Welcome to Sammalkallio's attic! Here you will stay in a spacious studio upstairs in the garage, with views of the forest and fields. The apartment has a well-equipped kitchenette, as well as a bathroom and a dining area. You'll sleep well in a high-quality double bed. In winter, the wood-fired stove provides warmth and atmosphere, and in summer, the air heat pump provides coolness. You can also rent two sup boards from us for 30 euros/day/board. Possibility to accommodate 1-2 people on an extra mattress.

The beautiful windows and other architectural details give the house an unique atmosphere. The house is decorated with solid old wooden furniture, many of them handmade. There are two fireplaces in the house. Outside the master bedroom there is a sunny balcony. The building is surrounded by majestetic pine-trees and maples. In the outbuiling there is a sauna and a small terrace.

Seafarers and hatmakers have since 1880s enjoyed life on the property where an old stable and cabin were transformed into modern living in the 70s. We are located just 4 km from the well-known Fiskars village. You can easily walk, drive or bike there and we offer bikes for you to use for free. The wood-fired traditional sauna, which is freely available to tenants, offers deep and humid saunas.
