Two kilometers away is the village of Nieuwleusen, which has a bakery, a supermarket, and eateries. The Hanseatic city of Zwolle is 10 km away. Cycling in the Staphorsterbos forest, which has a natural swimming pond, is highly recommended.

Enjoy a little extra sleep on your day of departure, as you can check out until 2:00 p.m.

Festina Lente is an apartment in our renovated, thatched farm. Located in Hamingen, an old terp village with 8 houses/farms. It is close to beautiful villages such as Giethoorn, Blokzijl, Staphorst, Meppel and also the city of Zwolle. Nature reserves such as the Weerribben, De Wieden, Dwingelderveld are easily accessible. Festina Lente is a complete, comfortable apartment with its own entrance, living room, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom with 2 beds, private terrace and parking space.

The cozy Meppel is located between the villages of Havelte, Giethoorn and Staphorst. The guest house is located on our spacious yard and offers you complete privacy. The living space is fully at your disposal.
