A lovely luxurious property.

The house is beautiful, and has the wow factor when you walk in. It is modern, luxurious, and well equipped. The underfloor heating and hot tub were amazing! We had a fab relaxing weekend and would definitely go back.

We booked a last minute weekend stay with our two children (aged 7 and 5). Right from the start Julie was quick to reply to messages and was extremely helpful. The house is spotlessly clean and is really well equipped. A beautiful location and a great base for visiting lots of lovely places nearby. The hot tub was just amazing. We will definitely look to return. Highly recommended

Julie is a wonderful host and communicator. The directions were spot on. The property is absolutely pristine. So, so clean and sparkling. So many elegant and thoughtful touches, really made us feel at home. The beds were one of the comfyest I've ever stayed in! And the hot tub, well, just the perfect addition. Thank you so much. The photos of this place don't do justice to the quality of the finish, it really is a gorgeous place. The underfloor heating was so great for the cold days and kept the place so cosy. The kitchen has everything you could need - and the host left us fresh bread, butter and milk which was lovely. There are also robes and toiletries which are such nice touches. The hot tub is AMAZING - very big and goes up to 40 degrees, we were in there on very cold nights and it was perfect. Lastly it was spotlessly clean, and the host was so warm and friendly. Highly highly recommend this place, we will definitely stay here again :)

We were invited to attend a wedding near Glastonbury at the weekend and after searching Airbnb a few weeks ago,I came across Rebecca's cottage listing. So glad we booked to stay here! From our first exchange of emails, she has been nothing short of brilliant! Lovely comfortable cottage in a quaint Somerset village. We did not feel like paying quests, we felt like long time friends invited for the weekend. Nothing too much trouble for Rebecca and breakfast on Sunday morning was like a family affair. Suffice to say, her Superhost status is well deserved! Sara and I have no hesitation in endorsing that award and would happily stay there again. Andy and Sara.

A comfortable home from home

Super friendly host in an very quiet setting. I loved my stay at Rebecca’s cozy cottage and would have stayed more if I could. Hearty homemade breakfast was a plus!

If you are looking for a beautiful, immaculate place to stay in Pilton, look no further. Kelly provides every comfort and amazing hospitality. We traveled with our two adult children to see friends and family in the village. The Old Coach House was perfect for us. The house is very spacious and has areas for entertaining and relaxing. The kitchen is well stocked with all the housewares needed to cook and serve meals including several ways to make coffee! The bathrooms and showers are deluxe. In addition to the washer, there is a dryer which was a very pleasant surprise as often houses have one but not the other. If you are traveling to Pilton for the first time, rely on Kelly for great information about the village and the area. The 20 minute or so walk between the Old Coach House and the village pub is along a lovely lane. You can see Glastonbury Tor in the distance and the green Mendip hills all around you. Kelly and her family made us feel very welcome from the minute we checked-in to when we reluctantly said our goodbyes to our new friends who feel like family. We travel to Pilton often and we look forward to staying at the Old Coach House again and again.

Kelly's place is great, very spacious and clean. It is in a good location and the grounds are very quiet and peaceful. The cottage is very warm when heated and cosy. The Wi-fi works well and it has Sky TV. Kelly is a good host, she was quick to come back with answers to my questions and was very accommodating. Glastonbury and Street are only about 20 mins drive away and cities such as Bath and Bristol are easy for day trips. I would definitely recomend it to anyone looking to stay around the Glastonbury area.

Had a fantastic few days here, highly recommend! Pictures don't do it justice, this is a really large space for a group of friends/couples/family, nice little kitchen area, comfortable sofas/beds and sky tv for movies. Also set in a nice area of rural Somerset for walks but not too far from supermarket. Will definitely return!

Kelly is an amazing host who will respond to any request promptly. Very clean and with everything you will need. I actually thought the place was even nicer than the pictures show, plenty of space for a large family, we will definitely come back.

Kelly is very kind and welcoming. The property is an annex of her home, so she is close by if need be but as it is so large we had plenty of privacy. Her place was very comfortable for us, a family of 4. Our children could do at least 10 forward rolls in a row in the living room! It's within 30 minutes' drive of Longleat and the Cheddar Gorge, and after a day out (in the cold - it was December) we looked forward to retreating to the house and bingeing on Sky TV. We had an amazing time. Thank you!

