  • Such wonderful people, so friendly and made our stay absolutely a very special moment. While being winter we BBQ with a beautiful view of the lake while the team provided us with fire wood and a glass of wine watching the beautiful lake with peace and quiet. Absolutely a awesome true moment i will be back for summer.

  • Stayed here for our first trip to Crater Lake. Our stay was great in the guest house. The check in was easy since they called us with instructions. We arrived to the heater already warming the place up and the lights on. It was super clean and the room has been updated very nicely. The bathroom was like a nice hotel bathroom. and there were some nice touches, like plenty of towels, some natural shampoo and a comfy rug. The bed was clean and comfortable. The huge window opens up facing the lake (can see parts of it) and let in the beautiful sunrise! Loved that they allowed our pup, were super friendly when we met them the next day and how quiet and secluded it was.

  • Such a nice place to stay and enjoy the NP!

    Tongge2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • I can highly recommend this place. The appartment is rustic but very clean and the bathroom looks newly renovated. There is also a little shop and a restaurant on site. The location at the lake is so beautiful and perfect if you are looking for a quiet place close to the nature. We visited crater lake but there is so much more you can do. We would have liked to stay longer!

    Sabrina2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • The staff was kind and helpful. The bed was very comfortable. And the plethora of free movies to choose from was a nice touch. I wish we had more time to go paddle boating in the marsh.

  • Great place to stay if visiting Crater Lake!

    Talia2019-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • Great place for a simple, relaxing time at Klamath! Sooo close to Crater and wonderful canoeing on site! We had an amazing breakfast at JJ’s in Chilloquin and then enjoyed an unbelievably amazing dinner of Cod and Salmon for dessert at the restaurant there on site at Rocky Point Resort!

    Olivia2019-07-19T00:00:00Z
  • Loved staying here! It was quiet, clean and beautiful. The morning sunrise over the lake is a must if you’re staying here. The woman in the store was so kind & friendly and Esther was super flexible with my schedule and communication was seamless. If you love to listen to the sounds of nature, watch birds & eagles, go fishing or take a kayak out, this is the place!

  • Great spot to camp with a beautiful view! Would have been nicer to stay in warmer weather though! The showers were good!

  • This place is great. They have all the amenities you need, shower, bathrooms, food, etc. the camping sites are right on the lake with a ton of space. So beautiful. You can kayak on the lake and start a fire in the pit. Would love to come back!

    Christopher2019-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • Nice campsite right by the lake. Lots of activities and good restroom/shower facilities nearby. Our only quip was that the host person was completely unresponsive to our messages on Airbnb. This was easily resolved with a call to the resort themselves who were very responsive and helpful.

    Christian2019-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • 100/10 recommend!! Beautiful camping right on the lake. Amazing staff, so friendly and helpful! Bring bug spray since you are camping on a still body of water, there are a ton of mosquitoes and bugs.

    Madison2019-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • It’s a campsite next to a swamp. Like Minnesota with mountains. Surrounded by beautiful pine forests. Wildlife is amazing and varied. From jumping trout, red tailed hawks, pelicans, coyote & swallows. The area has a lot to do and see. Bike riding on and off road. Kayaking. Fishing. Crater Lake. Amazing sunrise and sunset. There is a restaurant with pretty good food. The people are inviting. The area is quiet not a good place to party.

    Jim2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • This was such a cozy spot to camp with access to a shower and bathroom. I was right on the lake. The open sky made the stars and moon form a spectacular view. Definitely will stay again!

    Erica2019-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent spot for a weekend camping trip, only a short drive to Crater Lake! Yep there’s mosquitos, but that’s to be expected staying outdoors by a lake so we were well prepared with bug spray. Esther was extremely quick to respond when we had a bit of trouble checking in and the campsite spot was absolutely glorious, waking up to beautiful sunrises across the lake. The campsites are extremely close together, so not great for any light sleepers out there, and there are not cooking grills on all the fire pits, so bring some foil for hot pots! Having the restaurant nearby was great (we grabbed some wine for our campfire) and overall had a fantastic stay!!

