warm bedroom and great pictures on the wall. Karin was extremly nice to us, explaining everything needed to know about the area and about her house. Our only regret is that it wasnt a nice weather and that we were only for two days. Other than this we are thankful for her and willingly recommend everyone to come. Thank you Karin :)

Karin was a great hostess! Even before the communication worked perfectly and when you check in everything was perfect also worked, although we congestion caused arrived almost 3 hours later than agreed. Her son then has made us feel very nice welcome and explained everything to us! The apartment is gorgeous exactly like the photos! Huge and all very tasteful! Unfortunately we had no time to enjoy the full apartment with a fantastic view kitchen and terrace! The apartment is super close to the train so that you can easily take the train to Salzburg! Even otherwise, the location is perfect, beautifully situated on the country bridge between Oberndorf and running! I can therefore only recommend the apartment and even praise Karin as hostess!

Staying at Karin's was such a pleasure! Her apartment is extremely spacious and equipped with all of the necessities (towels, blankets, soaps, etc). Being a cooking instructor, her kitchen is a highlight of the apartment - with multiple ovens, a very fast cook top, high tech dishwasher, a huge island and more. Karin is so sweet and generous, allowing guests full access to her kitchen and and all of her top notch cookware. She even provides guests with a private cooking lesson on request - an experience you definitely shouldn't miss out on. There are two bathrooms - very modern and one with a huge shower. Although the bed is a couch bed, it is very comfortable (more so than some real beds), and the bedroom is spacious as well. Although the living room is enormous, there is not too much lounging furniture (it is more of an open space with one couch and two dining tables), however, there is a great covered balcony with couches outside and overall the apartment is very comfortable. The neighborhood is very cute and she lives very close to the train station (just a few minute walk), which you can easily take to Salzburg. Overall I would highly recommend staying at Karin's! It is definitely a steal and a fantastic find if you want somewhere huge and modern to stay with a great host!

Staying at Karin's place was one of the best experience for me with airbnb. The place is well connected to Salzburg. Walk away restaurants.. Huge and nice place, amazing decor, and above all, Karin! She had been a Wonderful host..getting all problems resolved if we had any! On first day, she gave a small introductory tour about the city! Suggested all the do's and don'ts! If you are looking for a great place with the great host, this is the one!

Karin is a great host and her apartment is fantastic. Very spacious, right on the center of the town an very near the rail station. The town is a great base to visit Bavaria and upper Austria (specially Salzburg 20 min by train or car). The apartment is also a cooking school so the guest will fin a huge assortment of implements for cooking and making coffee. A great value no doubt.

We stayed at Karin's flat for a bit more than a month as an interim flat after moving to the Salzburg area. Overall, a fantastic flat - very spacious living room, a huge and super well-equipped kitchen and a nice terrace. The flat is centrally located in Oberndorf, which is a very charming small town a bit north of Salzburg. There's a river very close to the flat and you can take really nice jogs or walks along the river. We only met Karin a few times, but she was very welcoming and helpful whenever we needed something. We can fully recommend the flat to anyone looking for a place in the Salzburg area and would happily come back again.

Her flat is a stunning, very large and modern apartment right in the centre of Oberndorf, walking distance from lovely restaurants and bars and in a very scenic part of town. Apartment beautiful ... amazing stay ... laszlo and his mother are two people very kind and cordial. The house is equipped with every comfort, clean and warm. It is 20 minutes from Salzburg. We loved staying at this residence; the pictures do not do it justice. It has been our favourite accommodation so far, and will be hard to beat. It is situated 30 minutes on train from Salzburg, in a beautiful village, with cafes, restaurants and supermarkets. The train station is a 10 minute walk from the house. Lazlo was very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. He met us at the train station and organised bikes for us to ride around the village. His mother dropped us back to the train station with our bags. The house belongs to his grandparents and he manages it for them. It is a big residence, with a beautiful garden. We would not hesitate to recommend this accommodation and wished we had stayed longer.