Everything was as expected from description. Spotlessly clean, stunning location. Lovely private hot tub. We really enjoyed our weekend here. Would have liked to have stayed longer two nights was not enough. A great place to unwind.

Stayed here in February when it was cold and wet and it was perfect. The underfloor heating, lovely light through large windows and evening hot tub dips meant we could happily go off to explore in the day knowing we had warmth and luxury waiting for us. Lots of space for our party of 4 (inc. kids) with open plan living area so we could spend quality time together. Very private so no worries about noise from us or neighbours. Beautiful countryside surroundings. Highly recommended to explore this lovely part of the UK.

What a place! The pictures dont even do the size and extents of this place justice. The host was there to greet us however there is a key safe and we were left in complete privacy after this. There is plenty of space for parking on a nice tarmaced drive which is great after the country roads. The barn is absolutely enormous the windows stretch right to the roof which is like a beautiful old chapel. The space is beautifully decorated and furnished and caters for every need you can think of. The two by far best features are the under floor heating in every single room which can be controlled to set the temperature just right in each room including the bathroom. The second the the spacious hot tub, having been in hot tubs previously I must say this is by far the best at retaining heat providing you follow the advice and keep it covered when not in use. At night the silence is amazing and in the hot tub the privacy is clear where all you can hear is the occasional own hooting. Overall the experience was brilliant and I fully recommend to anyone looking to book in the area.

The barn is finished to a high standard with lovely underfloor heating. Hot tub is very private and has gorgeous views. Gorgeous!

If you want seclusion, peace (bar the odd ‘moo’ from the cow shaped neighbours) and a fantastic getaway, then the Cowshed is a brilliant choice. The kitchen is well equipped for home cooking (which we did on night 1) and Wells offers plenty of restaurant or takeaway choices. Just be aware no one delivers so don’t get in your PJ’s too early if you’re after a lazy night in. My Fiancé and I had a wonderful time with our puppy, walking in the hills and just relaxing on the cosy sofa. Definitely take walking boots. Wi-Fi is great and works for streaming sites and I had full signal the whole time from EE (so maybe worth turning your phone off if you want total peace)! Would highly recommend!

Sebastian and Lizbeth's place is the perfect place for a romantic getaway. The Cowshed is beautifully designed, has everything you could possibly need and the views are stunning. Hosts are warm and helpful. It was an absolutely perfect stay in every way.

The Cow Shed is a delightful retreat and Sebastian has made the place as wonderful as I was expecting it to be. It was lovely to be woken up by the sounds of the birds in the morning as well as opening up the blinds to see such a beautiful view of the rolling Somerset hills below. The Cow Shed was presented in a great condition and was incredibly clean. Don't expect the wifi to be city-like but that's just fine with me as I didn't go to the countryside to watch films and tv! It had everything you could need in the kitchen, and the White Company toiletries and locally-sourced welcome package were really lovely additions. If you want a break away from the city life, and a great base to explore the Somerset and Dorset area (I visited Wells, Glastonbury, Frome, Bridport, Lym Regis and West Bay!) Thank you Sebastian!

Book and relax. The pre airbnb arrival worries soon dissipate within minutes. Take food and drink for at least your first evening because you won't want to leave to sit inside a pub. Fab view from sofa, bed, bath and kitchen table. Loved watching the cows having fun across the way. Tinto, the springer spaniel and we had the best sleep.... keep the curtains open for the most magical dawn. Download O.S. Map App, if you haven't already, walk from the Cow Shed and explore the area for miles to make that bottle of cider taste even better...

This renovated cowshed is a countryside idyll. It could have been renovated yesterday- it is so fresh and clean. We loved the little touches on arrival - like a pot of chocolates and a loaf of fresh bread. Really well stocked kitchen. All you need for a short break away. We could spend hours just enjoying the fabulous views. Was lovely to meet and chat with Sebastian as well. Highly recommend a walk around the Glastonbury festival site if you have a dog and are Glasto geeks like us! We will almost certainly be back.