Want to get away from the crowds? Located at the end of a dead-end road the cabin sits on the eastern edge of the Cascade Mountain range. This is a great get-a-way spot and is close to Crater Lake National Park and hundreds of miles of hiking and mountain biking trails. This is also a great location for motorcycles, ATVs and snowmobiles. Park your trailer and ride from the cabin to hundreds of miles of Oregon's best snowmobile and off-road vehicle trails, you only have to unload once.
There is a hammock where you can read a book and listen to the gentle breeze blowing through the pine trees. If you forgot your book don't worry, there's plenty of books. The cabin has three decks attached to it where you can set up a chair and enjoy the peaceful calm of mother nature. The open beam ceilings and rustic feel of the cabin make it a special place you'll love. There are lots of activities nearby including: Crater Lake National Park, Lake of the Woods Resort, Rocky Point Resort, Harriman Springs Lodge, Crater Lake Zipline, and hundreds of miles of hiking, mountain biking, and ATV & motorcycle trails. The resorts offer kayak, canoe, and pontoon boat rentals so you may enjoy the beauty of Southern Oregon from the water. There are plenty of fun activities , and all are just a short drive from the cabin. Whether you visit the majestic beauty of Crater Lake, or just spend your days in the hammock this is a great get-a-way spot.
The cabin sits at the end of a dead-end road and is very quiet. Tall pine trees surround the cabin and add to the beauty and rustic feel. There are three resorts with restaurants and rentals within a ten minute drive or less. You can soar through the trees on Oregon's longest zipline at Crater Lake ZipLine, just a two minute drive away. See the beauty of Southern Oregon by hiking the Mountain Lakes Wilderness area just a 10 minute drive away. If you have ATVs, dirt bikes, or snowmobiles you can ride right from the cabin to hundreds of miles or trails.
  • This cabin is adorable and cozy. A few friends and I (5 total) stayed for two nights to celebrate my birthday and take a trip to Crater Lake for a free snow shoe tour, and also swung down to California to see the Lava Beds. We got lucky for a beautiful weather weekend in February. The house comfortably fit all of us, though the full-size (double) bed in the bedroom is a bit of a tight squeeze for two people, one being a pretty tall person. We brought our own bedroom fan because I need white noise to sleep. The queen-size air mattress for the couch pull out unfortunately had a leak, but the owner is aware of this and I believe plans to fix it. We had our own spare air mattress. The twin-size pull out chair was really comfortable according to our single friend who slept on it both nights. Finding the place with the written directions wasn’t too difficult, but we did make a wrong turn the first time and in the dark it was a little confusing. Providing a “pin” with coordinates may be helpful to bypass the issue of the address not navigating properly in Maps. Also worth noting that it is a bit of a drive (30 mins or so) from the cabin to Klamath Falls, and the nearby market closes kinda early. Also if you want to play your own music on speakers, there is a stereo in the living room (old school CD boom box) that has an Aux output, but if you have the latest models of iPhone you will need the dongle that will allow you to plug your phone into the Aux port. Or, just bring a Bluetooth speaker. The kitchen is spacious with a nice dining area. The whole cabin is very well lit. There’s a selection of some DVDs and quite a lot of VHS tapes, but I didn’t see a VHS player. Movies are mostly family films. We brought one of our own horror DVDs to watch one of the nights. There was a recycling bin outside that we used for recyclables, but it wasn't for glass. We weren't sure what to do with glass bottles. Overall, we had an excellent time and would definitely recommend this place to others. It was so beautiful and cozy, and the best place I could ask for to have spent my birthday with friends.

  • Nice little cabin in the snow. Had everything we needed. Lots of blankets and pillows for the pull out couches. Nice pellet stove that really warmed the place up.

  • Amazing place to stay at!

    Ola2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great few days at David’s place. It is nice and cozy and the perfect weekend gateway.

    Alina2019-12-24T00:00:00Z
  • David’s cabin is a little bit of paradise! It’s comfortable and cozy and full of fun things to do on cold or rainy days and surrounded by endless nature and hiking for good weather days. It’s a little gem!