Laszo greeted us personally, show us around the beautiful house with the large back garden. The house is very cozy and decorated with plants and beautiful paintings. The Place is very Strategic, Walking distance to Laufen center where we could view the scenic view of the Salzach River. We love staying at your beautiful House. We had our dinner by the garden. The location is good.20 minutes to Salzburg by car. The villa is wonderful, fine decoration. Old style building and furniture with modern equipment . Big garden, quite surrounding . Lazlo is a great host. Hope visit again.

The house is located in Laufen, just 20 minutes drive from the center of Salzburg. It has private garage and is surrounded by a large garden. The house is very bright and has a new kitchen and well equipped. Laszlo did find milk, water and chocolates and dispensed advice to the nearby shops and Salzburg. We stayed there in December ... really nice Christmas atmosphere. Recommended!!!

Stefan has a nice, clean apt with mostly everything you could need for your stay. Stefan was not available but his friend Jan helped us into the place. We were tired and couldn't find the building at first and Jan must have seen us from the window because he came down to meet us before we could call for help. The Italian place downstairs has wonderful food and a friendly staff. We suggest purchasing the weekly train ticket RIGHT OFF THE BAT(before heading to Laufen) i f you plan on going to Salzburg. That would be most cost effective. Cute town, not too much to do. The walking path by the river is quite nice. It is close to the train station and about 20 min ride to Salzburg.

Laufen is a very nice old town at the river Salzach. 25 minutes to get to Salzburg by train or 15 minutes by car. The apartment was perfectly located for me. there is a very nice swimming pool and sauna in 7 minutes walk from apartment. I enjoyed staying there If i return to Salzburg i would like staying here again.

We stayed at Stefan's place for 4 days. Great apartment (in what used to be a castle!) in a very convenient location. 5-min walk to train station to Salzburg and road access to most sights in the area - including the wonderful lakes. Laufen is a gorgeous town and you can walk everywhere. The apartment is beautifully furnished and, although there's a restaurant downstairs, really quiet (there's almost no one eating after 9:30pm anyway!). Stefan is a wonderful host. He checked us in and gave us all the info we needed and also saved my computer (and my life!) when he lent me his adaptor to plug it in. He was always available. I strongly recommend his place. Stefan was a wonderful host. Very welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed our stay in his apartment very much. It was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The city itself is very cute, with little shops nearby and a bridge where you can cross to the Austria side. The train stop is very close, about 7-8min walk that takes you right to Salzburg in about 25min. The one week pass is about 18 euro per person and we found it to be much cheaper than the 4 euro ticket each way. We have no complaints with this place, we really enjoyed our time there and would definitely recommend it for anyone:) Thank you Stefan!!

Laufen is a very nice small town at the river Salzach near Salzburg. The flat is in situated in the middle of the city in an ancient castle. In the house is a good pizzeria and other restaurants nearby. The flat was clean and good equipped. Stefan and his friend Elena are very nice hosts, very good communication before and during the trip. We could recommend him as a good host.

Great house in quiet country side surroundings. We enjoyed our stay at Bernhard's house in the outskirts of Salzburg.

This is a wonderful place to stay outside Salzburg. It is particularly an excellent choice for families. Bernhard was an exceptional host. His communication with us during our stay was excellent. Most of all, we had the opportunity to observe how Bernhard dealt with a party that was staying in the other apartment in the house. He was unfailingly patient and polite, despite the fact that they were supposed to arrive early in the morning, and then when it was getting on to 8 PM he was still waiting for them. Nevertheless, he showed no irritation (as anyone would have at that point) and could not have been more polite. That says a lot about him and how he hosts other travelers. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Such a pretty house! You can see the stars at night and rabbits and cows during the day. The kitchen is well stocked, and our family of four was comfortable. The internet worked well too. And the location is perfect for driving to Berchtesgaden! Bernhard was a terrific and thoughtful host. He responded quickly to our communications. My only small comment is that, if you have light sleepers in the house, they might find the loft to be a bit noisy. Nighttime bathroom visits, which require footsteps across the loft and down the stairs, are quite audible. But it was fine for us. My daughter and I even exercised every day upstairs, and it was a fun spot to do so. Thanks, Bernhard!