We went to the Cowshed for NYE and had a lovely stay. Followed the sat nav directions and found it easily. The barn has been really lovingly restored and there is a beautiful bedroom and living room with stunning views out over the countryside 👍🏻

What a lovely place! It is very quaint, set in beautiful countryside and has lots of amenities nearby. The place was all ready when we arrived, as described and spotless. Dee communicated and we knew we could contact her if we needed anything. We had a great time visiting Cheddar and Wells. There is lots of choices of places to eat and drink nearby. We will definitely book again!

I wish I could keep the Piggery my secret place, but I like Dee and her family too much to not write a review! Dee was an incredibly kind and generous host and the Piggery was the perfect place for my two week R&R. The interior is light and beautiful and I loved my view of the apple orchard and surrounding countryside. It is also very close to Glastonbury. This was my second stay in the Piggery and I'm already looking forward to going back again!

We had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed it. The space was peaceful, quiet and in a lovely location tucked away in the countryside close to Glastonbury. Everything we needed was catered for and Dee provided prompt and helpful responses to questions. The views over the peaceful countryside are beautiful and the air is wonderfully fresh, especially first thing in the morning. We loved the warm, cozy and comfortable space and will absolutely stay there again on any future visit to the area.

We really had a great stay at Dee’s place, which is ideally located for Glastonbury, Wells, Bruton and Shepton Mallet. The Piggery is in a fabulous spot, very private with views across the farmland, we were lucky enough to see the lambs grazing right outside our door. Dee is a great host, really friendly and making sure we had everything we needed, including some great restaurant suggestions. Our dog was welcomed by all the family and most importantly we could relax! Thank you for a lovely, friendly welcome, great tips on where to go and for making sure we had everything we needed. We will be back Dee!

A really charming and peaceful location, 3 minute walk to Pennard House if you are attending an event there. Lovely to wake up and all you can hear are the birds. We loved the stay here and enjoyed 2 nights without the telly too! Super shower, bedding, heating if you need it and the small kitchen great for knocking up a meal or two.

We had the most fantastic weekend away here, have recommended this place to everybody. The pool was incredible, the barn spacious and beautifully decorated - a very relaxing stay. Would definitely love to come back!

Enjoyed a perfect anniversary getaway. If you're looking for a homely space to enjoy some peace and quiet out of the city we couldn't recommend higher. It felt like our own little place the the countryside. Was everything we hoped and more.

Cottage is situated down a country lane in a peaceful location. We arrived end of November, with frosty , cold days. Cottage was adequately heated, with hot water always available. Very comfortable beds, with clean linen and towels. The only slight difficulty was the postcode. The correct postcode is shown on booking receipt from Airbnb. We did make Andrew aware of this. Would certainly use again.

Great base to explore Somerset over the Easter holiday. Hosts made us very welcome and it was a wrench to leave.

The Cottage is lovely. The owners have made the placve their own with things that they love and have kindly let others in to share. It's a wonderful space for a couple and with touches like sonos it adds to the atmosphere. Communications with Darren and Nic was superb throughout. THe kitchen is one of the best equipped for a rental we have seen. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautifully restored cottage. Warm and welcoming, we arrived for a Christmas get away to a house with a thoughtfully constructed Christmas tree and an array of small gifts! Definitely ranks as the best AirBnb experience I have ever had.

This cute and cosy cottage is a perfect idyllic get away. With an enclosed front and back garden it was perfect for the dog. The kitchen is so well equipped-you will not want for anything if cooking up a meal after a long walk. The cider that was kindly left by Darren went down well! I loved the stylish touches in the cottage and the wood burning fire was a perfect way to end the day on this cold weekend.

Debbie is a great host and makes you feel very welcome and at home. It’s a lovely and clean apartment to stay in with thoughtful touches such as fancy breakfast cereals, eggs and milk and luxury products in the bathroom. Excellent location being in the Glastonbury festival sight and short drives to Wells, Glastonbury town, the Tor and Cheddar Gorge. At times there can be potent farm smells but you can buy a pack of incense sticks from Glastonbury in most shops!