    Stacy2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • If you want a break from doing regular life stuff and unplug a bit in a quite beautiful pocket of woods in Klamath falls this is the perfect place to do so! This little getaway cabin is such a cozy perfect spot. The pellet stove was perfect! The pull out couch in the living room was very comfortable, the kitchen is so beautifully updated and I loved the fact that there was no WiFi so that I wasn’t even tempted to look at my phone. The fairly short drive up to Crater Lake was so much fun and completely worth the entire trip! I will ABSOLUTELY be staying here again! David is THE BEST!

    Katie2019-12-10T00:00:00Z
  • Hidden gem in a beautiful forest! We arrived around 8p on a Friday evening after a serious snow storm and 3 hours of treacherous driving conditions. Needless to say we were ready to unwind and relax. Once we opened the door of the cabin we were soooo happy! David had turned the heat on for us earlier in the day and the pellet fireplace was lit and toasty for us. The cabin was super clean, had all the amenities one would need to enjoy a quiet and relaxing weekend. We utilized the kitchen quite a bit and our son utilized the Xbox quite a bit. There was a little convenience store just a couple miles away as well as the Crater Lake Zipline attraction and Camp McLoughlin which we hiked into on Saturday afternoon. Lots to do or not if you just want to relax. We will definitely be back!

  • This is a beautiful slice of heaven in the middle of the forest. If you want to commune with nature, you will love this place.

  • Inexpensive place right on the lake with boat rental and plenty of outdoor cooking spaces. No TV reception buy a great selection of DVD's.

    Sara2019-06-07T00:00:00Z
  • This is a quaint spot that has some beautiful views! Wish we had had longer to kayak up the trail and see all the birds

    Tara2019-05-31T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful area that is great proximity to Crater lake and the southern cascades.

    Markus2019-04-21T00:00:00Z
  • Esther's place was lovely. She left light and heat on for us as we were arriving late. Also msged to make sure we wouldn't miss the amazing sunrise in the morning(although we did slept through it). Location couldn't be better. It's right by the dock if you enjoy some lakeside walking and only 40mins drive to Crater lake.

    Yimeng2019-03-30T00:00:00Z
  • Esther was such an awesome, responsive host. The bedroom with its own private bathroom was exactly like a hotel so it was very clean. The place is situated within a campground and the room is not more than 150ft from the lake. Esther recommended to wake up early and catch the sunrise - wow what a beautiful sight it was and how right she was! I only wish we stayed longer to enjoy more of the views. If you’re in the area, I’d highly recommend Esthers place. I know I’d surely book with her again once I go back.

  • Great little escape cabin!

    Rey2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • I sooo enjoyed my stay in Cabin 1 at Rocky Point! The cabin, the common outdoor space, the waterfront, and the restaurant were all a total treat. This place is a gem! If you're internet-dependent, there's free wifi as well as faster wifi that you can pay $5 per day for. Getting the password and paying to upgrade aren't automatic, so don't wait till after-hours to attempt logging in or upgrading. Verizon LTE coverage in the area is also excellent. If you're feeling sociable I highly recommend grabbing a beer and chit-chatting with locals and other guests at the restaurant bar in the evening, very friendly scene! I look forward to coming back!

    Andy2019-09-12T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful setting on the lake and among tent and RV camp sites. Not a bad drive to Crater Lake and lots of hiking and water sports in this area. Esther and her staff were great! There was a camp store with a few snacks, including s’mores ingredients, and you can pick up some camp wood there.

    Jessica2019-07-18T00:00:00Z
  • Nice cabin with kitchen, and right on the water. Would stay again!

    Daniel2019-06-02T00:00:00Z
  • Rocky Point Resort was a dream come true! My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by the great amenities of the property and amazing lake-front views. Once we arrived, Esther was there to greet us and check us in to our cabin. She continued to be an incredibly hospitable host throughout our stay. We enjoyed the rustic-style cabin and took advantage of both the on-site restaurant and eat-in kitchen. Looking forward to fishing during our next stay!

    Sarah2019-05-29T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing place to enjoy with family, close to crater lake and there are many amenities to enjoy. There is a very nice restaurant too.