Nice place to stay in, if you have a car. the location of this place is awesome, its quiet and calm place with greenery all around. specially recommended for families with kids.

Despite our extremely late arrival, Bernhard was very kind and accommodating. His place is impeccably clean and beautiful. The pictures don't do it justice. It' very peaceful and majestic. The balcony views are picturesque. My boys loved the fruit trees, cows, rabbits, horses and chickens in the neighborhood. It was a quick drive to Salzburg and close to unique, quaint restaurants. I highly recommend this spacious farmhouse loft. The views are gorgeous!!! Well worth the cost.

Bernhard'S cottage is much warmer and cosier than shown in the pics .... we had a lovely time in the cottage .Bernhard is a great host ..he explained us every detail which we needed ..He even picked us up and dropped us to the cottage and pre booked our taxi on the day of departure ..the house was clean and comfortable. Would surely recommend it to other travellers .just 1 suggestion : if there can be couple of (URL HIDDEN) would be an added attraction

Anna is a very nice person who lives in a fancy house and offers a small room. She thinks even little things like glasses in the room, small candies and even toys for the little one. Very nice bathroom and the bed was quite comfortable. Slept very well. Very highly recommended!

I definitely recommend this place to other people, this house is a great location if you are able to drive, but is a bit of a long walk to the town. Everywhere was spotless and exactly as described, Bernhard was a lovely host and communicated clearly, being on time.

This place is far Off the Beaten path. It cost €126 to get to this place and back to the airport to rent a car. Host communicated frequently but did not want to be put out at all. Would recommend Bernhard research what it takes to be a "landlord" in this highly competitive industry.

We felt very comfortable with Dominique. The apartment is ready relitätsgetreu with the photos. Everything is neat, clean and well equipped. The hamlet itself is very quiet and idyllic. In addition, Dominique was very straightforward and open. The Whermutstropfen is actually not, because we just happened to notice the approach path. Since these are very few aircraft happen, they do not bother. We would go back anytime!

A lovely, roomy loft apartment on the outskirts of Salzburg that looks exactly like the pictures on airbnb. Dominique met us on arrival and showed us around the apartment We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the apartment to fellow travellers.

We felt at Dominique and Agi very well. The apartment is very cozy and clean. The verffentlichten in ad pictures correspond to the actual conditions. However, we do not want to hide the fact that the expected rest of us had not been fully "in the country". Aircraft and train noise as well as a construction site in a residential area but have very disturbed us every now and then. A significantly positive rating for the apartment, only satisfactory for the environment.

The place was fine but it's not an entire apartment is something like a house divided into two or three tiny apartments. I was fine because it was nobody else there otherwise I wonder if l might have had to share the bathroom which is not into the place I rented.

Staying with Elizabeth is exactly as it is in the descriptions. We had to be lucky the first guests at her and felt the same welcome. We arrived - unlike originally planned - until the late evening and were greeted by Elisabeth cordially! The apartment has a separate entrance door and you have everything you need for a few relaxing days. Since it was bitterly cold during our two-day stay, we only visited Salzburg which is by car about 25 minutes away. Staying with Elizabeth was very nice and we can only recommend their guest!

Elisabeth was a really good host. She even fetch us at the train station amd offered us a lift to Salzburg on Sunday. There're some language barrier but that was not really a problem because we understand each other perfectly. The house really nice, its like a small cottage house with attic. Perfect for 3 persons and have everything we need for 4nights stay. The only issue is public transportation as no bus operated on weekend to the train station. Its quite far to walk by foot which we did one time. If you're driving, this is the best place for you in salzburg, no doubt!