Debbie’s place is lovely and clean. My Mum, two sisters and I stayed there for the weekend. We loved the little touches such as home made bread, fresh unpasteurised milk and organic jam. The Loft was spotlessly clean. We had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic location, not far from Glastonbury Village, The Tor and the Chalice Well Gardens. What a wonderful place. The Loft is light and airy as well as peaceful and tranquil. The decor, furniture, and little extras made it really special. WE LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Such a gorgeous, cute, quirky wagon and the most beautiful garden! The perfect little getaway, a local pub at the top of the road with lush ale, Glastonbury a very short drive away... just wonderful. And and Sandy are both so lovely too and were so sweet - balloons and cake. Such thoughtful touches. A "weekend" away we so needed, thankyou. We can't wait to go back! Xxx

We felt VERY welcome and at home with Andy and Sandy! There were 3 of us girls and we were volunteering all week with kids so we were pretty exhausted every eve but Andy and Sandy made our week as easy as possibly, blessed us many times with their generosity and kindness, needless to say we'll be going back again, even if just for cuppa and a Catch up! Their garden is beautiful, plants everywhere and a little stream running through it, quite ideal! They are very relaxed and easy going and would probably go the extra mile to make your stay as enjoyable as possible! I highly recommend these guys!

We had a great time staying in Andy and Sandy's fabulous bow top caravan. The caravan is beautiful, cosy and set in a gorgeous picture postcard cottage garden. Andy and Sandy were lovely, helpful, accommodating, and full of positive energy. Pilton is a pretty village in a wonderful part of England, we would certainly recommend it.

We had the most amazing few days in Pilton Paradise. We arrived on the Saturday morning to a lovely clean caravan, complete with little pot of milk for our little kettle! Andy met us afterwards to give us a grand tour and talk us through everything. It was so much better than we had expected - we had access to the whole of their gorgeous garden, complete with fire pit and lots of seating. It was lovely at night with all of the fairy lights on! During the few days we explored the local area - we managed to accidentally go during the Pagan festival of Beltane which was absolutely incredible, and we would highly recommend anyone going if your May Day bank holiday is free - we even managed to see Michael Eavis driving around in his Landrover! Andy and his wife were incredibly welcoming, we got on so well, we really didn't want to leave! We've still got a list of things we didn't manage to do so we will definitely be back!!!

We wanted an Easter weekend break and this was just perfect. Andy and Sadie were perfect hosts and couldn't have been more accommodating. It was a beautiful wagon, on wonderful gardens and in a lovely area. My two little girls had an Easter egg hunt and they absolutely enjoyed it. Thank you for making our weekend magical - we loved it and will be back ;)

What a fantastic venue! We had a lovely 2 days in the caravan, it was perfectly provided for, with everything thought of, we couldn't think of anything that was missing. Lovely greeting and we felt well looked after by the host's friend. The caravan was warm enough and comfortable, we'll definitely be back again.

andy and sandy were great hosts and made us feel very welcome. the caravan was superb, and everything we were looking for. the weather was wet and the caravan offered us a cosy and welcome retreat from the rain. the facilities were great and the gardens offered us a real place to relax. we were away with our 3 yr old who loved running around the garden. a place to really relax with great hosts and amazing accommodation. a wonderful find and a place we would absolutely recommend to anyone.

Great place in a nice quiet area. Only a short drive away from Pilton, Wells, Glastonbury etc. So great for a central point for a Somerset getaway. Gillian was lovely. Arrived to a home-baked loaf of bread and cake, which was a great touch :)

The Barn Owl is a great place to stay. Lots of nice touches and very friendly host.

On arrival at Barn Owl Friars Farm we found the place stocked with freshly baked goods for tea as well as breakfast supplies for the morning which was a great touch. Gillian met us on arrival and made us feel at home as well as being very forthcoming with loads of information on the surrounding area and towns. We found the cottage vey comfortable and enjoyed our stay.

Gillian’s space is a perfect little hideaway and just what I needed after a long weekend. I genuinely couldn’t have asked for more in terms of communication, cleanliness and amenities. The location is also beautiful. They don’t give an option to rate your host but Gillian definitely gets five stars! Wonderfully attentive and helpful but also left me to do my own thing which I really appreciated. I would highly recommend a stay here and will definitely return.