    Jesica2018-07-20T00:00:00Z
  • Definitely stay more than a single night! This place has beautiful kayaking, great fishing, an onsite Restaurant, a well stocked bar, and equipment rentals. The cabin itself was very nice, a little cramped but you hopefully won't be in there much anyways.

    Erik2018-07-11T00:00:00Z
  • This was a beautiful stay, made perfect largely due to Esther’s incredible hospitality. She was quick to assist us anytime we needed help, checked in whenever she saw us around the site, she was lenient and friendly and made the entire experience so much more incredible. When it rained on our canoe trip she was happy to let us try again at a later time with no charge (which we did the following day). We showed up late at night and due to no service I couldn’t contact her during our drive - she was a step ahead of me, leaving the key for us and all the information we needed about the cabin. What an incredible management/host experience! The cabin was small, quaint, and perfectly sized for 2 (or in our case, my boyfriend and our two very close friends - it worked out great, but I would advise people to be aware that it’s pretty tight quarters if you’re not all familiar!). It was just a few steps from a store, a restaurant, and the docks. The only downside were the mosquitos that came in through cracks in screens etc - but they’re to be expected anywhere you go! Definitely bring bug spray as you’re by some slower moving water. We ate breakfast at a restaurant overlooking the water (beautiful) and the entire site was so perfect. The canoe trail is gorgeous, and the store has any basic thing you might need! Esther was also quick to know where to go for some emergency motor oil for my old car, which was unexpectedly low - thankful for her knowing the nearby market we drove to! The site was so secluded but with a small campground feel - we were never lacking anything we needed and I always felt welcomed and comfortable! You could see the water through the trees / beyond the storefront from the cabin, and cute chubby chipmunks were all over - too precious. There was a fire pit outside and we enjoyed our drinks and games on the patio picnic table. Finally, we got to see pelicans and all kinds of incredible birds on our camping trip - such a fun experience! A 2 hour minimum at about 50 bucks for the 2 hours, it was completely worth it. I think that covers the gist of it. We plan on returning for a 5 day trip next year if we can afford it - thank you for the amazing experience!

  • Loved Laura’s place. She’s an amazing host. The place is really beautiful with a great view of the mountain. The room is really clean and nicely decorated with a cowboy theme. Would love to visit again.

  • Laura's place is set in a beautiful location; peaceful and surrounded by mountains on all sides. The room itself was also spotlessly clean and very nicely furnished. Kayce communicated with us during our stay and even baked us some cookies fresh-from-the-oven to welcome us when we arrived! We loved our stay there and would recommend it without hesitation. Thanks Laura and Kayce for your hospitality!

  • Our stay at Laura's was a perfect stopover for us on a long drive from Washington to California. We really enjoyed this clean, cozy and stylish space. We sat on the porch in the brisk morning air and drank coffee and looked out over the beautiful scenery in perfect country quiet. We met Kayce, (Laura's daughter who takes care of the apartment) in the morning when we were packing up to leave and she was very friendly. • Laura’s place is a dream! The most gorgeous location, generous hospitality, and impressively furnished. It was the best Air BnB experience I’ve ever had!

  • We stayed here for a quick site visit to Klamath Falls, and easy access to Crater Lake NP. It's a very quiet, beautiful location. The apartment was extremely clean and very comfortable. For those w/ time in the area, there was also a beautiful hike to to the top of Gearhart Mtn near Bly (a bit more than an hour away). We enjoyed talking to Kayce while there as well. There's a nice drive in the State Forest across and up the road a bit - which was easily accessible w/ a standard 2wd vehicle.

Situated within 30 miles from beautiful Crater Lake National Park. Private space with gorgeous views of Agency Lake and the Crater Lake Caldera. Experience a touch of hobby ranching and maybe even get up early enough to help milk the family cow. (No milking available in the winter months)
Picturesque views, quiet surroundings, pond and picnic areas to enjoy.
One of the closest places to stay before Crater Lake National Park and Skylakes Wilderness areas.
  • The cabin was very cozy, warm, and comforting. A nice place to relax after a long day of exploring the surrounding countryside. Jonathan and his family have a lovely place and it was nice to enjoy a small taste of their little paradise. Gorgeous views from right out the front door and the sunset from the hot tub was beautiful. Will come again!