Elisabeth was the perfect host. The language barrier between us didn't matter as she was so welcoming and warm. She met us when we arrived and had went through the trouble of (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) Translating the 'Welcome Guide' that is normally in German so that we didn't have to. The apartment is completely private with your own entrance and key and Elisabeth gives you all the privacy you need. Although the location is slightly out of the way (40 minute drive into Salzburg), it was perfect for us as it was a lovely place to relax. Elisabeth was always happy to help if we had any questions and even came to the apartment to help us work the washing machine. The apartment is very cosy and warm with a kitchen full of supplies. Although there is no hob, there is an induction hot plate which comes in handy. We are very jealous of the next guests to stay at Elisabeth's place and we would have stayed longer if we could have!! Thank you so much for having us!

excellent accommodation, the house and the neighborhood are perfect, quiet and clean area, gentle people. The hosts, Florian, was available at most and very welcoming and caring. Discretion and freedom are the features that complete the picture. We recommend it to anyone, whether families with children (the garden is ideal for them to play that to relax), also suitable for couples. The house is large, very bright, full of every comfort. functional kitchen. No problem to park your car.

Florian welcomed us in the best way (complete with biscuits on the table when we arrived) was always punctual and friendly towards us, gave us all the necessary information about the house and the neighborhood, we told us that we could contact him no problems for any need and provided us with everything we needed for our stay (towels, kitchenware, hair dryer, soaps, linens and made us even find a full refrigerator and pantry packed drinks)

Friendly and personalized welcome Florian who proved helpful and very attentive to its travelers. His house is nice and it also fitted very welcoming manner. The garden is a plus for relaxation! Florian is an excellent host. The house was super clean and he left us some food. The house is spacious with a big garden (the photo only shows a small part of it) where the kids enjoyed playing. It is very close to Salzburg and the drive is easy. The neighborhood is very quite with 2 supermarkets that are only 200 meters away. It is also very close to the lake and a playground where kids can have loads of fun. Florian also gave us the portable Wifi which made our life much more easier as we enjoyed our time in Salzburg. He was also very flexible with the check in and check out timing. We will definitely come back again.

It's a real farm. The hosts locally do not speak english, but where extremely kind. Our kids could play outside and there was a swing, a table tennis and a couple of pedaling karts. The house is as described, clean and confortable. It's best to have a car.

Gerhard is an effective host. The place is perfectly quiet 18 km from Salzburg. The apartment corresponded exactly to the description. It must still clear that without a GPS, the place can be hard to find. But my GPS guided me perfectly. During my stay, there were plenty of nice touches put behind the door of the apartment as pears from the orchard or a delicious little apple pie. I highly recommend this place very well equipped.

Home in super quiet farm. Ideal for children having fun outdoors. car is needed to go to town. Very nice people and friendly owners. I recommend it for families.

This was our first ever time of using Air BnB and it was an excellent experience. The accommodation was well equipped and exactly as described. It was excellent value for money and easy enough to find using information from the owner and (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps. Our host communicated with us effectively prior to our visit and we were made to feel welcome on our arrival. We were able to drive to the outskirts of Salzburg in around 20 minutes where we used Messe Centre Park and Ride to get into the heart of the city. It was nice to return to the peace and quiet of the farm accommodation at the end of a hectic day (we were visiting the Salzburg Festival). I would recommend this accommodation for anyone wanting to combine a city break with a peaceful country retreat.

The house is in a wonderful place in the countryside, close to Obertrum lake and 20 min from Salzburg. Tha house is very nice, clean and very well equipped. There are many facilities for families (kids playground, bbq, external table etc) and Gerard's family is very kind.

Very nice, clean place. The contact person, Gerhard, is not the person living there, it is the parents in law who live on the farm. They do not speak English, so guests are on their own. We managed to find out about parking in Salzburg, how to get through the old city (not an easy task because of the many one way streets), and how to visit Grossglockner through trial and error. We had a very good time. Would stay there again if I go with a car.