Great camping. Really felt comfortable.

Pilton Hill Camping is very highly recommended if you want to get away from the main festivities onsite at Glastonbury. 5 of us stayed here for the week (2015) in a tent as well as two other family members in a camper van and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The clean, hot showers were amazing (perfect pressure and temperature and plenty of room). Toilets were kept clean every day (thanks to Paddy and his lovely family) and a map was provided courtesy of our hosts daughter so we were able to find our way around really well. We will definitely use this camp site again.

You will find a great place to stay, in a convenient area, with a very comfortable bed, sofa and brilliant shower. You will want for nothing!

Jenny's place is absolutely beautiful. We stayed at The Linhay for a wedding at nearby Pennard House and in the end walked the brief 25 minutes there on foot as it was so easy. The house is sparkling clean and really comfortably furnished - we found the bed super comfy and the huge selection of books and DVDs perfect for unwinding after a day travelling. The garden area for guests is beautiful and we loved sitting there to take in the surroundings. The kitchen has everything you'd need and Jenny was really kind in leaving milk, bread and jam out for us, alongside cider and one morning, a bowl of raspberries from the garden. If we are ever in Somerset again we would stay in a heartbeat! Places like this make Airbnb brilliant. Thank you!

This has to be one of our favourite Airbnbs that we've stayed at. Bright and airy and so stylishly furnished - it was a treat to be there. Thoughtful touches like bread and ciders for our arrival were lovely and the big TV, lots of books and a great speaker system also made our stay. Great info on things to do in the local area. We also didn't really get a chance to use it but there was a lovely area of the garden specifically for Linhay guests with a beautiful view - the dining table at the Linhay also has a beautiful view. We had the most comfortable and relaxing stay and would 100% return - 2 nights was not enough!

Outstanding little gem set in the beautiful Somerset countryside. The location was perfect for my little family to visit Wells, Glastonbury, Longleat Safari and Cheddar Gorge and local National artist properties. The teepee itself had everything you would need for a comfy glamping stay. It really was home from home and spotlessly clean as well as beautiful . Needless to say we didn't want to come home! X

We chose to see in the new year at this lovely airstream caravan. With the wood burning stove going AND an electric heater it was incredibly toasty in there. We brought a fire pit for outside too so we could see the stars (albeit quite cloudy over the course of our stay, still lovely to be immersed in nature!) this place is great for a cosy winter getaway, with fabulous walks all around, but I can imagine amazing in the summer especially. Thanks to Venetia’s dad, Martin, for being on hand during our stay and for local tips.

Do this - you will not regret it & you will come away having had fun, rested and relaxed having stayed in one of the best places . It’s beautiful , has great facilities and is in a stunning location within easy reach of places to visit on adventures . We had everything we and our dog needed. It’s quirky but so lovely. Warm shower , comfy bed and a lovely fire pit fire under the stars - we cooked jacket spuds in the pit & it was the best .

We came to stay for a few nights escape from London with our little toddler and we loved it, it's such a unique space and so nice to be out in the countryside. We'll be recommending to friends and family!

A large 7 bedroom house with plenty of bathrooms, good size kitchen / dining room, and a comfy lounge with a great log burner.

I recommend this accommodation if you have a large group, we were a group of 15 and the accommodation was easily big enough

Excellent house for a big get together. It has everything you could possibly need. Gordon is so friendly and helpful. We loved our weekend away here. There were 7 of us and it didn’t feel overcrowded at all.

We had a great stay at Gordon's house. There was 9 of us plus two babies and we felt we had plenty of space. It's an old creaky house but it was warm, full of character and we enjoyed using the Aga and the wood burner. Would recommend.

Lovely family home with lots of space. Great location and perfect for Glastonbury. Gordon met us when we arrived and showed us round. Kindly left basic provisions and a box of chocolates. We would certainly consider staying again.

The Long House was perfectly charming for a weekend break with family. The living space was the right size and really sociable. Gordon was a fab host, meeting us there and showing us round and sending tips and hints of things to do whilst in Pilton. We visited Glastonbury Frost Fest which was just brilliant in everyway. We’d certainly stay again.