  • The apartment is great!!! Very organized, clean and accommodating with several amenities; from a flat screen TV, DVDs, books, and plenty of information on the local area. It is clear that a lot of love and care has gone into the apartment, and you feel that when you stay there. Staying in the winter there is plenty of heat and hot water, which is great if you go out hiking around Wood River or Agency Lake. It really had everything my husband and I needed for a weekend get-away, and although we did not get a chance to use the grill, we look forward to a return stay in order to do so; perhaps this summer. Jonathan is a fantastic host. Anytime we needed to reach him, he was available immediately with a response or answer to our question. We highly recommend this property for those looking for a peaceful get-away in the area!

  • We didn’t get to stay long, but we loved the space and Jonathan was very easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend!

  • Great for a group of 4 and the closest you can be to Crater Lake without the coveted reservation at the park Lodge. One note would be to bring in food to cook in the evenings since the closest decent restaurant is 40 minutes away. We did get amazing sandwiches at the deli at the local grocery store (Family Food Center) to take with us to Crater Lake.

  • Amazing, clean cabin! Right by the water, the resort staff the cabin is located in are extremely friendly and welcoming. We arrived at the Airbnb quite late but Esther was very accommodating. Very nice place, wished we stayed longer!

    Katrina2019-07-04T00:00:00Z
  • Family of 5 travels from afar. I contacted Esther via the Airbnb app and she called within minutes to help me. Knowing that we’d be later than 8pm (when the restaurant closes) and hungry, she offered to have some food made from the restaurant to have ready for us. Such an awesome touch and so thoughtful!!! The cabin was clean and just what we needed passing thru on our way to Seattle. Would definitely stay here again!

  • Thank thank you so much for a wonderful vacation with my family. Kenny was incredibly helpful, especially when there was a problem with the upstairs toilet and pellet stove, and then again when I got stuck in the snow on the driveway the day we left. Kenny came to the rescue both times fixing problems that previous tenants left. My sister and I also enjoyed a nice hike with the neighbor Jimmy and his friend, even though we weren't sure who they were at first. All in all it was an incredible place and we hope to return again in the summer and make use of the river and kayaking supplies.

    Tori2018-12-24T00:00:00Z
  • The cutest cabin!! The land is phenomenal. If you want some time away- go here. Responses were quick and helpful. The caretaker was such a help, as we arrive during the first snow and needed some guidance on what to do! The entertainment amenities are dated- so make sure to bring your own viewing items if you’re having a quiet night in! What’s also great about this place is you have access to the one way to crater lake that is open ALL year round. It’s private and gorgeous. Will definitely be coming here again.

    Mariam2018-12-02T00:00:00Z

  • Angela’s place is in the woods and is a wonderful home to come to while visiting the near by national parks (her home is 1hr-1.5hrs from crater lake and lava beds). Super convenient but also away from things to feel like your camping in comfort. She was great at offering tips for the area that helped us enjoy our new surrounding. The house has all the little things you needed that might have not been packed. And we felt right at home. We look forward to visiting again one day!

  • The cabin is a perfect place to get away. It was a great place for us since crater lake was a must! The location was so close. There was also so many other nature adventures within close range. Angela was very helpful and quick to answer messages. The house has lots of amenities ready for you to use. We loved our stay there.

  • 40-50 min drive ( during winter ) to beautiful crater lake, about 80 min drive to waterfalls and hikes. The house is welcoming and well equipped. Not much to do in the little town itself though (unless you check out the casino)

    Inna2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • This place is awesome. A very small town but everyone is super nice. They have a gentleman named Doug who shoveled the sidewalk after it snowed. He was such a nice guy. Loved the fire pit by the river. Couldn’t have asked more. Ken and Angie are on top of immunization and being clear on things. Loved the value for the place.

John was incredibly accommodating for us while we were dealing with a car accident we had while visiting with him. Despite the headaches involved with that, we still had an enjoyable stay in Oregon and our visit to Crater Lake. I'll be back if I visit the area again!