Christine is a great hostess. Even before our arrival, we voted on a possible dinner, breakfast and the temperature requirements for the two rooms. The house corresponded totally descriptive. It's heavenly location and it would be best to stay a whole week there. We sat in the evening like old friends at the table, the roast pork with dumplings and red cabbage was delicious, the beer tasty. Then there were the many discussions in the comfortable sofa corner by the fireplace. Two cats purr can caress. Breakfast with homemade jam, sausage and cheese from the neighborhood was plentiful. Unforgettable is the subsequent walk with the hosts through woods and fields, in which we accompanied the tame buck neighbor. He jumped happily around us, sat stroking, vanished time in the woods, and then again to come toward us. I would recommend this Quartier and their hosts only warmest!

Christine is warm and welcoming; the location is perfect, and the rooms comfortable. Be advised that the room can get a little hot if the windows are closed, and that if you open them, a few mosquitos may join you. The surrounding farmland and homey feel more than make up for this minor inconvenience, though; the countryside is simply stunning.

Everything was very good! Me and my girlfriend stayed here for a night on our way to Munchen. We didn't stay in the room with balcony, we had hosts room, but it was very nice, spacious, with a lot of light and very big comfortable bed. In spite of Christine wasn't there due to her work, everything was prepared for our arriving, and young boy who also lives there welcomed us and showed us everything. We used Christine's kitchen, which is good - equiped. House is located in beautifull and quite village, not far from Laufen (which is by the way very lovely too). This house were built in Bayern style but there are a lot of eastern motives in decoration. Very good atmosphere, we felt very good and peacefull there.

Comrades, I also, that one can losradeln the house immediately, and has such a beautiful area outside the door. In order the Hexenhäuschen everything is so peaceful. It was a nice stay at Christines cottage! Mesbah, her tenant welcomes me and he offer me to eat supper with him. The location in the genuine countryside is wonderful! Christine is very friendly and nice!

I didn't meet Christine but our communication was very good and positive. Her house is beautiful. Her cats are very affectionate. Perfect for some quiet relaxing time. She lent me a bicycle which was great. I cycled to the lake which is only 6km - 25 min on the bike. There's a beautiful golf course a few km away. I'll go back there hopefully.

Bianca's place is great, clean and quiet. It is just 15 minutes drive away from Salzburg. We highly recommend it.

We loved this house. Quite the dream house! It is beautiful, fabulously decorated, open, airy, great kitchen, and fabulous, bright bedrooms. There were three bathrooms for the four of us! And from the bathtub, you look through a skylight at the mountains. The back veranda is like an open living room and the gardens are tranquil. The neighbors were all very nice. We went biking while we were there which was awesome. We were close to Salsburg, the mountains and a great swimming lake. Perfect location! I would be perfectly happy living there!

We had a wonderful stay! The home was comfortable, spacious and clean. We were looking for a location close to Salzburg, but in a more rural setting. This was the perfect spot. My 3 year old loved especially exploring the garden and saying hi to the horses across the lane. We even had an internet outage and Bianca responded right away to get it fixed. This really helped us out since we were visiting from the US and we're relying on wifi to plan our daily activities - as opposed to using up our international data plan. I'd definitely recommend Bianca's home to anyone.

This is one of the best value house that I have used. Great hostess, good location, and family freandly. I highly recommend it to all families and traveler's who like real home filling.

We had a wonderful stay in Bianca's lovely home. It was very comfortable and clean, the backyard and porch were wonderfully relaxing. The kitchen is fully equipped, the kids had oodles of toys to play with, and the drive in to Salzburg was only 15-20 minutes. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

We enjoyed the villa with stunning veranda near Salzburg extreme. The neighbors of Bianca were all very concerned they -da itself was- not there to support our stay. Both the Alpine views as well as the porch and the many children palaces in and around the house made our stay very pleasant.

Bianca and Roland are nice couple! Very clear English, and gave us very good recommendations for restaurants and cheap parking in downtown. I like the whole house decorations, clean everywhere and big field of grass. It is like a villa in China. Quite area and safe. I enjoy the driving from their house to down town of Salzburg. And very nice cake by the way! Highly recommended and will come back one day!