Gordon's place was great. Although he was unable to be there when we arrived he made excellent arrangements with a local to let us in. The place is full of character and and while homely didn't feel like you were invading someone else's home! Excellent supply of interesting books and games to enjoy! There were lots of thoughtful touches like flowers in the rooms and some chocs. Thank You.

This place was an amazing find. We were looking for somewhere to stay so we could watch the Glastonbury Carnival, location was brilliant. Our party of 10, equal mix of adults and children loved this property, it had a homely and relaxed feel. On arrival the host met us and took us on a tour and explained everything we needed to know. The house is well equipped with everything you need. Extra touches like cheese and fresh milk in the fridge were an added bonus. The house had beautiful flowers dotted around and there is an abundance of things to look at and use. (Huge chest full of board games, musical instruments and other curiosities) The kitchen has everything you need, the aga was a new experience but don’t let this sway you, there is also an electric hob and an all singing all dancing microwave. The house is over 3 floors and as it states the stairs are steep so not suitable for everyone but these didn’t cause our party a problem, the youngest guest was 6yrs old. I would highly recommend this property.

An absolutely amazing place to stay, the pictures dont do it justice! A group of 12 of use stayed for the weekend for caving and a night of BBQing. Everyone had a great time and the house was an excellent place to have as a base. I would honest recommend this place to anyone looking to visit the Mendips or surrounding area.

Harriet’s Place was perfect. It is such a lovely house with lots of space and a gorgeous garden. It was clean and tidy with amazing interiors. Harriet, you have an AMAZING home! We attended for the weekend for my mums surprise 70th birthday and my sister had her 31st birthday to celebrate also. There was no concern with an earlier check in, directions were clear and the maps harriet sent were very helpful. Harriet have a number of ideas where we could go for food/ activities during the weekend. The house is very big and very beautiful. They have a children’s play room with a vast array of toys for ages aprox 2-12. The kitchen is huge the gardens are well looked after. We did have some trouble using the aga, followed instructions but it just seemed to take a long time to heat- never the less this didn’t stop us as we got the BBQ out in the rain. Everyone enjoyed themselves and my first AirBnB was a success. Thank you for all your help ensuring things went smoothly! Hannah

This house is the perfect weekend getaway. Lots to explore in the local area, we visited nearby Glastonbury and Cheddar. The house itself is in a lovely tranquil village with beautiful walks all around. I wish I could have stayed longer. Thank you Hattie for our stay.

Beautiful house with everything you need, wether a group of friends or family. There are so many different spaces in the house and garden to relax, or socialise..you will not want to leave!!

What a lovely stay we had. The house is indeed big and beautiful, with plenty of space for family time or solitude. Everything was wonderfully clean and there was plenty of bedding and ‘basics’. Particularly great if you have good weather when you visit as the gardens are gorgeous and plentiful. Everyone had fun with the stilts and foozeball table! Good for kids and adults alike.

Incredible space and amazing value! Were some issues with the heating during our stay but, other than that, everything was perfect! Highly recommend. Please note: low ceilings throughout the space.

The cottage is lovely and cosy with all the necessary facilities and more. The location is peaceful and quiet but only a short drive from the local town. We attended a wedding at Pennard House which was only a 10 minute drive away. Kate was a great host and easily contactable to answer any questions.

The cottage was perfect for a weekend with all the family. We were at a wedding at Pennard House and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Less than 5 mins walk down a quiet country lane to the venue. The cottage was cosy and spacious and ideal for a family gathering. All the beds were really comfy and the whole place had a great laid back Somerset feel.

We had a great time at this Airbnb and enjoyed the thoughtful touches (milk, granola etc). We stayed here for a wedding at Pennard House and the location was ideal!

Went to a wedding at Pennard house and Frances place could not have been better, 2-5 minute walk maximum. We were two small families and two couples and we absolutely loved this house. Perfect location, beautiful and lovely rooms and living spaces. The communication was quick and very helpful. We felt more like family then guests. Thank you so so much. Can recommend this place for anyone.

Easy to find , plenty of parking. Real character cottage, loads of room. Was very clean and had everything you need also tea coffee butter etc provided. It was like sharing a home for the stay as opposed to simply stating in a house. Would highly recommend.