  • Very clean and well taken care of. Good location. Well stocked. Good communication with the owner. As advertised.

    Mike2019-10-29T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our five days at Running Y. The house has been impeccably maintained and was very clean. My husband is hiking the Pacific Crest Trail, and greatly appreciated the very deep soaking tub in the master bathroom. Internet was the fastest we've seen so far, which is great for uploading videos he takes as he hikes. The little grocery store in the resort is great, but we were less impressed with the Ponderosa Grill, and found it worthwhile to drive into Klamath Falls for restaurants there. The only criticism is that the dogs next door bark a lot--mostly a problem when coming and going from the house rather than once inside, and of course nothing that Randolph has any control over! And it wouldn't dissuade us from staying here again.

    Liz2019-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice home with everything you could need for a great stay.

    William2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • This townhouse is centrally located on the property. A dog park is a short drive. A nearby walking path takes you down to the back side of the golf course or you have walkable access to restaurants, a coffee shop/deli, and grocery store. The golf course is a fun, design that is totally enjoyable at any level of ability and the scenery is awesome. If you're going to play two or more rounds, check out buying a King Card for reduced rates. Randolph is very accommodating and readily available to answer questions if needed. If you like wildlife I counted multiple bird species from chickadees to bald eagles and mule deer, ground and gray squirrels abound throughout the day. Set up a small sunflower seed feeder and enjoy!

    Ronald2019-08-10T00:00:00Z
  • Stunning surroundings, beautiful space and lots of nature to view! Loved the birds, squirrels and deer in the garden. Very quiet and relaxing! Home had all the amenities we needed! Very comfortable beds and thoughtful provisions!

    Jenny2019-06-22T00:00:00Z
  • Calm, class, and comfort perfectly describes this townhouse. It is beautifully furnished, has easy parking, is private, and has a great view. You can enjoy your morning beverage on the deck listening to the birds. The house is well stocked and the beds are very comfortable. My family would definitely stay there again.

  • We had a great time on our trip. At the house there was about 2ft of snow but it was still super easy to get to and there was a space cleared out for parking. The host was super friendly and easy to get a hold of after our long trip up there. The house was very clean and spacious for our group of friends we took there. Kitchen and bathroom had all the basic amenities one would need and the heater kept us warm throughout our stay. 10/10

  • We found this cabin on a road trip up from California, and it was a perfect spot to rest for the night—comfortable and everything we needed (no wifi was kind of nice). We made some food, watched a movie, and crashed on the nice queen bed upstairs. The outside area was super buggy—once night came, all the windows near lamps were almost totally covered with bugs (thankfully, none getting inside)—so that put a little damper on any idea of relaxing outside or taking an evening stroll to the water. Also, we did hear some critter activity in the above-the-ceiling area, which in hindsight we think was bats. No issues with them other than the noise at night.

This is a cute little cottage built in the 1930's on the Williamson River. There are trout in the river for fishing, catch and release only, anyone over 12 must have a license to fish. The deck at the back of the house is partially covered. The river is also great for playing, swimming ( a little cold in spring ) and for kayaking. There is a kayak rental store in town. It is usually warm, 70's & 80's, on summer afternoons. There are stairs to enter the cottage. Great place to relax.
There is a large gravel driveway with plenty of room to park in front of the cottage.
There are many homes along the river (all are private). The area is only a little over 2 miles from Downtown Chiloquin. The town has two grocery/convenience stores, a few restaurants, a wonderful hardware store (the old fashioned kind with everything), a tourist information and local art center, laundromat, kayak rental store and some other small businesses. There is a casino just a few miles down highway 97 toward Klamath Falls. There are many other attractions in the area, including other rivers, hiking trails, parks, and lots of trees. Many of the roads are gravel so there is a lot of dust. Bring mosquito repellent for the evenings if you plan to be outside.
  • Cozy cottage that really felt homey. We took our raft out on the creek which was a treat. You can hear and briefly see a train across the valley from here and we loved it as we don't have trains where we're from. Beautiful sunrises/sunsets. Everything we needed at the place to cook with too. Very pleased with our stay :)

  • Karen is a super helpful and nice host. When we arrived at late night, we could not get into the house and she helped us a lot! Also the house has a nice view of the river, and the experience of seeing sun rise there was amazing!

  • A great older cottage on the river. Karen has thought of everything. Very clean, with comfy beds, plenty of blankets and lots of extra touches to make it feel homey. The kitchen is supplied with everything you might need for meals. The covered porch and deck is perfect although it was too cold and rainy to sit out there when we were there. We are looking forward to more visits with warm weather. It is perfectly named as River Haven.

  • The place is clean and very stylish! Love the jukebox(not usable though) in the living room and the view from the living room is also tranquil... There are no heater wired into the bedroom on the first floor, so it was so cold that you need additional cover (can be found in the room). The heater for the water is also not working very well because the shower water are cold... But the experience is great and the house amenity is top tier, the place is also a great photo place!

We have a lovely airbnb on 80 acres in Southern Oregon 30 minutes from Crater Lake. It is a full 1,000 sq ft basement in our home; entirely separate with its own entry. It includes one bedroom, one bath, a full kitchen (apt size stove/oven), and a large room with 2 sleeper sofas. Newly remodeled this winter. The table is a combo game/bumper pool table. Pellet stove and a big screen TV (for movies only) included. There is free wi-fi and a new stereo for your use.
We live 1 mile from the Wood River Wetlands, perfect for bird watching, canoeing, walking, fishing, and kayaking. This airbnb is in the country with gorgeous views of the nearby mountains and lakes. Klamath Falls is 30 miles south from here.
  • Great place to stay at. Beautiful scenery. Host was very friendly and even provided us with wood for a nice camp fire in their fire pit. Would definitely stay here again.

  • Spacious, clean, and very convenient to Crater Lake.

    Wendy2019-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful property. The space is quaint with a rustic charm. There’s also plenty of space for a longer stay. It’s also a quick 35-40 minutes to get to crater lake national park.

    Julie2019-09-12T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I planned a hiking vacation to Crater Lake and chose Lisa’s place based on its proximity to the park. I’m so glad we did! Lisa was super friendly and her little backyard patio area was so peaceful and beautiful. We had so much fun hiking and appreciated all her advice about the places to eat, where to get groceries, etc.

  • Great place! Much bigger than I thought it would be. Lisa was very friendly and helpful. Her dog, Macho, was super sweet and friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

  • Perhaps one of my family's favorite AirBnB stays to date! We showed up early - having gotten our reservation dates incorrect. Lucky for us, the home was open and Laurie was so very kind and accommodating. With very little notice, there still were welcoming touches and a warm fire greeting us when we arrived mid-evening. Plenty of room for family to enjoy their own space, and even a crafts desk where children can color or do activities. Plenty of room in a great kitchen to fix meals, a separate living room to relax or read with TV and family room for those who want other entertainment. Can't say enough about Laurie or this home. We hope to return!

  • Love staying at Quail run – the place was beautiful, really cute. Laurie was a great host, so easy to communicate with and helpful with directions.

  • Quail Run is one of my favorite Airbnb’s ever (and I’ve stayed in quite a few)! The house is beautiful, and Laurie fills it with thoughtful touches that make you feel cozy and at home right away. We were also really happy about how easy it was to visit Crater Lake from here. And visiting in the winter was especially magical; beautiful views from the windows and a warm space to curl up in front of the fire. I hope we can visit again!

  • Laurie house has been one of the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. So cozy , clean and thoughtful. She left cookies for our arrival and gifted us a coloring book made by her artist father . Which was sooo sweet of her- thank you Laurie! The house is gorgeous! Communication was excellent and she gave us some local tips also. Highly recommend!

    Daria2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • This place is amazing, and the hospitality was unmatched. Laurie even had fresh-baked cookies waiting for us.

    J2019-12-24T00:00:00Z
  • WOW! What a wonderful relaxing weekend. We woke up to a lot of snow, built a fire in the wood stove and enjoyed the view with a great cup of coffee. The cookies and lit candle when we arrived was a great touch. The house was much better than the pictures reflect! Will return next time we are in town!

    Cari2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • Incredible and welcoming place to stay close to Crater Lake. Highly recommended.

    Andy2019-11-13T00:00:00Z
  • What an absolutely amazing place! My wife and I stayed here on the way to CA from WA and our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. Laurie has done a really good job creating the perfect AirBnB experience, and we will definitely stay here again.

This location is part of Rocky Point Resort, it has more than 100 years of history. Many guests start booking now for next year because it's part of the family getaway year after year once they taste the magic of this heavenly place. It's a place for those who love nature, enjoy the stay in the woods and by calming and peaceful lake with mountain and water view. There is a canoe or boating trail right by the dock with 5 miles loop and 7 miles loop where you can enjoy birding, fishing or just cruise to take in the beauty of nature. The restaurant is under upgrade until mid March..Restaurant hours from March 14 - April 30 is Fri, Sat and Sun from 5-8pm. May 3-September 7 . Sat - Sun 8am-8pm, Tues - Fri 8am-10am & 5pm-8pm. Restaurant hours changes through out the season. Office or Store hour is 8am - 5pm

  • Excellent place, and i really appreciated Dan support! recommended.

  • Great cabin-like room with a view at Rocky Point Resort! We stayed here while visiting Crater Lake. It was about an hour drive to get to Crater Lake but the drive is beautiful and we loved our stay. It's a resort in the woods with a restaurant/bar and it overlooks the water. You can kayak and other things. I'd go back just to the resort for a nice, quiet get-away!

  • A nice place to stay beside the lake, with great views of the Pelican Bay. It is an RV lodge though, and they got lots of water activities to do. TLDR; (just expressing my bad experience with the restaurant, the place is fine. But read on if you care, coz this is the only place you get food.) Well, they got a good restaurant, however the day we went, they were short on staff and screwed up everything. About 30 people ended up waiting for 1.5 hours and left without food. There is no other place for 20 miles around, so literally nowhere else you can get food. And, since this is an RV lodge, people who are staying there got enough food and are not dependent on the restaurant for food. However, if you book a hotel room, its most likely you aren't camping. So beware, the only problem with this place is that its really remote and the restaurant might be your only source of food. They got good food, but the day I went, i ended up paying an outrageous amount for food I didn't get. The waitress kept coming back like 5 times "Sorry, we don't have fries", "Sorry, we don't have onion rings". My friend asked for a burger and got mushrooms spread on lettuce leaves, coz they ran out of bread or something. Everyone except us left, and we stayed as we had no other option. We had to drive to the airport and wanted to have lunch first, as we know nothing's on the way. We waited two and half hours for the food. And all my friend got was lettuce leaves with mushrooms (for a burger coz they ran out). I ordered fish and chips, got two pieces of fish (tasted good though), I was so hungry, I ordered one more. Same thing. Dozens of people ordered and couldn't wait any more and left, without paying and their food arrived later. And the most outrageous thing the waitress did was to charge us. That too full charge for everything. No wifi in the restaurant as well, and if you got T-mobile, well.. good luck.

  • Amazing stay! Location is beautiful - right on the lake with plenty of areas to enjoy bbq, boating, kayaking on your doorstep. Got to enjoy a sunrise kayak and it did not disappoint! It is part of the Upper Klamath Canoe Trail with plenty of wildlife and birds. And perfect base for Crater Lake - about a 45 min drive away. Restaurant was good (try the garlic parmesan wings!) and incredible views over the lake. Bedroom was basic but a lot bigger than the photos. Overall comfy stay and excellent value for money! Thank You!

  • Alice’s Cottage is a lovely cabin in a remote mountain setting. If you want to relax in a quiet setting, this is it. This cozy cabin is decorated in a warm an inviting manner. The kitchen is well stocked with items to support adventurous cooking, and several books of several genres and several vhs movies are available for down time. The front porch is a wonderful place to sit and visit. I recommend this cottage enthusiastically for people who really love being out in the mountains and who would like to base out of it for adventures.
